I want to create a wave pick as in transaction vgw1 but via function modules, badi's or bapi's. Unfortunately I'm not able to find any.....

How to create wave pick document and transfer order from that document

Hi All,
I want to create wave pick document based on delivery and correspondingly want to create transfer order for that. My requirement is that if in 3 delivery i have to pick material M1 as 100, 50, 100 qty then when i create wave pick for these deliveries and create Transfer order by this wave pick doc it should pick from single bin of warehouse , currently it is picking from 3 different bins though qty in each bin is more than 250 in each bin. Also suggest me the configuration requred for this.

In Cross company code process, we have to create TO automatic by using wave pick for outbound delivery NLC (delivery type NLCC). Time data in outbound delivery NLC have been fulfilled, but there is no TO created, what is wrong in this? pls help.

Is there any requirement of TO when ECC system is Interfaced to EWM.
As per my understanding we have terminology WT & WO in EWM.

I'm working under version 4.6C, I can find the menu "wave pick" & "2-step picking", they're 2 same things or different ones?

Hi
Wave picking is used when you want to select multiple deliveries to be picked together. You select the ones you want and then create a wave or 'Group' and then create Transfer Orders for the Group.
2 step picking is when you move products to an 'interim' place and then move it to its final destination, for instance one person may 'pick' from a large area and drop the products at the end of line and confirm he has done that and then a second person will pick up the products from this area and move them to the 'packing' area maybe

ECC WM Wave picking- reversal once Group is released

We have a wave picking process, wherein a number of shipments are grouped into a wave pick Group.Group is generated
-The transfer orders are generated from VL37 (Wave pick monitor).
-A consolidated pick list is printed by releasing the Group.
-The pick list is then used for the physical pick in the warehouse and transfer orders are confirmed by RF.
The scenario is, something goes wrong after the group is released and pick list is printed.Users want to reverse/cancel the transfer orders and amend delivery.Once done, deliveries need to be assigned to a new Group, so that a fresh pick list can be printed.
The issue in the above scenario is, once the Group is released, we are not able to dis-associate the deliveries from the Group.The error message is 'Change cannot be made due to status of reference number 103 2000000009
Message no. VL826'
As deliveries cannot be removed from the released Group, the deliveries cannot be assigned to a new Group.
Is there a way to get around this?

Creating wave files

Trying to use Sound File Open, Sund File Write,and Sound File close vi on MyRIO, and received an error message indicating these are not supported by the target. Is that indeed the case and if so is there an alternative wave to create wave files with MyRio. Thanks, norm

Hey Norm,
You are correct that these VIs only work on Windows. The help explains that these VIs use DirectX which is Windows only.
There are a number of alternatives depending on what exactly you are trying to do. You could log data to a binary file, then retrieve the file and use LabVIEW on a windows machine to read from the binary file and save the data as a wav file. You could also find a 3rd party Linux library capable of wav encoding (LAME maybe?). This would likely require you to build a helper .so to wrap the 3rd party library functionality which you would then call from LabVIEW using the call library funciton node.

Can it be done?
I have about 100 .wav files that I need to convert from 48khz to 48.048khz . I'd love to be able to use Compressor's automation to do this.

Hello everyone, i was wondering or it is possible to create a picker dialog without using coding or using the external data option because there are some restrictions so my options are limited.
I want to use this because it will help your users find information much quicker and easier.

Yes, you can do that using _layouts/picker.aspx , this is the file internally used for people picker.
you can combine that with JQuery to get the values back to the caller. or see this blog -http://saikiran78.wordpress.com/2011/12/06/people-picker-dialogue-window-using-javascript/
if not then you have to create custom code to get the output you want.

use this time slot in VL35 for wave picks.
Please maintain the wavepick profile for the warehouse number

How do I open a Quicktime created wav file in other sound editing software?

A friend sent me three wav files created in QuickTime but they won't open in ANY sound editing software or players I have other than Quicktime. I need to use these for an upcoming podcast but can't do anything with them until I can open them with my editing software (WavPad Sound Editing).
Can someone please tell me how to do this?

On a Windows system you can't. There is a plugin codec for WMV for the Mac version of QuickTime, but not for Windows. You'll need to use other software.

Can I create a pick-list of customised colors in Cap 5?

Hi Folks I am using Cap 5.
I am creating/updating a set of presentations. I can only use 5 specific colors as laid out in my employers brand guidelines.
I would like to create these 5 colors and add them to the color pick list that appears for text animations, fonts etc. Ideally I would like to just pick them whenever I need them.
At the moment every single time I need to use one of these 5 colors I have to enter in a hexdecimal number into tiny little fiddly field at the top of a color picker, EVERY - SINGLE - TIME.
It is REALLY slowing me down and driving nuts. It feels like I am going about this in the wrong way.
Can anyone point me in the right direction because I can't figure it out myself.

Unfortunately there simply isn't a way to do this in version 5. But having said that, I can think of a simple way that you might make things easy. Create an image that has a "color strip". It can be vertically or horizontally oriented. Insert this image on the first slide and configure it to run for the rest of the project.
That may seem a bit odd, but here is how I envision it working. When you are dealing with almost anything color related in Captivate, you typically have a color picker eyedropper that may be used to set the color. Soooo, my thought here is that while editing, you could click the eyedropper and just choose the color to set it. And that should prove infinitely simpler than repeatedly typing the hex codes, no?
Once editing was complete, you then delete the image.

If you need to create a new command, you can use SAP Developer Studio. After deploy you will see it in
System administration->system configuration->cm->user interface->Commands.
There are examples about how to create commands.
You need to create your own layout set. This one use a resource renderer, here you must setup the commands group that you created.
After that, you create a navigation iview and layout set field you setup your layout set.

Creating waves from Soundfont with WaveStu

I'm trying to create some sound effects using SoundFont. How do I record and save them in wav format? I tried recording with WaveStudio, but it doesn't record anything I play in SoundFont. Seems like this should be a simple, straightforward task, but I'm not getting it. The instructions don't cover this. For that matter, how to I record any wave data from my pc using WaveStudio besides music?

You can draw by hand whatever impulses responses you want in the digital domain. As to whether they will faithfully replicate any of the "famous" reverb trails that some libraries go to great lengths to capture is doubtful I think, though it would be interesting to do listening tests to compare them. But given the sensitivity of the ear in the analog domain, the complex nature of impulse responses that are well cpatured from complex acoustic environments, and what you can draw with your hand - I would bet that no IR vendor is losing any money to someone trying to replicate the impulse response of the Vienna Philharmonic's hall with the pencil tool in Logic.
