Creating a QM-Notification

Hi all,
in a program I want to create a QM-Notification.
Difficulty: I did an append to table QMEL and want to write data to these fields when creating the notification.
I did not find a BAPI which has QMEL or VIQMEL as importing parameter.
Can anyone help?

IQS0_CREATE_VIQMEL
IQS0_CREATE_VIQMFE
IQS0_CREATE_VIQMMA
IQS0_CREATE_VIQMSM
IQS0_CREATE_VIQMUR
This will create notification , items , causes , activites etcc...

Try using the Bapi.
BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_CREATE
Also use this BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_TASK_COMPLETE to complete the task.(if the task is not getting updated)
Then use BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT.

Error while creating order from notification

Dear Experts,
I am getting error (No material number transferred(Message no. M3752)) when creating order from R3 notification. the material number not copied from screen to VIQMEL. This is only in few times, not all times. when i debug this, in VIQMEL-FEKNZ = X(Error Records Exist).
This is only for R3 notification. Also not in all times.
What is the problem?

Thanks, I am creating notification thru IW21. form IW22 i am creating order. while creating is gives above error. in this case MATNR not saving in QMEL. even when i am saving in IW22 it's not saving. when i am creating order from IW22 it gives above ror. but it gives error some times only, not all the times. for the same equipment i created so many. some four times only i am getting this.

To send data from XML file to SAP (any module) there are 2 ways..
1. File to IDoc and
2. File to RFC...
first Identify the concerned BAPI or IDOC for CREATION OF
NOTIFICATION ...then do the scenarios..

Confidential site - Create Due Date Notification Email with Nintex

I'm trying to create a workflow that will send multiple notifications dependant on a column called 'Remediation deadline'(This is a date field) The notifications are planned for 3 months
before the remediation date as an 'Action', 2 months before the remediation date as 'High' and 1 month for 'Critical'.
I have created a calculated field to put the date into the correct format using =TEXT([Remediation deadline],'dd/mm/yy') in an effort to run the workflow from this date if possible as the formats
are correct(Not sure if the format even makes a difference?)
I'm new to SharePoint which means my knowledge is very limited, also the site I'm currently working on is a confidential site, so I have no access to designer and if I choose to add a WebPart,
I have to send it over to another team to action which is highly frustrating as they are not as eager as me to reach my goal.
The problem I face is where I go from here with such limited access. The only notification process that works is based within Nintex, but from the documentation I’ve read, you need to
be able to run the 'CallWebPart' function. I also have 1200 records that can't be removed from the task list, I tried a loop process but it caused the server to fall over as our main server is in a different country so each loop had to bounce back and
forth through the process for each record!!
We have the availability of Nintex but are unable to use the 'CallWebAccess' function as this would require our server ID and password (and that won't be happening anytime soon).
I have created a column called 'Notify Date3' (And so on for the additional date notifications)which contains the following formula
=TEXT([Remediation deadline]-92,"dd/mm/yyyy") which I use to create the date around 3 months before the first remediation date so I can create a notification.
Any advise on the best way to process will be greatly received as i'm slowly pulling my hair out

According to your description, you might want to implement a functionality which can send notification in different date based on the value of a column.
If you can use SharePoint Designer 2010 workflow, there are workflow actions like “Pause for Duration” and “Pause until Date” which can pause the workflow for a period. Plus
with using some conditions in the logic of the workflow process, it will be able to send notification in different date.

Creating SQL SERVER notification from Oracle Enterprise Manager to Outlook

Hi,
I have a requirement to configure OEM to send an email via outlook when the SQL Server fails over to the standby server. Currently we receive emails if the CPU is high or if the agent is down etc. However, I was wondering if we could send an email when the primary sql server switches over to the mirrored server for whatever reason. This has happend in the past and we were unaware that the primary and mirrored server roles were switched. Is this possible?

As far as i know, currently we do not support this out of the box. I will file an ER for it. That said, if you are using EM 12c, then you can define a metric extension to create your own metric for failover/switch notifications.

How to create custom FYI Notification in the iRecruitment Notification Approvals Transaction type

Dear All,
Does anyone know how to create a custom FYI Notification using the Notification Apporval Transaction type??
my requirement is when the Candidate complete filling his personal information and upload required document, a notification should be sent to the recruiter informing that all documents have been uploaded.

