Create inspection lot move data from mseg to qals

hello.
When SAP create inspection lot from MIGO, I need to move mseg-ablad ( uploading point) to qals-yyfield.
In Migo we can have more than one pos, then system create differents inspection lot.
Is it possible ??? are there any user exit to do that ??? i see user migo's exist and inspecion lot's create, but in both cases i don't see all data to read an and move it.

Do you mean there are more than one Items in PO and for each Item there will be different inspection lot?
Then,
You need to get Material document number for inspection lot number and get MSEG-ABLAD which will be QALS-YYFIELD (YYABLAD).

What we might need to do is to change the question. What computer do you plan to use the data on in the future? For example, if you have a newer tower, just move the hard drive to the new tower. If you want to use the data, what about an ethernet LAN to get the data over? If you want to archive the data, how do you store the second drive? What are your plans for the first drive? If the new software will not recognize the old file type, the data must be exported. Just getting files to another hard drive will not finish your journey.
As Allan said, knowing the exact model and year of your tower is important. My suggestion is to find a user group near you. Please post back with more information, including the name of a large city near you.
For example, our user group just experimented with a 1983 Apple IIc that predates the Mac. It started right up, read files from 1984 and saved them from a 5.25" floppy to a 3.5" floppy. That 3.5 floppy will go into a platinum G3 which will read PRODOS files using Apple File Exchange. That G3, with a USB card, will allow saving the files to a USB flash drive. But, somewhere along the way, some software has to read the file and convert it to data that is useable by current software.

Creating Inspection Lots

I need to create inspection lots using FM. I have the matnr and charg available. How to use this FM to create inspection lots?

We have created a function which creates inspection lots based on some Z-tables we have. The FM you mention creates the inspection lot but just stores it in memory. It is necessary to update table QALS. Here's the interesting part of the code we're using:

Create Inspection Lot for Serial Number

Hello,
Is it possible to create an Inspection Lot and associate it to a Serial Number right away.
I've done a process were I've change the Material and Serial Number of my equipment, so now the old inspection lot is not usefull no more and I would need to have a new inspection lot so that the movement to place the stock on unrestricted is cone for the new inspection lot.
Or is that any other way to do this???

The inspection lot is created when the mobile is delivered from client and dismantled, and my stock gets increased for the returned material - that stock remains in Quality.
Later when the Usage Decision for the Inspection Lot is given (depending on the selection) my stock passes from quality to unrestricted, and this is the normal process without issues.
Possible exception:
If in the midle of the process I've to change the serial number for this mobile or to change the Material + serial number, the first Inspection Lot created is not helpfull to me because I can´t change there the Material or serial number. So the Usage Decision would be given for the old serial number, isn't it?
Today I found a Ztransaction that is used to create Inspection Lot. In the first step the material, goes in the warehouse in Quality and in the second step, when the Usage Decision is given, the stock passes from Quality to Unrestricted.
For the substitution Material / Serial number everything is correct, but for the first one it's not, should this obsolete stock goes to scrap?

Move data from one table to another table

Hi all,
I had a custom table called sales_data in that table there are columns like JAn,FEB,upto DEC including other columns so in each month there is some data total data is 23000 count but each month has has specific data like JAn-2500,FEB-2000 like that it has total 23000 records
My Requirement is i have to move data from one table to another table that too if i will pass jan only jan data should move like that feb,march,.....
in my table there is no month column i had get it from another table called gl_periods and by using cursor and case function i have written the code
well while when i am inserting data am passing year,month as parameters but 23000 data is moving it should get like that.
Please suggest me.its urgent

Updating of QM info structures on the basis of inspection lot creation date

Dear Gurus,
Our business requirement is as follow:
Suppose MM has received 10 consignment of a material (Goods receipt) against a material in month of Feb-2008 from a particular vendor.
Inspection lot statistics in MCXA is updated on the basis of inspection lot generation, which is as per our requirement.
Suppose this inspection take 2 days for analysis at laboratory.
Now FI has to make payments for the month of Feb-2008 against this inspection results. They need the value of average quality parameter for the month of Feb-2008. (Average value of all quality parameter for the material of all the inspection lot which are generated in Feb-2008)
I want that QMIS should update on the basis of Inspection Lot creation date not on the basis of result recording system date.
I think there should be some configuration settings available for this purpose.
Please help me out.

If your source and target are on the same database server then you dont need LKM.
You have to 1. create one data server for the database server
2. Create one physical schema for your source and another physical schema for your target under the above created data server.
3. Then create models for each above created physical schema
In this case you just need IKM knowledge module

If your source and target are on different server then you must create two different data servers in topology. You have to use LKM.
The best LKM to use is LKM oracle to Oracle dblink. But you should have proper grants to use it
If your source has very few records you can go with LKM SQL to Oracle other wise use LKM oracle to Oracle dblink

Re:inspection lot not moving from 03 inspection type to 04 inspection type

I am in a issue. I have done UD for in process inspection. i.e 03 type. Now when I am looking for the inspection lot updateion to inspection type in QA32 I am not able to find it.
This is a live issue,
Please advice as soon as possible.
I have chaecked all the setting ,I dont think there is any issues in it .

