Credit Check Total reporting question

I have a question about Credit Check Total reporting a late.  I have been working very hard to rebuild my credit.  So I am paying very close attention to how I pay my bills.  My question is this According to Credit Check Total I had a late payment 18 months ago on EXP and EQ.  I know I haven't been late on anything in almost 4 years.  I do have several cc chargeoffs from 2010 and early 2011 that still show balances and have been gradually one by one settling or                       paying these off. So I guess it's possible one of these has reported the account and makes it look like a new late,  But then again I           wasn't able to start doing this till bout 6 months ago.  So IDK.  My problem is I can't figure out where the late is coming from.                     Anyone got any ideas on how to spot this.  I will take any and all suggestions on how to find it.

An account that has been charged-off is, by definition, seriously delinquent. The fact that they charged-off the debt does not end their ability to report prior or add new delinquencies. If a delinquency is reporting, does it not show a month/year?Have you inquired with the creditor? RobertEG  I have read enough on here to know absolutely you are right.  My problem is I can't seem to find the late  Probably can't do anything about it either way.   I would just like to be able to put my finger on what it is.  I have looked at the last reporting date of each of them, the last date before chargeoff, the chargeoff date, nothing matches 18 months agl. I'm perplexed. It;s just one of those weird things that is on my brain because I can't figure it out.  LOLOK, looking at my CCT page I think I know what you're seeing. It's on the overview page where it lists whats affecting your credit, correct? In mine for instance it says "Time since late" and then "4 months". I know that there are no late payments from 4 months ago, however there ARE collection accountsthat updated that recently. I think that is what you are seeing is not a late payment, but rather collection or other derog that last updated 18 months ago.Yep,  that's exacly what I see,  Just wish I knew what it was.  Don't like not knowing.  Oh well, I'm gonna just keep doing what I'm doing.  Keeping Util low,.  Paying on time and continuing to pay for old debts.   Thankyou for taking the time to help

  • Credit Check Total

Well, I did the 7 day trial with Credit Check Total, and called today to cancel. I told them price was the reason and they offered a 50% discount good for 24 months. EQ/TU reports pulled and FICO 8 scores updated three times a month, with Experian pulls and score updates daily. Not a bad deal at all for $14.95 a month. I took the deal and cancelled the 3 bureau monitoring from here. They wanted to know why I cancelled and I told them I got a better deal from Experian for three bureaus at $14.95. At first she said "well, you know those are not FICO scores..." and I said "no, they are FICO 8 score and match the scores here exactly, its a new program they just started" She seemed surprised by that. Maybe it will start pushing the prices for monitoring services down to more reasonable levels. I'll just purchase a report whenever I need to see where my mortgage score are sitting. Ex FICO is up a point to 593 today, BTW. (tiny little happy dance)

I've had experian credit tracker since about feburary this year and like it alot. I signed up for CCT about 15 hours ago, so i could find my EQ fico, noticed how similar it was to experian, and thought nothing of it. Today after reading this, i called up experian, threatened to cancel because of CCT, they claimed the only reason someone else received the long offer was because they were part of CCT for an extended period of time. I say okay, well cancel experian anyway, i'll pay for cct. I call up CCT(THE SAME EXACT NUMBER AS EXPERIAN)  to cancel and see if i get the offer, i go the automated system way, automatically offers me 50% offer for 5 years. not sure if its the automated system, or a person difference, or if it's because i had experian for the past 6 months, but either way, i now am rolling with CCT, with seems like it's basically just experian with more. Question on CCT though, i know my experian score can/will update daily, but will the EQ and TU only updated...whatever it was...3 times a month? or is that just about receiving the report? I really don't care what my report says since i can get that from CK, i'd just like to see daily changes with my EQ when things report, rather than having to time everything out. Edit: the rep also had no idea of any 5 year offer. She claimed the only offers there were for cct were for 1 or at most 2 years. Fwiw I had already talked experian down to 10 a month back in February and for $5 more to get the extra 2 scores is a no brainer.

  • Is Credit Check Total the same as Experian credit tracker?

Any difference in the two? I use Experian, but wondered if there was a better deal with CCT??

