Credit management at sales order level

Hello Gurus
i have  requirement for creditmangement : credit limit should be checked at order level, but for  my  customer in first  order itself  the  limit is exceeding  is it possible to block order here itself for not processing furthur .
note-only without posting  orders to FI   for intial order itself?

The scenario is this: I have customer  for him credit management is activated but i don't post any documents and nor  did any sales transaction for that customer previously.
Now the  question is:My client want if the customer credit  limit crossed in the first order itself ( transaction) then that sales order should not be processed  for that customer and it should be blocked there itself( sales order levvel) . Is it possible to do this? if yes please give some inputs.

    No Implications simple credit check will not happen order level it will happen delivery level .
    *system will not conceded at order level open order will not be calculated

  • Credit check at sales order level?

    Dear experts
    I want to set credit check at sale order level with following conditions
    consider open deliveries for credit exposure
    consider billing documents for creadit exposure
    do not consider any open orders
    Also if oldest items are open for more than 7days then block the sale order creation
    e.g suppose customer is having credit limit Rs.100000/- and open deliveries against this customer is having the value Rs.50000/- i.e. credit exposure is Rs.50000/-. In this case system should block the new sale order created of value more than Rs.50000/-

    For i am already having the same setting but still my scenario is not working. i will explain my scenario again
    suppose customer is having credit limit Rs.100000/- and open deliveries against this customer is having the value Rs.50000/- i.e. credit exposure is Rs.50000/-.
    In this case system should block the new sale order created of value more than Rs.50000/-
    But with the said settings purpose is not getting solved.
    my settings are;
    In OVA8 ;
    Update: 000015
    Static check: TICK
    Status: TICK
    open deliveries: TICK
    Plz suggest

    It is very much possible in SAP
    first you have to create credit control area
    then assign your company code to your credit control area
    then create your customer and assign credit control area in billing tab (for that u have to activate credit control area for your transaction by OB20)
    Then go to t-code VOA8
    assing credit check to your sales document type
    create credit control area automatic with your credit control area.

    There is one credit managment requirement, the User wants only a warning message at the sales order and not error message. i.e, he should be able to process the order and the delivery only to be stopped not the order. what is the setting in ova8 for this?

    Try this.
    1.Warning message at sales order
    Go to OVAK transaction maintain A-Run simple credit limit check and warning message for your sales document type under Check Credit colomun.
    2.Delivery need to be stopped
    Go to OVAD transaction maintain credit group for your delivery type by assigning Delivery credit group or GI credit group.

  • Credit management in sales order.

    Hi Experts:
        In my project, the credit check is set on sales order.  We use the automatic credit check.
        We face a problem like that, if the customer's credit is 0.01$ and the credit exposure is 0.00%. Then we create the sales order with amount 1000$. During we save the sales order, system will not block this order. It is not the result we want.
       Do you have any solutions if we want to block this new order by credit?

    hello, friend.
    if open order and delivery values are  ticked in OVA8, this should not occur.  you must also set system response to block and perhaps with a warning (can be saved) or error (cannot be saved) message on how much the order was over the limit.
    another control for customers with credit limit "0" is to set maximum document value to 0.01.

    Dear Experts,
    We have requirement,
    Example:
    If we received the Bank guarantee from customer(Berry) $10000,till $10000 it should able create the sales order, more than bank guarantee system should block the sales order creation.For same customer(Berry) some times will receive the cash instead of Bank guarantee.in this case system should not block the sales order creation and this sales order value should not update in FD33. Please guide, what configuration needs to be done to full fill this requirement. Thanks in Advance.

    Hello Experts,
    I have few questions regarding the credit check in FI-AR credit mgmt and SD.
    Currently we have a credit check in AR credit mgmt during the delivery order creation. But the management has decided to crap this and to put a credit check at sales order level.
    Can someone tell me if there is any business process change in doing this?
    Whats the concept of Horizon in dynamic check?
    Can someone clarify the concept of Business Partner in SAP FSCM credit mgmt?

