Creating booklet w/center stapled fold

I am looking to create a booklet on legal size paper (landscape orientation) that will be multiple pages stapled in the center and folded in half. How do I format this project such that in the end I can export it to PDF and send it to a printer and print it, staple and fold it and have a booklet. Is this possible? I am looking to get away from an unnecessary depedancy on Publisher

There sure is a way. Use Pages in Legal size (vertical) to layout your booklet. Then use CocoaBooklet to create the booklet as you described. Get it here <http://www.iconus.ch/fabien/cocoabooklet/>
It's really neat and will assemble your completed booklet properly. (The legal size sheet reduces to the proportions of one page in legal size horizontal with two pages per sheet.)

I Am Begging for URGENT ASSISTANCE Using Create Booklet Service for Pages

I work for a Church; I prepare numerous bulletins weekly and while I am tickled to learn of Create Booklet Service, I need to know why in the "tutorial" of Create Booklet Service it says that when I am in the PRINT menu, and click on PDF at the bottom, I will have the option to click on "create booklet" ??? NOT ON MY SCREEN? I also have a problem with how tiny the print turns out when I was experimenting with this program, no matter how I changed the font size, OR INCREASED the size (on the navigation on the right of the screen) It still prints very tiny which will not work for many of our "mature members" HELP on this please!
May I please impose on 2 other small questions that are driving me nuts (I am converting from a lifelong PC user to Mac--which I adore) HOW DO I BACK UP to the last "motion or keystroke I made?" on the PC up on the top left is a circle with an arrow which will take me back "one task, if you will" I cannot figure out how to do this on the mac

when I am working in Pages and I am adjusting text that I am typing ; on the PC, if I want to "bring a sentence that is divided between to lines" up together to join them; I could simply hit DELETE and the spaces would continue deleting until my broken sentence was joined onto one line? This does not happen on the MAC the DELETE Key simply deletes back.
ONE MORE QUESTION:
Why when I am copying and pasting a document from the PC to the MAC (trying to convert all my weekly projects from the PC to the MAC) the clip art, photos etc do not copy with the text? Very frustrating in the conversion process.

You can if you have installed the Create Booklet Service in a service folder you can either first Export the Pages document to PDF or you print to PDF directly and choose Create Booklet.
When you create the document have have already chosen which paper size to use. I use A4 but my guess is that you are american and uses legal. i don't think you should manipulate the %.
You don't have to bother your brain with landscape or portrait format. That will the application do.
If you find that the text is too small for your readers create a document with lets say font in 14 or 16 points.

Create an association in the folder options control panel.. pop up dialogue

Installed on a win XP OS:

I keep getting this pop up dialogue box whenever I click go to Database Homepage.
"This program does not have a file attached with it to perform this action. Create an association in the folder options control panel."
I'm planning to learn Oracle and SQL*Plus so I'm not sure what version I need for basic usage. I only need the SQL command line and probably an application that can create database or tables easily.
Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thank you.

I tried to type http://localhost:8080/apex into my browser, the result is:

The SQL command line is working, but just going to the Database Home Page would result to that pop up dialogue box. Any idea why this is happening? Thanks.

I am creating a work center and i get the error , activity type not set up in cost center ( error message cr061) . I tried doing all the possible settings , tried in kp26/kp27 . but didnt work . Can anyone give me the solution .

Profit center document created but profit center not updated in FI document

Hi Experts,
I have a strange issue; we created FI document via billing document (SD) where in profit center document got created but profit center is not updated in FI document.
We have separate table to identify the profit center by customer.
Please let know what could be the cause or reason for this kind of scenario

So if you remeber what needs to be done for this issue thats very good help to me.
My Requirement is : I have created Service Entry Sheet by referring PO and while releasing this Service Entry Sheet system is generating MIGO Doc and FI documents in background.
And I have updated PERNR (Persnoal No.) in MSEG-SGTXT by using enhancment but it's not populating in BSEG-SGTXT.
And I found an internal table while debugging i.e ; like ACCIT (not exactly ,similar to this ) where i have updated pernr and sgtxt but same thing will not available in FI Doc display (BSEG-PERNR or BSEG-SGTXG)
So could you plz suggest what needs to be done to achieve this. Im assuming that, is it possible through BTE (Business Transaction Events) ?. if yes, plz tell me how to proceed.

