ACC GL Posting idoc requires trading partner

Hello all,
I have created a new interface, which posts an ACC_GL_POSTING Idoc to SAP.
However this idoc runs into error as follows:
CLIA: Line item 000 - G/L account 5590041 has to be posted with trading partner.
I know which trading partner this account has to be posted with. However this partner is used for multiple company codes.
The document type is ZA. When I look in OBA7 the "Inter-company postings" checkbox is not ticked. The "Enter trading partner" checkbox is ticked.
Do you have any tips for me? Are there some specific settings I should check? What options do I have to get this Idoc processed succesfully automatically?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
- Mike

Hello Gaurav,
Thanks for your fast response.
I haven't defaulted the trading partner as the trading partner can vary for the same GL Account.
I am trying to get GL Postings processed using the ACC_GL_POSTING idoc type. However I was wondering whether there is a way to avoid entering the trading partner manually. Or how it is possible to enter the trading partner manually when trying to use idoc processing.

  • Account 12221001 requires trading partner to be filled

    Hi
The user had some old documents and he is trying to clear them.
During clearing he is facing an error "Account 12221001 requires trading partner to be filled"
Trading partner field is blank in the reconciliation account 12221001 and also customer account.
BSEG of the document which gives the problem. The reconciliation account is 12221001, the trading partner for the customer line is not filled in.
How can we fill the trading partner on this line item?
    Thanks in Advance,
    Deepthi.

    hi,
trading partner field is populated from account , customer or vendor.
if your customer wants to clear old documents, most probably, some documents are filled with trading partner field and others are not.
in this situation you cannot clear these documents.
i have faced the same iproblem. to solve it, you should determine the balance of trading partner included documents,
you should post two documents using a dummy document.
lets say the balance is 20.000 usd
you should post: (initially you should maintain trading partner field in customer data)
    DR/CR    customer.........20.000usd
    CR/DR  dummy acc. ..........20.000 usd
second posting ( you should clear the trading partner field in customer data)
    CR/DR custoemr......20.0000usd
    DR/CR dummy acc.....20.000 usd
now you can clear items with trading partner is filled.

  • How to Post XML Messages with SOAP Headers to a Trading Partner URL

    Hi All,
Greeting to the Oracle B2B Community. We are currently working on how to post a Custom XML Message with SOAP Headers to a Trading Partner URL. I would really appreciate if anybody could provide me some inputs or links to some documentation on how to achieve the above requirement. The details are below:
    1. Our Internal Application generates a Flat File (PO Extract).
    2. The Extract then needs to be transformed to an XML Message. We are planning to use BPEL to do the transformation to XML Message.
    3. Once it is transformed to an XML message it needs to be posted to the Trading Partner URL as an HTTP Post and with SOAP Headers.
We are planning to use B2B to do the posting but I am not sure on how to do the set-ups and what all parameter files in B2B needs to be updated in order to achieve the same. Also it is mandatory that we send SOAP Headers in the XML Message.
Thanks In Advance for your help.
    Regards,
    Dibya

    Hello Dibya,
As you are already doing the transformation from Flat file to XML in BPEL which is typically the capability of B2B, please use the Soap binding in BPEL to send the document to Trading partner.

  • Trading Partner issue in ECC

I have just activated the trading partner in ECC vendor/customer master on 1.09.08, thus all posting before this date was posted without trading partner information.
In BCS, I plan to load balance as at 31.8.08 using flexible upload as opening balance with all the "correct" trading partner information breakdown and subsequently, period movement will be extracted from ECC.
However, I notice that in ECC, when we make payment to open item created before 1.9.08 (document without trading partner), system will not populate the trading partner information, instead the trading partner information in original line  (i.e. blank) will be posted.
I think this will create a problem, as I alrady uploaded the inter company balance with correct breakdown, but now period movement will be posted without trading partner, thus my balance in BCS will not be correct.
Anyone face the same issue before? Appreciate you can share with me how to overcome this issue, thanks.
    Regards.

