Copying Aironet IOS configuration

I set up one AP-1041 that runs standalone IOS. No controller. I have three more that I want to copy the setup configuration over to. I have the right document, but need someone to help tell me which commands will get my set configuration from AP one FTP'd to my computer and how to copy that configuration back to another AP of the same model. This way I will only need to tweak a couple settings on the additional AP's instead of starting from scratch.

To copy the configuration from AP to PC you could run below command. My preference would be to use tftp rather than tftp.
copy system:running-config tftp://x.x.x.x/ap.txt or copy running-config tftp://x.x.x.x/ap.txt
(where x.x.x.x is the ip address of tftp server and ap.txt is configuration file name)
Top copy from PC to AP you could use below command.
copy tftp://x.x.x.x/AP.txt startup-config (where x.x.x.x is the ip address of tftp server and ap.txt is configuration file name)
Ensure that you are able to ping the tftp ip address from the AP before trying the copy procedure.

Homogeneous System Copy - Remaining ALE Configuration

We made a system copy of an R/3 HR productive system to a new server for testing purpose. The system copy was made with a backup / restore procedure. Now, the new server in online and is working fine. The problem starts when we want to make the accounting payroll. This process needs financial data from R/3 Finance system via ALE to make the accounting. So we decided to connect this new test system with our R/3 Finance QAS system, via ALE, to make possible the extraction of the data needed.
When running the accounting payroll process, we get the following error: "RFC Destination is not maintained for object BUS6004 and method check" and the accounting is canceled. We noticed that the system is trying to use a RFC which its destination is R/3 HR Productive system. Obviously, we deleted the RFC connection pointing to the real productive system to prevent any damages. Also, we checked the ALE configuration and everything is OK (Transactions: BD97, WE20, WE21). But, when we checked the consistency of the ALE configuration, in transaction BDM5, we noticed that there is another ALE configuration defined, which is pointing to the R/3 HR Productive system. It seems that the system copy brings all the definitions of the ALE configurations that were defined in the original R/3 HR productive system. However, this new system is using these settings for connecting via ALE. There is a way to delete or disable these old settings defined in this new system? When making a system copy, there is a way to avoid copying the ALE configurations defined in the source system?

You have some options here ie after system copy
- Before starting the background process (ie #rdisp/wp_no_btc)
- Start SAP system, execute sm59 and append to all the <destination/target> with <destinaion/target>_no connect for each RFC. This way the connections won't happen
- Save
- Stop SAP
- remove # frm rdisp/wp_no_btc
- Restart SAP
whenever you want to try a connection then will remove the _NOCONNECT and it connect
or
you have a table RFCDES, which can be disabled (i haven't tried this).

Copy/Paste Audio Configuration doesn't work for me. What am I doing wrong?

I've read all the other threads on this topic. Some say you have to save before you copy, etc., but nothing works for me. I open up a Logic song that has various Audio tracks, Aux tracks, and VI tracks. I open the Mixer and select Copy Audio Configuration. I close the project file, open up a new blank file, open the Mixer and hit Paste Audio Configuration. The only thing that happens is a single empty track gets pasted, that's it. This couldn't be broken in 8.01 AND 8.02, could it? Tell me I'm doing something wrong, please.

if you want to copy the actual channel strips, you need to go to the Environment window, select them, press copy, and paste them into the Environment window of the other song.
Audio configuration doesn't equal channel strips, but refers to how these channel stripes are configured (eg. which plugins they use).
Or you could create the audio objects (channel strips) you need to use in the new song manually, and then copy the audio configuration, because then that copy/paste process would have some objects to paste the configuration into.
You could probably even create the audio objects after you have pasted over the configuration, but I haven't checked if this works.

Field disappears on copying of the configuration

Hi Experts,
in CRM 7.0 I have created a field via AET. I've added the field to the custom-configuration and am able to use it.
So now, when I copy this custom configuration - the generated field disappears, even though it is shown as available in the configuration, it is not available in the copied configuration view anymore. When I get back to the custom "default" configuration, to which this field was added at first - it is back in the view.
Any suggestions?

Download fresh copy of ios

How can i download a fresh copy of the latest iOS?! I read on some of the forums that some people had corrupt versions and it was causing a lot of app crashes and springboard crashes on the 4S. I am currently having this problem and attempting to resolve it. Please help?!