Unable to create the Profit center groups

Hi,
We have created new company codes in R3Dev and also created the
validation rules for the same. We have assigned the Set ID's to the
validation rules. These Set ID's gets created when profit center groups
are created for the new company codes.
We have transported the company code configuration settings and the
validation rules to R3QA.
Now in R3QA, when I try to create the profit center groups in KCH5N for
the new company codes, it says "the group already exists".This is
caused due to the SET ID's which also got transported along with
validation rules. I have checked the table 'SETHEADER" which shows the
SET ID's for the new company codes.
Could you please a solution to resolve this issue.

Hi Mohan,
Since Set Id's have moved to quality along with vaidation rules, I am to create the profit center groups, as it says the group already exists. I believe the set Id's need the master data maintained in R3Q, before they are transported. Since this is not maintained, with the transport, the data is sitting for Set Ids at the table level (Table: SETHEADER), because of which I am to unable to create the profit center groups.

Create an image / map of folder structure in Finder

Hi there,
I am reorganizing some data that I want to make available for others later on. In order to facilitate the transition for them it would be extremly helpful if I could create a map of the folder structure. I am thinking of something like a mindmap which shows a folder and then each subfolder underneath it. It doesn't need to show the actual files within those folders.
Is there any way to have something like that created automatically? Or maybe some software (freeware would be best of course).

Sorry. Pretty sure only restoring the phone as new will clear those cached addresses. It's been an issue for a while, haven't heard anything about an update changing that.

If you assigned the Std Hierarchy to the Controlling Area while the CCtr Create screen was still open, get out of that screen and try to create the CCtr again.
Else, go to OKEON and maintain a hierarchy for the Controlling Area. Create a group or two below the Std Hierarchy and then try to create the CCtr.

Thank you for contacting me, however I already know how to save text to
audio files via timeline using the Export feature.
So my question was not entirely clear and I apologize for that. To explain
further, whenever I save a text to audio file, captivate takes me to a
default save as folder where I then have browse back to my production
folder where I am keeping all my Txt to Aud files. This is very tedious
process when you have alot of files to save. So my question was is there a
way to configure captivate so I can make my production folder the default
file for whenever I save a Txt to Audio file through Export feature that
the system automatically takes me to that production folder, and I am
spared the long tedious process of saving the file manually to the
prodcution folder I want.
I have copy the pathway to the production folder in the URL filed in the
Save As dialoge box and that workaround as cut the work down but I still
have to paste that URL field to point the file to the right folder. So it
would be nice if I could do everything automatically. Microsoft makes this
capability in their MS Office applications, so I was thinking Adobe might
do the same thing. Your help with this would be appreicated,

How can I create nested directory on FTP folder if they don't exist. A local file is suppose to exactly uploaded in the same directory structure level in ftp folder. My question is -
1. Is there any C# opensource/free library that take care of creation of all sub-directories from file-path, if they don't exist on ftp and upload the file in one shot.
2. How much it will be feasible to make all these uploads along with some database update, archive, quarantine task in asynchronous? All succeeding tasks are sequentially depends in their order.i.e. ftp upload >> database update>> archive
from local >> quarantine the folder
This really requires parallel & asynchronous operation for heavy upload/transfer and going to be done by a Windows-Service.

Some times it happens, when we write the right thing but it means something else and this is the reason many experts have replied, "how to raise an alert". So if you remove the word "Sender File adapter" from your subject then it will be easy to understand the exact meaning.

I want to use The Duplicate Finder to get rid of duplicates in iphoto. I created a library as a folder on my desktop and droped it into Dupe Finder. Many dupes were found. Before I have it auto select dupes, should I trash the photos in iphoto? Or will Dupe Finder do that for me automatically?

1 - if you want to remove duplicates from your iPhoto library you would not be using a copy of it
2 - don't do anything without a good, current backup
3 - reading the Duplicate Finder web site does not tell me tha tit is safe to use on the iPhoto library - i suggest you use one of the known good and tested duplicate eliminations programs - see this discussion for links - https://discussions.apple.com/message/24363132#24363132
4 - One cardinal rule - NEVER make any chnages to the structrure or content of the iPhoto library using any porogram (including the finder) other than iPhoto - the programs listed in the linked discussion use iPhoto to do the deleting
