Credit Memos not seen in the Report
Hi all
My customer has a custom report which shows all the SD billed orders. The selection screens are Sales Doc# DocType, Industry Code, Material, Sold-to-party, Plant, Sales Order etc etc (all non Mandatory fields)
My problem is, any credit memos created with Order Type CR does not show up in the report. Can some one please tell me where this is controlled and how it can be made active?
Dear Madhu,
Get your custom report checked by your technical buddy (ABAP), if coding has been done to fetch data on CR order type.(Credit Memo request).
Also, if your Credit Memo billing Type is there in the output logic or not.
At the same time, get it checked from the User if this issue was there existing before or not.

Kindly check the program logic for this report, I mean to say that see if there is any logic written for this report which excludes the credit memo documents. To be more specific about this try to see if there is any restrictions written depending upon the billing document type.

MSCI planning transaction - planning data have not seen in the report

We are updating the sales planning via transaction MC88. So my goal is to see the results in the reports MCSI, but I have not seen the planned quontity. I have only seen the Actuals.
Please help me how to set up the system in order to see planned data in the report.

The report will say "No Data Available" only when the selection of variables doesn't match with the data exists in the InfoCube.
Or when the condition is activated with the setting wherein no data found in the Cube.
Apply the condition or variable selection for which the data exists in the backend(Cube).

Credit Memo not applied to Invoice
One of our customers has had this scenario several times recently:
1. An A/R Invoice is created for 100.00
2. An A/R Credit memo is based on the invoice for 100.00
3. The Credit Memo is added.
4. The Credit Memo is closed, but the invoice remains open.
5. Both the invoice and credit memo appear as unreconciled transactions.
6. The user attempts to reconcile the two documents.
7. The invoice is then closed, but the credit memo becomes open and has a balance of -100.00
The problem occurs at step 4 - why would the documents not be reconciled, and why is the invoice open while the credit memo is closed? Nothing works right from that point on.
The system is 2007A PL42.
Any suggestions would be welcome. Thank you.

An upgrade might stop it from occurring, I don't recall seeing this for a while. 2007A goes out of maintenance at the end of this year. -
Put the balance back in credit memo if I cancel the refund invoice in AP
Hi Friends,
.When I Crete a the refund in AR for the credit memo , an invoice will be created for the party in AP. But if I cancel the AP invoice. This is not putting back the balance in my AR credit memo. We are on 12.1 , Please suggest if there are any patches or any addition setup to be done to put the balance back in credit memo if I cancel the refund invoice in AP.
. Is there any program create refunds invoice in AP for all the credit memos available in AR?
Please give some suggestions,

When I Crete a the refund in AR. it creates a Payment request invoice in AP for that party. But if i cancel the invoice create in AP for the refund, that is not effecting the customer balance in AR. Please suggest.

Cancel Credit Memo Not passed to Accounting

My client have a Issue there raised Credit memo request with reference to billing document later there convert into Credit Memo, later there found amount there given is wrong credit memo request, there cancel credit memo the problem is that system not generate any accounting document Due to the Number range Issue and we fix the issue ( Same Series of number ranges RV and accounting ) previous it was the other Series of number ranges
The problem is Cancellation of credit memo not passed to accounting and credit memo already passed to accounting
Can we delete Billing document not passed to Accounting So i can again Cancel the Credit memo

to cance a cancellation document, check note 388489.
But the status of the original document won't change thus you cannot cancel it again. The solution is creating a debit memo.

My concern is " My user was creating Credit memo note on certain order reasons, and based on this order he will be doing billing, now he want that system has to trigger separate G/L accounts based on order reasons. Can it be done in standard SAP system.
Please consider this issue as top priority.

