Create new mailbox via Groupwise web service (SOAP)

Good evening!
I'm new to Groupwise integration via SOAP and was looking through the web service API at this page.
Unfortunately, I was not able to find a method that would allow me to create a new mailbox. Do you have any info if this is even doable via the Groupwise web services? If so, what method should I be using?

the Admin API.

Hello! I'm Razvan, programmer from Romnia, and I am new to GroupWise development.
I am asking if anyone could help me with a C# Visual Studio 2010 example of how to install and consume GroupWise Web Service (SOAP).
The documentation from novell site didn't help me, i didn't understant much of it.
All I need is either a link to a documented GroupWise C# developer step-by-step tutorial, or some code examples.

4)sending a mail,
5)setting an appointment
I don't know how to use "groupwise.wsdl" and customise it so that it points to our GroupWise server.

I know this might be a very simple question given the complexity of the other posts here, but that's why I really hope I will get an answer soon.

Send a map of documents via Invoke Web Service

Hi,
I have one process with map of documents and 2nd process on other server, where input variable is map od documents too. How can I send this map between these processes via "Invoke Web Service" component? Simple datatypes I can.

It shows how to create an input map for multiple documents.
But it sounds like you're asking how to create a WSDL that allows you to use an input map as an argument in a Web Service invocation. If so, take a look at the Assembler services WSDL. For 8.2, access

Web Service (SOAP) From Oracle Forms

From the exaples of calling web services (soap) from pl/sql, it seems very poor and troublesome. I've seen a few articles with good points about why not to do this from pl/sql. So, I was hoping someone in the forums could share their opinions and approaches to using web services from forms based applications. I would ideally like to hear reasons people chose not to use pl/sql.

There are some examples of calling web services from forms on the Forms OTN page - works fine although I would encourage the use of the new JVM pooling features as this will aid scalability and performance.

Cannot edit/create new mailbox in ECP - Exchange 2013 CU6

Hello, I am currently running Exchange 2013 CU6. I cannot perform tasks related to recipients such as edit/create new mailbox. Additionally I cannot view the properties of the virtual directories.
I tried multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE) in different PCs and the result is the same
For example, I cannot click "Browse" in "new user mailbox" tab
"New local Mailbox move" page displays blank

Anyways, the whole thing was back to normal for 1 day on its own, but right now the issue is happening again. Permission-wise, the account I used is in listed Organization Management role
Update: I forgot to try the EMS, but after I recycle the
MSExchangeECPAppPool, everything works fine, except for viewing Groups and Permissions

Web Service SOAP Sender Authorization

Hi all
I have been implementing a Web Service (SOAP Sender CC) that should be consumed by an external party. I have been testing it successfully using XMLSpy with the drawback of the authentication box coming up even though I have added sap-user and sap-password to the URL as following:
http://<host>:50000/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:SOAP_Service:CC_SOAP_Sender&sap-user=<name>&sap-password=<pass>
The user that I have created for this has the profile SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER assigned.The request is successfully executed when I enter <name> and <pass> in the box. My understanding of it would be that the box does not show up if the login parameters are provided with the URL. Do I have to do any additional settings so that the login information will be taken from the URL parameters automatically instead bringing up the authoritzation box?
My CC settings are as following:
Adapter Type: SOAP (SAP BASIS 7.00)
Sender
Transport Protocol: HTTP
Message Protocol: SOAP 1.1
Adapter Engine: Integration Server
HTTP Security Level: HTTP
Conversion Parameters: Keep Headers
Quality of Service: Best Effort

Hello Daniel,
1. You can add username and password to the SOAP URL and expose your XI Interface as a webservice. Just that the URL is different than the one you are using and you do not need a Sender SOAP adapter but the blog I have listed above.
2. You can turn of Basic authentication on Sender SOAP adapter's but it is not recommended as it would turn off all authentication for SOAP scenarios and it can lead to security risks.
I have seen a few forum threads describing how to turn of Basic authentication for SOAP adapters but from what I have heard from SAP, they do not recommend using this option.

Invalid date format for 'Created' field in the getVersions web service Response.

I am trying to get all versions for selected document by calling getVersions method Versions.asmxweb service, but getting ‘Created’ date attribute value is in the format "29-05-2012 12:01"
but I am expecting either one of the following date formats.
1.      yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss or yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ssz
2.      MM/dd/yyyy HH:mm a   (a means AM/PM)
3.      MM/dd/yyyy
4.      yyyyMMdd HH:mm:ss
where do I need to change?
what are all the formate will be support by SharePoint?

