I have created a class report/program.
How do I create a screen for it?

Hi Megan.
If you created the screen and insert you parameters now you have:
1- Left click mouse in Program in Se80 and click new -->Pai and create.
2-Left click mouse in Program in Se80 and click new -->Pbo and create.
Now click in screen to See the pbo and PAI
Example.
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
MODULE STATUS_9000.
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
MODULE USER_COMMAND_9000.

Here you are looking to have report prompt and report on the same page which is not possible.
If you still want to achieve this ..then create a report with all columns say reprot1 and report2 your prompts.
Go to dashboard ...add ...report2 prompts on the above...report2 with all columns 1 down...
Now when you see .....report prompts on top and report on down....now when you select some prompt it will take you to the new page....
Use guided navigation.

LSMW - create equipment with class/characterisctic assign

I'm create LSMW with below setup. I would like to create an equipment with class and characteristic assign to it.
There will be 3 upload file to be used. How I can do a linking between Equipment data with Classifcation/characteristic data? Some equipment in upload file may not contain class.

Picklist printing from Sales Order screen with Crystal Report

When attempting to print a Sales Order, we get a dialog box that allows us to choose either Sales Order or Picklist. Prior to moving to a Crystal Report based report, this dialog box would appear each and every time we tried to print the Sales Order. (Our process requires that we print the Sales Order to our Document Warehouse and then separately print the Picklist to a physical printer.) Now that we are using Cyrstal, the dialog box to select the form appears for the first print job, but when we try to print the other form, we no longer get the option to choose which form to print. The second attempt at printing then defaults to which form we printed first.
Under Print Preferences, it appears the box to "Print Picking Sheet" only applies to PLD. Other than closing out of the Sales Order Form and opening it back up again, is there a way to force SAP to allow me to choose which form to print each time I click Print?
And since we're on the topic, Is it possible to set up a print sequence to print the Sales Order to one printer and the Picklist to another one?

Are you on SBO 8.8 yet? If so which patch level?
There is a Print Sequence functionality built into this version (although we don't use it at our company at the moment). 8.8 will also allow you to attach Crystal Reports to any document (with a little work) and they will print just like a PLD document (albeit in a Crystal Viewer).
If you are not on 8.8 yet, how are you pulling up the Crystal Report for the the Sales Order? I'm guessing you are using some add-on to do this since the 2007 Crystal add-on didn't really handle document layouts very well.
I can expand on all of this if you want. But I'll need to know what version/patch level of SBO you are on. My company is on 8.8 PL15.

How to display the variable screen with report in the same page together

our customers want to design a web application use BEx
they want the variable screen can be displayed with the report result in the same web page together
so they can modify the variable filters any time and refresh the report with new variable filter
i have tried the navigation area,but it seems only use new filter to the data athough get,we can't change the filter we input in the variable screen.
is there any way to display these together?
even I can use BSP.

I think to display var screen with the report is not possible.(At least it will not be static). You need to refresh the report and choose the varibale at that time.
Other option could be to bring all the possible value in the report and provide your user with the filter value. But this will make your report slow as you may have to bring more data in the filter.

Selection screen for HR report with logical database PNP

Hi All,
I am writing a HR report. And I use the logical database PNP. Also I create a HR report category for this report. In the report category, I can define the selection screen field. But all these fields are selection option format. My question is How can I add parameters, radiobutton group and checkbox in the selection screen. Thanks.

It can also be something with your custom code in selection screen. Though it works fine for, try to remove COMMENTs and observe the result. Maybe parameters are overlapping somehow. First try this:
SELECTION-SCREEN begin of BLOCK blk2 WITH FRAME TITLE text-002.

parameter BFlag type c RADIOBUTTON GROUP grp1.
PARAMETER FFlag type c RADIOBUTTON GROUP grp1.

If that works together with the report category, try to extend it with adding a selection-screen comment, but do this in reversed order (comment goes first and FOR FIELD addition is supplied) like this:

PARAMETERS RefDate type DATS.
SELECTION-SCREEN begin of line.

If still not working, see if text-003 and text-004 are not too long (you expect them to be 10 chars), This may somehow affect selection screen.
You may also try with setting cursor position explicity by:

SELECTION-SCREEN POSITION 3.
SELECTION-SCREEN COMMENT (10) text-003 for field bflag.
parameter BFlag type c RADIOBUTTON GROUP grp1.
SELECTION-SCREEN POSITION 16.

It is really hard to identify where can be a bug as it is working fine for me. Keep trying with different variations, it should finally run with some.

I need some help in designing a screen where I can open EPS(Encapsulated PostScript) files and AI files(Adobe Illustrator) and edit them. I need the screen with scaling units along X and Y axes. A spool should be generated with the report screen which can be later used

There is a transaction ZJPVOM301, After I execute this transaction for the program, it generates a report of the sales order and gives the details like Document, Date and processing status. Now the requirement is:
REQUIREMENT:
A spool should be generated with the report screen which can be later used for tracking purpose i.e,
Transfer programs SAPMZJPV301 and ZJPVOM327 need to be fixed so that the result of processing is stored in a spool, to be printed out at any time. Currently, if there is a problem in processing, a report is displayed at the end of the program run, but it is not saved anywhere. If the user does not save a screen shot, it is very difficult to trace problem areas in this program. Plz. kindly give me the reply as early as possible.

Sorry for delay in reply. I don't think this can be possible from front end without involving SQL dbo users table. If you found any other alternate please share here.
You can get site collection / sub site user details via

Problem with creating my own class...

Purpose with this program:
I want to create my own class StringThing which take a string parameter and transform the content toUpperCase().
I have created a simple class StringThing which look like this:

Strings cannot be modified. What this line does:
u.toUpperCase();
is to create a new String object. toUpperCase() returns the newly created string and you are ignoring the returned value. What you want to do is:
return u.toUpperCase();
or
u = u.toUpperCase();

get all the modified entries and store them in an internal table and udpate them in to the required transaction or your custom table.

here u need to 2 performs for PF status and USER_COMMAND in the ALV parameters.
create a custom PF status and create push buttons and assign your ok codes in your PF status.

My selection Screen is a very big one. It contains around 30 select-options.
So is their any standard method in which you can choose whether you want to take the output printout with or without Selection screen.