  • Orders going on credit check hold in oracle

New sales order is getting hold even there are open credits (Unapplied Receipts & AR Account Credits with open balance)
    Example
However there are open credits (Unapplied Receipts & AR Credits with open balance) to the tune of $200
If we don’t consider the AR Credits, the Outstanding Invoice Balance is “$900” .
To this if I add the Outstanding orders in OM for this customer as per the “Orders on Credit Check Hold Report”- $250—That will put the total balance as $1150
This balance exceeds the credit limit of $1000
To prove this theory I have applied some Invoices to the $200 receipt there by bringing down the open Invoice Balance and then entered an order and that new order did not go on Hold.
Is this the solution to get rid of hold or its something else?
    Thanks

This could be one of the solutions.
Alternatively, you could review your Credit Hold setup to check that what all transactions are being considered when calculating the credit amount.
Also there is a concurrent program which needs to be executed so that the calculation is refreshed periodically.

  • Standard report to check total cost (WIP) or before transfer to fixed asset

    Hi All,
Is there any standard report to check total cost work in progress (WIP) or cost before we transfer to FXA (fixed asset)
    Please advice.
    Thank you.
    Nies

    Hi,
You can use the report RKA_SETTLE_TABLES_COMPARE for finding the WIP awaiting settlement. You need tp pass object number for executing this report. For getting the object number, you can use report:RKACSHOW.
If useful, please close the posting.

  • Static Credit Checks - Open orders - Confirmed quantity vs total quantity

We are using static credit checks. Credit currently only sees open orders with a confirmed quanitity.
Customer orders 10 items we have 5 in stock. Credit check runs, credit is evaluated basd on the confirmed open quanitity of 5. The order gets a credit block. Credit rep releases the order.
A few days later the balance of the order arrives in the warehouse. The remaining 5 are confirmed on the order. Since the confirmed quantity has been increased and subsequently the confirmed open value, the order goes back to credit.
We frequently encounter this situatuion and are looking for ways to reduce the number of credit round trips.
If we wanted to base the credit check on the total quantity / order value, as opposed to the confirmed quantity / value what do we need to change.
    Insights are appreciated.

    Hi cann
As you are going with static credit checks, system will check the order and if it exceeds it will throw an message (error , warning )
Now again , if you create another sales order , that value will not be taken into consideration , system again will check for the credit limit amount
    For example :
    credit limit - 10000
    sales orders - 1010, 1011
    1010 sales order value - 11000
    1011 sales order value - 10500
Now when you create a sales order system will check the credit limit 10000. and once you save it and create another sales order (1011), again system will check for the same credit limit 10000.
The credit limit gets reset  once the order is saved ,in static check
Now any open quantities are there means and when it gets confirmed then system will check for those open quantity also
To minimize all these use dynamic credit check

  • Credit check for existing Verizon customer

Hello!  I am looking for some assistance.  I recently received an email from BB about a 2500 point Reward Zone bonus for buying a new phone w/ a two year plan.  I am currently on my mother-in-law's family plan but due for an upgrade.  After going through all the checkout steps, I was met with a request for a credit check for my mother-in-law.  This makes little sense to me, as we have been Verizon customers for years and have a total of four accounts with them under this plan.  If we are longstanding customers with Verizon, why does Best Buy claim Verizon needs to do a credit check?  I know one wouldn't be necessary if we were to go to an authorized Verizon dealer for this purchase.  So how can BB claim the check isn't for themselves when Verizon already has no issue with the account's credit?
I would love the bonus points but I'm not about to dent my mom-in-law's credit with a credit check.  It sours me on ever going through Best Buy for any mobile service in the future.  If Verizon is fine with the account and the current credit status, why does BB force one on us while claiming it's for a company that alreayd has no issue with the account holder's credit score?

All credit checks are done through the carrier. Verizon does periodically request updated an credit report, even when performing an upgrade. This same process would take place no matter where you get your phone -- Best Buy, Verizon corporate stores, or other third-party dealers.

  • Credit Management: Difference Between Static and Dynamic Credit Check

    Hi,
Could anyone tell the difference Between Static and Dynamic Credit Check?
According to website: http://www.sap-basis-abap.com/sd/difference-between-static-and-dynamic-credit-check.htm ... this is the answer:
    ====================
    Simple Credit Check : Tr.Code - FD32
It Considers the Doc.Value + Open Items.
Doc.Value : Sales Order Has been saved but not delivered
Open Item : Sales Order has been saved , Delivered, Billed & Transfered to FI, but not received the payment from the customer.
Static Credit Check it checks all these doc value & check with the credit limit
    1) Open Doc.Value / Sales Order Value : Which is save but not delievered
    2) Open Delivery Doc.Value : Which is delivered but not billed
    3) Open Billing Doc.Value : Which is billed but not posted to FI
    4) Open Item : Which is transfered to FI but not received from the customer.
Dynamic Credit Check         1) Open Doc
                                                2) Open Delivery
                                                3) Open Billing
                                                4) Open Items
                                                5) Horizon Period = Eg.3Months
Here the System will not consider the above 1, 2, 3 & 4 values for the lost 3 months.
    ====================
Question 1: Could you further explain the above information, if there is any?
Question 2:: What is the Tcode to customize settings of:
    a) Simple Credit Check (isn't this same with b) below?)
    b) Static Credit Check
    c) Dynamic Credit Check

