Creative Cloud Upgrade

Within the last month, I purchased CC PS & LR for $9.99/month.  I see tonight this offer: 
For a limited time, you can join a special Creative Cloud plan. It includes access to Photoshop CC and Lightroom desktop, mobile and web, plus feature updates and upgrades as they are available, 20 GB of cloud storage for file sharing and collaboration, and a Behance ProSite. And it's just US $9.99/month when you sign up for a one-year plan.
Can I switch my plan to this one?  I know I can cancel my plan within the first 30 days then sign up for this, but I would rather just switch.  Can I do so?

I have access to Photoshop and Lightroom - downloaded to my computer. The new offer I saw last night additionally has Lightroom mobile and web added for the same cost.

    Improvements to handling fonts
    The font list in the Font menu has been classified based on system fonts and web fonts. The system fonts are listed first in the menu.
    The Web Fonts Manager (Modify > Web Fonts) dialog is renamed to Web Fonts Suitcase. You can use the Web Fonts suitcase to add web fonts to the fonts list.
    The Add Fonts button is renamed to Add Local Font.
    Can't an "Improvement" like this be pushed out to all versions.  Renaming the interface is only going to cause confusion with people who have issues here.

    Automatically Upload Files to Server on Save
    This option allows files to be uploaded to the server even if a parallel upload or download process is in progress during the save operation. Some issues with this feature in the previous release have been fixed to make it seamless.
    When you say previous release here I assume you mean 12.0 (CS6) which was released as Cloud and non-Cloud.  Correct me if I'm wrong but you say you are fixing issues in the previous release so this would mean this "fix" would be available to all Dreamweaver CS6 owners not just Cloud because you have fixed an issue that was created by Adobe and the feature itself is not new.  Is this correct, or what does Adobe define as a fix or patch if this definition does not constitute one?

  • D/L the creative cloud upgrades fro LR 2015, PS cc and Bridge and came back a 1/2 hour later and CC indicated the d/l was complete.  When I click to start LR 2015 nothing happens.  I cannot get LR or PS started.  Previous versions start.

  • Struggling to get apps to work after single app to creative cloud upgrade

    Hi All,
    I have had the Photoshop CC for a while and upgraded to full creative cloud today.
    It still says most of the apps have run out of trial period time even though i have now purchased?
    Any assistance on how to fix this?

    My copy of Creative Cloud tells me that it has upgraded my copy of Photoshop CS6 but the program is still registering as ver 13.0.6x64. How do I get the upgrade to work?

    Adobe are currently offering a special offer price for people to upgrade from existing Creative Suite versions to the Creative Cloud.  What happens in 12 months time? Do you pay a lower "upgrade" price or do you have to start paying the full price as though you were a new user?
    Does this system effectively abolish upgrade pricing?

    Also keep in mind that at any point Adobe can ( * and no doubt will ) raise prices further in the future once you're switched and locked in to using the Creative Cloud subscription model.

    Volume license customers are  eligible to take advantage of promotional offer for Creative cloud for teams and retail customers are eligible for the discounted price of Creative cloud for individuals.
    Now if you have volume license and you are trying to buy Creative cloud for individual then you might get the above error message or
    If you have a retail license and you are trying to purchase the Creative cloud team.
    You can please check the kind of license you have and then accordingly you can purchase the subscription.

  • CS5 suite on computer still valid after creative cloud upgrade?

    I have the creative suite CS5 on my computer given to me from my company. I was one of their computers on the purchase. Now the rest of the team has upgraded to the cloud. When i open my desktop version it asks me for a serial number, and when i input says it is no longer valid. Shouldn't my computer version still work even though they upgraded?
    Did the upgrade in validate my programs?

  • Creative Cloud upgrade download problem

    I have had several service Chats that allowed the service person to take contraol of my computer for up to 3 hours and none has been able to solve the download problem.  I get messages that say updates available but attemps at download get Error Codes 205 and 81.
    I am a subscriber of 2 months and have only the initial program downloads.  No updates. Any help with this?

