Copa in billing

hi,
may i know where is the background setting for value like material cost, labour cost, to name a few, which i can see in profitability analysis document in vf03.
for cogs, i can see condition vprs and standard freight i also can see in condition but some other value field like i mentioned material cost, labour cost, i not see them in condiition.
may i know where are they being defined when billing is created, they are calculated and included in profitability analysis document.
can let me know the spro path or tcode for this?
thanks

Hi,
Material cost , labot cost are generally getting captured in cost elements with the  CELM category 43 (Internal Activity allocation). Also these cost elements are generally assigned to Cost component structure also (t.code KOTZ).
In COPA these all cost components are assigned to value fields as for capturing all values in COPA you need to create value fields and assign the same with Cost components in COPA, which can be done through KE4R in COPA.
Pls get back for further query.
Thanks & Regards,

  • Copies of Billing doc

    Hi,
Just wondering how can I control total copies of billing document?
I need to print 3 copies, so where can I configure? or which program that I need to change? Thanks

Modify the print program of this output. In the print program simply put a loop to print the output three times and also a counter which gets incremented each time.
If u want print title as first copy, second copy and so then change the form title with the counter .
if ctr = 1 the print First copy and so on.

  • Value flows to COPA through Billing

    Hi!
we have defined Operating concern as Costing based.
We have assigned value fields to SD conditon types which are related to different revenues.
By mistake one of the revenue GL is not defined as revenue element, so values are not flowed to COPA.
Now , how to rectify values in COPA.
whether we need to post manually the value to copa to that specific value field by arriving amount by other method?
or can we repost Billing document to rectify the values in COPA? what is the best method to follow?
we have another problem of cost of goods sold. we are treating VPRS condition type in Billing as Cost of goods sold.
But my doubt is even though there will not be any cost element with respective to VPRS condition type, the value will flow to COPA or not?
we have not defined cost of goods sold as cost element and don't want to flow the value from this GL account which is coming from PGI to COPA.
How can we get VPRS cost to COPA ?

    ajay,
KE4SFI, is only to transfer FI documents ( directly posted in FI) to COPA, so, this is not required for us.
Of course I tried by entering billing accounting document numbers, but not posting.
secondly, our scenario is now we have to adjust copa values for already posted Billing documents.  For example we have two types of revenues _ direct revenue and pallet revenue. direct revenue already flowed to COPA, where as pallet revenue is not flowed because, we have forgotten to create that GL account as cost/revenue element.
Now If I use KE21N, I am not able to give reference Billing document number, there by I can get report for each billng document wise.
Secondly if i use KE4S, if i ticked Update control with "check for existing records", system is not posting any thing ( In this I want to transfer only pallet price to COPA not any other values).
If  I ticked update control with "Posting with out check", system is generating COPA document i.e it is posting all the values again. SO, for the same billing document we will have to copa document which will duplicate the values which are already posted, which is not correct.
I think now I have explained my situaiton.
can you suggest to pass only pallet price to copa with reference to billing document?

  • COPA from Billing seperate sales rev qty & sales return qty

    Dear Experts,
If we need to seperate sales rev qty & sales return qty, how do we send sales rev qty & sales return qty by billing type?
    Thanks in advance.

    HI,
I assume you want to post the sales rev. qty / sales return qty. You can use enhancement COPA005 (include ZXKKEU08) to move actual values/quantities to other value/quantity fields if you have a rule for that.
I guess you can use the SD document category which is assigned to every billing type to differentiate between sales postings and sales return postings. This is more stable than focussing on the billing type itself (where a new one is created easily but nevertheless it must be assigned to an existing SD document category).

