Couldn't create Trading partner

Hi
I am creating Trading Partner, but not able to proceed further.It was working fine.Suddenly it is not working.
1. Clicked on Trading Partner tab, clicked on create.
2. Gave the name and clicked next, then again next(Idenitication section)
3. Selected EDI X12 over Generic Exchange Protocol, then nothing is displyed. blank page is displayed.
I don't want to reinstall B2b,
Could you please tell me what is the problem.
Or Could you please tell me to get the logs for the operation we do while configuring in Oracle B2B so that I can know what is happening.
I have given debug level as DEBUG for
oracle.tip.DiagnosticLevel = DEBUG
b2b.oracle.tip.DiagnosticLevel = DEBUG
b2b.oracle.tip.DiagnosticLevel.UI = DEBUG
ui.oracle.tip.DiagnosticLevel = DEBUG
ui.oracle.tip.DiagnosticLevel.UI = DEBUG
But still I am not gettign any logs for this particular operation.
Thanks,
Praveena

    Hi ,
    In order to identify Inter Company transactions Trading partner field is used. You need to define all the Group Companies as company in SAP and all the defined Companies will be available for selection in Trading partner field.
    The same can be done via
    SAP IMG > Enterprise Structure > Definition > Financial Accounting > Define Company
    Hope it helps

    We have exported our metadata and looked at the doc_EDI_X12.xml file and ALL of these referenced documents exist in that file and can be seen by going to Administration --> Document and under the Document Protocols navigation --> EDI_X12 --> 5010 --> 810 --> 810Def (as an example).
    If we strip out all of the SupportedDocumentDefiinition lines then the ant script will build an import file with just the trading partners and Identifications.
    What are we doing incorrectly or what is not working properly to get the ant script to build the import zip file??
    Thanks for any assistance,
    Ken

    Does that mean we have to create all of the document type definitions in the selfservice file?
    We have created (installed) all of the document types by installing them from the B2B Administration --> Document page.
    The definitions in the Trading Partner xml file exactly match the definitions of the installed documents.
    In the selfservice.xsd the <element> SelfService shows the profile:DocumentProtocols as minOccurs as 0 :
         <element name="SelfService">
              <complexType>
                   <sequence>
                        <element minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="1"
                             ref="profile:DocumentProtocols" />
                        <element minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="1"
                             ref="profile:TradingPartners" />
                        <element minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="1"
                             ref="profile:Agreements" />
                   </sequence>
                   <attribute name="version" type="profile:non-empty-string"
                        use="optional" />
              </complexType>
         </element>
    so we thought that since the documents had already been defined (created/installed) to B2B they would not have to be redefined in the selfservice xml.
    If we have to define all of the document types in the selfservice xml file that we are using for the trading partners what are the minimum values that we need to include?
    Could we use minimal definitions such as this:
    <DocumentProtocols>
    <DocumentProtocol name="EDI_X12">
    <DocumentProtocolVersion name="4010">
    <DocumentType name="850">
    <DocumentDefinition name="850def" />
    </DocumentType>
    <DocumentType name="997">
    <DocumentDefinition name="997def" />
    </DocumentType>
    </DocumentProtocolVersion>
    </DocumentProtocol>
    </DocumentProtocols>
    before the <TradingPartners> section of the seflxervice xml file?
    Thanks for your assistance!

  • Importing Trading Partner Profiles

    Greetings,
    Is there an XSD that captures our notion of Trading Partner Profile? If so, is there a back door way of importing XMLs of that type into an Oracle Integration B2B (I suspect there's no way of doing that from the console)?
    To elaborate, IHAC who is trying to migrate from an existing B2B deployment to Oracle Integration. In the process, we will need to recreate the tons of TP profiles they've already configured in Oracle B2B. The good news is that those existing TP profiles TPs can be exported into an XML format. If we support that format ourselves, that I was thinking of running their XMLs' through an XSLT to align it with our format, and then importing those XMLs automatically.
    On a related note, I'd be interested to know if we understand ebXML CPPs and CPPAs, because in general, that would be a good way of importing TP profiles and agreements, regardless of their origin.
    Regards,
    Karthick

    Hello Karthik,
    We have the notion of Self Service API which can be used to create Trading partner and Agreement in Bulk. Please refer
    http://rameshnittursblog.blogspot.com/2007/09/creating-b2b-metadata-using-self.html
    Please send a test mail to [email protected] for self service API samples.

