A spool should be generated with the report screen which can be later used

There is a transaction ZJPVOM301, After I execute this transaction for the program, it generates a report of the sales order and gives the details like Document, Date and processing status. Now the requirement is:
REQUIREMENT:
A spool should be generated with the report screen which can be later used for tracking purpose i.e,
Transfer programs SAPMZJPV301 and ZJPVOM327 need to be fixed so that the result of processing is stored in a spool, to be printed out at any time. Currently, if there is a problem in processing, a report is displayed at the end of the program run, but it is not saved anywhere. If the user does not save a screen shot, it is very difficult to trace problem areas in this program. Plz. kindly give me the reply as early as possible.

Use FM : <b>RSPO_SX_OUTPUT_TEXTDATA</b> to create spool , if report output data is available in internal table.

This is called Target Display mode, unfortunately this isn't possible with a current iMac unless the PC Laptop has a Thunderbolt outpout port which I'm certain it does not. Please read both Target Display Mode Mid 2011 iMacs & if you are interested Target Display Mode 2009 & 2010 iMacs.

Can I align the orientation of axis labels in a graph generated with the report generation toolkit (Word)?

I was wondering how to align the axis labels, i.e. 90 degree or such when creating a graph with the report generation toolkit in word.
I can do it after the document is created through Format axis title -> alignment but is there a way out of LabVIEW?
I'd especially like to rotate the y-axis label by 90 degrees.

I think he means he can modify it by hand after the report has been generated... But what I want to do is generate the word graph out of labview already with the rotated axis label...
After I posted this I found out that we can do this with a macro and use it from labview, but unfortunately I don't know VB, or VBA...

When I generate a "Standard Report" (to a printer or PDF) with the attached code, the output looks like this:
If I instead use the same code to generate an HTML report, the output looks like this:
Can anyone explain why the HTML output has had the extra spaces stripped out of it?
Is there anything I can do to prevent it from happening?
VI is attached (LV v11.0.1f2) but this is what it looks like...

OK, thanks. I guess I'll end up living with it the way that it is because
using either method seems to also have the side effect of causing the output to become double-spaced and
the only reasonable place to implement the change (so that it did not also impact the "standard report" output) would be within the report generation VIs and I'd rather not be modifying them.

Oracle reports 6i error unable to communicate with the reports server

Hi,
I have followed the steps for running oracle reports server 6i..i am using win2k3 and IIS6.0
i have checked tnsnames.ora and sqlnet.ora and everything looks good..
when i try
http://localhost/cgi-bin/rwcgi60.exe
i get a page called User Database Authentication and asks for username,password and database..instead of the help page that should be displayed..
when i enter those values nothing happens for the first time and the same page is displayed again..when i enter it again i am getting this error
url requested not found or cannot be served at this time

any help would be grateful..

http://localhost/cgi-bin/rwcgi60.exe?key1
where key1 is a key mapping file that contains the report name,username and pwd for the database and desformat...etc..
the report pulls out fine with the correct data..
i am stunned...
while none of the other commands like
http://.../rwcgi60.exe
or
http://..../showenv?server=repserver
or any other usual command doesnt work...
anybody faced this before??

There a few reports of issues, but those expereincing them are in a very small minority. I've never had issues with either of mine.
My suggestion would be the refurbished 3rd generation. A refurbished unit will have had a little extra testing and basically be a new iPad. Also, the 3rd gen has a faster processor and a better screen than the 2, and will run Siri (the 2 won't).

How do I use page numbering and a text block in a footer in Word with the Report Generation Toolkit?

I am creating a Word document with the Report Generation Toolkit, and LabVIEW 8.2.1. In the report I am using a template that has page numbering enabled in the center. When I try to add a text block to the left side footer, it eliminates the page numbering and adds my text on the left side. I found "Set Report Footer Text" and "Word Set Page Numbering" vi's that may be the clue to this. When I use these two vi's I either get Page 1 of 456789-001 on the left side, or if I reverse the order I get only 456789-001(text) in the left side with nothing in the center. What I would like to achieve is 456789-001(text) on the left footer, and Page 1 of 2 in the center. Is this possible and if it is, then how can I do it?

I have attached a vi where you can see how they can be made to work together. You have to design it such that one follows the other. If you don't design it that way, it results in a race condition and only one of them get executed.

RRI Problem in EP - An error occurred with the report to report interface

I have a problem with a template: In standalone the RRI call works, in EP the same template fails with "An error occurred with the report to report interface during the jump" and details "Notification Number BRAIN 192"
The JS-code is: SAPBWOpenURL(targetLink);
In both cases (standalone, and in EP ) the targetLink is
/sap/bw/BEx?SAP-LANGUAGE=EN&PAGENO=1&CMD=RRI&RRI=X&RRI_RECEIVER=QURY0001&REQUEST_NO=2
However, standalone it works, in Portal it fails with the above message.
Any idea?

Error: Unable to communicate with the Reports Server

The configuration I am working with is:
* Oracle 8.1.6 DB on a Unix machine
* Oracle Reports 6i on an NT machine
* Microsoft IIS web server
I have successfully tested my reports during the development phase of my project. Unfortunately, now that it is considered production and is available to upwards of 30 people, I am getting the following error message after verifying the server is up and after a numerous reports have been served:
Error: The requested URL was not found, or cannot be served at this time.
Oracle Reports Server CGI - Unable to communicate with the Reports Server.
After receiving this message I noticed that the Report Server service is down and the log only indicates that it "shut down immediately". (no ORA messages) I tried restarting the service, but after serving one report, it would shut down again with the same message.
I am wondering if it is a problem related to the cache. I used the default of 50M in the config file, but when the cache directory reaches 50M, the problem seems to appear. I then deleted approx. 30M of files from the cache directory and the Report Server service appeared stable. I changed the cache limit to 1M to see if there was a problem with the cache being so big. All appeared well for the first few hours of operation but then the Report Server service shut down again and upon restart crashed within a minute or two (usually as someone tests a report, it crashes again).
Do I have a configuration problem? Has anyone seen this problem? Thanks in advance.

I have a prompt on a report and when i run the report i will first get the prompt after i select the prompt elements then it will take me to the report and i have a request now to put the prompt on the same screen with the report. I am curious to know how i can do that. Could you please let me know

Here you are looking to have report prompt and report on the same page which is not possible.
If you still want to achieve this ..then create a report with all columns say reprot1 and report2 your prompts.
Go to dashboard ...add ...report2 prompts on the above...report2 with all columns 1 down...
Now when you see .....report prompts on top and report on down....now when you select some prompt it will take you to the new page....
Use guided navigation.
