COPCP002

Hi ABAPers,
Enhancement: COPCP002
function module exit: EXIT_SAPLCK36_001
include in function module exit: zxckau04
include exit is implemented: LCK36FAZ
Main Program: SAPLCK36
Please help me how to find out any transaction for this function module exit. Is there any relationship between this user exit and MB1B transaction.
When I execute the TCode MB1B, I noticed that this exit is not getting trigerred although it is activateded. It is also not triggered when we are doing MIGO to Sales Order stock with 501 E.
In our system we use MB1B transaction for transfer posting from one sales order  to another sales order stock with Movement Type 413 E.
If there is some other movement type or transaction which is triggering this exit please inform us. We want to use it for externally procured components when we put it on Sales Order stock.
At [Standard Price with Valuated Sales Order Stocks |http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_03/helpdata/EN/90/ba6cc7446711d189420000e829fbbd/frameset.htm] we found information about Enhancement COPCP002.
Thanks & Regards,
Mira.

Hi,
Whatever the price derived during the initial partial delivery using the user exit, the system considers the same for remaining partial deliveries.
It doesn't once again use the use-exit.
Please let me know if the system behaves otherwise

  • Amount on Goods receipt for return orders is wrong with movement type 653

Hi All, I am sorry if it is a simple question because i am an abap'er.
My requirement is to create return sales order (with ref.to Billing document) and deliver and PGI for the return orders. This should go to sales order stock. Accounting document should be generated for material document and the amount should be picked up from condition type (if man.cond. type exist) else from material master.
    1) Created a sales order (Bought in item cat) - Create PO (Non stock) - Receive goods (MIGO) - Create Delivery (VL01N) -   PGI (Movement type 601 and special stock indic. 'E') - Create billing document (F2 type from VF01)
So far it is good. The account document is created (PGI - cost of goods) with correct amount as desired
The next scenario is if the material is returned? This is where we are having issues
Created sales order with ref.to billing doc. (S.O: RE. Item.Cat. Return Bought in (YRBI)... this is pretty much same as bought in except few things which are YRBI  - Delivered - PGI (Goods returns. unrestricted) Movement type 653 - Problem comes here.
    a) If i put special stock indic 'E' in 'Return bought in item.cat - There is no accounting document generated for 653 movement type.
    b) if i maintain space instead of 'E' in return bought in item.cat - there is an accounting document but the manual cost is not copied to accounting document and it is picking up from material master which we dont want and The stock is not showing up in sales order.
I did my research (forum, OSS, google, and in help.sap.com) before posting here but no help.
I have checked account assignment categories for 'A' - (some post explained this) I tried changing values but no help.
I even tried changing the schedule line category to DN but no help.
I dont know what i forgot to change or check but i have tried everything what i know and from help from different sources ... still couldnt get it.
Original requirement is to make the return stock as sales order stock and this can also be returned to vendor. If there is a manual cost in return sales order, the PGI accounting document should be created with this condition value else from material master.
    My pricing settings are good.
It would be really helpful if any one guide me to configure the process or atleast if anyone tells me what am i missing... .

  • Engineer to Order Scenario-Target Costs and Stock Valuation

I have got a query  pertaining to Engineer to  Order Scenario. A production order has been created with WBS element as the account assignment .Its a valuated project stock scenario, with configurable material. As per SAP standard behaviour  and my limited knowledge, the Goods Receipt for FERT/HALB happens according to either of the four strategies:
    •     Standard Price ( if there exists one)
    •     Customer Exit COPCP002
    •     Sales Order Cost Estimate
    •     Preliminary Order Cost Estimate for prod order
However ,I have come across a case where although a preliminary order cost estimate exists for the production order, the system is not able to determine target costs. As a result the entire variance is posted as remaining variance at the time doing a variance calculation on the production order. Moreover at the time of Goods Receipt for FERT material, the system passses an entry Price diff A/c -Debit to Cost of Production, instead of debiting Inventory  and crediting cost of production(Price Control is S, no standard price exists for the material)
    Thus my query is :
    1) In case of Engineer to Order Valuated Stock Scenario where prod order is created with reference to WBS element, how is the standard price (or target costs for version 0) determined
    2) Under what situation at the time of goods receipt ,will an entry " Price diff A/c Dr & cost of production-Credit will be posted, instead of  Inventory A/c being debited?
    Awaiting a reply
    -Regards
    Amit Kulkarni

    Hi Amit
the easy answer first: The standard price is just taken out of the material segment without WBS assignment. That means if you maintain a standard price in the accounting view of the material master for the material number + plant that will be the fallback to be used. That will at least reuslt in a inventory posting, instead of pure price differences (against a price of zero)
Why your production order cost estimate could not be derived I cannot say. But he first startegy will be to search for the cost estimate to the WBS. Is there not something in the project system to perform a project costing and save it? in that case that will be searched and used for the order target cost and inventory posting.