    Hi Tanish,
Diff between Static and Dynamic Filters.
    Example One at report Level.
Create a variable for a Infoobject say ,Material .
1)In the Query Designer and if u restrict it to some 10 materials at query level, the report will display for only those 10 materials only. This is Static Filter.UR AHrdcoding it to those materials. You cant change them at Query Run time.i.e not changeable by user.
2)If u give the variable as input ,and when u run the query ,u can can choose the material, may 10 may be 1 or may 20 .It is dynamic.Changeable by user at run time
Example Two at DTP and Start Routine Level, say Document Type.
1)If u give filters in Start routine it is Static as u cannot change it in Production, not changeable by user.
2)f u give filters in DTP it is Dyanamic as u can change it in Production.U can give any doc type,Changeable by user at run time.
    Hope it is Understood.

  • Pre-Approved Credit Check Problem

Okay. This is really a god awful nightmare. I am from Washington D.C. and I bought my phone in Boise, ID. At the store the gentleman asked me if i wanted to do the credit check there to save me a trip if I didn't get approved.
I agreed and was approved with no deposit. They gave me a pre-approved credit check number.
Upon filling out my billing information in iTunes I enter in the Pre-Approved code and the SAME address I gave the man at the store. I then get an error saying that they will NOT accept this code because the addresses do NOT match up. Therefore I have been unable to even begin the activation process.
I called the number they gave me. They told me I had to go to the store to fix it. I went. The people at the store looked at me like I had broccoli coming out of my ears. I was there for three hours (having been there for three hours for the phone) when they eventually told me to come back tomorrow.
I called the support line again. We hit a brick wall. All in all I have been transferred atleast five times for a total of five hours on the phone. I want to return this blasted device but they are demanding a 10% restocking fee for SOMEONE ELSES mess up.
So let's do the math. I waited three hours. Had a credit inquiry posted to my report. Paid $600. Talked to support for over five hours. And made a 20 mile drive three times.
I DO NOT WANT THIS PHONE ANYMORE. However. I would rather eat the $600 then pay the %10 percent return fee. A big EFF YOU to apple and at&t.
Now if I finally do get it activated I look forward to waiting another four days for it to work.

Well all the information I am putting in is valid, not made up. And still nothing!
    Anyone successful with this?
Also, if I just skip putting in the code I get further in the activation, up to the point where it tells me my three options with AT&T. At this point there is a LINK that says "I have a pre-approved credit code", but that link just returns you to the very beginning page (same as starting over)... wonder if it's broken or supposed to work that way?...

  • Dynamic Credit check

    Dear all,
Iam facing one issue , while saving the sales order, getting error as"Dynamic credit chek has been exceeded xxxx inr"
new customer created with out assign credit control area
credit customer master data has not maintained with limits.
at sales doc type as assigned the credit group.
my question is : how system has showing error based on which criteria, upto yet no transacitonal data for this cusomer.
plz sugest to raise the SO.
    regards,
    NAr

    Hi,
Since you said, you don't have FD32 record for this customer, I would assume this is not due to your "Automatic credit control" settings which we do under OVA8.
Therefore you should be using "Simple credit check" facility in SAP.
Please check what is maintained under the transaction OVAK for your sales document type. If you have "A" or "B" or "C" under the column "Check Credit", then you're using simple credit check.
If you look at the SAP documentation given under that IMG node, you can clearly seebelow.
The SAP System checks the credit limit which was granted to the customer in this credit control area. The credit control areas and the credit limit of a customer are defined in financial accounting and entered in the customer master record. During the check, the SAP System totals the receivables, the open items from special G/L transactions and the net value of the sales order for every item of a sales document. The open items take into account obligations bound by contract which are not recorded for accounting purposes but which involve expenses through diverse business transactions. The total is compared with the credit limit. If the limit is exceeded, the system responds in the way defined by you in the configuration menu.
And also please check whether you have maintained a risk category and the credit limit in the Credit control area setting under the IMG path.
Enterprise Structure -> Definition -> Financial Accounting -> Define Credit control area
And also chcek below link on the credit management config

  • Is Credit Check Per Line Item in Sales Order  Possible?