This is not an uncommon problem. A few ways to address this are: correction posting in ECC, or correction posting in BCS.
In ECC a posting to move amounts from blank/null trading partner to actual trading partner is one solution. However this is not always possible when the accounts are reconciliation accounts.
In the case of reconciliation accounts it may be better to post the correction in BCS at posting level 10.
Another way to address this is to change the breakdown for these accounts to require trading partner and if blank default is used. Then the correcting entries are from default trading partner to the true trading partner in BCS.

  • Note 779844 Inheritance of trading partner to line items

    hello
I need to apply OSS note 779844. This Note has three steps:
    1. A series of source code changes in the system (done through Tx. SNOTE).
    2. Modify database table GB01 by adding to boolean class 15, table BSEG, the field VBUND (company)
3.Implement a corresponding FI substitution for the callup point 3 with a user exit in which the required trading partner inheritence logic is implemented.
I have trouble understanding what should be the logic for the point 3, the substitution.
the note say that "the inheritence of the trading partner (VBUND) to allother line items of the other company code also occurs if not all line items of the two company codes (except for the company code clearinglines) contain profit and loss accounts, therefore also if line items with balance accounts are involved in the posting"
The note also says to use the substitution with a user exit. I don't know what user exit I should use.
does anyone applied this note before? can anybody explain to me what logic should I use for the FI substitution?
    thanks

    Hi Jorge,
I'm in the middle of implementing this SAP note. Just like you, i encountered the same problem.
I don't understand what does the note means for solution no 3.
"Implement a corresponding FI substitution for the callup point 3 with
a user exit in which the required trading partner inheritence logic is
        implemented."
If you have found the solution, please share with me.
    TQ.

  • How to generate cXML response for a Trading Partner in Oracle B2B 11g

We have a requirement to generate a cXML response whenever there is an inbound message posted from a trading partner to our B2B servlet. Can the response be directly generated in B2B integration layer and sent back to the partner?
Messages(cXML) will be exchanged as Custom document using HTTPs protocol.

    Thanks for the response.
Can you please explain how you used custom cXML in the Ack. What document protocol was used.
    Thanks!

  • Block Trading Partner

    Hello,
Is it possible to block a specific Trading Partner withouth deleting the entry on the Customizing?
I don´t want to delete the entry because it could bear inconsistences on the system because there are already posting with that Trading Partner.
Obviously, the first one step is block, delete, modify, customers/vendors with that Trading Partner to avoid new postings.
Of course, I can create a validation, but I would like to know if there is another solution.
    Thanks in advance.
    Víctor.

If you are using GTS, consider blocking it from that end.  Other than that, I do not know of any other means by which you can block a trading partner.  You may possibly have to ask an abaper to do that for you or just remove the trading partner specified in the vendor/customer master record.
Another alternative is to suppress the field in field status group for vendor and customer account groups.
    Vendor: OBD3
Select:  Vendor Account Group your company uses.
Double click on General Data under field status
Next, double click on Control and then suppress the trading partner field.
    Customer: OBD2
Select:      Customer group your company uses. e.g Sold to Party
Double click on General Data under field status
Next, click on Control and then suppress the trading partner field.

  • Missing Trading Partner

    Dear All,
If the data from R/3 doesn't contain trading partner information, is there anyway to populate this trading partner info in BCS without having to reverse the document from R/3 and perform loading from data stream again?
    Thank You

    Hi,
You can do manual posting. Reverse those line items and post it with trading partner information using manual posting task.

    Dear Nayak
Add trading partner in the customer master before clearing the account in cust code f-32. The trading partner is available in Control data of the cust master

  • Trading Partner - Required Field

    Hi Gurus,
How can i make trading partner as a required field while posting any JV?
And also, i want to put a validation for profit center and Trading Partner.
    Please revert asap.
    THank YOu

We have all this configuration set up.  We do automatically get the trading partner populated on the balance sheet side of the entry.  We charge our subsidiaries inter company fees such as interest, management fees, commissions, etc.  We want to have the trading partner populated on these P&L account items as well because we then segregate these types of expenses by company in order to eliminate them in consolidation.  Many of these types of entries are done in GL entry using transaction code FB01 or F-65 to park.  When using these t-codes the trading partner does not get automatically populated in the P&L account item.  We want to make sure they add a trading partner when using these P&L accounts for inter company type expenses.