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to change date format for ‘Created’ field in the getVersions web service.
Per my knowledge, you can get the date format for ‘Created’ field as “MM/dd/yyyy HH:mm a”.

Can i receive XML via a web service into the PDF form??

hi all, I am able to send data to a server via a web service configured in my email submit button. Once the data has been received on the server, a reference number is sent back. My problem starts here as the reference number comes back into my browser and not back into the PDF. How can i get the reference number into the PDF? Thanks J

I have another question if you don't mind.
I am trying to establish a WSDL in ALCD. I establish the connection successfully and
in return i receive predefined objects such as 3 numeric fields and a button.
I drag these objects onto a new form and try to execute but nothing happens.
The first 2 objects are supposed to accept input, send it via WSDL to a server that should return
a new value back to another predefined object when the button is clicked.
I have not response when the button is clicked. It is as if there is not connection at all.
If i try and change the button to a submit button and enter the WSDL manually it tries to connect but fails.
The WSDL does work if I test it using soapUI.
Would you have any idea why this is not working?

We do not use HTTPS. It is a simple Web Service that is called via HTTP with a request that calls a BAPI using the RFC adapter and returns the answer from the BAPI via the Web Service.

Groupwise Web service Problem

Hello,
i try to use the novell groupwise web service with coldfusion
8. It´s not possible to resgister this service in Coldfusion
Adminstrator. I get allways an error if i register this service.
This also happens by many other services like Innovaphones
VOIP Soap.
If i use theses services in Flex there´s no problem.
I think, coldfusion has problems with some definitions in the
wsdl-file. Is it possible, to get some informations whats wrong,
when i register the service?

The issue may be due to Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) was enabled on SSRS server. Please refer to the following steps to fix the issue:
Use Notepad to open the web.config file of Report Server and Report Manager. In SSRS 2012, the default location is: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS11.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer
(Note: Please backup the file before modify it.)
Add the following <machineKey> section in the <system.web> section:

I am looking for a generic method to create the documentation for a web service which has been created using the wizards in SAP NWDS and deployed to the SAP J2EE Engine/Portal.
Of course the best would be some solution which operates like Javadoc or similare. There are also some SAP internal web services which are already documented in the way I would like to use in my own coding:
- RepositoryFramework Web Service:

Does anybody knows which tool has been used by SAP to document the WebServices mentioned above and if it is bundled with the soure code like in Javadoc?
Is there any other standard/tool/practice to generate a similare documentation for a web service?

This is very strange, as it works perfectly for me with the same build.
Can you try running [jdev-root]\jdev\bin\jdev.exe create a new workspace and a new project with a hello world class and then right click on it to choose create a J2EE web service.
Do you get any error messages in the log window?
If not, can you try installing JDeveloper again and see if it fixes the issue?

You can access the SAP ABAP system by configuring it in the NW ES admin console, any system with version > 4.6C can be integrated in the search engine.
The UI for NW ES is a WebDynpro via Web Browser (In the future will be integrated in Widgets and Portal, etc) but i'm not sure if you want to use the WS to access the results of the ES searching or if you want to integrate a WS from ABAP as part of the searching area...

Limitation on data that can be fetched (ABAP RFC) via a Web Service?

Is there any limit on the data that can be fetched via a Web Service (ABAP exposed as Web Service). I am trying to fetch PI monitoring data from ABAP Tables via a Web Service and there can be thousands of messages proceesed say in a day and what if user is provided the option of fetching messages for a specefic duration.
Please advise.

If I understand your question correctly, there's an environment variable CPIC_MAX_CONV handles sessions between integration engine and adapter engine (ABAP and Java). By default, the value of this variable is 500, and you might want to increase it to 1000 at least, depends on system throughput. Recommended value from SAP for Production is 5000.

A user at EIS level is actually a user set up on the relational catalog where your olap models/metaoutlines are stored. For instance if you got to the OLAP model properties dialog and the General tab you can see the owner here is the user you use to connect to your catalog. You can also prevent other users from accessing models not owned by them by setting the security option from the drop-down list on this tab.Mark Rixon www.analitica.co.uk