    Dear All,
Hope you all are doing well !!!
Infact i am currently implementing OPM and SCM modules for a CSD (carbonated soft drinks) industry. They have a specific requirement on Credit Management. Please look at the Requirement Below.
Credit Management Per Line on SO
Client Charges Distributors for both Liquids (Finished Product) + [Return Glass Bottles and Shells) for the First Time.
Subsequently while returning RGB(Return Glass Bottles)'s and Shell's are being given Credit memos.
CBL gives credit only on Bottles & shells but not on Liquids.
For Liquids CBL takes the Prepayment & Its Compulsory.
So the Credit limit needs to be check on the bottles and shells only.
Oracle E-Business Suite Credit Management does not work per line item for a
Particular Sales Order. It works on total Sales Order. as this is not a standard Process in Oracle how we can achieve this without customization.
Please suggest me through any workaround we can achieve this and its a show stopper for us and business critical for my client. Please help me on this regard.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Aditya

I'd suggest writing your own might be easier. Oracle buckets the exposure as per the list below whereas you are probably only interested in seeing a total order exposure (by line item for bottles/shells) and total AR exposure summary.
Also the standard report will look at the unit sell * the ordered quantity in calculating transaction amounts on open orders which is your problem. If I've understood your requirement correctly, you only want to consider the shells and bottles in the credit check because you enforce prepayment for liquids so presumably your AR o/s balances are only for money owing on shells and bottles.
In that case, your only real issue is at the order entry stage (again because Oracle will be considering the total transaction value if you're using the standard automated credit check) which is why I suggested the manual workaround there.

  • Credit check for Partially delivered order

    Dear Gurus
We have a scenario where we are releasing a sales order (vkm3) forcefully since it is exceeding the dynamic credit check.
Now when we do a partial delivery for the first time it is working fine, But when we again try to create a delivery for the remaining qty it again gives the error of "dynamic check exceed".
My question is : why is it again showing the error msg at the time of delivery inspite of the sales order being released once. We have not made any changes in the Sales order. still we have to relaese the sales order everytime we create a new delivery for that released sales order,
    Can anyone suggest anything
    Regards
    DDP

    Hi DDP,
Info structures are updated daily/weekly/monthy basing on your configuration. The Info structure S066 in Transaction OMO1 is for credit. These Info Structures are used for different purposes eg reporting, for updating credit records etc. So once you release the order, the release would hold for one day, so you can do any number of partial deliveries on that day. But again on the second day it would be blocked for credit and updated in S066. For more information on Infostructures, you can search forum.

  • AP Check Display check total on all pages

    Hi,
I am working on AP check report. I need to display Check total on all pages(in case of overflow invoices). Only for the very first OutboundPayment group the check total is populated under PaymentAmount/Value and for rest of all overflow invoices(OutboundPayment group) this value is 0. I need to display the check amount on all pages. I have created a check_total2 variable to capture the check amount but this variable does not get the check amount on the first page. Now I am trying to use decode to display the check total. But when I use decode function, the values not displaying correctly, it is showing some random number/characters.
    Variable defintion - <?xdoxslt:set_variable($_XDOCTX, 'check_total2', PaymentAmount/Value) ?>
    Decode Condition - <?xdofx:decode(PaymentAmount/Value,'0',xdoxslt:get_variable($_XDOCTX, 'check_total2'),PaymentAmount/Value)?>
    Below is the data -
PaymentAmount/Value check_total2 Using Decode Value Expected
    105050 NULL NULL 105050
    0 105050 709D3D73971C 105050
    0 105050 1004 105050
    0 105050 1006 105050
    0 105050 1008 105050
Any idea what is wrong here and how can I fix this. Please let me know if you need more information.
    Regards
    Hitesh

    BIPuser,
Thanks for your help. My problem has been solved. Below is the code which worked for me(all the credit goes to BIPuser).
Define variable "check_total" at check template level
Defined another variable "display_total" at check stub template level
    check_total - <?xdoxslt:set_variable($_XDOCTX, 'check_total', PaymentAmount/Value) ?>
    display_total - <?xdoxslt:set_variable($_XDOCTX, 'display_total', xdoxslt:ifelse(PaymentAmount/Value='0', xdoxslt:get_variable($_XDOCTX, 'check_total'),PaymentAmount/Value))?>
Now the column where I needed to display the total, I used
    USD$<?format-number:xdoxslt:get_variable($_XDOCTX, 'display_total');’999G999D99’?>
    This solved my problem.

