Creating structure

I am using this new interface of BI to create a query.
My requirement is as following.
I have a field on the reports that reads as FILL OTD. the values for this field is 0 or 1.
This field is populated depending on the 2 KF Promise Date and Request Date. If Promise date is <= Request Date then It is 1 or otherwise its 0.
How do I accomplish this in my query.
If possible please give the step by step solution.

Hi,
in the query designer. Right click on the columns, choose new formula. Then enter the formula "Promise date" <= "Request Date". If the formula is true the value will be 1 otherwise 0.

Configurator provides a "Custom Import" capability to automatically create structure. It is documented in Chapter 5 ("Populating the CZ Schema") of the Oracle Configurator Implementation Guide.
However, setting up a custom import may actually take you more time than just creating the Options manually in Configurator Developer. If the Options need to be duplicated across several Models, it may be advantageous to build them as Items in the Configurator Developer Item Master instead, and then use Populators to automatically create corresponding Options within your Option Feature(s).

Creating structure for FIAR_C03 cube reports.

Hi,
I want to create structure for report in 0FIAR_C03 cube. of which requirement is as follows.
-          Analysis of how old AR items are in days (key date for reporting minus the net due date),
-          what the balance of the open items are (USD and local currency),
-          Reporting by the country of the end customer,
-          GL restriction. We only want AR trade items, not intercompany.
-          Drilldown to FI document number and line number.

Creating Structure in Query Designer

Hi All,
I created one Balance sheet report based on Remotecube 0FIGL_R10.
In Query designer i created one structure under that i defined Asset , Liability , Cash , Account Receivables , Inventory like that. and each of them are restricted by G/L Account . in keyfigure i have Balance. Now when i tried to run the report it doesnot show me result. while data are existing in to Remote cube.
Did i forget any settings in designer or If i create structure in BEx then do i have to set any properties please let me know.

Create structure in Dynamic ALV for color and editing cells

CREATE DATA gdo_handle TYPE HANDLE go_tdescr.
ASSIGN gdo_handle->* TO <gt_itab>.

Hi,
I think you mean query strrucutures in Query designer. Goto rows/columns. Right click on columns and choose new structure. Now you can define all fields for your structure. Right click and choose new selection or formula. Then right click and choose save as. Now you can save it as reusable structure for other queries.

Error while creating Structure

I am getting an error while creating a Structure.
After filling the required fields in Components tab and Currency/Quantity filed tab, when activated it says "Warnings Occurred during activation" "Do you want to see the log?"
when i click "yes", it displays

You are getting these warnings because you have not assigned an enhancement category to your structure .
Try to assign a enhancement category for the structure .
1. open the structure in change mode .
2. then Extras -> Enhancement Category and choose an enhancement option .
3. save and activat ethe structure .
4. Your structure wil be activated now without any warnings .

Create Structure with dynamical Table-Type

Hi experts,
is there a possibility, to create a structure via SE11 and including there a field which referes to a dynamic table-type.
So that I can append to this structure-field all different table-types?
for example: ones I append MARA[] and ones AFKO[]

Hi Christian,
There's not predefined generic type to do that, but you could create your own field type (deep structure) which would be able to keep table lines after transposition (90 degree flip) where in example it would have four columns: Table type, row id(index) field name, value. That way you could store ANY table row you need... This will not come cheap and will involve some work of course.
You may want have a look at standard ABAP services RRTS and RTTI (see classes and structures used in attributes an parameters) - these are two services for handling data types and metadata related operations during runtime. You may want to use them for flipping your table entries to the tabular form and so on. You may also find some ideas there on how to compose your own data type for your purposes.

However, please bear in mind that you cannot limit access to certain payroll area with structural authorization. For that you should use standard PA authorization object (you can use field organizational key to store Payroll Area VDSK1 in IT0001):

Creating Structure for reports

Dear Friends,
I am working on a forecast report. I do have a selection for Data entrry month and the report needs to show the forecast of next 12 months (0calmonth) starting from data entry month. I know this can be done using a structure, but dont have any idea how to create and assign one. Could anyone help me for the same?
Data entry month have similar characteristics as 0CALMONTH

HI,
If Data entry month is similar to 0calmonth, check if you can find the variable that is used for data entry month under calmonth.
1.If yes then in the filter section of the query add a interval restriction with this data entry month variable to data entry month variable + 11 for the info object 0calmonth.
Then add this 0calmonth under the column section above the Keyfigure.
2.If the the data entry month is not present under calmonth then create a customer exit variable for calmonth and in the customer exit read the data entry month value. Then use this new calmonth variable instead of data entry month variable and follow step 1.

the problem that i cant insert this type to fildcatolg( i must do it because it build me the field)
so max some days ago said:

Creating RFC with out manually creating structure on client place

HI all,
I have developed some RFC to be used by EP applications. In these RFC i am using some structures in IMPORT, EXPORT and TABLE . I want whatever structure and source code i have developed to be copy to some file which i can directly use it to create RFC on my client side while deploying rather than creating manually all the structure and pasting the source code on client side again.
