Credit Memo not seen in Reports

Hi all
My customer has a custom report which shows all the SD billed orders. The selection screens are Sales Doc# DocType, Industry Code, Material, Sold-to-party, Plant, Sales Order etc etc (all non Mandatory fields)
My problem is, any credit memos created with Order Type CR does not show up in the report. Can some one please tell me where this is controlled and how it can be made active?

Hi,
Kindly check the program logic for this report, I mean to say that see if there is any logic written for this report which excludes the credit memo documents. To be more specific about this try to see if there is any restrictions written depending upon the billing document type.

    Get your custom report checked by your technical buddy (ABAP), if coding has been done to fetch data on CR order type.(Credit Memo request).
    Also, if your Credit Memo billing Type is there in the output logic or not.
    At the same time, get it checked from the User if this issue was there existing before or not.

  • Cancel Credit Memo Not passed to Accounting

    My client have a Issue there raised Credit memo request with reference to billing document later there convert into Credit Memo, later there found amount there given is wrong credit memo request, there cancel credit memo the problem is that system not generate any accounting document Due to the Number range Issue and we fix the issue ( Same Series of number ranges RV and accounting ) previous it was the other Series of number ranges
    The problem is Cancellation of credit memo not passed to accounting and credit memo already passed to accounting 
    Can we delete Billing document not passed to Accounting So i can again Cancel the Credit memo
    it very urgentt

    Hi,
    to cance a cancellation document, check note 388489.
    But the status of the original document won't change thus you cannot cancel it again. The solution is creating a debit memo.

  • SD  Credit memo note process

    Hi Gurus,
    My concern is " My user was creating Credit memo note on certain order reasons, and based on this order he will be doing billing, now he want that system has to  trigger separate G/L accounts based on order reasons. Can it be done in standard SAP system.
    Please consider this issue as top priority.

    You can give order reason in VKOA, but first you shall have to create a cond table with the appropriate fields (like Order reason)
    it is same as giving Acc Key (ERL etc.) in VKOA, but first you have to create a cond table with field Account key.
    It is all part of standard configuration.
    Order reason is a field already provided (technical name mentioned by member). You have to complete the configuration steps, which shall lead to amount being posted to right account, after system finds a valid condition record.
    Thus check if there is a cond table already with the fields you want.
    Check if this cond table is in your access seq.
    Then create condition record in VKOA
    Test by creating and posting a credit memo.

  • Credit memo not generated for RMA Receipt

    i created RMA receipt but for this credit memo not generated in AR, Manually i have run the Workflow Background Process  & Receiving transaction processor concurrent also. even though CM not generated(In AR Interface lines table also data is not available)..or else is there any possibility for cancel or return the RMA Receipt quantity?

  • Filter Credit Memo's from  Invoice Reports

    Hi All,
    The SPM extractor for Invoices includes a filter based on Posting Key to only include types of 21, 22, 31, 32 which are Credit Memo, Reverse Invoice, Invoice, and Reverse Credit Memo. We have a requirement on our Invoice based reports to exclude Credit Memos, Reverse Invoices, and Reverse Credit Memo's. As the Posting Key is not brought into the data model in SPM, is any other way to create a filter to cater for this requirement?

    We had thought this would be the case. We will look at extending the extractor to include the posting key. This will give the users the option to filter on the type of document.

  • How to exclude the debit memo & credit memo out of COPA report (KE30)?

    As captioned, now the current KE30 default transfers all the data from sales orders interfaces (via VA01), such as common sales order, 3rd party drop shipment, credit memo and debit memo etc.
    Is there any idea to exclude the quantities display in KE30 towards Credit memo and debit memo? An user exit?

    You need to clear some concepts in COPA.
    A similar example for you, COPA likes a supermarket, vendors supply stuff (data of billings etc) into the supermarket, then you select the stuff you want (Report result) by putting them into the shopping trolley. And KE30 likes the shopping trolley.
    Now the question, do you wish the vendors do not supply certain stuff (credit meno etc) into the market or you just do not put the stuff into your shopping trolley only? Configure by Tcode KE4W for the former case or create the report in Tcode KE30 with certain selection rule for the later case.