  • Goods receipt for return PO - MB01-Movement type 101-161

    Hi guys!
I have one problem with output determination for goods movement (movement type 101 with internal movement type 161).
I used SAP Note 426554 and for as I know the output determination customizing is ok:
output type WE03, collective slip, access sequence 0003 , condition table: 72 Transaction/Printed Version/Print ID, Transaction/event type: WE, movement type: 101 - 161, Print indicator: 1Material document printout – 2 Return delivery, Transmission time-spot of the condition record (1 to 4):1-3, print indicator (RM07M-XNAPR) is set manually and maintained as NDR parameter in user master record, Output type print parameter is Plant/storage location (7), printer determination is customized.
At header level, the document created with MB01 with reference to a return PO, doesn't have the XNAPR parameter (don't know why - it is set when using MB01). It may be this one the reason for not having any output message to print. For movement type 101 (in reference to a PO) all works fine. Just for 101-161 movement type the system doesn't create any output type.
Do you have some suggestions? What should I do..what else soul I check?
    Thanks.

  • Finished Goods valued at Future Standard price at the time of Delivery .

    Hi,
My client requires the Finished Goods to be valued at Future Standard price at the time of delivery from Production order. This is required because in case there are frequent changes in the material prices, i can mark my material several times.. and change the future standard price.
I have checked and found that it is always valued at Current standard price only.. and not at the future standard price.
    1) i have tested by changing the costing variant in OPL1 ( Planned costing variant for Production orders).. such that the valuation variant picks up the Future price... it seems it will work only for the Raw materials and SFG's consumed in the Production order and not for the Finished goods.
    2. Define valuation variant for Goods received option in the IMG - It seems it is relevant only when your FG is valued at Moving average price only.. so not relevant for my case.
    My question :
Can i value my Finished goods at future standard price ( i.e Marked standard cost estimate ) at the time of receiving goods from Production order ? If yes how ?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

    Siva

    Hi Siva
It is very much possible, but you need to use exit... I think exit COPCP002 should be the relevant....
Usually, this is used to valuate the GR in case of Valuated sales order stock... I guess this should work in MTS also...
The reason why I feel it should be possble, is that if you read SAP text for the IMG Step Define Goods Received Valuation for Order Delivery, it says at the end
For materials with price control S, on the other hand, the credit posting is always made at standard price.
If you deliver to stock at a price that is not the standard price, the system will report an output price variance in variance calculation
Hence, it should be very much possible to achieve what you want.. Only thing is it will hit a PPV and that you need to find relevant exit if the one abov does not work

  • How to valuate special stock E

    Dear all,
    we don't use production.
We create a sales order for a ROH material and then we create a purchase order with account category assignment M.
When we post the good receipt an FI document is created (Raw material Purchasing  vs Invoice receivable) but the system updates the special stock E only with quantity, the value is zero, so no FI posting for stock account.
We tried to put the sales order valuation class ROH in the material master but nothing changed.

    Hi,
the following note seems to be applicable to your problem:
    [ Note 983193 - Docu:Externally procurd material in valtd sales order stock|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/983193]
To be able to valuate the goods receipt for the net purchase order price , use the COPCP002 user exit. In this case, you can use any price even the corresponding net purchase order price.

  • Special stock valuation

    Dear Experts,
Can any one tell me whre we will do project stock valuation .
and how the table QBEW-LBWST will get updated
    Thanks
    Bhaskar

    Dear Bhaskar,
Materials with project stock and standard price price control are valuated as per the following strategy is HARDCODED in the system:
    1. looks into QBEW if any GR/IR has already taken place.
    2. runs user Exit COPCP002 / EXIT_SAPLCK36_001 which is designed
exclusively for valuated sales order stock.
    3. looks for a marked sales order cost estimate.
    4. looks for planned costs of a production order (preliminary costing).
    5. CU50 if configurable material (only for project stock)
    6. standard price from MBEW (standard cost estimate)
The first time a goods movement is carried out the system will go through this strategies until it can find a valid price, and then will write an entry in QBEW. The successful strategy number is also written to field LBWST. From then on, the price from these tables will be used for valuating the special stock in every other goods movement.
You can find this part of the coding in Function Module CK36_STANDARD_PRICE_GET > Form PRICE_STRATEGY_NEW.
Note 520000 which provides more information about this logic.

