Couldn't Upload file with size more than 2K
Hi,
i am developing an webapplication where in i have to upload a file.we are using hibernate for data storing and retrieval.problem comes when i am uploading a file with size more than 2k bytes.if the file size lesser than 2k it works fine.i found that its a bug with thin jdbc driver version 9.but i am using 10g jdbc driver.still problem exists. i am not suppose to use oci drivers.
working on
OS: windows Xp.
Apps :weblogic8.1
DB: oracle 9i
if anyone has solution plz mailme at [email protected]
I'm not sure where the issue would be. Are you saying that you are using a 9i driver to access a 10g database? If so, download the newer driver and add it to your WEB-INF/lib directory. Remove the existing driver.
If, on the other hand, you are using a 10g driver for a 9i database, I would not expect problems. However, you could always download the older driver and try it out.
Or am I missing something?

Outofmemory while creating a new object of file with size more than 100 MB
I have created an application which generates a report by getting the data from our archived files (.zip file).By the time, the application is reaching a file with size more than 100 mb, it is running out fo memory while creating the object of that particular file. Can some one help me by tellin if there id way to resolve this issue?
Thanks in advanceIf you're getting OutOfMemoryError, the simplest thing to try is to give the VM more memory at startup. For Sun's VM, I believe the default is 64 MB. You can increase this by using the -X args that control the heap size. For example: java -Xms128m -Xmx256m ... etc. ... This says start with 128 MB of heap, and allow it to grow up to 256 MB.
One thing to consider, though, is do you need that much stuff in memory at once? A more intelligent approach might be to unpack the archive to the file system, and then read a file at a time or a line at a time or a whatever at a time is appropriate for the processing you need to do. -
Load and Read XML file size more than 4GB
Hi All
My environment is Oracle 10.2.0.4 on Solaris and I have processes to work with XML file as below detail by PL/SQL
1. I read XML file over HTTP port into XMLTYPE column in table.
2. I read value no.1 from table and extract to insert into another table
On test db, everything is work but I got below error when I use production XML file
ORA-31186: Document contains too many nodes
Current XML size about 100MB but the procedure must support XML file size more than 4GB in the future.
Belows are some part of my code for your info.
1. Read XML by line into variable and insert into table
LOOP
UTL_HTTP.read_text(http_resp, v_resptext, 32767);
DBMS_LOB.writeappend (v_clob, LENGTH(v_resptext), v_resptext);
END LOOP;
INSERT INTO XMLTAB VALUES (XMLTYPE(v_clob));
2. Read cell value from XML column and extract to insert into another table
DECLARE
CURSOR c_xml IS
(SELECT trim(y.cvalue)
FROM XMLTAB xt,
XMLTable('/Table/Rows/Cells/Cell' PASSING xt.XMLDoc
COLUMNS
cvalue
VARCHAR(50)
PATH '/') y;
BEGIN
OPEN c_xml;
FETCH c_xml INTO v_TempValue;
<Generate insert statement into another table>
EXIT WHEN c_xml%NOTFOUND;
CLOSE c_xml;
END
And one more problem is performance issue when XML file is big, first step to load XML content to XMLTYPE column slowly.
Could you please suggest any solution to read large XML file and improve performance?
Thank you in advance.
HikoSee Mark Drake's (Product Manager Oracle XMLDB, Oracle US) response in this old post: ORA-31167: 64k size limit for XML node
The "in a future release" reference, means that this boundary 64K / node issue, was lifted in 11g and onwards...
So first of all, if not only due to performance improvements, I would strongly suggest to upgrade to a database version which is supported by Oracle, see My Oracle Support... In short Oracle 10.2.x was in extended support up to summer 2013, if I am not mistaken and is currently not supported anymore...
If you are able to able to upgrade, please use the much, much more performing XMLType Securefile Binary XML storage option, instead of the XMLType (Basicfile) CLOB storage option.

How to upload a file which has more than 999 line item through BDC ?
Hello Techards
Hi to all
Can any body tell me how to upload a file which has more than 999 line item through BDC for traction F-02 ?
Thanks in advance.
ShovanHello Shovan,
You split it up to post two accounting documents with the help of a "suspense" a/c.
Say, you have to post the following line items below:
line 1 - dr. - GL a/c X - $1000
line 2 - cr. - GL a/c Y - $1
line 3 - cr. - GL a/c Y - $1
line 1001 - cr. - GL a/c Y - $1
You cannot post the above as a single doc in SAP (because of technical reasons), so you need to break it up into 2 documents as below:
Doc1
line 1 - dr - GL a/c X - $1000
line 2 - cr - GL a/c Y - $1
line 3 - cr - GL a/c Y - $1
line 998 - cr - GL a/c Y - $1
line 999 - cr - SUSPENSE a/c - $3
Doc2
line 1 - dr - SUSPENSE a/c - $3
line 2 - cr - GL a/c Y - $3
Note that there is no incorrect impact on accounting as first we credit suspense a/c by $3 and next we debit the same suspense a/c by $3 as a result the effect is nil. Similarly, we credit $997 to GL a/c Y (which is less by $3) in the first doc which is compensated by the second doc by crediting the shortfall of $3.
Hope this helps,
Cheers,

