Credit Memo distribution issue..

Strange Credit Memo Distribution
In the distribution of credit memo, revenue posted 5 times for each line.
can any one please help & let us know the reason.

    Dear SAP Expert and Guru,
    Normally cancellation of goods receipt cannot be done when invoice has been issued. Cancellation of Goods receipt can only be done when there is the credit memo being issued in MIRO.
    The problem now is that is there any table that can tracked the linkage between Credit Memo and the Cancellation of Goods receipt?
    The goods receipt with the invoice linkage can be found in both table EKBE and BKPF. But not the credit memo and cancellation of Goods receipt.

    You are correct, but with the document number, how am I going to get the Cancellation of GR document?
    In table BKPF and EKBE. With the invoice number (34*******) then pass it to table BKPF to get the invoice number (52*******),
    Then get the invoice number (52*******) pass it to table EKBE to get the Goods Receipt document (61*******).
    However, this only can track the transaction goods receipt and Invoice but not the credit memo with cancellation of goods receipt.
    Kindly asvise on that.

  • Credit memo price issue.

    Dear Experts,
    Issue:
    When I am making Credit memo req with VA01 then price is coming but when I am enter creddit req to memo with the doc no in VF01 and execute then price is not coming, please let me know where i can do correction so that i can get the right output with price.

    Thanks to all as per you all anyls found as mentioned below.
    When I am check the condition in vf02 then the ZPR3(Manual in credit req memo) is coming in yellow sign. I dnt know why and whn I am double click on ZPR3 then at Control Option there is one option tab INACTIVE:(W)The document item is statistical.
    I think if It will be active then ZPR3 will be green, would you please tell me where should I make conf or change it to get it active.
    One more thing is there when I am check the condition at Header level then no C.type is there.
    Please tell me the steps what should I do. its urgent plz

In what what scenarios we should give option of creating credit memo with reference to invoice and in what scenario we should give option of creating credit memo with reference to credit memo request?
    2)  Whlie creating a credit memo request with reference to an invoice is there a way to restrict that the value or quantity of credit memo request should not exceed the value and quanity of referenced invoice

  • Debit memo and credit memo reference issue

    Dear all,
    Here there is case report from our clients:
    1) Create a credit memo request CR
    2) Post CR with billing type G2
    3) Create a debit memo request DR with reference to previous billing doc G2
    4) Post DR with BT L2, but it fails when it is released to accounting. The error message shows:
    ---> Item specified for invoice reference is not an invoice item
           Message no. F5348
          An invoice reference to a vendor credit (vendor in debit) and to a
          customer invoice (customer in credit) is not possible.
    Hence, there is the questions:
    1) It's SAP standard that DR could not be refereed to G2?
    2) If so, why system allow user to do it when she/he creates the DR?

    I just want to tell you this is not the standard practice.
    Normal process
    order >> delivery >> Invoice
    Now here two scenario;s
    Scenario 1 - Customer return or some other reason customer canceled and you want to credit him
    Credit memo request(reference to invoice) >> Credit memo
    Scenario 2 - Earlier invoice is wrong(wrong price) and you wanted to charge customer additional some amount
    Debit memo request >> Debit memo.

  • Wrong GL Dates for Distributions for Credit Memo with Rules

    Hi all
    Using Autoinvoice, Ive created Invoice with Invoice date 17-APR-08 and 12 month payment term. Invoice line has amount of $460 and deferred accounting rule of type "Accounting, Fixed Duration". Rule start date is 17-APR-08 and duration is 1.
    I run the Revenue Recognition and then Revenue Adjustment API "ar_revenueadjust_pub.earn_revenue" to create revenue account schedule for 12 month period based on business rules. Now I issue credit memo of $60 on 18-JUN-08 with LIFO rule method and LIFO split term method, against the above invoice line.
    I run revenue recognition, go to the credit memo distributions. All the distributions show GL Date as 17-APR-08 with correct percentages and amount as in the original invoice line.
    Can anyone help me understand why all distributions of credit memo have same gl date?

    Credit Memo is applied to invoice line with deferred rule.
    If I issue credit memo on 18-JUN-08 with LIFO against a Invoice line which uses "Daily Revenue - All Periods" rule, the distributions show
    GL Date - Dr - Cr - Amount
    17-FEB-09 REV UNEARN 0.77
    17-MAR-09 REV UNEARN 39.07
    16-MAR-09 REV UNEARN 20.16
    The above amounts are exactly the reverse distributions as in Original Invoice line.
    I was expecting the same thing to happen in Deferred Fixed rule, but the only difference is for Fixed rule I cannot populate Rule_End_Date through Autoinvoice or manually.