    Dynamic Credit Limit Check with Credit Horizon
    The customer's credit exposure is split into a static part; open items, open billing, and delivery values (see above), and a dynamic part, the open order value. The open order value includes all undelivered or only partially delivered orders. The value is calculated on the shipping date and stored in an information structure according to a time period that you specify (days, weeks, or months). When you define the credit check, you can then specify a particular horizon date in the future (for example: 10 days or 2 months, depending on the periods you specify). For the purposes of evaluating credit, you want the system to ignore all open orders that are due for delivery after the horizon date. The sum of the static and dynamic parts of the check may not exceed the credit limit.

    Right now the credit check is on Delivery Order. It displays error message when doing PGI for Gross Value (Price + Tax). Now I want to do it for Sale Order Level.
    I did all changes according to the following; but on sale order the error message is only for (Price). It is not including tax value. Your assistance is required....

  • Availability check at sales Order level

    I am working in retail project and we have Cash sales, Rush order, Standard order scenario. All articles are created as Trading articles HAWA.
    When we create a sales order with cash sales document type, Rush order the availability check happens at sales order level itself but if I use the OR document type the availability check happens at delivery document level not at sales order level
    I want the availability check to be happening at sales order level so I have marked the availability in VOV6 for schedule category CP and CV.
    I donu2019t have the stock for the material X and we have not created any purchase order for X material but system is giving the confirmed delivery date with OR document type. So I have marked the check without RTL in OVZ9. After this system shows the confirm delivery qty is 0. 
    I think if the availability check happens without replenishment lead time then only I can get the output as per my requirement
    Can anyone guide me is it the right way to address this scenario

    Cash sales --> The detail configuration that has to be made for Cash sales are as follows:
    1.  Create a new order type ZBV by Copying the BV Standard Order and in the functionality of ZBV activate immediate delivery.
    2.  Create a new category ZBVN by copying item category BVN and check whether credit active unchecked or not in ZBVN.
    3.  Make all the neccessay setting for the item category determination for cash sale for which u configured.
    After the delivery document is created in the background, billing document is generated wrt Order.
    Rush order -
    >
    1.  Create a new order type ZRO by Copying the RO Standard Order and in the functionality of ZBV activate immediate delivery.
    2.  Create a new category ZTAN by copying item category TAN and check whether credit active unchecked or not in ZTAN.
    3.  Make all the neccessay setting for the item category determination for Rush order which u configured.
    Please remember here the goods has to be picked and then PGI has to be posted. Then only you can bill the Order.

    it is done through ova6 Transaction code.  more over i am sending you the screen shot of credit check managment stps. follow this u will not get any error while u r determining the order.
    pl. follow the steps of credit check.
    1. Define the credit control area under img=definition=financial accounting= define cr.control area.
    2.assign it your company code and ur sales area under assignment under img screen.and assign it your sales document types and delivery types and pgi.
    3. create the credit groups for your customers. it can be determined or happen in three stages either in Sales order , or else in delivery or in Post goods issue (PGI).
    the menu path for credit groups as IMG= SD=BASIC FUNCTIONS= CREDIT MANAGEMENT AND RISK SETTINGS= DEFINE CREDIT GROUPS.
    ex: Z1 - credit groups for sales order
    Z2 - credit groups for delivery
    Z3 - credit groups for PGI
    4. define the risk categories. it is required b'coz the customer is of high risk, or medium risk, or low risk customer.
    it is under IMG= FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING= FINANCIAL ACCOUTING AND GLOBAL SETTINGS= DEFINE RISK CATEGORIES.
    ex: Z1- LOW RISK CUSTOMER
    Z2 - MEDIUM RISK CUSTOMER
    Z3- HIGH RISK CUSTOMER.
    5.maintain automatic credit control check for ur credit control area and credit groups of the customer and risk categories. so that the credit check will determines automatically. menu path is IMG=SD=BASIC FUNCTIONS= CREDIT MANAGEMENT AND RISK CATEGORIES= DEFINE AUTOMATIC CREDIT CONTROL.
    6. while u r creating automatic credit control, pl. copy from the std. one and make changes. so that all the existing details will copy and fine tuning have to be done by the SD consultant. basically this is integration with FICO.
    So copy it from any one of the 1000 credit control area and make changes like
    dynamic credit as C and activate the open for order and deliveries and save
    i.e maintain credit control area + risk categories+ credit groups for the customer.
    7. finally maintain the credit limit thru FD32 for ur customer. activate everything on that screen.
    if you follow those rules, definetely cr. limit will determine for you.

