Its entire contents is "stolen" -- the guy who made it advertises himself as "proficient XML and HTML programmer", but rather than proving it by doing something worthwhile himself, he copied the entire contents of the heavily improved HTML version I made from Adobe's own documentation. To add insult to injury he wrapped it up in heavily advertised pages.
The help text is Adobe's own, but I vastly improved upon it by adding yet even more hyperlinks, categories, and a graphic hierarchical view. An even better version than the one this ****head stole can be downloaded for free (and without any advertisements) from http://www.jongware.com/idjshelp.html. I made it better just to prove I could; so far this stinking thief didn't dare copy the latest version -- yet.

Is it possible to redeem a digital copy code without using the DVD?

I have a Rambo digital copy code but no DVD rom drive. Is there was way to use the code and just download it off iTunes or not?

From what I've read, the digital copy is on the bonus disk; it's not downloaded from the iTunes Store but rather copied from the disk.

Willy, the procdedure you describe works perfectly for AppleTV G1. In fact, I frequently play DTS music discs ripped to my iTunes library as Apple Lossless (ALAC) and synched to the ATV. What happens is that, as far as iTunes and the ATV are concerned, a conventional stereo 16/44 audio file is being played; however my reciever detects the DTS data stream, and instead of outputting static, it decodes the 5.1 channels correctly. This process parallels the way DTS discs were designed to be played back: a conventional CD player is connceted, via digital out, to a DTS-aware reciever/pre-amp and the two channels of static are recognized as 6 channels of DTS-encoded audio.
However this process will only work if the player (CD, ATV, PC, etc.) sends a "bit-perfect" 16 bit/44.1 khz data stream to the decoding device. In the case of ATV G2 and G3, as has been discussed elsewhere, the unit resmaples all audio - including 16/44 PCM (Redbook CD) - to 16/48. While this is not a big deal for conventional audio CDs, MP3s, and AAC files, it mangles the fragile DTS datastream and renders it undecodable. The resulting static that you hear is just like the static you would hear if you played a DTS CD on a non-DTS capable system.
Sadly, I'm not aware of any easy way around this. You could use a program like Foobar (and the DTS plugin) to convert your DTS CDs to 6-ch .wav or .flac file. From there you could transcode the file to AC-3 and then mux it into a video container that ATV supports. You may need add a dummy video track, for iTunes/AppleTV to be ok with the file, though I'm not sure. This may be a lot of work.
Sorry for the bad news. I wish that the iTunes/ATV ecosystem had better multi-channel audio support.

If all else fails, you can make a screen shot of the image:
With the image visible in your browser, press CMD-Shift-4 and your cursor will change to crosshairs.
Position the cross hairs at one of the corners of what you want to copy and drag to the opposite corner, then release the mouse. An copy of the image will be saved to your desktop.
You can now edit and use this image.

I'm interest about same thing. Clipboard is often only way to migrate lists between sharepoint versions and now it is almost unpossible to use.

There is an app called "No Formatting" in the App Store. It is simple and works perfectly - it strips formatting from paste (Ctr-V). I needed it for Word and Excel, which don't have keyboard shortcuts for this. It can be toggled on and off from the Menu Bar.

I've got 4,389 photos in my iphoto library on my new imac. Most of them are personal but a few maybe 500 are from my work. I need to get the personal photos safely out of this iphoto library permanently and onto my old (now personal) computer.
How can I do that without using the cloud or photostream? I've tried using these things in the past and I simpl can't understand them. I got into an awful mess with them and completely confused. I would prefer to just put the photos I want to transfer onto a USB stick or external hard drive and transfer them that way. The problem is I can't understand how to do that!!! I've no problem transferring other files in this manner I just can't figure out how to do it in iphoto.
I'd really appreciate it if someone could explain this in a simple way to me.

Ive noticed the clipboard features in java but from some of the examples ive been seeing it doesnt seem to be that versatile
examples ive seen are such things like copy text from one text box to another using the clipboard but it only does this by doing a getText() on the textbox and putting that in the clipboard then doing a setText() on the other textbox from the clipboard
but what i want to be able to do is any selected text when copy is clicked, it is added to the clip board (whether the selectted text is in a text box or in a textpane) then paste that text to where ever the cursor is (be it in a text box or cursor)
is there a simple way of doing this or do i have to basically capture every focus event on the text boxes and textpane and then let the clipboard know i am copying and pasting from the currently focused field?

Copy ImageField Images to the clipboard

We've created ImageFields in a pdf to for people to send into us.
However we would like to be able to take those images and copy and paste them into other things. emails for example.
right now the ImageField only lets you click it to add an image. We can't select or right click that image to copy it to the clipboard.
is there a way to setup a button or something that via javascript or some other way allow us to copy that image to the clipboard?

to copy an image to the clipboard you can use the snapshopt tool from Acrobats or Readers Edit menu.
There is no other way I'm afraid.

How to migrate Master Data (Rule set etc.) from GRC 5.3 to 10.1 without using the "Migration Tool"

We are currently on GRC 5.3 SP 18 (Java ONLY) and migrating to GRC 10.1. I referred the Migration Guide which outlines that GRC 5.3 needs to be upgraded to SP 20 as pre-requisite for using the "Migration Tool" . Our BASIS team is reluctant to perform this upgrade from SP 18 to SP 20.
Having said thus, I'm exploring options of migrating data from 5.3 to 10.1 without using the "Migration Tool:.
Rule set Migration:
I'm in the process of preparing the 9 different files (listed below) and later utilize the "Upload Rule" option for migrating the Rule set data from 5.3 to 10.1.
While I'm able to gather data for most of the files I'm not sure how can I obtain the data pertaining to the two files (Function Actions and Function Permissions) underlined and highlighted in Red below.

I have done this successfully before. Because you are having issues, I would NOT recommend using the migration tool to move the ruleset. Instead:
1. Download the ruleset files from 5.3
2. The 5.3 tcode-permission file, which defines which tcode permissions from SU24 need to be checked during risk analysis, needs to be split into the two files you mention above in red.
FUNCTION_ACTION : this file represents S_TCODE objects and TCD fields mapped to each function (Function to Tcode relationship). In the 5.3 file, you will filter on object S_TCODE and field TCD, and you will get a complete list that now represents "FUNCTION_ACTION". BUT instead of having all the jumbled permission info, you will just have 3 columns: Function - Tcode - Status.
3. The remaining permissions that are left over, after taking out the S_TCODE -TCD items, represent the "FUNCTION_PERMISSION" file in GRC 10.
4. Manually create the excel spreadsheets for each file.
5. Copy and past each sheet to a unique .txt file.
6. Upload the ruleset manually through SPRO-->GRC-->Access Control-->Access Risk Analysis-->SoD Rules-->Upload SoD Rules.
7. Select each file and then upload to the correct Logical Group.
This is a huge pain, but it works. Let me know how this goes and if you need any assistance.

I use the copy and paste function from the clipboard frequently to allow access to certain pages. It worked fine until I updated Firefox to latest 29.0 version. It no longer works! I followed the usual instructions to create a user.js file and put it in the profile directory. But the problem is still there. Need help with this problem.
