Creation of DTP - Development in BI

Hi ,
There is a function module 'BAPI_IPAK_CREATE' to create Infopackages.
Similarly is there a FM to create DTP also.
This is for an ABAP development. Or any classes/objects can be used to do this.
There is one FM "RSBK_DTP_CREATE_INTERNAL". The output of this FM is not a ID.
Please suggest.

Problem during creation of DTP

Hi,
I am creating a dataflow for populating the text table of an infoobject.
The extractor is a domain type extractor.
While creating the DTP for it, i am getting an error saying "Subfield access (offset = 0, length = 3-) to a data object of size 30 outside valid limits."
Any idea what this error might be due to? i looked into the extractor, and its structure and the fields are automatically generated by the system once after i enter the domain name and save it.
All the fields like long texts, short and medium texts length are automatically set by the system.

Can you please explain at what stage this error is coming. Is it while activating. Are you getting a long text for that error message. And also is there any dump.

Automatic RFQ creation without Z development

Dear all, Is it possible in standard SAP functionality to generate RFQ automatically for the material for which soarce list exists. I want to generate RFQ for all vendors available in soarce list.

I dont think in standard procedure it is available, we can create PR automatically after MRP RUN and then PR to PO atuomatically with ME59 etc. but automatic RFQ i dont think it is possible.

How to transport the DTP

Hi Guys,
I have created one new info cube and transformations and DTP's on the info cube in development. Now i want to transport info cube and transformations and DTP 's to quality and production system.
i am tryting to collect these objects into transport in the transport connection and i have selected my info cube and
and i selected the option "Data flow afterwards" in the Grouping
it dsipalyed only info cube name and transformations and info object, it didn't display the DTPS , so how to collect the DTPs and transport DTP's to quality and prodcution system. Please suggest me if i miss anything there.
and also i have another question is
do we need transport DTP from Dev to quality and Production systems or do we create DTP in each system seaprately.
Please suggest me how ti proceed. Please share your thoughts on this.

Hi,
If you want to transport the DTP just double click on your DTP -
select GO TO menu--Object Directory Entrygive the package name and select the request in which you want to collect it.
Regarding creation of DTP in QA and PRD itself that varies from client to client.Some client give authorization to create directly and QA and PRD whereas some want everything to be transported form one system to another.
Also read about object chageability as well.

Are you referring to the page's appearance in the program or to a printed book?
To change font settings, select the photo or text box, then click the Text tools at the left of the screen.

When i try to use photo creation, message says photoproduct.exe can't be found.

Photo Creation- successful install, will not run. Help

Photo Creation- It said successful install, When I run it it goes to scree saying starting up and stays there It will not run.
Can anyone help? Help

HP Photo Creation and Internet Explorer 9?

Does HP Photo Creation work with Internet Explorer 9? When IE 9 was released i had to uninstall it to be able to use HP Photo Creations. Has your software been updated yet in order to function with IE 9?

HP Photo Creations - Save as image file

I've just spent the best part of 3 hours creating two photo collages in this application and cannot for the life of me see how I save the project as an image file.
The only option I have found is to save it as a 'project'.
Please tell me I haven't wasted my time?
I even shared it somewhere, rocket something or other. Can't do anything useful with it from there either. So I'd like to know how I can delete the published project too please.

The Share function in HP Photo Creations offers sharing via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, email, web link, and embedding. In addition, people with whom you share the project can print it in full resolution. How else would you like to share your projects?
Incidentally, here's how I used Microsoft's Snipping Tool to capture an image of the fullscreen preview on Windows 7:
Launch Snipping Tool. Choose Rectangular Snip mode.
Click Full to set HP Photo Creations project to fullscreen mode.
Press Alt-Tab to call up Snipping Tool.
Press Alt-N to create a new snip.
Click and drag around the area you want on the HP Photo Creations window.
As mentioned above, the sharing option creates a link to a printable (and re-sharable) version, so it's a better-looking approach. Again, let us know what you're hoping to do with your images and we may be able to suggest a way to do it.

FM to create DTP

Hi All,
Can any one let me know the SAP standard FM to create a DTP.
Where in I would be able to enter all the required parameters and then the required DTP is created.
I tried this in BW 3.5, there is a BAPI present for this. However, I did not find any such FM in BI 7.0.
Please let me know.

Hi,
The FM: CCMSBI_DTP_CREATE does not exist in BI 7.0. I tried in BIT IDES server.
I had already checked:
RSBK_DTP_CREATE_INTERNAL
RSMMR_BI_DTPA_CREATE_CHANGE but they don't help.
RSBK_DTP_CREATE_INTERNAL would take to a screen for creation of DTP and then it stops. Neither DTP is created nor any further action is asked.
Any thing beyond this?

Where is the Unlock button in HP Photo Creations to move a Photobook page?

I am trying to create a Photobook. I fail to find the Unlock button in the Storyboard to change the position of a page in my book. Please help if you can.

Hi Una.
Thanks. I understand what's happening now. It's not possible to move the pages of a print-at-home book, because the program is designed to allow you to print each page individually. If you're adventurous, though, here's a trick you can use to preview the pages side by side: Set your region to United States, which will enable the ship-to-home projects.
Note that changing the region requires you to restart the program, so if you've started a project, be sure to save it first. Next, click the Globe button and select United States from the region list.
Next steps:
If you had started a photo book pages project, click the Open button to open it.
Click the Full Catalog button.
Click the Ship-To-Home tab and select one of the ship-to-home books with the same shape (for example, landscape).
Click the Apply Design button to copy your design to the ship-to-home book.
Edit as desired.
Click the Catalog button.
Copy your design back to a print-at-home "photo book pages" project.
Print.
Remember to set your region back to Ireland when you're done.

Are you saying you want to delete your projects?
Before you do that, consider saving them to a flash drive or uploading them with the Share button. If you click the "personalize and print" checkbox, you'll be able to print your project again or make changes later. (See image below.)

Photo creations on Windows 7

I have Windows XP and Photo Creations is awesome. I'm getting a new computer and will have Windows 7 . Will I be able to download Photo Creations?

We're glad you like HP Photo Creations. When you move to your new computer, you can bring your HP Photo Creations projects along. Just copy the entire project folder to the new machine. Then if you want to reprint or edit a project, just click the Open button on the home screen and select the project folder you want.
