  • Setting approval level for credit management in SD

    Dear Gurus,
I have a case like this:
My client would like to use credit management in SD. They have few approval levels for for credit limit release.
Exp: With SD has amount under from 1000$, Mr. A has the right to approve and release it
With SD has amount bigger than 1000$, Mr. A  have to release it and then Mr. B check again afterwards Mr. B can reject and release it up to his decision.
As I see in SAP, maybe there is only one level for check and after release the SO doesn't need other approve anymore. But I am still concerning about how to find or config to satisfy this requirement.
    Thank for nice support!

In our case we have maintained a view named as "ZVW_OAR_WF_CTRL" which is created by our ABAPer.
The fields in this view are

  • This is reg credit management

    this is regarding credit management.
the requirement is there are 4 line items in the order.
now if i want to take into consideration the first 2 line items only for credit check. the remaining line items r not to be taken for credit check
how i can configure this can any one tell me

    Hi,
You van do this by taking into acount the line item number..
Or you could also have a flag for the line item for your reg credit management.
You could then build a mask specifying the condition based on the flag or the line item number.
The items in the mask are to be taken for reg credit management.

    Dear Friends,
In the credit management, is there any option that open item of 2006 will not be considered? That means open billing document which is not posted to accounts is exist, but the client wants it should not be considered.
    Regards,
    Trinath

    hello, friend.
in OVA8, you can choose the horizon to specify a time period beyond which sales orders are not included in check.  however, i currently don't have the info whether you can specify the same for billing documents.

  • Credit Management with Letter of Credit.

    Hi Gurus,
We need to consider the "Letter of  Credit"  amout in credit management.
ie. if there is LC created on customer worth Rs. 5lacs, system should not block the sales order unless 5 lacs is consumed.
    Pls suggest any workarounds.
    Reg.
    Amol

    Dear Amol Tamhane,
Have not worked on 'letter of credit'.
But if there is any accounting document which gets created due to letter of credit, then you can use the exit for credit management in SALES ORDER LEVEL and write the code to BLOCK THE SALES ORDER ONLY IF
(CREDIT LIMIT + LETTER OF CREDIT AMOUNT ) - (PREVIOUS EXPOSURE + SALES ORDER VALUE ) < 0
You can check BSEG, if accounting document gets created for 'letter of credit' or you can check any tables related to letter of credit based on customer code.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Credit management- credit status in sales order

    Hi Gurus,
What is teh difference between credit status 'Approved" and 'Released' in the credit status field of the sales order header status tab. When we release the order manually in VKM1 it would be 'Released'. But what is 'Approved'.
    Background:
We have an issue where one order was not blocked for credit though there is dynamic and the credit useage crossed 400%.
I simulated the cycle in the quality system for the same customer and same sales area. Here the order was blocked and i manually released the credit block in VKM1. Now in the simullated sales order the status in the credit status field of sales order header it showns as 'Released'.
So I would like to know what exactly is the difference between 'Approved' and 'Released' and why the credit check was not performed.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
This document is so useful to understand concepts in credit and risk managament:
    http://help.sap.com/printdocu/core/Print46c/en/data/pdf/SDBFCM/SDBFCM.pdf
The reason that credit check is not performed: check in IMG the tcode OVA8, in the field 'no credit check' you have a subroutine, check it (do a debugging session).
    I hope this helps you,

  • Credit Management: VKM4 (Release SD Documents)

    Hi,
I have implemented Dynamic Credit Management at Delivery Level (02: Credit Group for Delivery). System is behaving also fine and is not allowing to save the delivery as soon as the credit limit of the customer gets increased.
But when I am trying to Release the sales order using Tx Code VKM4 (as an approval process), system is releasing the sales order in VKM4, but still at the time of delivery creation after releasing the sales order, it is again not allowing to save the delivery, saying that Dynamic Credit Check has been exceeded.
    Can anyone help?