  • Different Method to valuate sales order stock

    Dear expert,
I came across a problem and I need your help:
Scenario: Make-To-Order production without sales order controlling.  Uses standard price in material master record.
As we know, There are a predefined sequence to valuate sales order stock: First, The system uses the standard price on the basis of your customer exit COPCP002 Material valuation for valuated sales order stock. If not defined COPCP002, Then, the system uses sales order costing.  Then, the system determines the standard price using the production order cost estimate. At the end,  the system determines that If you manufacture a material both for the make-to-stock-inventory and for the valuated sales order stock, the system reads the material master record of the collective requirements material.
In SAP online Help, there is a note that: If you calculate the standard price of sales order stock in a preliminary cost estimate for the manufacturing order or use the price in the material master record, you cannot transfer cost component splits into COPA. This is my doubt: I don't know exactly where are the differences between sales orde costing and standard price in material mater to determine sales order stock.
So, I have a question:  What are the extract diffences between using sale order cost estimate and the standard price in the material master record to determine valuated sales order stock?
Thanks for your help.  Best regards,

What you said is exactly what I want! Very thankful for your help.
Yes, I have found that in EBEW table that standard price is valuated with preliminary cost estimate because I don't give a sales order cost estimate but I give an sales order stock in the customizing - requirement class. So, I have this question that how the sales order stock is determined.
In COPA customizing (COprofitability analysismaster datavaluationSet up valuation using material cost estimate), standard cost estimate or sales order cost estimate can be transferred into COPA value fields in our system.
But, I have still have a question: I found in our system, preliminary cost estimate in the linked production order is determined for valuation of sales order stock in EBEW table. As sap online help says, cost component splits can not be transferred to COPA.
So, according to SAP online help, I think what you said u201Cu2026..However , when we start thinking about the result of this cost to flow into COPA , this cannot happen as the Inventory was valued with a Preliminary csot estimate. So , the Online help says that it will not be able to transfer Result of Preliminary cost estimate into COPA for transferrring COGS details. System would always require a Standard cost estimate or a Sales order Cost estimate to flow Cost details into COPAu201D is correct.
But, in our system, cost component can be transferred into COPA!? When I create a sales billing (invoice) with tcode VF01, it can create a profitability analysis document (shown in VF03) which it had a cost component split for that material in the sales order stock valuated with the preliminary cost estimate. Or where is stored for the Make-to-Order materialu2019s cost component split in COPA?
That is the real point that confused me. Hope you can help me. Thanks very much.

  • CO03 'Delivery value'

    Hello
When confirming production orders the value posted to inventory (credit prod order, debet inventory) is not understandable for Kmats. We are using valuated sales order stock.
It is not a problem for std materials for which the value is the std price from material master, but for Kmats I can't find out from where the value is taken/found/calculated. As far I see it is not from the cost estimate in the assigned sales order...
    Can anybody help me.
    BR
    Søren

    Hi
check your settings in requirement class... particularly The fields "valuation", "Acccount assignment category (AAC)" and "Without valuation strategy"
    1. In your SO, go to "procurement" tab and you will find Req Type...
    2. Now go to IMG > CO > Prod Costing > Cost Obj COntr > Prod cost by SO > COntrol of Req > Req Type.... Here you will assignment of req type to req class
    3. Check the settings in this req class.. For documentation, go to help.sap.com or SAP library on your computer and follow this path
    - Controlling > Product Cost Controlling > Cost Obj Contr > Product Cost by sales order > Valuated sales order stock > Std price with valuated sales order stock
    4. Indicator M and M are required in the fields "AAC" and "Valuation", if you wish to have valuated sales order stock without sales order as cost object. In case you want sales order as CO object, then your AAC has to be E.
    5. The impact of field "Without valuation strategy" is as below : -
    a.  If you check this, the valuated sales order stock is valuated with the standard price of the non-allocated warehouse stock (i.e. MTS Stock)
    b. If you do not check this, then the following strategy applies:
    i. Standard price using Customer Exit COPCP002 - Material valuation of valuated sales order stock. If necessary read the documentation for the customer exit.
ii. Standard price according to sales order cost estimate or to order BOM cost estimate
iii. Standard price according to preliminary cost estimate for sales order or process order or product cost collector; for engineer-to-order cost estimate for the WBS element.
iv. Standard price according to the material master record entry for material controlled by collective requirements

