Create down payment request with reference to PO

When we try to create the down payment request at F-47, can we copy the data from purchase order automatically instead of key in the items one by one?

Hi,
You can specify the reference PO number in doing down payment to vendor. The data from PO is not copied since we are making payment wrto vendor & not the PO. PO is just used for reference & reporting.
Thanks,

    Hi
This could be possible if you activate the Business Function SD_01 delived in EhP 2 in ECC 6.0. Note this activation is an irreversable function.
Read the utilities of the function for more details.

  • How to reconcile AR down payment Request with AR Invoice?

    Dear All,
    SAP B1 2007A SP01 PL07 version.
I have created one AR down payment Request with total amount 1000.00, and then post incoming payment to paid the AR down payment Request, and the AR downpayment request then closed.
Then, I add one AR Invoice with amount 1000.00.
After that, I want to add incoming payment , then I select both (AR downpayment request & AR invoice), but cannot add the incoming payment because the total amount is zero (1000.00 - 1000.00=0.00).
How can I solve this problem?
Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi Kerstin,
    Thank you for you reply.
I did test your solution, but its only work for SAP 8.8. But now i'm working in SAP 2007A version. For 2007A version, downpayment request cannot be drawn to invoice.
Anyway, i find out one way. If I add the payment together with another invoice, thats mean the total payment is not zero, then its work. The solution is, make sure the total payment is not zero then it should be ok.
Thanks to everybody for your fast reply. Thank you so much and really appreciate your help.

  • Linkage of Down Payment Request with Down Payment

    Dear All
I want to know is there any way we can find our the Down Payment Number from the Down Payment Transaction. Suppose we have created a Down Payment Request (Tran No. 10001) and made a Down Payment against it (20002).
When we open the Down Payment (20002) in display mode, how we can find out against which Down Payment Request this Payment was made.
In FBL1N also against Down Payment Request system shows the DP Transaction No. but against DP Transaction line item, system does not show the DPR No.
    Regards
    Vikas Gupta

    Hi
Its OK that while doing Down Payment we can have reference of DPR but once the Down Payment transaction has been posted, we lose the reference of DPR from DP transaction.
If we open the DP transaction in Display / Change mode, system does not show the DPR No. in any field.
    Please suggest.

  • IDOC from SRM to create Down Payment Request (F-47) in ECC

We need to build one custom object in SRM. This object(upon final approval) should trigger the creation of Down Payment Request in ECC(Tcode F-47) System. To elaborate more in simplest terms, The custom object in SRM is created to capture Advance Payment Request related Data. (Vendor, contract no, Advance Amount etc...). There is no standard IDOC type in SRM to capture this data.
In ECC system, we have one standard IDOC related to Down payment request (IDOC Type FIDCCP01).
Other thing is, when this outbound IDOC is trigerred from SRM, it has to not only to get the data from that custom object but also calculate some values and fill this in down payment request fields.
    Now questions:
Please help in letting me know the best method to achieve this. Should we use IDOC tecnology? If yes, then please detail the steps needed to achive this. Should we create the same IDOCbasic  type FIDCCP01 in SRM as we have in ECC. How can IDOC capture the calculated values for some fields in Down payment request? Do we need to create some function module for this?
Please detail the process step needed to achive this(like IDOC Basic Type creation, Functiona Module creation etc etc...). Or if we should use some other methd like RFC or BAdi etc... then please let know.
Thanks for any help the SDN community could provide.

    Hi Gurus,
I was trying to process the down payment request using Tcode F-47 with input tax, I am getting an error saying that "Down pmnts with taxes are not permitted when processing with jur.code". For this error I found the note 97288, but this speaks a lot about changing the pricing procedures in SD, but nothing about AP. So, can any one help me to understand what needs to be done to resolve this issue.

Making Down Payment Request using BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST

    Hi,
Just in case you found this thread with the same problem.
At least in my case what was happening is that I wanted to leave the currency fields blank (the same currency as payment value) but I was filling in ACCOUNTPAYABLE-PYMT_AMT, so was receiving error telling me that currency fields could not be empty. And if I set them to the same as payment, I would receive a message telling me that currency must be different.
If you want to use only one currency you don't need to fill in these 3 fields:
    ACCOUNTPAYABLE-PYMT_AMT
    ACCOUNTPAYABLE-PYMT_CUR
    ACCOUNTPAYABLE-PYMT_CUR_ISO
The same probably applies for the ACCOUNTRECEIVABLE table.
    Cheers,

  • Ehancement Spot for Vendor Down Payment Request F-47

    Hi
I am trying to post a DP Request to Vendor with reference to a PO Document, which consists of various taxes. PO Base amount is 150 and Tax value is 25. When I am trying to pass a DP Request for more than 150 system is giving the error message "Order Value will be exceeded". Message Number is F5373.
If I  change this error message to warning system will throw a warning message if the DPR value exceeds 150. I can proceed further but it will not restrict if another DP Request with reference to the same PO is passed.
How to restrict the system to accept only one Down Payment Request with reference to any given PO ?
Are there any user exits to be used ? if so please let me know. Also the enhancement spots in order to control multiple DP Requests against the same Purchase Order.
    Thank you
    Gemini

    Hi,
You can create a validation (OB28), checking with user-exit that you'll create, whether there are down payments posted against PO. Pre-requisites could be the document type of down payment that you're using in the system or the trnsaction (F-47) itself.

