Credit Check while creation of Sales Order for Item Category Purchase Req

Hi Experts,
We are creating Sales Order using an Order Type ABCD for a material 1000. While creating Sales Order, we use Item categories (ZOVD, ZOVB,ZOST,ZOVP and ZOBO).
Credit Check settings are there at Order Type ABCD as well as all the Item Categories (ZOVD, ZOVB,ZOST,ZOVP and ZOBO). We are trying to test a scenario where a customer does not have enough credit limit while creating a sales order.
When we create a sales order for Item Categories (ZOVD, ZOVB,ZOST,ZOVP), credit check fails because our customer does not have enough credit limit, so that Sales Order gets created and Delivery does not get created (This is what we want), then we go into VKM1 manually and relase the sales order and then if we go to VA02 and check the status of the Sales Order, it says sales order status is complete. My Sales Team is saying here also Purchase Requisition is getting created.
When we create a sales order for Item category ZOBO, it is going into Purchase Requisition screen. Once we give another plant in the create purchase requisition screen and save it we are getting a message that cannot create Purchase Requisiton because of Credit Block.
The settings were same for all the Item categories.
1) What made difference to complete Purchase Requisition for Item Categories (ZOVD, ZOVB,ZOST,ZOVP) and not for Item Category ZOBO when my customer is not having enough credit Limit.
2) Why Purchase Requisition screen is not coming for us when we create an Sales Order for Item Categories (ZOVD, ZOVB,ZOST,ZOVP). We only get Create Purchase Requisiton Screen for Item Category ZOBO.
Thanks
Rajanikanth

Hi,
None of the Item Categories has Create PO Automatically.
Thanks

  • Creation of Sale Order for configurable material with availability check.

    Hi,
We have a scenario in which the material is configurable. The configurable material (X) has few variants (Ex: X1, X2, X3, X4, X5). While booking the sale order, we use the material number (X).
Further, the material planning is done for the variants X1, X2, X3, X4, X5. The standard variants are planned for production in advance.
    1.     While booking the sale order, we want the availability check of the stock (type matching to happen). What needs to be done in configuration?
    2.     While booking the sale order, there is a possibility that the configuration selected will not match with any of the standard variants due to some additional requirements of the optional features, in such cases how to link the standard variants to the sale order & create requirement for additional requirements.
    Regards,
    Umesh

    Hi Umesh,
1.Create material master for configurable material and variants in mm01.
2.Maintain BOM for the configurable material in CS01
               3. Configur the variant configuration steps
                  a. Create charecteristics T.code CT04
                  b. Create values and assign classes
                  c. assign the values to charecteristics
                  d . Maitain dependence  T.code CU01
                  e.create configuration profile t.code CU41
                  f.stimulate the configuration profile.
    4. Do the availability check configuration through this path
IMG --> Sales and distribution > Basic functions ,> Availabilty check and Transfer of requirements.
    5. Maintain the Availbility check field and MRP views in the material masters other wise you sit with PP people and do that
I hope it will help you

  • No commitment Item Update while creation of Sales order

    hi,
    I have  maintained Derivation Rule
    Co Code / GL/ BA/ Plant / S Loc/ = Fund / Comitement / Fund Center.
Stil in that case at the time of creation of Sales order, systeme is giving error (++No commitment Item Update M V2225++)
And also i have maintained the Comitement Item in GL master.
Could you give me some solution.
    Thanks
    Nilesh R