BAPI_ALM_CONF_CREATE - Create confirmation for maintenance/service order

Create PM orders/notif with inbound IDOC

Hi all,
Anyone knows how can I create a PM order and a PM notification with inbounds IDOC?. If there are not IDOC available, it´s possible create PM order and notification trhought BAPI´s?.

Have a look at BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN for PM Order and BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_CREATE for PM Notification.
You can check the BAPI's from transaction code BAPI.

IRecruitment Create Vacancy Approval Notifications

Hi,
I have a client that wishes me to modify the content of the Approval Notification/Message sent to the approver. Is this possible and how to you do it?
In the User Guide it mentions using Application Developer and changing the messages but it is very limited and does not allow me to change this particular message.
I have looked at the workflow 'HRSS' but it uses the generic approvals workflow but I can't see how it generates the message. It mentions in the User Guide to use XML and business events but again gives very little detail.
Can anyone provide more information on how to do this?

I have edited one of the Rules created in Transaction Type: iRecruitment Vacancy Approval. Under the Actions Section, I have added the approver 2,3,4

but due to this change the approval is going to be in the sequential direction, for example APPROVER 1, APPROVER 2,3,4 then HEAD OF HR1,2 instead we need who ever approve first then it goes to 2nd level and approved by one of the head of hr as I mentioned above. Kindly tell me this action type I am using for this is correct or should we need to create another action type or should we need to amend approver group SQL statement or any other way which we can acheive the desired goal. Error message when try to create a Service Notification - IW51

Hi Everyone!
When the customer try to create a new Service Notification (IW51 transaction), they receive an customized error message: "No pricing reference material for material [item code] not able to save". The price appears on the quantity contract by through of the Condition Price. So, I checked it this condition price on the VK13 transaction and it was inputed correctly and it is valid.
Do you have any idea where can I verify what is the problem... Any tips will be welcome!

How to create send mutliple notifications

Hi,
I created a workflow for one of our module.
My task is to create a workflow for all running projects. Each project contains different jobs and tasks. Each job owned by different Partners/Supervisors and all jobs may be executing dffferent location (may be different country/ inside one country diffent locations). Project can only close after finishing the related jobs and each project managed by a manger.
So I need to initiate process once a project started, then workflow send email/ notifications to all supervisors/partners about their jobs and task.
I this purpose I create a one Workflow with 2 process.
1) First one will collect all superviosrs/partners and thier jobs/taks.
2) Second one will send notification to these partners and Superviosrs
My Question is How I can excute the second one from first process. First one will initate the process one time , depends upon number of supervisors/partners sencond one will excute more than one time and send notifications to each partners and supervisors.
Also I want to get an all job completed flag from second process, that will return to first process then first process will update the project status to closed. So first process will wait until all supervisors/partners send a completed response.
Somebody can help me to achive this.

I would like to know, aboce code I pasted correct or not. Current sututation is my parent workflow starting and detail workflows are also initiating properly. Bu I am not able to keep track of detail workflow are finished or not. In this detail workflow contains more than one process.
if somebody can clarify the follwoing
1) How I can start a multiple instance detail workflow from parent
2) How I can get the status of detail workflow instances, (that means workflows instance responses like approved/Reject, Complete/Incomplete)
3) How I can continue parent workflow after finish the detail workflow.

FM to create plant maintenance notification

Hi all,
Could anyone help me with this problem! Notification is not getting created when i call the standard BAPI BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_CREATE. I have called the BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT .
Tha BAPI returns a notification number .But when i check with this notification number i get a message Notification doesnt exist.
Can anyone give me a solution for this.

Need a bapi which creates and assigns notification to maintenance order

Hi,
I am currently using a bapi "BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN" in PM to create an order with its operations. Now my requirement is to create and assign a notification to certain types of orders. This bapi is not able to handle notifications.

Since this issue is resolved long back I don't remember everything related to it. But as far as I remember, the behavior of transaction IW32 is such that, while saving the work order, it cross checks with table T350. If field "NOTDAT" in T350 is checked for that order type then it automatically creates a notification and assigns to that order. I just made use of this behavior and used BDC approach to solve this issue.
