Creating subtotal in a table view

I am using Siebel Analytics 7.5 version, I don't see the ∑ symbol on the column options (along with filter, properties, sorting, etc.). Is this feature is not available in this version.

If the grant worked, i thought of creating the schema like
create schema epp authorization sas
Then for removing the schema (as there is no drop schema command for the version mentioned above)
i would have done this,
use master

alter database ss set single_user with rollback immediate
drop database ss
exec sp_droplogin 'sas'
I referred the online book but not of much help on this.
Is this is the correct way to drop/delete a schema on every run of database setup

Terminology.
When you write “schema” I will guess that you mean ‘database ‘rather than a security schema within a database.
User.
A user is an object that belongs to a database. In your create code you added the user sas to the master database. If you want to add that user to the ss database you have to create the ss database first, then USE database ss; before you sp_adduser. If you are using SQL Server 2005 use CREATE User not sp_adduser.
To DROP a database you DROP the database. All the objects in the database including its users are dropped with it. The Logins belong to the server and they can be dropped before or after you drop the database though if you drop a Login and don’t drop a database that has that Login as a User you orphan the User.

In table view, how to add one button for selecting page?

In the OBIEE 11.1.1.6, we have one uncommon requirement that customers want to randomly select actual page to view expected data in table view.
For example:
We make use of some columns to create one report in table view, and set 'Rows per Page' equal to '5',
if this report contains 60 rows, it will have 12 pages, so customers want to select sepcial page number to view the some data. Is it possible to implement this requirement? Maybe we should write JS code.
Note: Below table view, it has four buttons: First Row, Previous Row, Next Row and Display (500) rows in per page. So we want to add one button to select per page.
We look at orgnial codes in WebBrowse, but do not know the following codes derive from which JS file.
Could you please tell me how to find this file?

Thanks for listening me.
I agree 11g have some issues unlike 10g. I've tried the same by creating a measure rcount(1) and name it as Page in RPD. I just pulled column Page in pivot table section 'Pivot Table Prompts' it is working but this may not answer your requirements.
I would suggest to use the column in Prompt and go by between operator to allow user to select the rows between.
In the report make Page as prompted.
If you are okay with this can look forward to tweak it further, like values in the prompt multiple of 5 or 10s some thing like that.

JavaFX table view headers bug?

I created simple application with table view and I have problem with the way that table view headers are displaying.
When table view is not focused headers are improper width but when table get focus then headers width is changing and everything is working as expected.

You should run this app without problems becouse it is embeded SQLLite databse. Look into SqlLiteDB class. You can even delete database.db file becouse sqllite driver will automatically create database.

At max how many columns is advisable to create in a table/view

Hi All,
I have two transaction table from which i want to create a simple view or materialized view. But the number of columns is about 200. So i want to know at max how many columns is advisable from the performance point of view.
Even though i will create 200 columns in a view , for a perticular client installation i may not use all the columns.
one more thing i will never use 200 columns in the select statement . At a time i will use only 4/5 columns.
It may happen from this four column one column will be the 1st and 2nd column will be the 200th one.
I want to know how it affects the performance and in which scenario . Please help if any body knows or already faced this kind of scenario.

As u said MV should be done with minimum possible column . what can be the maximum column in MV ..??It would be defined by the limits on:
* The maximum number of columns that a table can contain
* The size of the query needed to define the select statement
* Limitations on queries needed to maintain the data

you need to call method cl_hrrcf_iterator=>get_bee_link to define the link for a specific filed.

How can I create a Table View in Cocoa Applescript?

This is my last resort. I've searched for days and only found tutorials for iPhone and Cocoa, and I have no idea where to start. I'm looking for a way to create a Table View, and fill it with a few cells that call a handler when clicked. I've looked through the Xcode help, the Apple documentation, and countless tutorials, and I don't know what to do. I'm sure what I'm asking is possible, because usually what is possible in Cocoa is possible in Cocoa-Applescript.
Perhaps something like:
myTableView's addCell_OfType_WithHandler("This is a text cell", text, "myHandler:")
I would appretiate any responses and brief descriptions on the matter.

That should populate the table with simple text. if you want something more complicated (like buttons or links) then create the more complicated elements separately and add them to the data.

Unable to create visual composer table view from the Bex Query

Hi
I am trying to create the visual composer lay out from a Bex query. The Bex query contains a set of Key figures and a structure.
These key figure and structure combination is forming a table in the query output. Key figure parameters are coming as rows and Structure parameters are coming as columns.
example query out put:
Total, HPC, FDS excel ICe etc are as Structure elements and coming as columns in query out put and
Invoice value, Gross sale value, Efficient operations etc are as Key figure elements in query and coming as rows in query out put.
But if I map this query to visual composer table view all these are coming as columns as given below.
Total Invoice value , Total Gross sale value, Total Efficient operations, HPC Invoice vale,.........
And if execute the query will giving the out put in single row.
Can anybody help me out to map this in the row column format?
Is it really possible to do in VC?
I am using CE 7.2. The VC model I need to be embedding in BPM.
Please help me to solve this issue. I completely stuck up this issue.

