Credit Check Total

Well, I did the 7 day trial with Credit Check Total, and called today to cancel. I told them price was the reason and they offered a 50% discount good for 24 months. EQ/TU reports pulled and FICO 8 scores updated three times a month, with Experian pulls and score updates daily. Not a bad deal at all for $14.95 a month. I took the deal and cancelled the 3 bureau monitoring from here. They wanted to know why I cancelled and I told them I got a better deal from Experian for three bureaus at $14.95. At first she said "well, you know those are not FICO scores..." and I said "no, they are FICO 8 score and match the scores here exactly, its a new program they just started" She seemed surprised by that. Maybe it will start pushing the prices for monitoring services down to more reasonable levels. I'll just purchase a report whenever I need to see where my mortgage score are sitting. Ex FICO is up a point to 593 today, BTW. (tiny little happy dance)

I've had experian credit tracker since about feburary this year and like it alot. I signed up for CCT about 15 hours ago, so i could find my EQ fico, noticed how similar it was to experian, and thought nothing of it. Today after reading this, i called up experian, threatened to cancel because of CCT, they claimed the only reason someone else received the long offer was because they were part of CCT for an extended period of time. I say okay, well cancel experian anyway, i'll pay for cct. I call up CCT(THE SAME EXACT NUMBER AS EXPERIAN)  to cancel and see if i get the offer, i go the automated system way, automatically offers me 50% offer for 5 years. not sure if its the automated system, or a person difference, or if it's because i had experian for the past 6 months, but either way, i now am rolling with CCT, with seems like it's basically just experian with more. Question on CCT though, i know my experian score can/will update daily, but will the EQ and TU only updated...whatever it was...3 times a month? or is that just about receiving the report? I really don't care what my report says since i can get that from CK, i'd just like to see daily changes with my EQ when things report, rather than having to time everything out. Edit: the rep also had no idea of any 5 year offer. She claimed the only offers there were for cct were for 1 or at most 2 years. Fwiw I had already talked experian down to 10 a month back in February and for $5 more to get the extra 2 scores is a no brainer.

  • Credit Check Total reporting question

I have a question about Credit Check Total reporting a late.  I have been working very hard to rebuild my credit.  So I am paying very close attention to how I pay my bills.  My question is this According to Credit Check Total I had a late payment 18 months ago on EXP and EQ.  I know I haven't been late on anything in almost 4 years.  I do have several cc chargeoffs from 2010 and early 2011 that still show balances and have been gradually one by one settling or                       paying these off. So I guess it's possible one of these has reported the account and makes it look like a new late,  But then again I           wasn't able to start doing this till bout 6 months ago.  So IDK.  My problem is I can't figure out where the late is coming from.                     Anyone got any ideas on how to spot this.  I will take any and all suggestions on how to find it.

I'm perplexed. It;s just one of those weird things that is on my brain because I can't figure it out.  LOLOK, looking at my CCT page I think I know what you're seeing. It's on the overview page where it lists whats affecting your credit, correct? In mine for instance it says "Time since late" and then "4 months". I know that there are no late payments from 4 months ago, however there ARE collection accountsthat updated that recently. I think that is what you are seeing is not a late payment, but rather collection or other derog that last updated 18 months ago.Yep,  that's exacly what I see,  Just wish I knew what it was.  Don't like not knowing.  Oh well, I'm gonna just keep doing what I'm doing.  Keeping Util low,.  Paying on time and continuing to pay for old debts.   Thankyou for taking the time to help

  • Static Credit Checks - Open orders - Confirmed quantity vs total quantity

We are using static credit checks. Credit currently only sees open orders with a confirmed quanitity.
Customer orders 10 items we have 5 in stock. Credit check runs, credit is evaluated basd on the confirmed open quanitity of 5. The order gets a credit block. Credit rep releases the order.
A few days later the balance of the order arrives in the warehouse. The remaining 5 are confirmed on the order. Since the confirmed quantity has been increased and subsequently the confirmed open value, the order goes back to credit.
We frequently encounter this situatuion and are looking for ways to reduce the number of credit round trips.
If we wanted to base the credit check on the total quantity / order value, as opposed to the confirmed quantity / value what do we need to change.
    Insights are appreciated.