  • Creating credit memo request - V1 498 / missing order quantity

    Hi Experts,
    could any of You pls help me with a credit memo creation issue?
    I credit memo needed to be created based on invoice, so configuration  and copy control is done as usual, but I have a failure during CR order creation referring to an invoice F2.
    I got an error message: V1 498 - Credit  already exist for item... - and no qty is transferred to new document
    I have gone thought the threads on Forum, but none of the suggested solution was appropriate to solve the issue:
    - the document flow is updated in copy control ,
    - I can no remove the schedule line flag at VOV7 - the order qty will be missed but target qty is used, and end up incompletition (VU 019 error messge), so billing is faile
    - completition control set as B at VOV7,
    Still have the problem
    Could any of You pls help me - answers will be appreciated.

    V1 498 - Credit already exist for item...
    What the above message means is that lines items have already been used as reference for the creation of credit memo request(s).
    Create a new sales order, delivery and billing document. Then create credit memo request with reference to this new billing document and test.
    In VTAF copy control, at item level, field "Pos./neg. quantity" dictates how the quantity in the source document is affected by copy control.
    PS - I tried to create credit memo with reference to billing document (F2), there were no issues there. Therefore I am taking that the issue is with credit memo request (copied with ref to billing document F2)

  • Withholding Tax all Condtion table not appearing in Rebate Credit memo

    I am finding issue in rebate credit memo.
    Issue: In Acces sequence I have table 397 and extended 397 with additional fields.
    In normel credit memo I am able to find all these table in sales order Pricing Analysis tab.
    But in rebate credit memo, I am not able to find all table. Credit memo is showing 397 table but not showing ztable.
    Please check below screen shot for details
    1. 397 and 988 are identical and its appearing in rebate credit memo.
    I created 988 just to verify if any thing wrong in ztable generation or any thing missing to map.
    987 is extended table with addtional field sales doc. Type, Item category and its not appearing in Rebate credit memo.
    2. Rebate credit memo showing 988 and 397 table
    3. Normel credit memo showing all three table
    Question : How to get all three table in Rebate Credit memo?
    If 988 is appearing than why 987 is not populating.
    Both are Ztable and created together.
    I tried many combination but extended ztable not coming in rebate credit memo

    Routine 923 created as per SAP note 178824. And I am finding this issue only for rebate credit memo request.
    This condtion type (withholding tax ) is not part of rebate condtion. It is part of standard pricing procedure same like MWST.
    In Normel credit Memo (CR) all access assigned to this access sequnce is visible in sales order pricing analysis.
    But rebate credit memo request (B3) not showing all access (as in above screen shot). It shows only 2 access out of 3 access.
    One more addition
    If I am maintaining condtion record for visible access in rebate Credt memo request i.e. country / Tax relevant classifcation.
    SAP disble it in rebate credit memo request order.
    But normel Tax (MWST) is appearing in rebate credim memo request.
    I am not sure if this is due to standard sap.
    For Thailand we require withholding tax for Rebate credit memo.
    Please advice if any one can give some input on this.

  • MIRO - Credit memo posted before invoice

    Hello,
    I have a problem with MIRO.
    User is able to introduce credit memo to purchase order even if there was no invoice yet.
    The strange thing is that when he introduce PO number in MIRO (credit memo) system issue a message __M8080 Reversal quantity greater than quantity invoiced to date__ and that is ok but after user will click on multi account assignment and get the same mesaage "Reverse qty greater than qty credited so far Message no. M8476" but after he close the pop up with account assignemnt and back to main screen there is no message M8080 any more and user is abl;e to post credit memo with negative quantity what finally issue ABAP  error DYNPRO_FIELD_CONVERSION
    Screen name.............. "SAPLMR1M"
    Screen number............ 6310
    Screen field............. "DRSEG-REMNG"
    Error text............... "FX015: Sign lost.".
    When I would like to display invoice (credit memo) in MIR4 or from ME23n history.
    But the main question is why system clears message M8080 after clik on multi account assignement.?