What is the value for the status of the documents (Sales order and delivery). You can check it in SE16N for table VBUK, check this fields before and after run VKM4. ¿Are you using a userexit for the credit check? (flags user1 ot user3 in cheks in OVA8)

  • Credit Management - Check for Item Payer

    Hi All,
Credit management is checked at header payer level. For cleint requiremnt , we want this check for Item payers.
Is there any possibility for the same.
    Thanks in advance
    Regs
    Madhu

    Hi,
The credit check will happen with the credit account which you maintain in FD32, it can be any partner function. But, in standard SAP it happens for a sold-to-party.. which means we normally maintain SP as a credit account in FD32.. and logically it's the right way..
Now, coming to your query.. if you maintain the credit account for the payer then system will perform the credit check for that payer only.. it doesn't matter if it is maintained at header level or item level.
Hope this will clear your doubt along with the problem.
    Do let me know.

  • Credit Management - In delivery process released document blocked

    Hello SD Experts,
This is regarding credit management.  we have configured Delivery level credit check.
As per the settings System block the delivery  and FI credit representative release the blocked delivery documents.
Logistics processing the delivery , Picking and Packing with out problem.
While processing the shipping activity with combined delivery VT01n - when checking Shipment started  tab its automatically going back to credit block.
I have configured in the Risk Category under Released documents are still unchecked as
    Deviation   -- Blank
    Number of Days as 15
My requirement is once released from delivery no need to do credit check again - with any deivation and Number of days limit also
Please help me to resolve this issue.
    Thanks in Advance
    Jaffar

    Hi Jaffar,
As per your explanation this is happening because of  Number of Days as 15
This specifies the number of days after which a changed document must be re-checked for credit.
This function is used for checking documents that have already been released by a credit representative, but that have
subsequently been changed. The system does NOT carry out another credit check if the following conditions are met:
The value of the changed order is not greater than the value already approved for credit (inclusive of the deviation factor),
    AND
The current date is not greater than the original release date plus the number of days specified here.
As per this there might be any changes in released document or changes in delivery dates, due to this reason system
blocking it again, try to reduce the number of days from 15 to 5 or as per your convenience and check.
    Regards
    Ram

Instead of copy pasting from standard, it would have been better had you advised the member to press F1 against that field (Number of days).  Please dont ever try to copy paste from other source which is strictly prohibited

  • Credit management - WortkFlow

    Hi,
Can you please tell me how do i Configure Credit management in WorkFlow.
It is for approval of certain orders from the supervisor.
Can u please share some some documents relating to credit management WorkFlow
Using Business object BUS1010      Customer credit limit do you i can do the same.
    Please guide and help.
    Regards,
    Satish