    Hi cann
As you are going with static credit checks, system will check the order and if it exceeds it will throw an message (error , warning )
Now again , if you create another sales order , that value will not be taken into consideration , system again will check for the credit limit amount
    For example :
    credit limit - 10000
    sales orders - 1010, 1011
    1010 sales order value - 11000
    1011 sales order value - 10500
Now when you create a sales order system will check the credit limit 10000. and once you save it and create another sales order (1011), again system will check for the same credit limit 10000.
The credit limit gets reset  once the order is saved ,in static check
Now any open quantities are there means and when it gets confirmed then system will check for those open quantity also
To minimize all these use dynamic credit check

  • Credit check for existing Verizon customer

Hello!  I am looking for some assistance.  I recently received an email from BB about a 2500 point Reward Zone bonus for buying a new phone w/ a two year plan.  I am currently on my mother-in-law's family plan but due for an upgrade.  After going through all the checkout steps, I was met with a request for a credit check for my mother-in-law.  This makes little sense to me, as we have been Verizon customers for years and have a total of four accounts with them under this plan.  If we are longstanding customers with Verizon, why does Best Buy claim Verizon needs to do a credit check?  I know one wouldn't be necessary if we were to go to an authorized Verizon dealer for this purchase.  So how can BB claim the check isn't for themselves when Verizon already has no issue with the account's credit?
I would love the bonus points but I'm not about to dent my mom-in-law's credit with a credit check.  It sours me on ever going through Best Buy for any mobile service in the future.  If Verizon is fine with the account and the current credit status, why does BB force one on us while claiming it's for a company that alreayd has no issue with the account holder's credit score?

All credit checks are done through the carrier. Verizon does periodically request updated an credit report, even when performing an upgrade. This same process would take place no matter where you get your phone -- Best Buy, Verizon corporate stores, or other third-party dealers.

  • Orders going on credit check hold in oracle

New sales order is getting hold even there are open credits (Unapplied Receipts & AR Account Credits with open balance)
    Example
However there are open credits (Unapplied Receipts & AR Credits with open balance) to the tune of $200
If we don’t consider the AR Credits, the Outstanding Invoice Balance is “$900” .
To this if I add the Outstanding orders in OM for this customer as per the “Orders on Credit Check Hold Report”- $250—That will put the total balance as $1150
This balance exceeds the credit limit of $1000
To prove this theory I have applied some Invoices to the $200 receipt there by bringing down the open Invoice Balance and then entered an order and that new order did not go on Hold.
Is this the solution to get rid of hold or its something else?
    Thanks

This could be one of the solutions.
Alternatively, you could review your Credit Hold setup to check that what all transactions are being considered when calculating the credit amount.
Also there is a concurrent program which needs to be executed so that the calculation is refreshed periodically.

  • Pre-Approved Credit Check Problem

Okay. This is really a god awful nightmare. I am from Washington D.C. and I bought my phone in Boise, ID. At the store the gentleman asked me if i wanted to do the credit check there to save me a trip if I didn't get approved.
I agreed and was approved with no deposit. They gave me a pre-approved credit check number.
Upon filling out my billing information in iTunes I enter in the Pre-Approved code and the SAME address I gave the man at the store. I then get an error saying that they will NOT accept this code because the addresses do NOT match up. Therefore I have been unable to even begin the activation process.
I called the number they gave me. They told me I had to go to the store to fix it. I went. The people at the store looked at me like I had broccoli coming out of my ears. I was there for three hours (having been there for three hours for the phone) when they eventually told me to come back tomorrow.
I called the support line again. We hit a brick wall. All in all I have been transferred atleast five times for a total of five hours on the phone. I want to return this blasted device but they are demanding a 10% restocking fee for SOMEONE ELSES mess up.
So let's do the math. I waited three hours. Had a credit inquiry posted to my report. Paid $600. Talked to support for over five hours. And made a 20 mile drive three times.
I DO NOT WANT THIS PHONE ANYMORE. However. I would rather eat the $600 then pay the %10 percent return fee. A big EFF YOU to apple and at&t.
Now if I finally do get it activated I look forward to waiting another four days for it to work.