  • Cycle of pca with trading partner

    Dear experts,
    Is it possible to create a pca cycle of some pcas with a specific trading partner?.....i couldn´t find this field on the senderside....
    what i need is to create a cycle with specific pcas and also a specifc trading partner........any tips?
    Thank oyu in advance,
    Leandro.

    Hello Leandro,
    you have to activate the field RASSC (Trading Partner) in trx. GCA6 when you use distribution and trx. GCA1 for allocations.
    In case you use classic PCA the following entry has to be specified in trx. GCA6:
    GLPCT     Distribution     Actual     RASSC     Trading Partner
    Double click on this entry.
    As you want to use the field as Sender criteria, you have to set the Control flag to X and activate Single value, Interval, Set.
    When you afterwards change the cycle or create a new cycle the field Trading Partner will be available as sender criteria.
    Cheers,
    Daniela

    what is wrong?

    Hello again,
    I have tried all different combinations with the IP addresses and host names, but to no avail. Then I changed the Trading Partner Identification Type from MLLP Id to Sending Application (one of the customer requirements is to be able to identify the Trading Partner by the combination of Sending App/Sending Facility, since they are running multiple HL7 applications on one host). However, I still see the same error in the log file - for some reason, B2B is still trying to identify the Trading Partner by the MLLP Id. Redeploying the configuration didn't help, the requested identification type is ignored.
    Please help! If needed, I can send the B2B log file, but maybe I'm missing something obvious.
    BTW, the customer has installed the patch for bug 6439217 on October 10th. The B2B version is 10.1.2.2.0.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi
    to do the trading partner corrections it is better to create new document type with "enter trading partner"

  • In XML Gateway Responsibility How to add User defined Trading Partner type.

    Hi,
    We have a requirements to add user defind Trading Partner Type apart from the default trading partner type.
    How to do this? If any one know , kinldy let me explain it
    Thanks

    I looked it up in the mean time ...
    The docs state that you only can use simple data type or java.util.list or AttributeList (which is a wrapper for any viewRow). So I guess you have to somehow flatten your complex data type or create a custom VO which holds it.

  • ACC GL Posting idoc requires trading partner

    Hello all,
    I have created a new interface, which posts an ACC_GL_POSTING Idoc to SAP.
    However this idoc runs into error as follows:
    CLIA: Line item 000 - G/L account 5590041 has to be posted with trading partner.
    I know which trading partner this account has to be posted with. However this partner is used for multiple company codes.
    The document type is ZA. When I look in OBA7 the "Inter-company postings" checkbox is not ticked. The "Enter trading partner" checkbox is ticked.
    Do you have any tips for me? Are there some specific settings I should check? What options do I have to get this Idoc processed succesfully automatically?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    - Mike

    Hello Gaurav,
    Thanks for your fast response.
    I haven't defaulted the trading partner as the trading partner can vary for the same GL Account.
    I am trying to get GL Postings processed using the ACC_GL_POSTING idoc type. However I was wondering whether there is a way to avoid entering the trading partner manually. Or how it is possible to enter the trading partner manually when trying to use idoc processing.

  • How to update trading partner (BSEG-VBUND) in tr.code FB01/FB02?

    Hi,
    I need, under some circumstances, to update value of trading partner code (field BSEG-VBUND) to all items in the FI document, created/changed with transaction FB01/FB02.
    I checked available user exits and bussiness events, but didn't found one, which could do the trick.
    In fact, in bussiness transaction event #00001430 (CHANGE DOCUMENT: Field substitution header/line - Checks prior to posting change completed) - for FB02 I have access to the internal table T_BSEG, but it seems this table is used as import parameter only and any changes didn't take efect at the end.
    Any help how can I do the trick? And this is while I'm in a transaction FB01/FB02.
    My system is 4.6c.
    Many thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Ivaylo Mutafchiev

