Copy CRLs after certutil -CRL

hi!
I am trying to copy CRLs automatically to another server (running under Linux). So what I do is:
certutil -crl and scp to somewhere
When I do this as Domain admin, it works, when I do this as a user with local admin rights, I get at the certutil -CRL
0x80070005 (WIN32: 5 ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED)
Since I want to let this run as a scheduled Task I would prefer a local admin account.
What am I missing?

This issue is related to UAC. When you run command prompt in normal mode, administrator membership is not attached to the token and command prompt do not recognize caller as an administrator. This is why you have to run the command in an elevated command
prompt. For scheduled tasks there is a check-box "Run with highest priveleges" which will add administrators token to the caller. In other words:
1) in console, command prompt should be run in an elevated mode
2) in task scheduler, enable the check-box which enables all available priveleges.

Will print from computer; will scan documents & save to computer; will NOT copy document on the unit.

Error 155007 (Path is not a working copy directory) after XCode upgrade

Another person with an error caused after upgrading XCode to 3.2.3 from 3.1.3!
My project now compiles and seems to run in the simulator, but the bottom of the project window shows the above error message as soon as I open the project. It also adds the helpful text "Description: '/Users/me/Documents/andsoon/ProjectName' is not a working copy" where the directory path is to an existing directory where my project files are stored and compiled from.
So what's the problem, and where in the settings do I correct it?
The indicated directory path is the path shown at the top of the Project Settings window, but it is not editable there. Its the directory I have always used. Does XCode somehow consider these are originals and I should be using a "working copy"?
Has this error arisen because I am still trying to configure SCM with Subversion?

Update:
This error message is being generated by SCM. It appears in a warning dialog when I try and commit.
I've still no idea of how to resolve it.

HP6520 Scanner and Copier Broke after installing windows 8.1

After installing windows 8.1, my copier and scanner stopped working. I have an HPPhotosmart 6520. There is no "Microsoft Fix it" for Windows 8.1. Could you help me with this problem? Thank you.

Server for NFS deletes the partially copied file after failover

Hello,
I found the strange behaviour in Server for NFS in the microsoft foc cluster.
I have a foc cluster of two nodes(windows server 2k12r2) and server for nfs role is installed on both. now I did mount the export from the client(windows server 2k12r2) where client for nfs role is installed;
and a large file copying from the clients local drive to the mounted export is started.
Now during this copying operation I did switch the export to second node(moved it using the failover cluster manager wizard). and what I found is the copying interrupts with
error message "there is problem accessing file path" and on retry the copying starts all over again, I mean if the 50% was copied previously then
after retry it will start from 0%.
I watched the system events on second node with the "procmon" and I found; after the disk gets attached to the second node, the delete operation is get called for this file.
Now what I need to know is why this delete is been called and who made this called. In the stack of the delete operation I could track the nfssvr.sys but not sure what attributes of that file made it to call the
delete.

It takes us some time to create a failover cluster for testing.
We tried to copy a large folder which contains many files, and a large VHD file we created.
The result is the same - it will not restart the copy after failover. Thus as you said it is not caused by design and it should be an issue on your side which causes a Delete and redo the copy.
Is there any application or specific network settings could terminate a disconnected copy process? Currently I do not have much information about this.
Edit: I noticed that it is NFS share and in our test we are using SMB share. Will do the test again to see if any difference.

The PDF couldn't copy words after highlight it.

I open the pdf files with preview in OSX 10.7.2.
However, I found the pdf files crash after I highlight it sometimes.
I means that I couldnt copy the words in the PDF anymore.
The same problems occurred in the 10.7 and not occurred in 10.6.
I open the highlighted pdf with Skim app. but Skim couldnt copy the words, too.
Does everyone have the same problems for this ?

Hi there,
I think this may be an issue with the PDF file itself, if it doesn't work in more than one piece of software. You may, however, like to use Adobe Acrobat instead.
Try redownloading the PDF, as your copy may have corrupted somehow.

Copy/paste after filtering

After filtering, has anyone found a way to copy/paste only the data that is visible? I have seen this feature on a wish list, so I suspect the answer is no. Would love to be wrong.

