Create sales order with reference - Sales org. differ

Hi Friends,
Normally we create sales orders in a particular sales organization (Say sales org: X). Then there is a requirement to create another sales order in a different sales organization (Say sales org: Y) by copying the initial order available in X.
In the standard SAP, the system does not allow to create a sales order by copying an order which is created in another sales organization. Can anyone please provide a solution for the above scenario?

I don't know exactly what you need, but, if you just want to copy the itens or propose itens, you can use, besides the suggestion above, this configuration:
Item Proposal:
SPRO -> Sales an Distribution -> Master Data -> Item Proposal.

Function module for Create service order with reference to sales doc (RAS )

I have to create a service order (type SM03) with reference to sales document (doc type RAS, in other way it is called as repair order).
I have used function module 'ALM_ME_ORDER_CREATE' && 'CO_ZV_ORDER_POST' to create service order and its working fine but problem is that i am not able to create linking between repair order and service order.
Can anyone suggest me function module, BAPI to create service order with reference as sales document (RAS) so that all related details of sales document will automatically reflect to service order..

Try this function module BAPI_ORDER_MAINTAIN. Just search with BAPI_ORDER* in SE37 you will get some more functions.

Is it possible in standard SAP to create one sales order with multiple quotations, or to create one order with reference to multiple orders, if yes what is the procedure.

Yes, You can create a Sales Order with reference to multiple quotes or Sales Orders.
The Procedure is as follows
1. Goto T. Code VA01 (CREATE SALES ORDER)
2. Give Sales document type and Sales Area
3. After entering into the Create Sales Order screen, click on top left menu which is "Sales Document"
4. In that list, you have an option " Create With reference", in that again you have two options "To Sales Document" and "To Serial Number"
5. Select "To sales Document", then a window will be opened which has all the tabs like "Inquiry, Quotation, Order, Contract, Shc. Agg, Billing doc"
6. Select any one tab which you want to copy (say quotation), give the quotation number there and click on copy.
7. Then all the line items and Header data will be copied from quotation to that sales order.
8. Like this you can do for any number of times.

Creating an order with reference to another doc

I want to create an Order with reference to another document.....in other words it should be a copy of the other document...
Any ideas of what function modules we have to use and how we can acheive it...

Creating a Sales Order from a Sales Order Quotation is SAP Standard so really should not be an issue for you.
You do need to maintain the Copy Control Configuration as per my previous reply.
Define Copying Control for Transaction Types
Define Item Category Determination when Copying
Effectively the details of your Transaction Type for Sales Order Quotation will copy into your Sales Order transaction.
I'm used to working in an environment where the user manually decides to then continue with a follow-up transaction, therefore I'm not too sure which Function Modules you need to use in order to do this automatically.
But you are on the right track.

We can also create the PO Using the BAPI_PO_CREATE1 function module.
In this function module fill up the all necessary Details.
With details in Item Table we haveto give the Fields PREQ_NO and PREQ_ITEM for each item .
then it will creates the PO with PREQ.

Issue while creating an order with reference to a contract

When I try to create an order with reference to a contract having KMATs at line item using VA01, it works fine. But when we try to record the same using SHDB, it comes out after accepting the Contract Number on the pop up screen.
If some one can throw light as to if it the config issue or any setting that needs to be looked into?

No special settings. This is a typical problem. SHDB (SM35, or call transaction) can be different to "normal" transaction.
You can only follow the special sequence given by the transaction running in BDC mode (if you are using exits check on these fields: sy-binpt, sy-calld).

Go to SPRO->Logistic general->Tax on goods movement->India->Movement types.
Here you will find the group of movement types check which movement types is mantained for the out side movement groups or inward movement.
also check the Material Master in MRP view if the collective requirements (02) is mantained.

I need a function module to create a production order with reference to an existing order. There is no BAPI available for SAP 4.7 release. I found that the function module CO_ZF_PRODUCTIONORDER_CREATE does not create with reference to an existing order.

Create Purchase Order with reference to Purchase Requisition using BAPI's

Hello Experts,
I need to create a Purchase order with reference to a Purchase Requisition.
All the above has to be done by using BAPI's.
For creating PR, I am using BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE.
and for PO, I am using BAPI_PO_CREATE.
I am not able to use the requistion number in the PO. BAPI throws the following exception
"Requisition 1014396 00010 not selectable"
"Document contains no items"
Query's:
1. Do I need to release the PR for using it in PO?
2. If so how can I work with the "BAPI_REQUISITION_RELEASE_GEN" to release PR?
I have tried using the BAPI getting the following error "Release outside filed of responsibility".
Please help I am in critical Postion...

Create internal order with reference - Do not copy distribution rule group

Hi,
I'm creating an internal order with reference to another order through tcode KO01. When i will display the new internal order, i already have distribuion rule group that was copied from the reference order. To delete the incorrect distribution rule group i execute tcode KO02, however this information do not appear in tcode KO02.
What should be done to delete this settlement rule? I do not want to copy the settlement rules from the old internal order.

in tcode kot2_opa do not maintain Settlement profile for Order category 3
Also go to KOM2 and delete Settlement rule for order, from which you copying.

ME21N Create Purchase Order with reference to previous Purchase Order

Hello Expert,
Previously have been using Purchase Info Records for reference when creating Purchase Orders using ME21N. We then have deleted the Pricing Condition in the Purchase Info Record using ME12. Now when we are trying to create a new Purchase Order with the same values (Vendor, Material, Plant and Storage Location), the transaction code ME21N automatically fetches the previous values of the Pricing Condition as if it was cached. I remember of studying this in the MM academy but I am not sure how to disable it.
This error only happens when we are creating the first Purchase Order after the deletion, for the second Purchase Order, error will be prompted to the user saying that the Pricing Condition could not be found.
I would like to ask where in configuration can I delete this cache behaviour or is that any work around for this.

I found the "Update Prices" function in the Conditions Tab of the Item Details helps to refresh the data and fetch the new information from the Purchase Info Record. I would like to ask is there anyway to provoke this function automatically everytime when a user runs the transaction ME21N.

Error while creating Return order with reference to Complaint

Hi,
We are using Complaint Management in CRM Service. After creation of Complaint, we want to create Return Order that is going to replicate in R/3 .
We are able to create Return request in CRM as a follow up document. However we are not able to replicate the return order in R/3.
We have created Return Document type CRMR in R/3 with related Item Category REN assignment & corresponding number ranges assignment.
We facing problem, as this document is not getting replicated in R/3 & in Complaint, it shows message as "The document is being distributed at the moment, and therefore cannot be changed. The document will be ready for input once it has been distributed successfully.
In SMW01, it is showing as fully processed document. However in error segment it shows as error No upload into R/3" &"R/3 Adapter is called".
Could please suggest any configuration we have missed or additional configuration to be done?

Have you check & maintained middleware setting for document transfer
(tcode R3AC1). Check object SALESDOCUMENT and try maintain transaction
type there. Don't forget to activate use tcode R3AS.