  • Down payment request scenario

in my down payment request scenario system generate down payment request with reference to sales order.
    following is the procedure.
    10. PR00
    20. MWST
    30. Value include sales tax
    40. AZWR                 10-30           Reqt 2, CalTy 48
lets assume at order level PR00 condition value is $100 and MWST value is $17 total value include sales tax is $117.
But when i generate the FAZ billing type system call only PROO value in the AZWR, means down payment generate only of PR00, mwst value is not incorporated in the AZWR.
Is it standard that system consider only PROO value for down payment request, or did i require some changes.
    Looking forward for the response.
    Regards,

    Hello Jignesh,
Just a design level suggestion for your requirement.
You are looking to have a system that calculates tax during DP invoice.
Create a new Item category which has 'Billing Plan' tab enabled at Item level. Check with Abap'er to bring a custom field (check box) saying 'Tax on down payment'. Here the posting schema needs to be defined (like which account needs to be used for tax posting and its PK and D/H indicator and use some FM for tax calculation and check for zero balancing, etc.,.)
Then whenever the check box is ticked, and the Billing is performed for the DP invoice, then enable the system to calculate tax amount based on the tax classification & tax defined for the SO using the so called code written in routine or user exit. Now, the tax calculation can be achieved.
This is purely a custom suggestion (nothing to do with standard SAP). Sorry i couldnt able to provide much of a technical solution for your requirement . But still this is achievable and i worked some years back on the same.

  • Error when posting Down payment with reference to down payment request

    Hi Experts,
In October of 2010 we upgraded from version SAP 4.7 to version 604 SAPKH60406.
With this upgrade we decided to select the following FM setting:
"Flag to activate down payment request update to PO history"
If this flag is set, down payment requests are updated to the purchase order history. In addition, when you create a down payment referencing this down payment request , the down payment request is cleared by the down payment.
Use- Set this flag if you want to see the down payment requests  in the purchase order history.
So, since October 2010, the Down payment requests have been updated to the PO history (note - no update of the down payment request was made to the PO status tab) and the down payments (made with reference to the down payment request) have been clearing the DP requests.
Today we have applied packages SAPKH60407 - SAPKH60409 and we are in the process of testing.
Now we are experiencing errors when processing down payments:
    1. create the down payment request (F-47) - this is OK
    2. create the down payment (F-48) with reference to the down payment request - ERROR MESSAGE F5373 - "Order value will be exceeded"
Can anyone please explain why this is happening?  We would like to keep the "Flag to activate DPR update to PO history" ON
as it has been since October 2010.
    Thanks,
    Michelle

  • Creating a debit memo request with reference to an invoice

    Hi,
An invoice shows wrong MWST value because of incorrect customer tax classification as Tax exempt. I corrected the cust tax classification to "Liable for Tax". Then I tried to create a debit memo request with reference to the incorrect invoice. Thats a requirement by the customer. Invoices with incorrect VAT are not to be cancelled. A specially created VAT only sales order (Debit memo request) is used to create a sales order with 0 net value and correct MWST . But while trying to create the debit memo request, the system picks up the same old condition record for the MWST. How to overcome this situation ?
The copy control for the item category from billing doc to debit memo request is set to "B" that is  new pricing. I even tried to update pricing. But it does not work. Changing the Service rendered date or the pricing date to current date also does not help.
    Please help.
    Regards.

This is working fine. What I did was
1: create a new pricing procedure
2: made the PR00 condition statistical
3: using a routine calculate the MWST based on the PR00. But PR00 itself does not contribute to the net value. This part is working fine. I could create debit memos successfully.
The problem is if we change either the customer or the material tax classification after creating the invoice, and then create a debit request with reference to the incorrect invoice, the system still considers the old tax classfication and therefore the old MWST rate. If I create a debit request without reference, the new rate is applicable.
I hope I have made clear.
    Regards.

  • Down Payment Request at Header Level of PO

    Dear Friends
We want to create Down Payment Request and subsequently the Down Payment at Purchase Order Header Level. We are looking for a standard solution without any Custom Development.
While creating a Down Payment Request (F-47) the system does not ask for the reference of the Purchase Order. But if Purchase Order Number is referred then the system will ask for the line item also.
When we convert this Down Payment Request to Down Payment (F-48), we can refer the Purchase Order Number. If referred, the system asks for the line item also, which becomes mandatory.
However we want to understand if there is a possibility of posting the Down Payment against the Purchase Order Header.
This is required, since if there are multiple line items in the purchase order, then creation of Down Payment Request as well as Down Payment becomes a tedious activity in SAP.
Someone innovative and has already worked on such requirement please reply.

    Hi,
Try the following steps to pay to Vendor w.r.t PO:
    1.Check the Vendor reconciliation A/C,
2.Go to FS00, and check Filed Status Group,
3.Go to OBC4, check the Filed Status Group, what u have mentioned for the Vendor reconciliation account.
    4. Go To material management segment and put optional entry for the field of Purchase Order and save.
5.Now come to F-48, enter the date, vendor, assign the sp.G/L transaction(A),bank sub account, amount,
then enter, it will take to next screen
Here you enter amount & your purchase order number with reference to your are going to make the payment. Now simulate and save.
After the GR & IR is done, Perform F-54 for Down Payment Clearing