XML to Idoc- XML size more than 200 MB
Hi Experts,
I have an interface with source xml file size more than 200MB. I need to map it to Idoc and send it to ERP. I am planning to change wsdl of idoc(changing occurence 1.1 to 0.99999) to send multiple idocs in one message.
I want to split XML file somehow and send it. what are the different options i have to achieve that ? I am short of ideas.
I know if we have flat file, we can use recordset per message in sender file adapter.
OR
Cleint is willing to send it as a SOAP request, i do not want to use SOAP for such a big file.
Regards
InderHi Inder,
As per sap recommendation we would be able to handle 100 MB, you need to tune your server by increasing the [arametersso that you would be able to handle the messages with big payload.
By default the parameter icm/HTTP/max_request_size_KB will be 10240 which can handle 100MB of file size.if you increase the parameter value by tuning ur system you can process a file bigger than that..
Please refer to the below links for reference....
[link1|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/58/108b02102344069e4a31758bc2c810/content.htm]
[link2|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/de/95/1528d8ca4648869ec3ceafc975101c/content.htm]
as per the above suggestions the best practice is to sand as a multiple idocs splitting into chunks.
Cheers!!!!

Error Uploading Files - One or more files could not be uploaded
Hi, I used Adobe SendNow without any problems for years. Since the migration to Adobe Acrobat, I don't think I have once managed to successfully send any files. Each time I get the message: Error Uploading Files - One or more files could not be uploaded. Please try again. If someone could help that would be great or else I will need to subscribe to alternative file sharing service that actually uploads files. I previously filed a Case Request looking for assistance, and within 2 seconds I received an automated response: "With this response, we believe your issue is resolved and have therefore closed your case 0186251803" !!!
Hi,
Those sizes (and numbers and numbers of files) shouldn't present any problem, but obviously something is amiss.
If you wouldn't mind trying to upload via the Files tab, and then sending from there, that would help us to diagnose. To upload your files, simply sign in and click on the Files tab. You might want to make a folder to hold the files you are going to send. To do this, click on the folder with the + sign. Then open that folder and click on the cloud with the arrow.
(The other way to upload files is to simply drag and drop them.) If you have trouble uploading many files at once (you shouldn't!), try one at a time. Again, I am interested to know what method, if any, works for you.
Now that you have your files uploaded (at least, I hope you've been able to do it successfully!), click on the Send tab and follow the instructions for selecting Acrobat.com Files instead of My Computer.
You should now see the folder you just created. Open it up, and select the files you want to send.
If you have any trouble with this method, give a holler. Though since it's getting late here on the east coast, I might not be able to respond until the morning. -
Read file with size 2Go : Pb
I'm using a loop with Read Vi to seek in the file. It works well, But When my file is greater than 2 GB, I got a memory error (mémoire insuffisante pour terminer l'opération) when I try to read for example 263000 singles data.
This error appears when I want to read my 263000 values (not when seeking).
I don't understand why, because it runs well with a file less than 2 Gb even if I want to read more values.
Please find attached the example vi. Choose a file and run it : if your file size is less than 2 Gb (but have enough datas (ex : file size 10 Mb), it's ok, but if you run it with a file size more than 2 Gb you have the memory error.
Help please ...

SeekBigFile_tst.vi 61 KBHi Eddy,
There are all kinds of fun issues with files greater than 2 GB. The reason is that files greater than 2 GB can't be directly indexed by using a 32 bit integer (the largest integer type LabVIEW currently has). There are a number of solutions. If you are using an NTFS file system, you should be able to continue reading and writing sequentially as long as you don't wire anything up to the position inputs, however, this usually isn't really practical, since it gives you no random access, and accessing 2 GB of data sequentially is going to be kind of tiring.
Anyhow, the best solution to your problem would be to use a 64-bit file library. You can install one of these, the HWS library, from most newer versions of the Driver CD which ships with almost all NI products. For a detailed description of the issue and the possible solutions, check out this tutorial:

Problem with printing more than one page (ghostscript broken?)
Hello,
since one of the last package updates I have problems with printing more than one page. The print problems occurs as well with pdf files as well with printing websites. I use an actual KDE system with commercial turboprint printer driver. The first page always prints fine, but all consecutive pages are corrupted. As from a similar problem some months ago, I assume a broken ghostscript package. I tried to downgrade ghostscript to check that, but I get depency problems:
root@arch32 dieter]# ls -l /var/cache/pacman/pkg/ghostscript-*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 9906288 21. Mär 2010 /var/cache/pacman/pkg/ghostscript-8.71-3-i686.pkg.tar.xz
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 11402624 8. Okt 22:44 /var/cache/pacman/pkg/ghostscript-9.00-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz
[root@arch32 dieter]# pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/ghostscript-8.71-3-i686.pkg.tar.xz
Löse Abhängigkeiten auf...
Suche nach Zwischen-Konflikten...
Fehler: Konnte den Vorgang (Kann Abhängigkeiten nicht erfüllen) nicht vorbereiten
:: libspectre: benötigt ghostscript>=9.00
[root@arch32 dieter]#
Anyone else having printing problems or a solution for my problem?
Thanks, DieterThis may not be related but I had a problem printing a pdf today whereby the second page got corrupted. The same pdf had printed fine several months ago. I realised that (long story) for some reason I had switched drivers (HP printer) from hpijs to hpcups. I installed the printer again as a "new" printer using the hpijs driver and it printed properly this time.
So it may be that the bug causes issues with some drivers. You could try an alternative driver for the printer as temporary workaround? -

Upload files with international content
I want to upload files with international content(many languages), from
a single JSP. Any ideas?
thanks,
M.Hi Marco,
I dont know transaction CV02N. But if this application uses standard function modules like GUI_UPLOAD it should work with ITS. A special configuration should not be required as long as the files have a size up to 5 MB. If they are larger it might be required to adjust the size of the request container MaxReqSize. Dont forget that Java has to be activated to let webgui access the filesystem.

How to associate an uploaded file with form data
I have a "ticketing" app which stores a ticket no. as well as allows users to upload multiple files per ticket. The problem I am having is how to associate an uploaded file with a particular ticket no. As you can guess this becomes complicated when the same user can potentially update multiple tickets using the same file names. I am having difficulty trying to understand how to associate a ticket no with one or more uploaded files. I do have a custom table which I update with the attachments but I am unsure how to, or when to, update the ticket information on this custom table. I only want to retrieve attachments for a given ticket, not all attachments uploaded by a user.Does anyone have any ideas?
Hi,
My question is bit related to this topic.
I am having a requirement to upload the CSV files so that they will store in a database table and later on wards when they search on that table it needs to pull the information and display on the form. I am a new bee to application express. Could some body tell me how to start this process with??. Just give me an overvoew/hints so that I will try to carry on my own.
Cheers,

I placed many unix.exe files into Trash, more than one at a time. I recently updated 'QuickTime' and the Mac version of 'SilverLight"
(name might be totally 'correct). I don't know if removing these files can impede my iMac 2008 running OS 10.6.8(updated SnowLeopard).
I know I can 'return' one file from Trash at a time. When I try to return more than one ('mouse click' and 'drag'
over 2 or more files, the'return' option isn't listed. Is there a way I can either 'return all' or return more than one file
at a time?Only one at a time. But where are they from? Did you delete system files or are these Windows files (.exe is a Windows extension?)

I saw that icloud has a limitation of 5 minutes on the videos :
Is there a way to automatically upload videos that last more than 5 minutes from iphoto/photos ?
I'm trying to find a way to store my photo library on the cloud, AND keep to acces to each photos/videos from the net (not just storing the .iphotolibrary on the icloud folder) but i cant do it for the videos of more than 5min ...I believe you are probably referring to iCloud photo sharing. If you wait a while, the next version of Yosemite will include the new Photos application which will sync video through the iCloud photo library feature.

Handling xml message of size more than 100mb in SAP PI 7.1
Dear Experts,
Is it possible for PI to pick-up and process a XML message of size more than 100 MB in PI 7.1 EHP-1?
If yes, can you please let me know how to handle it?
Thank you.Hi Saravana,
it is not a best practice to more than 100mb..
you can increase below parameters and so that you would be able to process for the best..
u2022 UME Parameters : May be we need to look into the pool size and poolmax wait parameters - UME recommended parameters (like: poolmaxsize=50, poolmaxwait=60000)
u2022 Tuning Parameters: May be we need to look/define the Message Size Limit u201Clike: EO_MSG_SIZE_LIMIT = 0000100u201D under tuning category
u2022 ICM Parameters: May be we need to consider ICM parameters (ex: icm/conn_timeout = 900000. icm/HTTP/max_request_size_KB = 2097152)
Thanks and Regards,

TCHi,
Please Change your transfer settings in site manager from either default or passive to active it to see what's going on.
Also, check IE compatibility mode.
In addition, I suggest you install all latest updates for Windows since these updates will improve and fix some known issues.