    Hi Nilesh R,
Please check the following information of Consulting Note 1268001 (the same for funds center is valid to commitment item):
    1.  You receive the error message in a Sales Order (SD) process.
       a) SD customizing settings for FM objects.
You can set "commitment item" as an optional entry in SD customizing settings for field status. This can be checked in the IMG path: SPRO -> Public Sector Management -> Funds Management Government-> Actual and Commitment Update/Integration -> Integration ->
Maintain Field Status for Assigning FM Account Assignments
You should have a record with Object type = '04' (sales order).
It is not necessary to have the field as required (unless you want to insert it in the origin process) due to the fact that
this can avoid the account assignment derivation between CO objects and FM objects. The field can not be hidden otherwise it will be not derived.
For more information, check note 572729.
The system response depends on how you defined the fields of the FM dialog box using Customizing activity 'Maintain Field Status for Assigning FM Account Assignments':
         -  The fields of the FM dialog box are defined as ready for input ('Opt. entry' or 'Req. entry') in Customizing:
If you change the reference object in the sales order, the system does not re-derive FM data automatically. For that, you
must navigate to the FM dialog box and, by choosing icon 'Redetermine account (F5)', trigger the derivation manually.
         -   The fields of the FM dialog box are defined as not changeable ('Display') in Customizing:
If the reference object is changed in the order, FM data is redetermined automatically.
         -  The fields of the FM dialog box are defined as not displayable ('Hide') in Customizing:
             FM data is not determined.
Therefore, set the field status to optional permit the user to enter the FM objects manually and still benefit from the possibility to
automatically derive the FM objects from a CO object.
For more information on integrating Plant Maintenance, Sales and Distribution and Project System, see the SAP Library Accounting -> Public Sector Management -> Funds Management -> Actual and Commitment Update -> Integration with Plant Maintenance, Integration with Sales and Distribution and Integration with Project System (Network).
You can also check the documentation available in the IMG menu of the status (written above).
       b) If you do not want to integrate sales order process within PSM-FM, you should consider to deactivate this integration in
customizing transaction OFUP. In release EA-PS 1.10 and 2.00 modification note 591573 is available.
Please also check consulting note 1267998 and let me know if you have used FMDERIVE trace tool.
If you want to have SD integrated to FM, please check if in OFUP the flag of this integration is accordingly set.
If you work with free-of-charge sales order line items mixed with line items having value, please consider to apply note 1441847 (if it is valid to your current release/package).
I hope this answer your inquiry.
    Best Regards,
    Vanessa Barth.

    Hi Experts,
I have created customer and i am creating sales order for the same. I am creating it through transaction VA01 and taking order type as OR.

I insert appropriate data in frist screen which is for sold-to-part, i put order number and it's quantity there. When i double click on the material and goto second screen in conditions tab, i put there condition type Z701 and rate. After that i hit enter so that 1st debug screen appeared and after that 2nd debug screem appeared, but when i wanted to go ahead from 2nd debug screen as below
    Debug :
Please maintain the following settlement rule for the order:

  • Sales Order Line item category not getting Re detemining Correctly

    Dear all,
I need  help regarding the Sales order item category redetermination.
we are having two item categories YNAE and YNAG and it contains schedule  line categories CP and CB ( i.e for item         category  YNAE schedule line category is CP and for item category YNAG schedule line category is CB),
for YNAG Purchase Requisition is automatically created becz of functional setting on save and it is working fine.
For every line item in sales order line item level item category YNAE will be determined by default as per functional settings.
Now my requirement is that, if sales order line item doesn't contain 100% confirmed quantity, than i needs to change the default line item category YNAE to YNAG which i am trying to do it in USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP becz in this exit i am getting the values in XVBAP and XVBEP and  it is working fine .
But schedule line category is not getting redetermined automatically what i mean is, if i change the item category to YNAG from YNAE in user exit corresponding schedule line category CB of YNAG is getting determined automatically at the schedule line level and if ichange the schedule line categories in XVBEP in exit USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP, changes are reflecting at the schedule line level but Purchase requisation is not getting created for schedule line on SAVE and its delivary dates are also not getting determined properly. If i press the option ATP check at the schedule line level than very things will getting corrected.
I feel that i am not doing this in proper way, do u have any idea about how to redetermine item category. please let me know if u have any idea .
    Regards,
    Vaddepally Manoj

USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP is the wrong location - that exit is for pricing communication preparation only.  Your primary location for item category determination is USEREXIT_SOURCE_DETERMINATION (MV45AFZB).  In your simple scenario, you could consider making an availability check at this point with some assumptions and then assign the item category accordingly.  Otherwise, you can re-assign item category and schedule line category in USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBEP.  The exit is called once before ATP (for ATP-relevant schedule line categories) and once afterwards.  The call is recursive if you re-assign another ATP-relevant category.