Hey Vivek you ask too many questions at once.
To check the follow - up action. See in the UD screen itself below the ud code you enter.
I checked this & I found :for each order item
batch storage location.
It means it will create inspection lot if any of the mentioned condition changes either order,batch,or storage location. In other words it will create unique inspection lot for Order,Batch and storage location combination.
Now, remember why I have directed to this field because Craig has furnished that it will create a lot with 04 type as soon as you release the order but for that you need to select the option for "Early Lot creation". Correct?
And you were not able to find the way how and where to do. So I just guided to you but sorry dear I have never ever used this functionality.
Now what are you doing? waiting for another two hrs to have the lot? Simultaneously you should check what is happening with the Order from where the lot is generated.
Have you completed UD for Lot 03 this time?
Most importantly pls let us know what is the Inspection points you have selected for the inspection plan for 04 type lot and at the Routing/Master Recipe from where the 03 lot get the MICs?
It may possible as you described the lot is getting triggered after 2hr from UD of 03 lot then the inspection points for the lot 04 or 03 would be time based inspection.

Move data from 1:1 to M:M

I have 2 table. one is s_org_ext and another one is s_org_ext_x. Relationship between the two table has 1:1
Table 1:
Column: Row_id,Name.
Table 2:
Column: Row_id,BI_Application,Par_Row_id(Foreign key of Table 1).
My UI layer displayed recors as follows.
Name(S_org_ext) | BI Application(S_org_ext_x)
|
IBM | Cog
Oracle | Siebel
But now i need to column BI_Application from another table s_org_ext_XM (Third table). So I successfuly configured 1:M relationship. But now i want get the values from second table (s_org_ext_x with 1:1) column (BI_Application) to
third table (S_org_ext_XM with 1:M) column (BI_Application)
Let me know, if u know ease way to move data from 1:1 to 1:M.

You can define third table S_org_ext_XM with will be having row_id from s_org_ext and row_id from s_org_ext_x like
create table S_org_ext_XM (s_org_ext_row_id, s_org_ext_x_row_id) as

      s_org_ext_x t2
where
     t1.row_id = t2.par_row_id You can also put the composite primary key on that both columns.

Create Inspection Lot

Hi,
In my program, I want create an inspection lot with Function 'QPL1_INSPECTION_LOT_CREATE'. Before I created the inspection plan. I used control flags (RMQED) like the function 'CO_QM_INSPECTION_LOT_CREATE'. In 'QPL1_INSPECTION_LOT_CREATE' output, I have a subrc equalt to 0. Normaly, it must created a new input in QALS table but I have nothing!! I debuged the 'QPL1_INSPECTION_LOT_CREATE' and I see that the inspection lot obect number begin by 'TM' and not by 'QL'.
Why the 'QPL1_INSPECTION_LOT_CREATE' process doesn't show error but doesn't create the inspection lot and why the inspection lot obect number begin by 'TM'???
I see the functions 'OBJECT_NUMBER_GET_QL' and 'OBJECT_NUMBER_INSERT_QL'... but I don't know used it!
What the process to create Inspection Lot??

Create inspection lot in sales return

Hi Experts,
When doing sales return (VA01) and return delivery order (VL01N), if I need to create inspection lot for QA guys, what is required to set?
I have tried using SAP standard inspection type 06 or 10, no inspection lot is created.

Sales return inspection mainly deals with two scenarios: stock relevant and non stock relevant. 06 inspection origin/type is for non-stock relevant and the preferred one.
The basic setting is already explained in previous post. Now few things to done are:
1. Activate inspection type 06 for the materials
2. Make sure tick box is not checked for movement type 651 in QCC0Q-inspection-Insp lot creation-insp for good movement--deactivate quality
3. in Tcode VOV6, select schedule line category DN and check that movement type maintained in 651
4. Check your inspection plan usage is correct as per your inspection type setup.
Now your settings are completed for customer return inspection with 06 origin. Once any return delivery is done, a non-stock relevant lot will be created in SAP.

UPDATE: I had 36 Safari windows open and minimized on the dock from my last session; 20 of those windows failed to open b/c Safari "couldn't find the server"; I just went to the URL bar of all 20 pages and clicked return, and all 20 pages loaded perfectly, without dropping any images or losing formatting. This is a puzzle!!!

I need to move data from work space -1 to work space -2. I need to move only selected data. From work space -1 to work space -2

Table -1 is parent table and Table-2 is child. Here PID is parent key of table-1 and ID's in both the table are primary keys.

Hi Sudhir,
since data tables are not located in work-areas but in schema's I presume you mean the latter.
A simple conversion statement would be something like :
insert into table s1.newtable ( column1, column2, ... )
select column1a, column2a, ...
from s2.oldtable
where ...
First the master table, then the child table.
This works using a user-id having al least read-access to schema s2. If no such user exists then use some export method.
No relation to APEX though.