Well all the information I am putting in is valid, not made up. And still nothing!
    Anyone successful with this?
Also, if I just skip putting in the code I get further in the activation, up to the point where it tells me my three options with AT&T. At this point there is a LINK that says "I have a pre-approved credit code", but that link just returns you to the very beginning page (same as starting over)... wonder if it's broken or supposed to work that way?...

  • Dynamic Credit check

    Dear all,
Iam facing one issue , while saving the sales order, getting error as"Dynamic credit chek has been exceeded xxxx inr"
new customer created with out assign credit control area
credit customer master data has not maintained with limits.
at sales doc type as assigned the credit group.
my question is : how system has showing error based on which criteria, upto yet no transacitonal data for this cusomer.
plz sugest to raise the SO.
    regards,
    NAr

    Hi,
Since you said, you don't have FD32 record for this customer, I would assume this is not due to your "Automatic credit control" settings which we do under OVA8.
Therefore you should be using "Simple credit check" facility in SAP.
Please check what is maintained under the transaction OVAK for your sales document type. If you have "A" or "B" or "C" under the column "Check Credit", then you're using simple credit check.
If you look at the SAP documentation given under that IMG node, you can clearly seebelow.
The SAP System checks the credit limit which was granted to the customer in this credit control area. The credit control areas and the credit limit of a customer are defined in financial accounting and entered in the customer master record. During the check, the SAP System totals the receivables, the open items from special G/L transactions and the net value of the sales order for every item of a sales document. The open items take into account obligations bound by contract which are not recorded for accounting purposes but which involve expenses through diverse business transactions. The total is compared with the credit limit. If the limit is exceeded, the system responds in the way defined by you in the configuration menu.
And also please check whether you have maintained a risk category and the credit limit in the Credit control area setting under the IMG path.
Enterprise Structure -> Definition -> Financial Accounting -> Define Credit control area

  • Credit check on the basis of quantity

    Hi Gurus
The requirement is such that the credit check is to be configured on the basis of quantity. A customer is fixed with a total order quantity of 1 lakh and if the quantity goes beyond 1 lakh the system error should come.
    Thanx and Regards

May be you can check whether if you can do this via a user exit for credit limit. You can follow the below steps
    1) Create a Separate risk category for this customer.
    2) and assign a User Exit check for this category customer in OVA8
    3) Modify the User exit  to your requirement.
The User exit which can be used for this purposes are...
    LVKMPFZ1: USER_CREDIT_CHECK1
    LVKMPFZ2: USER_CREDIT_CHECK2
    LVKMPFZ3: USER_CREDIT_CHECK3
There are three buttons of User exit in the OVA8 Screen. each button is numbered as 1,2,3 internally, if you mark User exit 1, then modify the first program  .... like tht..
also you can explore the option of having a Quantity contract.. Create a QC for 1lakh Qty and try to refer this QC when ever u are creating the order.  Of course this will not stop you from creating an order with more qty, unless you explicitly throw an error..

  • Ignore some specific Open item in AR during credit check

    Hi,
User had a customer whose AR open items are subjected to "settlement issues" and are still opened after 90 days.
The customer had been assigned a risk category that will blocked the sales order when open item is more than 90 days.
How can I configured such that the credit check will bypass the selective open item (AR) document line items for a certain customer without changing the same checking for other customer within the same credit control area.
Currently, whenever a sales order is raised, it would be blocked by the above and the documentation to releasing it can takes over a few days. Not only that, a hugh paperwork are required as stipulated by audit requirement.
    Any options to bypass selectively?
    Thanks

If Im reading this right you want the open AR item that is in dispute excluded from credit check thus not placing new orders on hold due to the oldest item check
Create a special G/L indicator that is excluded from credit check. During the AR process this indicator can be applied to either the total invoice or the remaining amount. The system will then exclude the disputed item from credit checks allowing all other sales to proceed as normal without affecting the way the credit check works for all customers. Once the dispute is resolved and if the amount becomes an actual outstanding recievable the indicator can be removed and will once again be included in the scope of credit check for the specific customer.