  • CCS Details are not getting updated to COPA in Sales Order Settlement(VA88)

    Dear Experts,
Our scenario is MTO with valuated material.
    1. Production order is tagged to Sales Order.
    2. Production order is settled to Material and variance is getting posted to COPA.
    3. At the time of Delivery, COGS Debit (Cost Object- Sales Order), Credit - Inventory.
    4. At the time of Billing, Accounting Document is getting generated, COPA document is not getting generated.
    5. We  are not executing WIP. (as per Business process)
    6. Settlement is done thru transaction code VA88. COPA Document is getting generated.
I am facing the following issues in the above MTO process.
    1. At time of sales order settlement thru VA88, In COPA, only COGS is getting as updated with one value field i.e. Material Cost.  Cost Component data (Material Depreciation, Labor etc..) is not getting updated to COPA.
    2. When I settle the Sales Order thru VA88, Billing Quantity is not getting updated to COPA though Quantity field mapping is done properly.
Please help me how to resolve the above issues.
Note: Same Cost Component Structure, we are using for Make to Stock scenario. Cost Component Data is getting updated Properly to COPA  (at the time of Billing)

    Hi
    1. CCS (Cost Comp Split) wont be updated to COPA if you settle via sale order.. In sale order, COGS cost element is posted.. the same will get settled to COPA as one single value...
In MTS, the CCS gets updated to COPA upon billing because of the "valuation" strategy customization... Billing posts to COPA in that case, COPA gets Sales Qty and it is valuated with CCS to give you the break up.. But, in your case, Billing is not posting to COPA, but to sales order.. hence, there is no qty flow into COPA upon billing.. thats why you dont get CCS for MTO
    2. The sales qty should be updated to COPA upon VA88.. For this, make the following settings in your PA transfer structure which is used during VA88
    1. Go to KEI1, Select your PA transfer structure...
    2. Add an assignment line in it... Check on "Qty Billed/Delivered" in the assignment line
    3. In the Tab "Value Field" below "source", assign Qty Field
Now when you settle, it should update qty as well

  • Pricing procedure with a reference of a billing document

    Hi all,
How to apply new pricing procedure when you use a reference of another billing document?
by VA01, I want to use a billing document as a reference to create another sales document. Tthese 2 has different pricing procedures but when I do this, I want the sales document to use its own procing procedure.
But when I refer a billing document and create a sales document at VA01, it copies the billing document's pricing procedure.
These 2 pricing procedures have different condition types.
I already went to "Maintain Copy Control for Sales Document" - "Copying Controld: Billing Document to Sales Document"  and set "B" as its pricing type.
Waiting for a valuable replies from y'all.
    Best regards
    Misaki

    HI,
    Thank you for your reply,
I already have assigned pricing procedures to the required order types at OVKK, and V/08.
but it still doesn't go right.
When I don't refer any billing document at VA01 and simply create a sales document using required order type,  the assigned pricing procedure is used. However, when I use a reference of a billing document to create a new sales document, it copies a pricing procedure from the refered billing document and doesn't  use its own pricing procedure.
Wanting to know how to redetermine a pricing procedure to create a sales document when referring a billing document.
Ideally, the new sales document doesn't copy a pricing procedure at all from the reference(billing document), if possible.
I really appreciate for your help.

  • Required Field which flowes from Sales Order to Billing Document at item

    Dear All,
I required one field which i can enter in sales order at item level and that copies into billing document.
    Which field i can use.
    Regards,
    PM

    PM,
YOu are using material group for analysis purpose. please check the config path:
IMG --> LG --> Material Master --> Settings for Key Fields --> we have one "Define Material group" where you will maintain the initial Material group appearing in Material master.
But what you require is Material group appearing in sales order item details screen. For that check
IMG --> LG --> Material Master --> Settings for Key Fields --> Data Relevant to Sales and Distribution
    --> Define material groups
Then we need to maintain Material group hiererchy for the materials then group all the materials then proceed accordingly.
I tried but i didn't get.... i have not tried material group hierarchy

  • Ship-to (KUNWE) not transferred in COPA (missing in CE1* table and COPA documents)

I am trying to solve very strange problem  - in COPA some billing documents got transferred with missing ship-to characteristic (KUNWE). The ship-to is there when looking at the FI document profitabilty segment section, and also is getting transferred when simulating the same billing transfer with KE4ST. It seems like it was temporary issue that had been happening for about two weeks, but I have no idea what could have caused it. I checked the change log in KEDR and there were no changes.
Did someone had similar issue? Any advice on what could be done to make sure this doesn't happen in the future would be really appreciated.