    THis is definetly a issue related to SAP Note.
    Try this SAP note in dev.
    Note 1332137 - MIR6/MIR4: Negative quantity with parked documents
    Summary
    Symptom
    You use transaction MIR4 (Display Invoice Document) or MIR6 (Invoice Overview) to post a parked credit memo with reference to a purchase order.
    You change the item quantity (MENGE) so that it is greater than the current invoice quantity (REMNG) and, without pressing "Enter", you immediately choose "Post". Even though the system executes the quantity check correctly, and error message M8 080 "Reversal quantity greater than quantity invoiced to date" is displayed in the message log, the system unexpectedly allows this credit memo to be posted.
    As a result, when you display or create invoice documents for this purchase order, the ABAP short dump DYNPRO_FIELD_CONVERSION occurs.
    Solution
    The Support Packages for Releases 4.70, 5.00, 6.00, 6.02, 6.03 and 6.04 correct this error.
    If you require an advance correction: Implement the correction instructions.

    Can an

    Credit Memo:
    Credit Memo issued for the price difference or if over billed . Credit memo always assoicated with Quantity and price.
    Rebate Credit Memo:
    Rebate credit memo is issued for the accruals ( Discount amount disbursed to the customers based on agreement).
    Rebate credit memo cannot be created manually in VA01. Accrual amount is calculated by the system based on the settle periods maintained in the rebate aggreement however accrual amt can be changed manually in Aggreement.

  • Currency in Rebate Agreement is different to Curr. required for Credit Memo

    Hello!
    I have a question regarding Rebate Agreements.
    We have clients with whom we have Rebate Agreements in USD, but clients are chilean so the Credit Memo is meant to be in Chilean Pesos. But there is apparently no possiblity to change the currency neither in Credit Memo Request neither in Credit Memo. The Chilean Financial Institute does not allow Credit Memo Document issued in USD, it has to be in Chilean Pesos!
    Do you have any idea how to solve this problem?

    First of all maintain currency conversion in OBO8  . Now when you settle the rebate agreement then go to Credit memo order (change mode)  and in item data ->conditions tab change the currency then automatically the value will also change and the same value will flow to the Credit memo billing document and then you can forward it to FI.

    I have successufully completed the cycle intercompany return process
    which means
    Sales order --> Delivery --> Billing --> Intercompany billing
    then
    Return process
    Return order referring to Billing --> return delivery --> credit memo --> internal credit memo
    My issues is wth the accounting document in which there is a assignment and reference field
    for internal credit memo assignment should be of intercompany bill but currently its picking bill. How can i change that.

    Anybody update on this or any suggestion.

  • Business Practice for Credit Memos

    We have been trying to signal out the best way forward with this issue. You advice is appreciated.
    Our current sales process entails that we Create a Sales Order, Invoice, and once we receive payments, we fulfill.
    When customers don't do a complete payment, and midway through the contract decide to cancel their subscription, at that point, we are required to fulfill for what-ever amount they have paid to-date.
    The invoice is already made for the full amount, and for that we issue a credit memo. But we have to change the sales order for it to be fulfilled, to show the right numbers in the Certificate we print (that our product - Certificates).
    Now it does not sound like the best of things to do - change the sales order, because we have applied a credit memo to match the excess payment. So going back, you cant see why a credit memo was issued (apart from the invoice showing a higher amt. and the SO showing a lower).    
    We are on accrual accounting method, but there could be a time we issue a credit memo.  
    Is this a cause for concern? What would be a good process forward?

    You can also try this. See when you enter into contract for subscription for definate period of time you can create vaule contract or quantity contract. You can accrue the revenue on the basis of contract. Thus you will raise 100% debtors and create revenue accrual account (this will be balance sheet account). When you deliver certificates in your case you can create sales order against contract and create inovioce on that basis. It will also solve your revenue recognition problem if any. Also you can specify period of contract thus period gets over contract will expire and if in that case all subscriptions are not availed by customer you can pass reverse entry of the accrual entry and you will be able to clear customer.
    Please let me know what do you think about this view or else we can spend some more time on it.

    Credit memo is issued against the goods supplied for varuious reasons like qty discounts, price variances etc.
    This will be posted using FB75 in case of customers.
    Once posted you can use partial clearing or standard clearing using F-32.

    In the standard transaction VE01, where you check the billing documents which are relevant for the INTRASTAT report, we have found a situation where the standard SAP  excludes a billing document which should be considered in the report. If, for a certain period, the only billing document for a customer is a credit memo (we are paying a customer), in VE01 we get an error message, as follows:

    Hi. Yes, we are talking about a credit memo. But if a credit memo is issued in order to adjust a sales price of a previous dispatch (for example), this credit memo should be considered in the INTRASTAT report. The SAP standard functionality considers it, but if the original sales dispatch took place on a different period than the credit memo, we are not able to consider it in the INTRASTAT report.