  • SPL block when changing the Address manually at Sales order level

    Hello all,  I hope every one doing well
    I am facing one problem in SAP system, when I am chanigng the Partner address at sales order level , system giving the SPL block , without screening even though the customer is a good customer.
    I checked in Img: GTS -> SAP Compliance Management->"Sanctioned Party List Screening" Service->Control Settings for "Sanctioned Party List Screening" Service->Sanctioned Party List Screening Strategy for Customs Docs tested with  as " Status check of unchanged Addresses( Partner Address) and New check of changed Addresses.
    I didn't find any difference. Sales order getting block for the above cases when changing the Address at Sales/Create document level.
    Please let me know  how to resolve it.
    Is it related to configuration  if yes how  ? pr
    do we  have any OSS Notes to Rescreen the Sales orders with compliace even though changing the Address at sales order level ( ship to party address changes like Name, city, email id, of fax )?
    or
    do we need to do the Enhancement for Rescreening when changing the ship to party adress (changes like Name, city, email id, of fax )
    manually at sales order level ?

    1. Whether your Embargo service is activated for the Country of Plant from which your order is getting shipped. -- Yes I have activated the Country under Embargo list.
    2. Whether the partner function for which you changing the county detail has been added in into the Partner group which is assigned to Embargo services.( GTS)-- Assinged the Sold to Party ( AG) for PGEMB2- Partner group
    3. Whether the country which u putting as Embargo has been maintianed under Embargo country list,

    What I am doing exactly is , I am creating sales order with US customer master , but I am chaning the Country Key as Embargo country ( Ex: CU, SY, IR) at VA01 , or VA02 level Sales order header Partner tab level for Sold to party address ( changing only country key as embargo country) , not to ship to party  ( ship to party still US country key only), at that time system not blocking the sales order as embargo.
    please let me know if any once come across this sistuation..

    For removal of credit check at sales order, For the sales order type , in VOV8,in General control tab, keep the Check credit limit field as empty.
    For configuring credit check at PGI, you can search the forum for config docs.

    Can we maintain the credit limet in the sles order irrespective of customer and credite control area,means we dont want to maintain the credit limet in the customer wise, the credit limet should be in the sales order level.
    when we create the sales order for any customer for particular MC's and site combination if the credit limet exceded system should not  allow to create the sales order.

    Your requirement is rather unique and it seems to me some ABAP coding might be the only solution. I am only giving a conceptual solution and the exact ABAP details could be provided by an ABAP expert. Also, I havenu2019t tried this solution myself but it could be worth a try in your development environment.
    Solution:
    Below user exits are provided by SAP that can be used to design credit checks which are different than the credit checks provided in the standard system.
    1)      LVKMPTZZ
    2)      LVKMPFZ1: USER_CREDIT_CHECK1
    3)      LVKMPFZ2: USER_CREDIT_CHECK2
    4)      LVKMPFZ3: USER_CREDIT_CHECK3
    Following logic could be used in the user exits -
    The user exit triggers when the sales order is saved and puts a credit block for a particular sales order type.
    I am assuming that you want to put a credit limit for a particular sales order type.
    A custom Z table could store the predefined credit limit for a particular sales order type.
    When the user exit is triggered (at order save), it would compare the total value of the sales order against the predefined credit limit in the Z table for that sales order type. If the value exceeds the credit limit, it would put a credit block on the sales order just like the credit block that is put under normal circumstances when the customer credit limit is exceeded.
    The credit block could then be removed using VKM3.
