Credit Management: How to include back orders value in credit exposure?
Hello,
We have to have credit management implemented for some sales order types.
Credit exposure is working fine with normal sales orders.
But credit exposure is not taking into consideration the value of backorders which are present prior to credit management was implemented (with horizon period of 2 months).
Please let me know how we can include the value of back orders in credit exposure?
Thanks in advance for your answer.

How to Avoid Open Sales Order Value from Credit Check
Hello Everyone,
We have a problem with Credit Management, When my user run the execute credit master sheet, system is considering open sales order value under Credit limit used. My user do not want consider open sales order value, they want only Open delivery and Open Billing value need to appear in Credit limit used.
Is it possible to avoid open sales order values, if yes what setting i need to do....please help me.
Thanks
SudheerSudheer,
You need to check the update rule given in the definition of the Credit control Area which you are using for credit management. If you want only the open deliveries then you need to have update rule 15 in the credit control area.
In the credit controal settings, you need to have settings for the credit check at the delivery level.
Hope this will solve your issue.

Chetan

Open sales order value for credit check need to be changed (S066)
Hi all,
I need to change open sales order value which is already there in S066 table.
Previously we had used open order value for credit check. Open order values are already updated in the S066 table.
Now we dont want to consider open order value for credit check (which is already included in the credit exposure field in FD32).
When we create sales order system is taking old open order value for credit. Now i have changed not to update open order value for credit check. Now its not updating open order value. But my issue is how to change existing or (previous) open order value for credit?
Can i change S066 table data directly to '0'. Is it advisable to chage open order value directly from this table?
Please advise me.
Regards,
Babu
Edited by: babs on May 19, 2010 4:26 PMHi Babs,
If you doesn't want to reflect the open order value in the structure for this order value ,If the order is not processed kindly delete the line items and the order. Then save the document. Then try to see the structure S066.. This will be modified.
If you want to modify the value then follow the below process.
Otherwise delete the line item in the order and change the pricing date and the document date. Re enter the line item again so that it will take it up the new changes.
I hope it will help.

What is credit management how should we tell
hi
gurus my question is what is credit management.
2) If one customer exceeds his credit limit the sales order is blocked in the enduser system. WHO will release that order. Whether enduser called his higher authority by telephone or mailed or it is automatically knows by the superior means who is working in the managerial level working in n.s.o.
thanks in advancehi
The customers credit limit is assigned to the customer by going to the Logistics overview screen, Accounting, Financial accounting, Accounts receivable, Master records, Credit management, Change.
A credit control area is an organizational unit that is comprised of one or more company codes.
Create a credit control area and assign it to a company code in the Enterprise structure under financial accounting.
A customers risk category is a grouping category that controls the credit checks when automatic credit control takes place.
In SD credit check can occur in only three places: sales order, delivery and goods issue.
The system can use a simple credit check, static credit check or a dynamic credit check.
The simple credit check is set at the document type level e.g., sales order, delivery etc.
Simple Credit Check
Assign credit limit check to the sales doc type:
A warning message
B Error message
C Delivery block
D Automatic credit control
SAP enables static and dynamic credit checks so that a sales order for a good customer with a low risk credit rating is created and a sales order for a high risk customer with a high risk rating for the same doc type is blocked.
Automatic credit control divides the sales doc types, delivery doc types, and goods issue into specific credit groups.
An outcome procedure is defined using the credit group, the customers risk category along with the credit control area.
Risk categories are defined in the FI module.
Create the different credit groups e.g., for sales order, delivery, goods issue.
Assign the credit groups to the sales and delivery doc types.
Now define the settings for automatic credit control -> combination of credit control area, customers risk category, and credit group.
All that remains is the assignment of the risk category to the customer master record. This occurs in Finance by going to the Logistics overview screen -> Accounting, Financial Accounting, Accounts receivable, Master records, Credit management, Change or FD32.
The static credit check is a check comparing the credit limit assigned to the customer to the total value of open sales orders, plus the total value of open deliveries not yet invoiced, plus the total value of open billing documents not yet passed on to accounting, plus the total value of billing documents that have been passed on to accounting, but which have not been paid by the customer.
The dynamic credit check is a check comparing the credit limit assigned to the customer to the total value of open sales orders not yet delivered, plus the total value of open deliveries not yet invoiced, plus the total value of open billing documents not yet passed on to accounting, plus the total value of billing documents that have been passed on to accounting, but which have not been paid by the customer. The dynamic credit check has an attached time period that states that the system is not to include sales orders in the total of outstanding items created after the specified time period.
The credit relevant data is updated into an information structure, where it is accessed and updated. Thus each automatic credit control must be assigned an update group. The system allows for no update, and update group 000012, 000015 and 000018. However, update group 000012 is thorough and used in most businesses.
To view the customers credit master sheet, proceed from the logistics screen and go to accounting, financial accounting, accounts receivable, environment, credit management, check, credit master sheet [F.35].