I figured out a fast easy way to do this with zillions of rows...
1) Create a single sheet.
2) Create a single table with a single column. (I didn't use header or footers.)
3) Fill the single column will your data (I imported a CSV with 500 rows.)
4) Apply your filter. (I was left with 128 rows of data after the filter.)
5) Export the sheet to PDF (I just created a tmp.pdf file on my desktop using file->export)
6) Open the pdf (You'll notice only your filtered data is in the PDF -YEY!- )
7) Select the contents of the column in the pdf file.
8) Paste it into a new table in numbers.
The whole process takes about 30 seconds. But it is MUCH better than control-clicking each row 1 by 1.
Hope this help others! Hope apple makes this better. (Yes, I sent feedback!)
Random thought:
Numbers is the ONLY spreadsheet app I don't mind using. It is amazingly intuitive for someone like me who hates spread sheets.
Completing work with it is just so easy to do and easy to make look good! It is hard not to get excited about something that is normally SSSSSOOOOOO boring!

Network file copy barfs after copying four files

When copying large files, say 350MB, to my windows 2003 server, the copy process usually barfs on the Mac side after 4 or 5 files. This process can be faster if I am downloading or have a steady stream of data coming to the Mac.
All I do is highlight the files and drag them to the windows share. Is there another way of performing a copy?
Anyone else have this problem?

Unfortunately this did not help. Essentially, the network drive becomes disconnected after around 4 or 5350 MB files being copied.

Cannot copy information after updating to IOS5.0.1

Automate copy version after approval process

My client wants the system automatically copy data from version A to version B after they approve a request. Example: Department manager approve asset request with "Final - ABC", then this version is automatically copied to "Working - DEF".
Is it possible to do that in Hyperion?

While not entirely automatic, you could attach a business rule that copies Version A to Version B, to the form that the person reviewing and approving the asset req uses for the review. Make sure only that/those reviewer(s) have access to see and use the business rule. If they know they are going to approve, run the BR then approve.

I restored my ipod and all of my movies and music didn't copy back over. (Most did.) How do I find the ones that didn't? When I check Itunes it showed them in the cloud before and now they are not even showing up in Itunes. What are we doing wrong?

It sounds like not all your purchases transferred to your computer before your restored your iPod touch. I found an article with some steps to download your past iTunes purchases. I recommend following the steps in the section titled "Apps, Books, Music, Movies, or TV shows on a computer" in the following article:

Yosemite Files to Copy Over After Clean Install

I've done clean installs in the past and transferred my flies over manually using Time Machine. I haven't done one since Mountain Lion I think and I know the file locations have changed a bit in Yosemite. The three main programs I'm concerned about are iTunes, Mail and iPhoto. In the past I've copied over the iTunes Library folder, Mail folder and iPhoto Library folder over and then replaced the plist in the Preference Folder. These include, com.apple.iTunes.plist, com.apple.iPhoto.plist and com.apple.mail.plist. This has always copied over the data and settings. I'm curious if this still hods true with Yosemite as it did with Mountain Lion and I want to know where these files are kept if so.
I can't seem to find any information on this or any guides. Any information would help.

Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library. Then go to Preferences.

Can I continue using Carbon Copy Cloner after upgrading to Snow Leopard?

Hi the last time that I backed up my Mac Pro to my external hard drive using Carbon Copy was when I was on Leopard. I recently upgraded to Snow Leopard, can I continue using Carbon Copy Cloner on Snow Leopard or do i have to format the external Drive? Thanks

Error with a copy function after upgrading to patch 18 on the server

Hi experts,
I had the following error when I try to execute with trace in RSPLAN a copy function that was right and functioning over a workbook before upgrading to patch 18 in the server:
'Char. value of 0COSTELMNT does not correspond to value of block char. 623004'
The functions seems to be right also when I check the values but the error message is still there and over the workbook Copy function button.

Technically, Oracle supports Oracle XE through that forum. At least that was the policy as I knew it a while ago.
With installation issues for XE and the like it's probably better to just post it there. Obviously a grey area and you may well get a hit or two here, but I think you should post these kinds of questions on the XE forum.
When it comes to Apex development questions you can definitely post them here. I know, I know, it really is a pain! But you want to post where you have the best chance of getting good help.
