I want to copy trading partner field from Vendor line item to other line items like Asset and Tax in T.code - F-90
Client want to use Transaction type - 100
Is it feasible?

I am in dilemaaa whether i need to take a EDI x12 over internet and EDI x12 over genric exchange.I think this is something which you should discuss with your TP and as per the availability and requirement a decision should be made.
If you are using FTP protocol in internal delivery channel, then you need to follow the file naming convention to provide B2B required information to identify the TP and transaction. For this please refer -

what is the use of Trading Partner field in control view of Vendor Master.
In which business scenario it is used.

I searched the Forum and found many threads on this topic in ERP financial.
This field is connected to FI.

Trading Partner in Gain and Loss from valuation

Dear Friends,
My issue is with the valuation posted for account maintained on line item basis only (Not open item managment). Since the account is maintained on line item basis, only balance is valuated each month thru f.05.
The problem is that when account posted with Loss or Gain each month on valuation, the document will not have a Trading partner assigned which causes my inter-company elimination issue.
How to get Trading partner assigned to document posted on valuation (F.05) I have tried sustitution rule and OB32 to make Trading Partner as editable but SAP does not allow both.

My problem is with the autmated posting result from forex gain or loss when carrying F.05. These documents autmatically created but donot update the Trading Partner. I can not manually input them even if enter Trading Partner is option in OBA7 is checked.

Create multiple line item from one line item in BizTalk mapping

Hi,
In one of our new requirement we need to create 3 line items for every line item we are receiving with same value but in the below format.
Sample Input:

You have to create map with a structure similar to the below shown image:
Here destination schema is a flat file schema with comma-delimited fields.
If you look into the destination schema, it look similar to your input schema, but there is just one “Desc” field instead of “Desc1”, “Desc2”, “Desc3” in your source schema. In destination, the
record has to repeat with same values for rest of the fields. And for “Desc” in destination schema will have corresponding index value of “Desc1” or “Desc2” or “Desc3” from source. i.e. first node of destination will have value of “Desc1” from source to “Desc”
field in destination, second node of destination will have value of “Desc2” from source to “Desc” field in destination and third node of destination will have value of “Desc3” from source to “Desc” field in destination.

You carry on creating query in SQ01. When you maintain the selection screen for the report then exclude GR/IR Clearing account by going into multiple selection and save the layout so it will not bring GR/IR Open item.

Segregate internal ordered items from purch. order items for the i-pro user

We want to know if there are any Oracle i-Procurement implementations that have segregated the internally ordered items via an Order Management sales order from items ordered on a PO (purchase order). We have considered three possible paths to purse. 1) Table of Contents: this seems to not work because you can only connect a Group at the Category level not item level, 2) Multiple responsibilities one for Inventory and one for drop ship: This is not acceptable to the user. 3) Requisition Template.
We attempted to implement this by creating two i-Pro stores named Main and Inventory Only. Our design defined that these stores be associated with a catalog for each group of item. We interpreted that the "Include items without suppliers in this catalog" flag in the Catalog definition would select those items that are stockable. However, the logic behind this flag does not consider the item attributes/Sourcing Rules set at the ORG level. Our company has two Orgs named INV for inventory and DEV for our service organization. For stockable items the items are coded Inventory Sourced in the DEV item master and the sourcing assigment is linked to a sourcing rule which is internal (that is, get from INV org). The items are coded Supplier Sourced in the INV item master and the sourcing rule is a Blanket. Thus, our inventory items were not included in the the catalog even though they were sourced internally at the DEV org because of the blanket sourcing rule in the INV org.

Which version of SBO are you using 2005 or 2007?
I don't think Serial numbers can help in this scenario. There is no hard allocation or blocking possible using Serial numbers.
This is the Work around I am thinking about.
Set the items to be Batch Managed - On Every Transaction
When performing Goods Receipt, enter the Sales Order Number as the Batch Number
When creating the delivery, using SBO_SP_TransactionNotification we can easily check the Batch of the Item being selected and verify it with the BaseRef of Delivery lines to match with Sales Order number.
If the numbers don't match we can warn user with message, "The items batch reserved for Sales Order xyz"
Even if you make a mistake when entering the batch number same as Sales Order number when doing a goods receipt. It can still be traced and blocked during delivery.
Hint: The Batch table records the Goods Receipt transaction along with the BaseDocument number, Base Ref, etc

Hi there,
We have migrated from lotus notes to sharepoint. We have converted the lotus notes forms to sharepoint forms. Basically the list items are pages and there are links of other pages in a page.
My problem is I want to open the other pages in the same tab or window and not in a separate window.(currently the links open in a separate window which is not the requirement.)
In terms of sharepoint I would say,
I have references(links) to other list items of the list in a single list item. I want to open the other list items in the same window (tab).
How can we achieve this?? If possible without much codes??