  • Verizon Fios Sales Representative Fraudulently Ran A Credit Check Without My Authorization

Yesterday I called the Verizon Fios sales department to sign up for new service. The sales representative (whose name I did not get) kept pushing me for personal information before he could give me pricing on service options. Once I finally received a quote for a plan I was interested in, I decided to go ahead and sign up. When he asked for my social security number, I told him that I wasn’t interested in a “hard pull” of my credit report. A hard pull of a credit report is a formal credit check which stays on your credit report for 2 years and lowers your credit score if you have more than 2 inquiries within 2 years. I told him that I wouldn’t mind paying a deposit as long as a credit check wasn’t made. He assured me that there will be no “hard pull” on my credit report and that it wouldn’t even show up. I still refused to give my social security number and insisted that I would pay the deposit. He finally gave in and informed me that he will not perform a credit check or even ask for my social security number. He said that he still has to verify my identity in order to set up service. He asked for my name and date of birth, and proceeded to ask me a few questions related to previous addresses that I resided at. When he was finished asking me questions he stated that my identity has been verified and he proceeded to complete the order. While he was finishing up the order, I checked my credit report online ( I have credit monitoring subscriptions with Equifax, Transunion and Experian) and found a hard credit inquiry on Equifax from:
    VERIZON EAST
    99 SHAWAN RD
    FLOOR 2 RM
    COCKEYSVILLE, MD 21030
I immediately informed the sales representative that he had just pulled my credit report and my credit score dropped 3 points. He was flustered at first and tried to assure me that it was just an identity verification. Perhaps he didn’t think I would realize my credit was pulled until days later when it wasn’t his problem anymore and he already made the sale. I suggested that either he wasn’t properly trained on what “identity verification” really was, or he outright committed fraud in order to make a sale. He tried to reason with me that his calls are recorded and that he has a child to take care of, so he wouldn’t do such a thing. I was upset but I figured since the damage was done and I have excellent credit anyway, maybe he can make it up to me by waiving my activation fee or something. He said he couldn’t do anything on his end but after he was done setting up the service he will transfer me to a manager that can help me. After he was finished he transferred me…to the general Verizon 800 number! I navigated the help menu and was finally connected with another sales representative named Ryan {edited for privacy}I explained to him what had just happened and he tried to pull up my order number to see what he could do for me. He said my order was on a “shadow hold” and wasn’t fully completed yet so he couldn’t access it or try to help me out. Instead he took down my phone number and promised to call me tonight at 8pm(which never happened). I haven’t even started receiving services yet and I am already having issues with Verizon Fios.  I have been a CFE for many years and investigated enough fraud cases to know when something doesn’t seem right. The sales representative knew I didn’t want a credit check performed and did so anyway without consent. This represents either malfeasance or at least misfeasance of 15 U.S.C. § 1681 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I discussed the situation with a colleague of mine at the Federal Trade Commission’s Office of Inspector General (FTC OIG) and came up with an investigative methodology to determine if this issue is isolated to a few bad sales reps or a systemic problem across Verizon. Assuming Verizon doesn’t answer a subpoena to give up data on credit inquiries done without social security numbers, the FTC can easily go to a neutral third party (i.e. Equifax) for the information. A data analysis can be done singling out credit checks done from Verizon East without the use of social security numbers. Then the FTC can contact a random sample of Verizon applicants to see if they felt they received proper disclosure from the sales rep that they were about to perform a credit check; or were they simply told it was an “identity verification”. I would guess that many customers weren’t properly warned of the impending credit check and many simply decided not to complain since it wouldn’t result in the inquiry being taken off. If the issue is widespread, it could indicate an aggressive sales training program where Verizon teaches salespeople how to word a credit check in a way that seems more agreeable to the customer (e.g. “identity verification”).
I was pretty upset when this happened yesterday, but Ryan {edited for privacy} said he would call me tonight to discuss it and make it right. Since it seems that even nice representatives are trained to say anything to get customers off the phone; I feel an obligation to pursue this further. Luckily, as a fraud investigator for a government agency, I have the professional network and resources to pursue this case with the minimum amount of time and effort. It would be appreciated if someone from Verizon legal contacted me soon.
