Creating a new user request from the user menu

I have a menu item that calls a process to create a request for a new account (contractor/applicationID). I have the request form and workflow working, however, IDM uses the requestors context to create the request. How do I open the new view in the form and clear the requestor's user context out of the way?
What I mean is when the form appears, if I select a resource, the attribute fields all appear with the requestors data filled in. The process I'm calling has a built-in form preceeding the workflow.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try to add the the tag
<argument name='Subject' value='Configurator'/>inside your code to check in the view(i asume you use a userview to acomplish your task).

Unable to Create Fact and Dimension tables from the Tools menu in EIS conso

Hi All,
In the EIS console, I am unable to create the fact table and the dimension tables to produce my OLAP model from the TOOLS menu whereas I am able to create them by dragging from the left panel where the tables are displayed. I am geeting the below error message:
"An exception occured while retrieving OLAP model metadata. Please verify you are connected to the catalog and try again"

Firefox won't spawn a new window, either from the File menu or by right-clicking a link

I can't get Firefox to open a new window under any circumstances. Not from the file menu, and not by right-clicking on a link. This has been going on for at least a week, and I don't know what changed before it started happening.

How to get the User Id from the user interactive task?

If I need to get the user id or whoever process the user interactive task and save this information to the database, how can I get the user identity who process the interactive task? I tried the owner, creator on the execdata, but it doesn't work.

try using
Participant.id or Participant.name
in the interactivity and update this value in the database.

Trouble in creating a new iCloud account from the existing one

my dad gave me his iPad which he bought(iPad 2) it's troubling me with the iCloud account, the iPad has my dad's existing iCloud account and I want to delete it but I don't have the password so does my dad he doesn't have the password for the account.so my question is could you assist me on how to create a new iCloud account without having the password of the old one.it uses iOS 7.1.2.

You won't be able to delete the existing account in order to set up a new one without the password for the old account. If your father doesn't remember the password, he can reset it as explained here: iCloud: Change your iCloud password.

How do you create a new resource group from the new portal?

There's no option for new resource group when you click the "+" button. Am I missing something?

(Bug report) When creating a new bookmark folder from the address bar right star drop down menu, sometimes a separate previously titled folder is automatically retitled to the new folder's name at the same time that the new folder is created.

I had seen duplicate folders before, but only now just realized when they were being created (during the procedure I just described).

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

How do I create a new shopping cart in the SRM system (not portal)

I'm working on a test landscape with Purchase request WF. I want to create a new shopping cart from the SAP system, not from the portal, and this purchase request should go to a manager approval.
I've been told that I need a SRM system.

it is called planned driven procurement scenario in SRM
ECC box
1. create a Purchase request
2. Approve the Purchase request
3. now check EPRTRANS table . you might have Purchase request number ( if you have already set up done in ECC system for Plan driven procurement)
4. Run BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER job
SRM Box..
5. Now you can see your shopping cart for this purchase request (External requirement) in the sourcing cockpit.

User role for service requests from the SSP

Does the End User role have enough permissions for users to create service requests from the SSP? I know for incidents it is but I am not sure about service requests. If you go through the Service Catalog Checklist, step 5 to create the User
Role brings up a new role based on the Author role and not on the end user.

Window to create a new incident missing in the home page of a key user.

Hi all,
we facing the following problem in SM 7.1 - SP10. We test the incident opening ZMIV as key user and in order to keep read-only the field "Installed base component", we applied the OSS note 1926788.
All seems ok, but when we define a business role ZSOLMANREQU, copy from SOLMANREQU, and we assign it to Role configuration Key ZSOLMANREQU, window able to create a new incident disappears in the home page of the key user.
Let me explain with some screen shot:
Whit this configuration for business role SOLMANREQU
the key user connecting to SAP CRM has the following home page (window to create a new incident exists):
When we change configuration:
The key user is not able anymore to create a new ticket in the CRM, as you can see below. The window is missing.
Is it possible to maintain the "Create new message" window?