Reduce Newsfeed "Site Feed" items from displaying 20 items

I have been trying to get an answer on this for quite some time now and still have not come across any viable solutions. If there is anyone out there that could help, it would be greatly appreciated!
The default size of the Newsfeed "Site Feed Web part" is to display 20 items. Unfortunately we choose to use this solution on the front page of our intranet site which is starting to be a problem because the web part takes up so much
space from the user's posting.
We need to be able to change the default from 20 to maybe 5 or possibly figure out a way to only view / hide the most recent 5 posts.

I dont thing you can do this OOTB, here is workaround.
you can try exporting the web part, modifying the dwp file by adding the <MaxItemsToDisplay> element
and set it to 5. You can then import this dwp file and try using that.

This happened after some other troubles made me run Applejack to try for system recovery. .... This is a Graphite G4 400 mhz PCI with OS 10.4.11, ..... IT is my back-up machine to stay online while I sort out what I did to my MAIN Machine. .... I did Applejack, the "/sbin/fsck/ -fy", in AUTO, for (deep cleaning) and w/ memory test. Like the title question asks, "ROM - NDRV for ATV RAGE 128y is to OLD - Oxb 3383430", what does this mean ?? ... and how go I change it to be "in date" / "up to date" ?? ....... Is it possible for a dummy like me to do ?? ....... this has to do with the online video play back quality (I think) as news vid's, youtube etc., play a little bit "choppy", audio is good. .... Some or all of the "choppy" video maybe the CPU speed and not having enough speed to handle online video's (dvd's play fine in the machine). This is not a critical thing as it is a back-up machine, if it's easy to fix I would do it, otherwise this is a philisophical question, like can it be up-dated ?, is it possible ?

Nothing will fix the CPU speed issue, and PCI is simply slower than AGP, with few options for upgrade, and no modern options for performance.

Trading partner updation in the accounting document

Dear All,
We have updated the trading partner in the vendor master. While MIRO I find the same is getting updated in the vendot line items but it is not getting updated in the other line itmes of the accounting document.
Please suggest hot to populate the trading partner field in the other line items of the accounting documents.

1. I have updated the trading partner in the vendor master.
2. While MIRO Trading partner is getting updated in the vendor line items -- OK
3. Trading partner is not gettingupdatedin the other line itmes such as GR/IR, TAX accounts line items. - Requirement is that the trading partner shuold get updated for all the line items in the accounting document.

Hi Sunil,
Trading partner can be inherited or derived from master or can be entered manually in transactions.
Updation of trading partner is being controlled through relevant document type configuration in SAP
Its being controlled through two main check boxes in document type configuration (transaction code-OBA7) namely, "Inter-company postings" and "Enter Trading partner" check boxes
a) If "Inter-company postings" check box is set and "Enter Trading partner" is not set
Functionality: Trading partner is derived from master data and no manual entry is possible in line item / transactions. Here trading partner must not be unique in a document.
b) If "Inter-company postings" check box is not set and "Enter Trading partner" is set
Functionality: Trading partner can be manually entered in line item / transaction by choosing Extras menu button -> Trading partner which will be applicable for all the line items in a document. Here trading partner is unique in the document.
c) If both "Inter-company postings" and "Enter Trading partner" check boxes are set
Functionality: Trading partners are derived from master data and can also be entered manually in the line item / transaction in the "More Data" screen. Here trading partner must not be unique in a document.
d) If both "Inter-company postings" and "Enter Trading partner" check boxes are not set
Functionality: Trading partner can be manually entered in a line item / transaction by choosing Extras menu button -> Trading partner which will be applicable for all the line items in a document. Here trading partner is unique in the document.
In short, both options (b) and (d) represents the same functionality and it depends on each of the document type configuration with the business process involved.

Agreement lookup failed as From trading partner cannot be identified

Hi,
I am working on custom document over HTTPS.
I configured B2B to send custom document over Generic Exchange(transport - HTTPS).
I enqueue the XML document with AQ header to IP_OUT_QUEUE. B2B is able to read the data from IP_OUT_QUEUE and invokes the client Webapplication.
I changed the IP_OUT_QUEUE to custom AQ. B2B is able to read data from custom AQ, but B2B throws "Trading partner agreement lookup failed as From trading partner cannot be identified"