  • MB31 Goods Receipt Price Control

    Dear Sir,
We  need that during MB31 , Goods Receipt must happen at Std Price only  and it should not depend on the Target Cost appearing in the Production Order .
During serching on the sdn , I came to know that Price control startegy during MB31 can be any-one of the following :
the Goods Receipt for FERT/HALB happens according to either of the four strategies:
    • Standard Price ( if there exists one)
    • Customer Exit COPCP002
    • Sales Order Cost Estimate
    • Preliminary Order Cost Estimate for prod order
Kindly guide us , as what steps need to be followed to define these price strategy control  during the MB31 . Does it require some thing in SPRO ? .
    Kindly guide pl .

    Dear Mr Biswanath Rath
    Thanks for Reply .
Our Requirement is that during MB31 , stock should come at the Actual Value (Amount spent on the Production Order) .  At present the Stock is comming at the Std Price (Std Price as per Material Master after the Cost run) .
See , We are in Engineer-To-Order scenario and for us each manufactured Item (HALB & FERT both) are unique every time . So it is really impossible to know the accurate Std Cost in advance . Due to large variation between the Std Price and Actual Amount spent on Production Order , it leads to huge amount in Price Differnce during the Order Settlement and this affect the accuracy of monthly Profitablity figure .
While searching on sdn , I came to know that by using USER-EXIT COPCP005 , we can exercise our logic about as what cost should be carried-out during MB31 .
But , I o not know  what steps/ / code  need to be followed for this User-Exit to implement .
I hope that now our requirement is pretty clear .

  • Goods Receipts 101 E from Production Order without valuation

    Hi,
we faced a strange issue relating to the final confirmation of production order.
In some cases, the goods receipt of main order, created by the confirmation in CO11N, has value "0".
Taking a look to some production orders for the same product, they have no differences and the valuation is correctly with the plan cost estimate.
    The issue is triggered twice:
    1- Directly with the first confirmation in random cases;
2- Confirmation with wrong value (higher than Zero), reversal of confirmation and new confirmation without valuation.
    Could you please help us?
    Thanks.
    MC

    Hi
With Valuation Strategy M, a record is created in EBEW for each sales order
    1. The first goods receipt results in valuation on the basis of one of the subsequent strategies in the specified sequence. A standard price selected through one of the subsequent strategies is copied into strategy and serves as the valuation basis from this point onwards.
    - The system calculates the standard price on the basis of your customer exit COPCP002 Material valuation for valuated sales order stock.
    - The system calculates the standard price in a sales order cost estimate. This sales order cost estimate can be based on a unit cost estimate or on a product cost estimate.
    - The system determines the standard price using the production order cost estimate or the planned costs for the WBS element. If there are multiple production orders for the same sales order item, the system uses the standard price that results from the production order that delivers first (see strategy 1).
    2. If the above price is changed after first delivery, then the difference would be posted as output price variance at month end.
    3. Even reversal of first goods receipt does not reverses the standard price. You need to manually change it using MR21..
    4. Have you ticked "W/o Val Strategy" in your req class? If yes, it means that inventory is valuated using Std cost from CK11N... In your case, if it is ticked and Std cost is not released, then GR will be valuated at zero price

  • MTO - get finished goods receipt to post at standard price?

    Hi
I have a MTO process. The standard price of the FERT is 10 in the material master. The total of the BOM is 8.  When I goods receipt the finished product, it posts a value of 8, i.e. the calculated cost in the sales order.
How do I get it to post at the standard price from the material master?

    Dear,
In MTO sales order base manufacturing system do the valuation not on the basis of  standard price of product instead of the value of the valuated sales order as per standard SAP.
Go to SPRO--Controlling -Product Cost Controlling Cost Object Controlling --Product Cost by Sales Order --Control of Sales-Order-Related Production/Product Cost by Sales Order --Check Requirement Classes:
In your req class, Check from your planning strategy OPPS IF 20 the it is KE
    Use Acct assignment category M
    Valuation indicator as A
W/o Val strategy X (Check) But F1 and read the deatils
You can use this customer exit COPCP002 to do the valuation on the standard price. Also refer OSS  Note 557582 - User exit and valuated sales order stock
    Hope clear to you.
