Creating website, how to let client update?

Question

I have a client that saw my personal website I created and
now wants to know if I can create theirs. I use Dreamweaver, but
client does not have it. How can I create a website in DW that is
updated by a client without DW? The updates would only be text and
some photos for a photo gallery. Thanks!

You would need to be able to a) make a connection to a
database, b) pull a
recordset from that database that is relevant to the current
page, and c)
allocate that content in the recordset to the page, as
needed. You would
need to build a back end for the database that would allow
the client to log
in, and edit the content to be affixed to any given page.
It's a big bite, but it's do-able with a little help. Post
