Copying marketing document from SO to DR

Good day!..
We're encountering issue when copying SO document to DR. Sometimes the discount defined in the discount column located below the Total before discount in SO does not appear in target document (DR) when the copy to/from procedure has been performed.
Please help cuz number of wrong prices and/or discount has been increasing..

Thanks sir, but I still can't get the point. Our problem is when we copy the document from Sales order to delivery, the discount column which can be found below the 'total before discount' of the SO document has an amount, let say 2% and I expect that if I use the copy to Delivery dcument functionality, the same information must appear to the target document. The problem is after it was copied to DR, the discount has been lost.

Remove or Hiding Marketing Documents from SAP Business One.

Hi Everyone,
Is there any way by which a marketing document in SAP Business One can be deleted or be hidden. For example in a Sales A/R module the the client does not want to use or also view the AR downpayment request or AR down payment invoice as it is not required for his business. What is the way to hide or remove it from the user point also during authorization.
I am also seeing that when in the user autorization I am giving full authorization for e.g in Purchase A/P Module - Purchase Order and Good Reciept PO only and when logging in by that assigned user I am only seeing the Purchase Order and Good Reciept PO that's absolutely fine but when I am going in Form Settings and and selecting visible for all the modules then all the marketing documents are coming back which should not come. Is there any way to block the form settings in this moment and when using the tab apply authorization in forms settings the defined authorized documents are comming but if one again clicks on form settings and make all the marketing document visible then again all the marketing documents are comming back which I don't want.
Please let me know your valuable comments in this regard.

Pages ’09 v4.3 and Pages v5.2.2 are entirely different document architectures. Consequently, copying and pasting a table from Pages ’09 circumvents the customary translation process that would occur if you opened that Pages ’09 document in Pages v5.
Make a backup copy of the Pages ’09 document that has the table in it, and then open this document in Pages v5.2.2. The table is translated into Pages v5 document format and displayed correctly. You can even select this Pages v5.2.2 table, and then copy/paste it into another Pages v5.2.2 document with accurate results.

Copy attached documents from network activity to purchase order

Has anyone ever tried copying attachments (e.g. MS Word documents) from an external activity in the project to the purchase requisition and purchase orders that are created from it?
Our client would like to attach detailed specs for the purchasing in the Project Builder. The specs will then be used by Purchasing when they request offers from vendors, and finally attach it to the PO when it is created.
Any ideas how this can be solved? Any best practices or recommendations?
We're working on 4.6C and don't use EBP.

Hi Pim,
If the same document should be used for more than 1 object, it is better to my opnion to use a link and not an attachement (in that way you are sure to have the same information, it is a golden rule never to have the same info twice). You have to think about where to put your documents. You could use for instance a file server. Other solutions supported by SAP are possible.
You could make use of an ABAP development to create the same link to the purchase requisition as to the activity (based on a user exit or use a workflow to trigger the creation of the link).

Why when i copy paste documents from download to another folder,then i delete them from the downloads ,it will be erased at all?

I dl a file it goes to my doenload folder,then i copy it to another folder for example document,then when i delete it from download it will erase at all? why?
is it ok to have the file in both downloads and document? it will not be more size?

If you copy it to another folder, e.g., Documents, and you can see it in the Downloads folder then you now have two copies of the file. If you delete one copy, the other stays intact. If you keep both, there is no harm, although the amount of disk space used is twice as big as when you only keep one copy.

Hi Sunil,
You are getting error in the Sales Order is because of Master Data.
Sales Documents will flow from CRM to R/3 when master data is consistent in R/3 & CRM side.
Please maintain the master data in R/3 side & download into CRM Side.
For Customer use adpater object CUSTOMER_MAIN & for Material object is "Material"

How to copy a document from one CM Repository to another CM Repository?

I am trying to build a UI Command that similiar to the standard "Delete" UICommand, but the only thing is before the document get deleted in the current repository (say Default - it is a CM Repository with fsdb mode), it create a copy in another archive repository (say Default_Archieve - is is a it is a CM Repository with fsdb mode).
Here is some portion of my UICommand class (it is a modification of the standard "delete" UICommand)

If I change the target uri to be copied to the location in the same repository (default), this command work fine, it is just when it is copied cross repository, this cod doesn't work.

I try to do it with subfolder path as following:

But still it does not take it.
If I change it to some location in the same repository, like the following:

So, I am pretty sure that something to do with the cross repostory copy.
I am trying to use the standard API to copy the resource, instead of using the com.sapportals.wcm.command.CopyResourceCommand.
Do you think you can do some testing on cross repository testing, and see how it will look for you.

Urgent help - to copy rules document

Hello All,
we have developed our own program to copy certain rules to new rules with few changes in the operations for the new rules. This is all working fine.
Now we would like to copy the documenation also from old rules to a new rules, how do I go about it.
Is thier any FM/table which we can use to copy the document from a rule to a new rules we have created, it should work similar to copy function in PE02 but we have handle this in ABAP as we already have new rules in place.

An internet search gave a support.apple.com link to "Pages for iOS (iPad). Step 1. was "Open the document . . . . then tap [spanner/wrench icon]. I did that. Step 2. is "Tap "Share and Print . . . ". There is no such option in the menu which appears after Step 1.

If you want to copy the document from your computer to the iPad Mini, while you are in the thumbnail view of Pages on the iPad, tap the + sign to create new document (in the upper left corner) and then select "Copy from iTunes". Choose the document from the resulting window that pops up.
The information that you read is for sending a document from the iPad to your computer. It is old information from an earlier version of Pages anyway. In the latest version of Pages, you tap the Share icon in the upper right corner of the open document and select "Send a Copy".

Issue copying account assignment from SO to PR

I have one issue : The SO has Internal order and Profit center information. When a PR is created for the SO it only copies PC but not IO for some SO types.
Our client uses a Z transaction which releases the requirement + automatically updates the PR information in SO schedule lines. I feel that the requirements release is done using the standard user exit but updation of PR information in sales order is developed in the program.
Is there any standard customization at SO type or some other place where we define which account assignments get copied from SO to PR ?

I understand you are noticing horizontal lines when you make copies and scans, and I hope to help you.
Here are some steps I suggest that you try:
Reset the printer:
Press the Power button to turn on the product.
With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.
Tip: Make sure the printer is plugged in directly to the wall outlet, avoiding power bars and surge protectors. This ensures the printer is receiving full power.

Test a copy and test a scan now. If they still have lines through them, please contact us directly to inquire about your printer replacement options as you would need a new unit at this point.

Copying OmniOutliner license from Tiger?

My MacBook (purchased this past summer) came with a license for OmniOutliner. When I clean-installed Leopard, I had to install OmniOutliner from a download. ONw it asks for the license. Any ideas where I'd look (on Tiger) to find it?

It would be in your user library somewhere....perhaps the Application Support folder, or the Preferences folder. Try copying any documents from these folders that have to do with OmniOutliner to their respective locations on the Leopard install, and see if that helps anything.

If I understand correctly, the scenario is that copy the value of UDF from marketing document to the UDF its target JE from when the marketing document is created.
if so, just listen to FormDataAdd Event for the marketing document, copy the value of udf when document is created.