SUBBUYou can give order reason in VKOA, but first you shall have to create a cond table with the appropriate fields (like Order reason)
it is same as giving Acc Key (ERL etc.) in VKOA, but first you have to create a cond table with field Account key.
It is all part of standard configuration.
Order reason is a field already provided (technical name mentioned by member). You have to complete the configuration steps, which shall lead to amount being posted to right account, after system finds a valid condition record.
Thus check if there is a cond table already with the fields you want.
Check if this cond table is in your access seq.
Then create condition record in VKOA
Test by creating and posting a credit memo.

F-41 vs MIRO - duplicate credit memo not checked in MIRO
Hi,
We used to do F-41 for credit memos to our suppliers. We recently decided to use MIRO instead. We realized that the system does not warn the user anymore when he tries to enter a duplicate credit memo.
In F-41, when we enter 2 credit memos with the same information:
-Vendor
-Currency
-Company code
-Gross amount of the invoice
-Reference document number
-Invoice document date
This error message appears: check whether document has already been entered under number ADM XXXXXXXXX XXXX.
Using MIRO, we don't get this error message anymore. We would like this message to appear also in MIRO.
Is it a functional issue?
I checked the master data of the supplier, and the check box Chk double inv. is checked.
Is it a configuration issue?
I checked t-code OMRDC and the 3 check box are marked with a check (check co. code, check reference, check inv. date).
I looked at SAP help and it says: When you enter credit memos or subsequent adjustments, the system does not check for duplicate invoices. I'm not so sure what this statement means....

Credit memo not generated for RMA Receipt
Hi,
i created RMA receipt but for this credit memo not generated in AR, Manually i have run the Workflow Background Process & Receiving transaction processor concurrent also. even though CM not generated(In AR Interface lines table also data is not available)..or else is there any possibility for cancel or return the RMA Receipt quantity?

I am reading SQLExpressionFields from one source .rpt file & want to add it to another ReportDocument. While doing so, it gives an error " The formula syntax is not supported by the report"
doc.ReportClientDocumentDataDefController.FormulaFieldController.Add(formualField); // formualField is SQLExpressionField from source ReportDocument
But when I tried to Add FormulaField, it succeeds
Please help me in knowing how to add SQlExpressionFields to ReportDocument.

CR provides support for addition/modification of SQLExpressions.

innerReport .SQLExpressionFields.Add(name, strSQLExpression)
CRAXDRT.dll provides support for addition/modification of SQLExpression fields. But its not compatible with 64bit.
Just curious to know, is there any future plan to provide support for add/modify SQLExpression fields?

Lead time values are not appearing in the report for current year.

Iam checking a report in production. where lead time values are displayed as 0 for 1 key figure lead time3 (w/0 dim) . i found there is a formula for this it shows like NODIM ( 'Lead Time 3' ).and there is a value for cal.lead time
how can i get values in the report.

Although your question is not clear, I understood that the formula built on that KF is NODIM. Basically it means, units of measurement is not considered when calculating.
Eg: 5 Minutes + 5 Kilograms = 10
You please try to analyze your KF by the above logic. Then you would be able to figure out why the data is not appearing in the report..

After upgrading to 10.3.1 Any kind of USB key is not seen by the OS, even after restarting the operating system.
With original OS 10.3 could connect USB key to transfer my photos with file manager.
Any suggestions?There a lot of issues being discovered by users doing the upgrade OTA or using Link. And they are varied. It's had to say whether your problem another of these issues or something else. Those I trust are recommending a clean OS install using an autoloader as so far there are not the same problems afterward.
You could try the autoloader route. Do a backup first. After the clean OS install, test before you do a restore and install app. If problem is gone, then you know the clean OS works. The next question will be if the problem returns when you restore or add apps.

We have uploaded the GL balances in 2008 for the year 2007. But they are not updating in the F.08 report when i executed for 2008.
Why they are not updating in the report. In which table can i check the Data migration values in the system?

F.08 Report for the year 2008 is showing only 2008 accumulated values. But not showing the Opening balances which we have uploaded in 2008 for the before years like 2007.
Why it is showing like that?