    Hi !
In the sales order, you can use the partner determination to find a credit representative (partner role CR) and/or a credit manager (partner role CM). If a document is blocked by the automatic credit control, a mail containing this information can be automatically sent to the credit representative or the credit manager. The document can be released directly out of the mail.
For this purpose, the following settings must be made:
    1.  User master record (SU01)
A user master record must be created for the person who should receive the e-mail.
    2.  HR master record (VPE1 or PAL3)
You must create an HR master record for credit representatives or credit managers. If you do not use Human Resources in the R/3 system, you can create a sales representative. In infotype 0105 'Communication', the user master record is linked to the HR master record. Store the user ID for communication type 0001 'System user name SAP system (SY-UNAME)'.
    3.  Partner determination Customizing (VOPA)
In the partner determination procedure, the origin is set for the CR and/or CM roles. As a source, you can use the customer master record of the payer (partner role PA). In the customer master record, maintain entries for roles KB or KM.
Or you can set origin A ('Credit management: Credit representative (table T024P)' as a source. Maintain relevant entries in the T024P table (transaction OB51). For this variant, user master record, HR master record and the link between both of these must also exist (Points 1 and 2).
    4.  Output determination
In the output determination procedure, you must define output type KRML 'Credit processing'. Create an output master record for the KRML output type, for medium 7 'SAP Office' and event 4 'Send immediately (when saving the application)'. Double-click to go to the detail of the output master record and define a dummy recipient for the output. Then go to 'Goto
         -> Execution parameters'.
Sales order: Define transaction VKM3 and parameter ID AUN with the value VBAK-VBELN. Save the output master record.
Delivery: Define transaction VKM5 and parameter ID VL with the value LIKP-VBELN. Save the output master record.
An output of type KRML is not found and generated until you save the document. This is implemented with the help of a requirement that is defined in the output determination procedure for the KRML output type. In the standard system, the 009 requirement (Order) and the 010 requirement (Outbound delivery) are used.
Check the following points if no mail is sent despite the settings being made as described above:
    1.  Check that, on header level, the system found partners for the KB or KM functions.
    2.  Check whether the message of the KRML type was created and is the same as the processing status of the message.
    3.  Check that the used requirement is fulfilled.
Requirement 009 and 010: The credit status should have changed to blocked (VBUK-CMGST = 'B') and the next item due for the shipping should appear within the next 2 days. When changes are made to a document from VKM* transactions, the requirement is not fulfilled and no message is created.
    4.  Check whether, in the general office settings (SAPoffice), you are allowed to send to organizational units (here personnel number) (Tab "Addressing", flag "Organizational entity" = '''X''').
    5.  Check in the SAP Business Workplace if the determined recipient of the output really has not received the e-mail.

    Andreas

  • Problem with credit managment

    Hello,
is there any possibility to modify the value "Total receivables" for the creditmanagment?
I customize the position-type as not active for "credit active" and the values for the sales part are set correctly for the credit managment.
But everytime I create an invoice and the FI-documents are created, the value for the "total receivable" in report
    RFDKLI40 is wrong.
If I create a new sales document then, the creditmanagment checks with the wrong value from "total receivable" and that´s wrong.
    Line " where vbeln = lt_vbrk-vbeln
    and cmpnt space."
    in report LVFDSF02 is set.
    Thanks for your help
    Nicole

    Gail,
The following Query looks at the Order Total of the Order you are entering, the total balance of all previous orders and the Account Balance and compares with the Credit limit.
    SELECT DISTINCT 'TRUE' FROM [DBO\].[ORDR\] T0 INNER JOIN [DBO\].[OCRD\] T1 ON T0.CARDCODE = T1.CARDCODE WHERE T0.CARDCODE = $\[$4.1] AND T1.CreditLine < (T1.BalanceT1.OrdersBal$\[ORDR.DocTotal])
You will need to save this query and creare an Approval Procedure
The process of creating Approval Procedure is explained in this thread

  • Credit Management functionality not working properly during Delivery Execut

    Dear All,
Complain from the Client: While creating Delivery documents the system permits the creation of Delivery in some cases when the Customer's Credit Limit is not sufficient to allow Delivery creation.
    Findings: After detailed analysis of System Configuration and transactional work flow following significant findings were noted;
    1.     Risk Category assignment & Credit Control Area assignment is no disabled at any stage of the business process in discussion.
    2.     The Delivery was created with transactional Credit Status "A" (Credit Approved) in cases when it should have been Credit Status "B" (Credit Not Approved) as the customer account did not have sufficient funds to accommodate the delivery.
    3.     Following Deliveries on PRD which were reported to have the above mentioned error, i-e, 80207442, 80224422, 80228126, 80230859, 80230863, 80230864, 80231004, after checking the deliveries it was established that system was not changing the Credit Status at Delivery Level to "B" in cases when it should be "B" rather than "A".
    4.     The above scenarios have been configured and checked in the QA server, where system reacted as per the standard and no discrepancy was identified.
    5.     If the user deleted the delivery which had the bug reported as above, after deletion of that delivery and recreation of the delivery referring to the same Sales Order the system performed correctly unlike in the first case.
    thanks