    Thank you, Ajay.
Actually there is no derivation rule for ship-to as it is standard characteristic so it is transferred from PAPARTNER - KUNWE so how I can activate error message? I guess I need to create new derivation rule?

  • Cost flow to COPA

    Hi All,
I understand that revenues flow into COPA from Billing my mapping SD condition types to value fields
    But how do costs flow
    By VPRS to value field
    Or
FI ( PA transfer structure cost element )  to Value field
Also what is the significance of VPRS ( does it contain accurate costs ?)
    Regards,
    Reddy

VPRS will pull std. cost from the material master if Price control = S. So yes you can map VPRS to lets say STDPR in COPA...
However it will not be broken down by fix/ variable or other cost components.
For that you need to configure "Valuation" in COPA customizing.
    Hope this helps,
    Arif

  • Is it legal to refuse my request to see my last two bills?

I am incredibly frustrated with Verizon Wireless and I do not know how to proceed.  I moved from the United States to Europe last month, and I cancelled our family cell phone plan which consisted of two phones.  My wife moved first, and her phone was the primary account.  When her line was cancelled, I was no longer able to login to our Verizon account.  I moved a month later, and now I am both unable to login or create an online Verizon account.  Verizon charged me the termination fee (which is fine), and proceeded to charge my bank account through online payments even though I am entirely unable to manage my online payments.  Furthermore, Verizon refuses to allow to me to see the bills for the last two months.  I can not sign online to view them; Verizon will not e-mail the bills to me; Verizon refuses to send the bills to my address in Europe.  I was told I have two ways to see the bills: go to a Verizon Corporate Office (there are none in Europe!), or they will mail bills to an address in the U.S.  Finally, I gave them an address of a friend in the U.S. who agreed to scan the documents for me.  That was two weeks ago and they still have not received the bills.  It has been over two months now.  I explained in detail I need copies of the bills, which is my legal right, for reimbursement of the termination fees due to my move.  Will someone please explain to me how it is legal for Verizon to refuse to allow me to manage my online account, and refuse to give me copies of my last two bills?

Thank you all for having an interest in this issue.  I think it is very important, and I appreciate your time and consideration!
I contacted Verizon well before I terminated my service, which was very helpful for two reasons: 1) the person on the phone explained the reason for the early termination fee which admittedly took a while for me to understand, and 2) I was able to end my contract on the day I wanted.  So, rschnoor, this comment:
If it was pro-rated, the OP may not have cared. If the OP had known beforehand and timed the cancellation differently, then it also may not have been a problem.
was both wrong and right in that I did not care.
My primary complaint is that the online account which is used for managing everything - receiving copies of bills, auto bill pay, looking at historical phone records - is cancelled at the moment the phone line is terminated not at the moment business with Verizon officially ends.
I disagree with rschnoor 's comment:
This is merely semantics. You no longer have a MyVerizon account. The access wasn't terminated, the MyVerizon account was. Before you had an online MyVerizon account, Verizon had an account for you. Now that your MyVerizon account has been terminated, Verizon STILL has an account for you.
It is not semantics.  It is an issue of access.  As long as there remains business between Verizon and myself, Verizon should provide the courtesy of allowing me access to the documents describing our relationship through access to the MyVerizon account.  It is simply a matter of delaying termination of access to MyVerizon to the date that the final transaction is completed.  This is could be as little as thirty days.
Further compounding my frustration is that I was on the phone for quite some time with Verizon to understand what early termination due to an overseas move would mean.  Although the cancellation of MyVerizon account was likely mentioned buried somewhere in the terms and conditions, they should have at least provided the courtesy of informing me that the online account would be closed at the date the phone is cancelled.  I could have made arrangements then to receive my final bill, print any of my historical bills, and otherwise managed my affairs.
Thank you Catbird9 for your interest as well!  I agree with you:
However, I think you have a point in that you should be allowed to approve payment of the final bill before it is made. It seems unreasonable that they will not even e-mail you the bill. In hindsight, maybe you could have cancelled the auto-pay before closing the account?