IOS Configuration Profile Reference outdated

Hi,
I'm currently writing a technical draft iPhone policy for our enterprise. The iPhone configuration utility is a nice tool to create such a policy but it is not really usable for documentation of the different directives. Therefore I was looking for another documentation. The «iOS Configuration Profile Reference» seems to be a nice document, since it describes every single directive.
Unfortunately I had to find out, that there are much more parameters in the current iPhone configuration Utility 3.3 (274) then specified in the iOS Configuration Profile Reference - even it's version is dated to 2011-03-08.
Does anybody know if there is a more current Version of this document, or another paper which specifies all possible parameters?

What exactly are the prerequisites to create this group?

Need quick TIP: remove "Copy access and configuration settings" from added package

I added a modified package in APPVMAN with the option "Copy access and configuration settings".
Package is unpublished. But shows AD groups as a current package because I used the option "Copy access and configuration settings"
QUESTION:
How to Remove (and then add) the option "Copy access and configuration settings" from added package.
Cannot find it.

sorry for the panic :)
before publishing an updated package to existing groups of initial package I hit the option
"Copy access and configuration settings".
But first I wanted to test it for TEST group. Didn't think that AD settings will be applied (do it first time).
Just to confirm:
1. I will remove current groups from updated(unpublished package)
2. Will add Test group and test the package.
3 In case it is OK I can then add removed(needed) groups.
I want to be sure that after removing and adding needed groups all other settings will be intact.

Stuck on waiting for items to copy in ios 8.0.2

I purchasing iPhone 6 and my phone has been stuck on waiting for items to copy in iOS 8.0.2 for TWO days! I had previously used folders from my computer to sync with my phone. When that didn't work I moved all my photos to iPhoto and it still will not sync photos from the iCloud PhotoStream (even though that is in iPhoto) or any of the folders/events that I chose to synce from iPhoto. Very frustrating after all the hype and waiting for this fantastic phone. Yes, I have tried restoring from backup also. If I do it again, I will lose the two days since. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated!

Having the same issue. The only thing that has helped is backing it up to my computer then restoring, which I've done 4 times since I got the phone 4 days ago. it still messes up when I try to sync photos to the phone. It gets stuck syncing data, waiting for items to copy. Happens only on my iPhone 6. My iPhone 5s had the problem but after the last update it stopped.

I have a 32GB iPhone 5s on AT&T I recently installed a fresh copy of iOS 7.0.2 and now Siri does not sound like the new Siri she has the robotic voice again. I have went to Settings>General>Accessibility>Voice Over(Which is off)>Languages & Dialects>Default Dialect(Set to U.S. English) and turned enhanced voice on. I watched it download the enhanced voice. Still the same thing. I have powered off the phone and powered it back on. Siri still sounds like the siri of old. I have performed a hard reboot. Siri still sounds the same. When I first got the phone she sounded as advertised. Is there anything else I should try?

If you change either of these, the new enhanced-quality voice will download when you connect your device to power and a Wi-Fi network.

When using the Copy/Paste Audio Configuration function of the mixer in Logic Pro 8.0.2 NONE of the plugin parameters are pasted into the new project... The plugins themselves are copied but NOT the settings....

No backup copy after iOS 5 upgrade

just upgraded to iOS5, and assured iTunes was making a backup copy. Now I don't find the backup to restore my iOS4 data?? where did it go??
BTW it is not under preferences>devices..

After I assured Tunes was making a backup copy, I didn't look again (because it takes some time), when I looked progress again I saw iTunes wasinstalling iOS 5.. so i figured the backup process was ok! but I discovered afterwards there was no new backup (of iOS 4 data). Fortunatelly I imported all pics and movies before, but still lost a lot of address, app-configuration and even in app features updates (I bought before)..
BTW I even installed the latest iTunes 10.5 because iTunes 10.4 was failing to update with update server error.
Where should the iPhone backup be stored?

Both errors are certificate related. Is there anything special about your configuration such as special ACLs on the certificate store or FIPS compliance mode (see
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/811833) being enabled?
Nothing special with certificates; I've used the basic stuff for intranet management of clients.
The only related thing I can think of that may have affected this, is that I discovered earlier today that my MP installation got hosed (error 500) due to a broken client install on the site server itself. I uninstalled the client manually and the server
(as indicated by the component status views) appears to have repaired the MP install. Perhaps it didn't repair it completely? Would a site reset do me any good?