    Svetlin, Max,
    what I did until now is:
    1) followed matrix substitution = callup point 3 (complete document) - I checked for existance of correct substitution field(s) in the GB01 table, and re-generated substitution code (as noticed in note 42615). That added my field in the list of fields for substtitution which are considered at the end of substtitution - in forms:
    FORM EXP_REC_015
            USING
              DATA_CHANGED TYPE GB002_015
            CHANGING
              DATA_OUT TYPE GB002_015.
    and
    FORM EXP_TAB_015_BSEG
             USING
               IN_ORIG STRUCTURE        BSEG
            CHANGING
               OUT_RESULT STRUCTURE     BSEG
               B_RESULT.
    both forms are in main generated program GBTAAFI0.
    My field (VBUND) is taken in account - added to the structure:
    DATA:  BEGIN OF TEMP_STRUCT,
            VBUND                          LIKE   BSEG-VBUND
            ZFBDT                          LIKE   BSEG-ZFBDT
            END OF TEMP_STRUCT.
    here ZFBDT was the other field defined in GB01 for substitution from someone esle - perhaps by default, I don't know.
    Further (in the include MF05LFB0),
    almost all of the structures which contain my changes are cleared (below is extract from the code):
    LOOP AT beltab WHERE xarch NE char_x.                   "Note 0383125
    REFRESH xbseg.
      REFRESH ybseg.
      REFRESH xbsec.
      REFRESH ybsec.
      REFRESH xbsed.
      REFRESH ybsed.
      REFRESH xbset.
      REFRESH ybset.
      REFRESH t_bsegco.
      REFRESH t_fmfich.
    Further, the logic proceed with the program SAPFF011 and form 'import_*beleg', where my changes were overwritten with original data - before substitution.
    2) Tried Max's proposal - and extended structure BSEG_SUBST with field VBUND, further populated the substitution table in the related BTE 1430 accordingly.
    Unfortunately the flow-logic proceeded further to the same form 'import_*beleg' in the program SAPFF011 and my changes dissapeared.
    I'm at dead-end - have no idea where and what is the problem...
    Checked few OSS notes - 42615, 386896, 513891, 391309, 438076. Everything which is related to my exact situation is set correctly - as far as I found :-).
    Just for tests I tried both ways (BTE and matrix substitution) with another field ==> BSEG-XREF3, and it was updated correctly - accorging to my logic.
    Thanks guys, your suggestions were right at the time and valuable, but they didn't help me to solve my problem. Perhaps there is something messed in our system - I can't be sure. What I can say for sure is that we have working BTE-s (1430 is used in our system - I just added piece of code into it), and validations are working also.
    Thanks again.
    Regards,
    Ivaylo
    P.S. If you have any suggestions, I'll be glad to hear them from you.

    BSEG-HKONT IN ZIC_ACCT

    I have created above validation at call up point 2 at line item level

    so can someone please look into it and let me know if i can writer validation for Trading parter or not?

    Hi,
    You can do as per following:
    Prerequisite:
    BKPF-BUKRS = 'company code' AND
    BSEG-HKONT = 'GL Account' OR AND BKPF-TCODE <> 'FB50'
    Check
    BSEG-VBUND <> ''

  • Trading Partner in Gain and Loss from valuation

    Dear Friends,
    My issue is with the valuation posted for account maintained on line item basis only (Not open item managment).  Since the account is maintained on line item basis, only balance is valuated each month thru f.05.
    The problem is that when account posted with Loss or Gain each month on valuation, the document will not have a Trading partner assigned which causes my inter-company elimination issue.
    How to get Trading partner assigned to document posted on valuation (F.05) I have tried sustitution rule and OB32 to make Trading Partner as editable but SAP does not allow both.
    Best Regards
    VK

    Thanks Venkata,
    My problem is with the autmated posting result from forex gain or loss when carrying F.05. These documents autmatically created but donot update the Trading Partner. I can not manually input them even if enter Trading Partner is option in OBA7 is checked.
    Best Regards

  • Trading Partner issue in ECC

    I have just activated the trading partner in ECC vendor/customer master on 1.09.08, thus all posting before this date was posted without trading partner information.
    In BCS, I plan to load balance as at 31.8.08 using flexible upload as opening balance with all the "correct" trading partner information breakdown and subsequently, period movement will be extracted from ECC.
    However, I notice that in ECC, when we make payment to open item created before 1.9.08 (document without trading partner), system will not populate the trading partner information, instead the trading partner information in original line  (i.e. blank) will be posted.
    I think this will create a problem, as I alrady uploaded the inter company balance with correct breakdown, but now period movement will be posted without trading partner, thus my balance in BCS will not be correct.
    Anyone face the same issue before? Appreciate you can share with me how to overcome this issue, thanks.
    Regards.

    This is not an uncommon problem. A few ways to address this are: correction posting in ECC, or correction posting in BCS.
    In ECC a posting to move amounts from blank/null trading partner to actual trading partner is one solution. However this is not always possible when the accounts are reconciliation accounts.
    In the case of reconciliation accounts it may be better to post the correction in BCS at posting level 10.
    Another way to address this is to change the breakdown for these accounts to require trading partner and if blank default is used. Then the correcting entries are from default trading partner to the true trading partner in BCS.
