Creator and simple HTML objects like HR

How can i add simple HTML things like <HR> etc to a jsp page when using creator.
And also how to create a page which also contains things like a table to containing just some multiline static textual information etc in creator.

Note that you can add the horizontal rule directly - just switch to the JSP view and add it (but make sure you use XHTML syntax; e.g. do NOT use <HR>, you must use <hr/> (notice both lowercase and / at the end.)

I have ran your code and understood your issue. But I cannot find a standard answer. z-index property cannot work with such a object tag. After some search on the web, I find this may be a workaround for this problem.

Measuring length and width of objects

I want to use photoshop cs6 extended to measure maximum length and width of objects (like in the picture below).
Does anyone know how to do that? Is it also possible to do it automatically?

Would a measurement using the Ruler tool accomplish this? Trace over your green line with the ruler then read distance traversed between endpoints of the line in the ruler tool options bar.
You then could determine perpendicular width by rotating the image such that the green line is vertical.* Then measure width with a horizontal line.

I have tried generating just the tables and that's the only way I know to dump a database using jdeveloper. but is there a way to generate a sql file with your db structure and also other objects like views, triggers, sequences and etc.

You may need to use utility(which may come with your DB) for creating DB dump

You might consider changing the syntax in use and specify the DN of the OU on which you would like to apply the permission.

these objects are depend on your interest.
actually there are three types of tables which stores the information about objects:
1. user_objects: which contains all the objects that are owned by the owner of the schema.
2. all_objects: this shows you all the objects that are acccesible to you, i.e. may be you can have access on some other user's objects.
3. dba_objects: which shows the objects in the database.

I would like cut out an object using the quick select tool and drop the object into another picture. Can anyone help

I am using background pictures and want to cut out objects from other jpegs using the quick select tool and drop them into the background picture. So if i have a banana and select the object i need to copy the banana into the other background.

Select banana. Right click>layer via copy. Move tool. Click and drag to other file. Drop on image.
OR: load the background and banana in one stack (File>Scripts>Load File Into Stack). Select banana and layer via copy or create layer mask.

Simple sound object and TotalBytes

I built this simple sound object below:

To me I added a listener to the s instance. I am waiting for the
s instance to finish loading the entire sound s.
I can't figure out why the trace displays nothing.
Have I attached the wrong event to look for when
the sound completes loading?

My requirements are only load a html document into an object (HTMLDocument for example?), search a couple of particular tag or string, treat the text found between these tags like a block, repeating the content all the necessary times, and replacing a special string within the text for another one.
Here an example:

Newbie asks about embeding flash video in simple HTML

Big newbie here. Appreciate any help. Just point me to an appropriate forum.
I was using DivX but, I wanted to try Flash.
I am NOT using any formal publishing software - just simple HTML I'm using <object> and <embed> tags to display a flash video.
Everything seems OK but, I want controls (play, pause, volume, etc) for the player and I want to display an image when the video isn't playing.
This stuff is common on other web sites so I know it's possible. But, I can't seem to do this with parameters. What am I missing?

Simple HTML page HELP needed

Here's my dilemma:
I've got this simple html page that I've made with
dreamweaver CS3. On the starting page I want to put a section
called "NEWS", under which there would be essentially a texfield
with the news. Now, I don't want to put the news text in the html
code. Rather, I'd like the code to somehow take this text from a
separate text file which I could edit at will and simply overwrite
on the host server so that changes are seen in browsers.
I don't need a real CMS (besides, CMS is way over my head).
Just this one text field. I've tried with the textfield/text
area/HTML object/etc. in the 'insert' tool but none worked. Can
this be done at all? Appreciate any help.

You can do this with a server-side include. The first thing
you need to
do is to find out whether your hosting company has enabled
server-side
includes, or if you have access to a server-side language
such as ASP or
PHP. The way that you create a server-side include is
slightly different
in each type of setup.
When you have found what your remote server supports, someone
can give
you further instructions.