  • Problems with downloading PDF copies of Statements

Is anyone experiencing problems downloading PDF copies of billing statements? When I attempt to do so, every file I download is categorized by Adobe Acrobat as an invalid file/format. Thanks.

Are you using the newer My Verizon web site? I know it allows you to download the bills in multiple formats.
If you have not been switched yet, and you do switch, it will not allow you to switch back to the older MyVerizon format. I am not sure if everyone has switched over.
    http://www22.verizon.com/foryourhome/myaccount/ngen/upr/nlogin.aspx
If you login and select Bill & Payment from the left side bar, the page should display the current bill.
At the top of that page you will see a pull down menu that will allow the display of other months.
To the right of the pull down, there is an icon that says "Get My Bill (Up to 24 months)" click on that icon, and it will start with the Current Bill.
You can ask for paper bill select PDF or select other formats, click on Download My Bill, then it will say "Your PDF file of your bill is ready for download. " you musk click a second time. For the download to come up in the menu.
This works for me, and I am only using the Latest Reader and not the Pro Version, But have Pro at work and have had no issues.
It seems like a more complicated procedure as compared to the previous one, but it does provide multiple download formats, with more options that others have requested.

  • How to view Bills older than 12 months

Does anyone know how I can view copies of my Billing statements from longer than 12 months ago online?  I am only able to see back to August 2010 and need some prior billing info back to March 2010 for business purposes.  Is this possible if I don't have the hard copies?

You'll need to contact customer service to get copies of bills prior to 12 months ago. 800-922-0204.

    Hi,
when reconciling Fi with CO check the following things:
    - Which FI accounts do not have a corresponding cost element? (e.g. cost of goods sold). Can you find the equivalent amount of cost in COPA? For example, if you get COGS to COPA from billing documents and the month of the billing document is not equal to the month of the movement of goods sold from stock costs are shown in a different month in COPA than in FI.
    - Are you using any COPA conditions (KE41 etc.) that are posted to COPA without a corresponding FI document?
    - As all FI postings with a cost element go to CO, in these cases you have to check if all the internal orders and cost centers have a balance of zero after settlement (= end up in COPA). Use standard reports to check this.
    - There could be a problem with the +/- signs in COPA. Depending on your customizing, costs from SD documents can have a negative sign in the COPA value field, while costs that are directly posted from FI have a positive sign. You have to keep that in mind when making the assignments to COPA value fields and when defining your reports in KE30.

  • Accounting Revenue distribution not copied when copying a bill

    Hello,
I'm trying to copy bills (copy single bill functionality) in PS 9.0. When I do this it only copies my account and alternate account and no other values (e.g. affiliate, project, etc.)
I'm sure I missed some set up but can't find which part.
Can somebody help me with this?
    regards,
    Stijn

    Hi Stijn
Assuming there are no customisations affecting the objects, I suggest you raise a service request with My Oracle Support.
PeopleBooks reads "The system copies all bill information—including any discounts, surcharges, notes, and accounting distributions, but excluding bill status and invoice date—to the new bill. The system creates the new bill with a status of NEW, with a blank invoice date, and with a current date bill added".
My experience is consistent with this information, so your situation is unusual and unexpected. I don't recall any specific setup or configuration that should affect this. I hope that helps.
    Regards
    Neil
