Could not create 'Note'  through Java

Hi All,
I've tried to execute following piece of code.
NoteData noteData = new NoteData();
               noteData.setOperation("insert");
noteData.setCreatedByIntegrationId("validContactID");
               noteData.setSubject("Test subject");
               noteData.setNote("Test Note");
               ListOfNoteData listOfNoteData = new ListOfNoteData();
               listOfNoteData.setNote(new NoteData[]{noteData});
               NoteStub stub = getNoteStub(someParam);
               NoteInsert_Input input = new NoteInsert_Input();
// Also tried setting echo as 'Off'
               input.setListOfNote(listOfNoteData);
               NoteInsert_Output output = stub.noteInsert(input);
               NoteData resultData = output.getListOfNote().getNote()[0];
There was no exception, I could see the ID of the returned NoteData object, but when I open the application. I could not see the same in the UI of provided Contact ID.
I tried to create task using ActivityData, it was a success, but no idea, why Note was failing.
Details : Using Axis2, WebServices 2.0, NoteStub was generated from note.wsdl.
Please help.

This time, I generated stubs persisting Note as child object for Contact (did not remove Note related elements from Contact WSDL file), and I could perform the task successfully.
But, I'd be great if anyone could clarify why I could not add a Note using NoteStub to Contact/Account.
NoteStub - was created from note.wsdl file of the version 2.0 with Axis2.

    My java Home ,classpath , and path are all set as I say it was earliar woking fine.
    Please Help.

    I know this is a relatively old post, but some people can stumble on this page when doing a search for this problem.
    Anyway, I ran into this on my PC after I installed Sybase which had an older jre.
    Solution:
    1. Run regedit
    2. Look for Java Runtime Environment
    You may have to do multiple searches. Eventually you'll find one with the version number.
    3. Modify the value and change it to the correct version number. (in your case, you would have changed it from 1.4 to 1.6).
    This is much quicker than reinstalling Java every time installing something that uses an older version of Java hoses up the registry value.

    Consider going to a Windows forum
    (or better yet, to Microsoft's web site or to a local book store)
    and learning about Vista's "User Account Control".
    At least do a Google search on it.

    Hi,
    After uninstalling and reinstalling BusinessObjects Edge 3.1, I can no longer see Java tab on Apache Tomcat 5.5.20 Properties in Central Configuration Manager (CCM). I can only see 2 tabs namely Properties and Dependency. Therefore, I could not start my Tomcat because I could not change Java maximum memory pool from 1024 to 768 in the Java tab.

  • Could not find java.exe

    I've installed the jdk 1.4.2 with netbeans, but as i try to execute netbeans i received an error message saying "could not find java.exe"
    What do i need to do to fix this error? thanks

    Okay, I just moved to a Mac, which automatically has the 1.4.2 jdk installed. So I downloaded 5.0 and NetBeans 4.1. I set the platform for a certain project (I wish I could change the default, but I don't think it will let me) to 1.5.0 but still get an error when I try to use generics and the like. What am I doing wrong?

    First, a question: You are showing a prompt of a dollar sign, which is not the default Windows prompt. Please explain - are you using a shell program of some sort, or ?
    Try this:
    Verify that your Test.java source file exists and is correctly named, with the extension of "java". Change the current directory to that directory. Compile using the full path to the javac.exe file - it appears that the command should be:
    C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_01\bin\javac Test.javaIf that compiles, then run the program like this, from the same directory - include the period after classpath and the surrounding spaces:
    C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_01\bin\java -classpath . TestIf these commands work, either the command shell or the Windows path environment variable have a problem.
    The path variable in your original post and reply #2 are both wrong. The only Java entry that belongs in the path variable is the path to the javac.exe file, which appears to be the default:
    C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_01\bin
    Also, clean up your classpath, none of the bold entries should be there:
    .;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_01\bin;C:\javamyprograms\Privacy-PolicyStudy;C:\javamyprograms;C:\jdk1.5.0\bin;C:\jdk1.5.0\Myprograms;C:\aima;C:\Downloads\junit3.8.1\junit 3.8.1\junit.jar

  • Could not find .java and .class files...

    I am working on Windows Vista operating system.
    I am able to access the .java which I created and also .class files from the command prompt.
    But I am not able to find those files in the bin folder in Windows Explorer.
    I want to delete some .java and .class files. When I use the delete command on the command prompt , I am getting ---- could not find the file.
    Can anyone help me...

    Hey everyone,
    I found the answer!
    If the command prompt application is run as administrator(since it is windows vista), the created .java files as well as .class files will be stored and can be seen in the bin folder.
    However, I could not locate the .java files (and also corresponding .class files) which I created previously.

  • How to check any URL working or not through Java Code

    Hi,
    Is there any way by which i can check whether any particular URL is working or not using JAVA..
    Thanks in advance......
    AJ09

    Especially for POSTs, I would use HTTPClient: [http://hc.apache.org/httpclient-3.x/]
    For simple GETs, you could just create the URL and then see if openStream works.

    Hi,
    I have found the solution for this thread and have posted a blog on how to create data sources. Please find the link below

  • I am using Mandriva Linux now and I have installed Firefox 6 but I could not install Java plugin with it. Can anyone please help me how to install it?

    I am using Mandriva Linux now.
    But I am using Firefox 3.6.8, but I cannot install java plugin in it.
    Can anyone please help me how to install it?

    The plugins folder in the Firefox installation folder doesn't exist by default. There is no default plugin in Firefox 4, so that folder would be empty and in thus not included. If you want to use that location then you need to create a plugins folder.
    Did you try /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins ?

  • Link Error: could not initialize java VM

    When I try to run a project I get this error, I have downloaded and installed the lastest version of jre and sdk. It still will not work thought...how can I fix this (I am running windows xp)

    ok..well i can compile in dos now but when i try to
    run the class file, it says "Exception in thread
    "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
    C:<path>studPoker/class" (it doesnt say <path>, i just
    have a really long file path. this program worked
    fine when i ran it in school, and i tried other
    programs, i get the same error.The error tells you the problem...
    ....C:<path>studPoker/class
    Java does not run files it runs classes. There is a difference. You are probably doing this at the command line....
    java c:\mydir\studPoker.class
    You should be doing this....
    java studPoker
    You need to be in the directory where the class file is.

  • Error: Could not load Java Virtual Machine

    The above error is obtained when I try to run a shortcut placed on Internet link...
    *Strange thing is that, if logged into the machine locally and on launch of the shortcut no error is obtained. \
    *But if Remote access(mstsc) is taken for the same machine, on launch of the shortcut, the above mentioned error is popped up.
    If anyone knows the reason, please prompt me the same.

    Hi
    Glad that you're up and running.
    I haven't tried changing on the fly. I think it's fairly unlikely that it would just work, because you need to create all the database tables (at a miniumum), so you would need to re-run at least part of the config tool. You'd also need to install the correct jdbc drivers, modify the DataSource file, etc, etc.
    My suggestion would be to bite the bullet and re-install - I think you might find it easier in the long run.