    Hi Peter,
    Generally the installer will tell you which applications need to be shut down in order for an installation to proceed
    You can usually shut any needed applications by clicking on their icon on the dock and the using the menu with the application name to quit. Example: Photoshop > Quit. You can also click and hold on the icon on the dock and choose quit, open applications have the dot below their icon on the dock.

    I just bought the Creative Cloud upgrade and have a few questions I can't find answers to.  First - do I still need to leave the CS5 apps on my Mac or can I uninstall them?  and second, can the new CS6 apps be installed on an external drive as opposed to the main Macintosh HD?  This is mostly just a space issue.
    Any help here would be much appreciated.

    Here are the answers to your questions.
    1. Yes, you can uninstall CS5 apps from your machine. as you already have CS6 installed which is the updated version. So, in case of space issues, you can uninstall CS5.
    2. Until that external drive is not a removable one, you can install CS6 onto that. But its always recommened to install on local drive.

  • Need to Prevent Adobe Application Manager for upgrading to Creative Cloud

    I have successfully packaged Dreamweaver CS5&CS5.5 via Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition v2.1 and after a successfully deployed via SCCM Dreamweaver runs perfect. Unfortunatly upon the first launch of the icon on the desktop of "Adobe Application Manager" it's self upgrading to Creative Cloud.  This is a problem.  In this enterprise deployment I have updates set to manual and my AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat is set to the below which should be preventing this to my understanding <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <Preferences> <Suppressed>1</Suppressed> </Preferences>

    is to have the deployment delete the two “Adobe Application Manager.lnk”
    icons from both the desktop and the start menu for each OS version.  Not
    exactly how I would like to have to do it however my
    “AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat” does not seem to block Adobe Application
    Manager from updating.

  • Upgrade to Creative Cloud 7 days ago - still no access to full products customer service not helpful

    I upgraded to the full Creative Cloud access on the 13th of April through customer service. I saw a promotional offer for $29.99/month for access to all the CC apps, but since I was already signed up for Premiere Pro CC at $19.99/month it said I needed to speak to customer service to upgrade.
    I did that. The customer service rep upgraded my service to $29.99/month and assured me that I would now have access to the full creative suite.
    You can see that I was billed for $29.99 on April 13th:
    After that upgrade nothing changed on my end. I had full access to Adobe Premiere CC like before, but otherwise all other programs(photoshop, illustrator, etc) still downloaded and ran as trial versions. I contacted customer service two more times. They were unable to resolve the problem and only escalated the ticket.
    I have not had any response from either ticket. And looking at it now it looks like one of them is listed as "withdrawn" with no notes from Adobe's end and no resolution to my problem. The other ticket is still open pending Adobe's response.
    To top it all off today in Premiere CC I received a notice that I would lose access to Premiere in 5 days because of some error in the billing information. So in 5 days time I will be paying $29.99/month and have access to zero Adobe products.
    So I'm writing this post in hopes of actually getting someone that can solve my problems to take a look. I don't want to spend another 2 hours in a chat-box with an overseas customer service rep who only copys and pastes pre-formatted responses to me. I don't want my ticket escalated and then ignored. I want the service that I paid for, or I want my money refunded.
    What I think happened is that the customer service rep who upgraded my membership to the full creative cloud suite forgot to flip some switch. It seems like they increased my billing rate but didn't actually change my subscription.

    Please don't tell me to try logging out of creative cloud, or deleting files on my end, or check my DNS settings, or any of that. I've been through it - twice - with your customer service reps already. It did nothing. The issue is on Adobe's side. Somewhere in some database my account is not set to full creative cloud access. There is nothing I can do on my end to rectify this.
    Please - I would either like this rectified, or have my money refunded. Anything else is unacceptable. And as a whole my experience with customer service has been frustrating, unhelpful, and not up to the standards I expect from a high-class company like Adobe.

    Have you logged out of your Cloud subscription and then back in?