Try to use some function module which will convert query data into flat tables. (eg., RS_VC_GET_QUERY_VIEW_DATA_FLAT).

Create a table view in my BSP Application!.

Hi All,
I am using CRM version 4.0 here i want to crate a new table view in my own BSP Application and want to display in the CRM_IC Application.
The problem now i am facing is.. there is now provision to create the table view via the wizard. I tried to copy the BSP code, changed the code accordingly also i changed the inheritance for the context node class from
CL_BSP_WD_CONTEXT_NODE to CL_BSP_WD_CONTEXT_NODE_TV.
i also copied the iterator attribute.
still the view is coming with an error saying that page have some problem.
can anyone suggest any easy method to create the table view!.
or else can you tell me what i have to do further!.

In the above code i have given
table    = "//Address/Table"
here the 'Address' is defined as a page attribute type ref to the context node class ( CL_CRM_IC_BUPAMOREADDRESS_CN01 ).
the same class is used in the CRM_IC application works fine!.
also i entered the attribute entry for the 'Address' in the _CTXT class the view.
still the same error 'page cannot be displayed'.
what could be the problem anyone plaese help!.

Whenever you start a program in which selection screens are defined, the system displays a set of input fields for database-specific and program-specific selections. To select a certain set of data, you enter an appropriate range of values.
For further information about selection screens, refer to Selection Screens in the ABAP User's Guide.
If you often run the same program with the same set of selections (for example, to create a monthly statistical report), you can save the values in a selection set called a variant
Procedure
To create a new variant:
       1.      On the ABAP Editor initial screen, enter the name of the program for which you want to create a variant, select Variants, and choose Change.
       2.      On the variant maintenance initial screen, enter the name of the variant to be created.
Note the naming convention for variants (see below).
       3.      Choose Create.
If the program has more than one selection screen, a dialog box for screen assignment appears. The dialog box does not appear if the program only has one selection screen. The selection screen appears in this case.
       4.      If there is more than one selection screen, select the screens for which you want to create the variant
5.      Choose Continue.
The (first) selection screen for the report appears.
If your program has more than one selection screen, use the scroll buttons in the left-hand corner of the application toolbar to navigate between them and to fill the fields with values. If you keep scrolling forwards, the Continue button appears on the last selection screen.
       6.      Enter the desired selection values, including multiple selection and dynamic selection.
       7.      Choose Continue.

How to create updatable summary for columns in table view

ADF BC and Faces, i have got a table view where user can register hours for each day of the week, for which i'd like to create summary(sum-up)fields that display the number of total for each day, and it is updatable at run time(i.e. when numbers are put in, summary fields get updated automatically).

Create Table/View with Validity Date Control?

Hi,
does anyone know the easiest way for me to create a custom view that uses validity dates to control records by time periods, similar to time constraint 1 infotypes in HR?
For instance, if I define a table to store entries like so
Client (Key): 100
PSubArea (Key): C001
Grouping (Key): 01
End Date (Key): 99991231
Begin Date: 18000101
and I want to ensure that there can only be one record active on any given date, how can I prevent someone from creating a record from 20061107 - 20071107 that overlaps the existing record?
Is there a setting I missed?
Add conditions to generated view coding? Is there a good example?

Using interface builder to create a table view and add a cell

So I am using interface builder to make a table view. Should be easy. I drag a table view controller to my view, then it seems I should be able to drag a table view cell to the table view but it won't let me drop it down. If I do it in the documents window it just replaces the table view with a cell. Seems like this shouldn't be hard, but it's one of those things that should take 2 seconds but I have been messing with it for hours. It seems like most of the examples I have looked at in the same code don't use iB so I haven't found a good reference. If somebody can point me in the write direction let me know.

I struggled a bit too. Here's what I did on my recently completed app. I used IB to create the basic view and add the table. That's it. Then ensure your UIViewController based class implements the UITableViewDelegate and UITableViewDataSource protocols. Your cells will come from those methods, not anything you do in IB.
If you're creating a set of screens that just have tables that allow you to navigate up and down through the data then IB isn't worth using at all.
Just have your views extends UITableViewController and follow some of the supplied table based example apps.
I rewrote my first app 3 times as I slowly figured all of this out.

Creating a pivot table view with two levels of headers

Hi,
I have a requirement in which i need to have a common heading for two or more columns.
For Example, I have two columns like total number of loans and Total loan amount. As per my requirement, i need to give a common header 'Total loan' as the main header and amount and Count as two subheaders under the main heading in the pivot table.
In table view, i would be able to make it using the display column and table header property. But, i need to get the same in pivot table as we have to use pivot table view instead of table view.
Please Help me on this issue.

Hello,
create one column in criteria and change it's fx to case when 1=0 then Products."Prod Name" else 'Tota Loanl' end
Now go to pivot and drag this column to Columns block of pivot. But keep this column up of Measure Labels and Now, go to column Format values.
Mention cell horizontal alignment to Center
see the following screenshot, Header is the column i created with the above functionality.
