Creating linked Hierarchy in DRM...........

Question

Hi,
I want to know if there is any way to create a linked hierarchy...
we have several hierarchies in one version and when we add a node to a particular hierarchy that node also get added to another hierarchy. I want to implement the same with other hierarchy.
Does any one know how this can be implemented???
Really appreciate if any one can put some light on it..

Hi,
I am not sure if I completely understand your question but I am guessing what you want is to add a node in multiple hierarchies. The best tool for that in DRM is the Automator tool.
Use the following format on your notepad file. "Add" is a command that is used to add a node in a hierarchy. In column 2 and 3, you specify the version, hierarchy, Column4 is used for Node Name, and Col 5 is to mention its Parent Node. Column 6 is to mention if the node is going to be a leaf or not (put in a 0 or 1, I generally use 0 as default if I do not know).
Add     Version     Hierarchy     Node     Parent Node     Is a leaf (0 or 1)
Add     Version     Hierarchy     Node2     Parent Node2     Is a leaf (0 or 1)
Create a txt file like this, go to DRM --> File --> Automator.
You load this txt file, (referred to as script file) and view the result. The DRM Automator section in the DRM pdf admin/user guide will provide you more information on other things that you can do with the Automator.
For your needs, you can just mention the Hierarchy you want the node to be added and it should do your job. Hope this helps.