Open order value and credit limit used are -ve
Hi,
We are running into the problem where there is a negative open order value and orders are bypassing credit hold.
The values are incorrect in the open order value and in the credit limit used. These both show as negative values, which is bad.
We have made settings in OVA8 correctly. Is there any other setting should be made in order to block the open order value and credit limit used ????
Thanks in advance. Appreciate if it is replied immediately.
SankarHello,
Please take the help of the SD consultant in this regard. Because open orders means there are many like invoiced and not yet delivered. And the credit limit is also part of the SD to check.
Please check in the T.code FD32 to find out the credit limit detials of the customer.
If helpful pls assign points.

FM for BACK Order Value ....check
Dear All,
Is there any FM which gives the Back Order Value...based on input Material...
Regards,Hello Diego,
just with SM37 test FM and you will be able to enter new or change existing values in organization structure.
For Input parameters you should use one of USER_ID_P or ORGUNIT_ID_P depending if you want to change attributes for user or org unit. REPLACE_P is if you want to replace existing value of the attribute. (We need to use this filed if we want to change cost centre, even if the value was empty before).
In Table IT_ATTR_P field ATTR_ID is for field name of attribute that you want to change (i.e. CNT), VALUE_LOGS is for system for where attribute value is, VALUE is for attribute value, DFT_FLAG is if you want that value is defaulted for attribute.
There are also some other less relevant fields, but they are the same like in attributes visible through ppoma_bbp.
Also it is possible to maintain extended attributes on the same way.

Open Sales Order Values in Credit Managment
Hi,
1. I want to include the open sales orders that were created before implementing the functionality of Credit Managment. How to check the credit limits for that sales orders.
Fro Example. If i want do the credit checks for 1000 open sales orders.
2. How to reset the customer credit limit in FD32. I tried using the t.code f.28, but it will not be reset to zero(0).
Thank you,
RaviHello Ravi,
You can try this: in table VBAK, you might have the date when this a particular order was created( ERDAT or sometihng like that..). You'll have to join table VBAK/VBAP/VBRK(billing table)/VBFA and the logic should be that the program should pick up all the orders created before 1 yr and should also check that the items are not rejected, and the delivery not yet created.
Check the following fields:
VBAK-ERDAT, VBAP-ERDAT, VBAP-ABGRU, VBAP-AEDAT.

To exclude Open Order Value in Credit exposure for Delivery credit Block
Dear All,
I have assigned the credit Limit block at the Delivery Level.
For the credit Exposure, i have removed the ticked for Open Sales Orders.
But when i created sales Order, that open order value get added to the exposure. I want to have only the Open Delivery values and other pending Invoices.
Is there any option for me to avoid the open sales Order value get updated in the Credit Exposure.
Thank U,
UwanthiHi,
Remove Sales document type from 'Assign Sales Documents and Delivery Documents' node and assign only delivery credit group.
Check configuration in OVA8 for both the credit groups.
In FD32 if sales value is already added as open items and exposure is updated, try using a new customer to test your requirement or reset the customer.

CREDIT MANAGEMENT-- Not Considering open S.O. value while checking Credit
Dear all,
I have an issue in credit manangenet i have configure credit manangement in SD at Sales order level it is like if Customer does not have credit balance it will not allow to save the order.
But issue is that if Customer have RS.10000 as his credit limit or advances in FD32. I am able to raise order for less that Rs.10000
and it will allow me to save and it is ok but the issue is that if I go agian to raise an order for less than credit limit it is allowing me to save means it is not cosidering the open sales order value which I want.

Exclude sales order value from Credit exposure
Hi Experts:
Can I only credit limit for a customer by Receivables(AR)??
ShwanDesh Shwan
Check the configuration Credition Control Area, you will find update group. Each Update group has different meaning and updates the document accordingly
No update from SD documents
000012 Open order value on time axis, delivery and bill.doct value
000015 Open delivery and billing document value
000018 Open delivery value for sales order, open billing doct value
blank means No Update from SD Documents and
and 000015 open sales orders are excluded, but as delivery are commitments and which should have been billed it takes into account delivery.
I think 000015 will suit your requirement

Blocked Order Value Increase Credit Exposure
There is a requirement form the company that Blocked Sales Order should also be added to credit exposure. Are you aware of any companies using such process? Is it possible from technical point of view? Is it require whole SD redesign? Thanks for your comments and answers.
Thanks for your reply, thats what I am aware but the case here is that we have:
Credit Lim: 10.000E,
Sales Value, Special Liab and Open Rec = 9000E
Then we issue Order 1 for 2000E it gets blocked
after that we issue Order 2 for 900E it is within Cr. Lim so it is released
What we want is that if we issue Order 1 for 2000E it gets blocked and the credit expsure will be 11.000 )Blocked order will increase Credit Exposure value so Order 2 will be Blocked and total Credit Exposure will be 11.900
Thank you -
Credit management - overdue bills in sales order
Hi SAP SD GURU's
I have a ticket, while creating a sales order how to get a alert of overdue bills of the customer, to whom we are creating a sales order.
Please help me, points will be rewarded for the solution.
thanks
adiHi Adi,
You can go to customization:
SPRO-S.D.-BASIC FUNCTIONS- CREDIT MGT.- SIMPLE CREDIT CHECK.
here you can define the credit check you want in your sales document and also assign a profile and how the system should react to over credit situations.
hope this helps you.

Siddharth.