  • Sales Order - Using Item Category "TAB Individual PO" / convert PReq to PO

    All,
I am configuring for the first time utilizing Sales Document Item category "TAB" - Individual Purchase Order. I have a few questions:
Is there a best practice/baseline package configuration guide specific for this process? I have found the 'third party' baseline package J54, but nothing so far on "individual purchase order from sales order'.
During Purchase Order Create from the Purchase Req. is there a way to default Purchase Order Type "UB" stock transfer from the Purchase Requisition type NB?  Currently in my system, the PO type defaulting is NB and it needs to be UB.  I thought this could be done based on the schedule line "CB" configuration (spro/SD/Sales/Sales Docs/Schedule Lines/Define Schedule Lines), changing the 'item category' to 7 stock transfer.  Then, for the configuration setting spro/MM/Purchasig/Purchase Req/ Define Document Types, this would carry into the mapping for purchase requisition type NB/item category stock transfer to purchase order type UB/item category stock transfer. However, when I set '7' on the schedule line CB, I then receive a hard error when creating my purchase req to set the supplying plant. I have more than one supplying plant, so I'm not sure if setting the '7' for schedule line CB is the right setting for this process. From what I've been able to find for documentation, the item category of the schedule line should be set to '0' standard.  My plan is to convert the PReq's into PO's in background, but I need to default the correct PO Type.  Any help would be useful.

  • Returnable Packing - Sales order maintainance / Item Category determination

    Gurus,
I have question about returnable packing regarding sales order entry and item category determination
    1) Sales order : Should we do entry of returnable packing in Sales Order as a regular item
    Example : The material M1 - 100unites needs returnable packing materials PK1 5 unites.
Therefore in sales order it should be entered as below
    M1 - 100unites
    PK1 - 5unites
    Please commnet.
    2) Item category determination should be done at sales document level
Sales document type + Item category group (LEIH) + Usage (PACK) + Higher lever item Cat (???) = TAL
    Please commnet.
    Regards,
    Ashish

    Hi
Yes Ashish you need to enter the returnable as a separate item in the sales order
For qn no 2 the item categories of higher levelitems can be TAN and TAX
Sales document type + Item category group (LEIH) + Usage (PACK) + Higher lever item Cat (blank) =TAL
Sales document type + Item category group (LEIH) + Usage (PACK) + Higher lever item Cat (TAN) =TAL
Sales document type + Item category group (LEIH) + Usage (PACK) + Higher lever item Cat (TAX)=TAL
Note returnable packing items are creates as a separate materials with material type as LEIH and item category group as LEIH
How to bring back the returnable packaging stocks to your plant
    Creating a Returnable Packaging Pick-Up
Create a sales order using order type LA /AT.
Enter the required data on the customer, the returnable packaging, and the plant to which the materials are to be returned.
Enter all other relevant data and save the order.
Create a returns delivery for the sales order when the materials reach your company.
The system proposes delivery type LR automatically. The transaction is completed by the goods receipt posting which initiates a transfer posting from the customer's special stock to your plant stock.

  • Availability check for configurable material while creation of sale order

    Hi Experts,
Does anyone know how stock can be viewed for configurable materials.
Does ATP work at the time of Sales order to check for material avaialablity based on the variant in the sales order ?
    Regards
    Chandru

    Dear Sir,
Sorry for the delayed reply. I was in long leave.
My scenario is same like Material variant.
This is my requirement. Whether this is possible or not.
To check stock of machine nearest to configured specs or lead time.It should indicate the percentage of material  in production stock & lead time for manufacturing the same. & also we should be able to link production order number in sale order manually.
Please guide me to sort out this issue.

  • Updation of condition type in conditions tab while creation of sales order

    Hi folks
I have added one field called  price key in Sales B screen of VA01 in item level.
When user will input price key here and then put enter. Then the Price should be updated in Conditions tab i.e the condition type will be updated in conditions tab.
I need to maintain this price key in VK11. So As per the Price key i need to update condition types in conditions tab.
here i am using a user exit  SAPMV45A. i can get condition type for the specified price key from A905 table. Then how to update this condition type in conditions tab through user exit.
    Plz suggest.
    Thanks
    pmr

    Dear friend,
if the sales order is saved and you want to change the pricing click on update which will be on the lower level of your condition tab in va02.
and if you are trying to create a new sales order  and if the value is greyed our - check whether in pricing procedure - control data - you would have maintained statistics against that condtion tab.
check this out and get back