  • Credit Memo not applied to Invoice

    One of our customers has had this scenario several times recently:
    1. An A/R Invoice is created for 100.00
    2. An A/R Credit memo is based on the invoice for 100.00 
    3. The Credit Memo is added.
    4. The Credit Memo is closed, but the invoice remains open.
    5. Both the invoice and credit memo appear as unreconciled transactions.
    6. The user attempts to reconcile the two documents.
    7. The invoice is then closed, but the credit memo becomes open and has a balance of -100.00
    The problem occurs at step 4 - why would the documents not be reconciled, and why is the invoice open while the credit memo is closed?  Nothing works right from that point on.
    The system is 2007A PL42.
    Any suggestions would be welcome.  Thank you.

    Hi Marcia,
    An upgrade might stop it from occurring, I don't recall seeing this for a while. 2007A goes out of maintenance at the end of this year.

  • Credit memo not saving

    Hi all,
            I have a customer who is trying to save a couple credit memo and when she clicks on execute it highlights the quantity field and doesn't save. The credit memo is working for other invoices in the same area. The customer is using SAP B1 2005 Pl 45. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Believing it is AR Credit Memo we are talking about it increases the quantity on stock and not reduce..

    check VE80, if you have an exclusion indicator on the item category.
    If not try to run VE01 for your country and mark only credit memos. Use log type B. Check the message in the incompletion log. If your credit memos are not in the incompletion log, than run the transaction transaction VE08 you run before again. The credit memos should show up, otheriwse let me know what is the message in the incompletion log.
    Check also if you need to show credit memo from legal point. From my point of view it should show only data related to deliveries.

  • Brazil - Withholding tax in A/R credit memos / notes

    Hi all,
    We have implemented a proto-type of SAP ERP in Brazil to check out the taxes and in particularly the withholding taxes (WHT). We now have a test customer and test vendor for which withholding taxes have been activated and as a result, a withholding tax windows pops up while making a manual entry in FB01. The result of 4 test cases is as follows:
    1) Manual entry A/P invoice => WHT data can be entered in pop-up window => OK
    2) Manual entry A/P credit note => WHT data can be entered in pop-up window => OK
    3) Manual entry A/R invoice => WHT data can be entered in pop-up window => OK
    4) Manual entry A/R credit note => Pop-up window does not appear so WHT data can NOT be entered => not OK
    I am puzzled why the WHT pop-up window does not show for case 4. I must be able to post a credit memo in case an incorrect outgoing invoice was originally posted in the external system according to the following workflow:
    1) Outgoing A/R invoice is issued including WHT with doc.number 123456
    2) More invoices to other customers are issued with doc. numbers 123457 and 123458
    3) We now find that the invoice 1) was incorrect so want to issue a credit note with the orignal (WHT) values whereby the credit note receives doc.number 123459
    4) Now we re-issue the corrected invoice including WHT with doc.number 123460
    Within SAP, I could use FB08 of course for the reversal, but this won't work in the situation above where my document number is provided by the external system.
    Does anyone have experiences with WHT in Brazil and is our customising incorrect or is anyone aware of a common business practise why the WHT pop-up window does not appear for the outgoing A/R credit note.

    I'm facing the same problem with the Withholding Tax in Mexico regarding A/R Credti Memos not being able to be posted. You mentioned that a posting key was the solution, could you please explain to me in more detail how does this posting key solution works?
    I have reviewed all of the configuration and nothing seems to work.

  • Credit-memo not able to be posted against a WBS Element

    Hi there,
    When the available amount on a WBS element is less than the credit memo amount, SAP gets a hard stop of budget exceeded.
    It`s wrong since a credit is giving money back to the project and you should be able to enter it regardless of available funds.
    Important notes: I'm trying to post this credit-memo against the WBS Element via MIRO transaction (credit memo option).
    Is there any customizing in IM where I can define it?

    You are trying to post a credit memo again a purchase order since its via MM. Therefore how can you have a credit memo value exceeding the original invoice value?
    If you are trying to post an advance (as you have mentioned that you are receiving money to the project), it should be recored as an advance rather than a credit memo. Consider the double entry you want to post to.

  • Credit memo not passing amount to invoice

    I am trying to create a credit memo request with reference to a billing document. When i save and try to create an invoice for the credit memo request, it does not pull in the amount.
    i.e if i have created a Cr memo request for $50 save -> create invoice, the amount in the invoice is $0.0 .
    I think there is something missing from Copy control. Any suggestions?