  • Credit check at PGI

    Dear Friends,
    1. The requirement is to do the credit check at Goods issue level. The sales order qty might be different from the GI qty. Say the sales order is created for 100 kg with the total value Rs 5000-00, but the GI is done for 50 kg which amount to Rs2500-00. Now the credit check should consider the value against the GI qty only. Do we need to have the pricing configured at Delivery level to get this done?
    2. The second requirement is to do the credit check at Goods issue level, also against the Advance payment/Letter of Credit (LC) / Bank Guarantee (BG) from the customer.
Does the standard Credit management settings allow check against Advance payment/LC / BG?
Do we need to use a User exit for the above 1 and 2?
    3. Whats the user exit for PGI?
    Thanks
    Isaac

    HI
There is no need of any pricing to be done at delivery level.
For credit check at PGI level you can use the credit group 03 credit group for goods issue.
and assign it to delivery types here you can enter it in GI credit group

  • Ignore Open orders in Credit Check

    Dear All,
As you are aware of that in the Static Credit Limit Check
The credit exposure is the total combined value of the following documents:
    - Open orders
    - Open deliveries
    - Open billing documents
    - Receivables
The requirement is  to exclude Open orders for specific risk category and consider only New Orders + the other open documents to calculate and check for credit limit. How can i achieve this. Please advice.
Note :-Open Orders Check in OVA8 does not help to fix this.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Vikas

    Hi ChandraSekhar,
If the customer have Credit limit of 50000 USD & old Open Orders value is 40000, Now if CSR enters new Order of 20000 USD , Then System should not throw message that Customers Static credit check: credit limit exceeded by 10000 USD ;Instead it shoud Ignore Old Open Sales order Value (40000 USD) & system should Consider & calculate only New Order Value (20000USD).
    Hope I am Clear?
    How can we Achieve this?

  • Is Credit Check Per Line Item in Sales Order  Possible?

    Dear All,
Hope you all are doing well !!!
Infact i am currently implementing OPM and SCM modules for a CSD (carbonated soft drinks) industry. They have a specific requirement on Credit Management. Please look at the Requirement Below.
Credit Management Per Line on SO
Client Charges Distributors for both Liquids (Finished Product) + [Return Glass Bottles and Shells) for the First Time.
Subsequently while returning RGB(Return Glass Bottles)'s and Shell's are being given Credit memos.
CBL gives credit only on Bottles & shells but not on Liquids.
For Liquids CBL takes the Prepayment & Its Compulsory.
So the Credit limit needs to be check on the bottles and shells only.
Oracle E-Business Suite Credit Management does not work per line item for a
Particular Sales Order. It works on total Sales Order. as this is not a standard Process in Oracle how we can achieve this without customization.
Please suggest me through any workaround we can achieve this and its a show stopper for us and business critical for my client. Please help me on this regard.
    Thanks & Regards,

I'd suggest writing your own might be easier. Oracle buckets the exposure as per the list below whereas you are probably only interested in seeing a total order exposure (by line item for bottles/shells) and total AR exposure summary.
Also the standard report will look at the unit sell * the ordered quantity in calculating transaction amounts on open orders which is your problem. If I've understood your requirement correctly, you only want to consider the shells and bottles in the credit check because you enforce prepayment for liquids so presumably your AR o/s balances are only for money owing on shells and bottles.
In that case, your only real issue is at the order entry stage (again because Oracle will be considering the total transaction value if you're using the standard automated credit check) which is why I suggested the manual workaround there.

  • Credit value used in credit check

    Hi,
Could any one help me understand how credit value is calculated in credit check for sales orders.
I was assuming that credit value is undelivered value returned by fm -SD_CREDIT_VALUE_ORDER.
When i debug this fm gives me different value each time.Acoording to the config Total amount of order(incl tax) should be used for credit check.
    Thanks in advance.
    Priya.

Hope you have released the credit block and then when you are changing any parameter(other than qty and value) the order is going on credit check again? If yes, in OVA8 - under " Released orders are still unchecked" maintain number of days or percentage of change of value. Then the reeleased orders will not be checked again .
If you havent released the credit blocked order and when ever you do any changes to order and save it, you will get the credit blocked message all the times. If the amount is not consistent then may be you can execute few programs to reset the open credit value of the customers. Please refer to the below notes for incorrect credit values.
