Credit One Bank Response to Goodwill Letter that I emailed - Hopefully it is good news!

I received this response from Credit One Bank after emailing them a goodwill letter, hopefully something good will come from it: This office has received your request and is currently reviewing. We will provide you with a written response. We are unable to do so via email at this time. If you have any questions during this review, please contact me at the telephone number listed below. We are available from Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Thank you

Just wanted to let you know I had recent success with HSBC (now CapOne) and American Honda Finance.  HSBC was a charged off.  I just sent a letter to the address in my CR (the name was HSBC but the address was CapOne) asking them to provide more details on the debt.  I received a letter stating that the tradelines were being deleted.  American Honda Finance was a harder nut to crack.  First, I sent them GW letters to remove one 30 day late for months but I kept receiving the normal 'we are reporting correctly' letters.  I then started to fax them the GW when that didn't work I emailed about 5 excecutives at Honda and one day the 30 day late disappeared. I never received a letter, email or any communication from them that the 30 late would be removed.  If you need any information, pm me.

Hello! New to the forum and I'm currently in the process of repairing my credit.  I recently opened my first secured credit card with Capital One Bank two months ago....limit is $300. I've used it quite a bit, but I always make sure to pay off the full balance before it's due. Today, I received an offer from Credit One Bank. I've heard that the majority only get approved for $300 upfront. I'm quite skeptical about the fees (23.90% APR  and the $75 annual fee) Is this a good card to add? I have about $1,300 in debt, 8 derogatory accounts that have zero balances which expire in 2016/2017, 1 paid judgement from 2011 and 2 closed accounts in good standing. My FICO score sits in the 620s with all 3 credit unions. Should I focus on paying down my debts vs. opening another credit card? Or move forward with both? Like most, I'm hoping to purchase a home, so I'm ready to get this ball rolling. Any advice is appreciated!

You would be much better off getting another secured card from someplace like SDFCU.  I have about $1,300 in debt, 8 derogatory accounts that have zero balances which expire in 2016/2017, 1 paid judgement from 2011 and 2 closed accounts in good standing. Once it reports you will get a score boost. Then go apply at Capital One for an unsecured card.

I have four devices on one Apple ID, i have seperate emails and phone numbers for each device but when I tried to add one to my iPod, it said that the email was already in use.  I have tried many things and the only guess I have is that either someone else has this email as their iMessage but is fake or it wasn't taken off my old iPod when I reset it.  Any ideas on what to do?

Thanks but that doesn't give me the information I need.  I am putting an email on my ipod for people to contact me for iMessage and FaceTime but when I put the email in, it gives me an error saying that the email cannot be veirified because it is already in use.  My Apple ID can be varified, just not the email that they will contact me with.

  • Dispute or wait for items to fall off? Bank of America goodwill letter denied

I plan to apply for a mortgage pre-approval in 02/2016 and want to remove all negative information from my credit reports before doing so.  The only thing standing between me and a clean credit report is Bank of America and a CC i had with them. Late payments are 30 days late Nov, 60 days late Dec 2008, 30 days late April 2009, 60 days late May 2009, and 90 days late June 2009 and  30 days late January 2011. I have sent 2 goodwill letters to their general address from the credit report and one email to the CEO and they shut me down each time by saying that the information is being reported accurately.  I believe that they are reporting inaccurate information and I think I would be able to have this removed from my report, but is it worth it at this time? Its been 6 years since 5 of the 6 late payments occurred and was wondering if removing the late payments would boost my score or hurt my score due to losing the age of the account, which was opened in 2005. My current AAoA is 4 years 4 months. The inaccurate information shows that the account was closed and opened multiple times, and the last reported date was 2/2015 despite my last payment being made in 2/2014 to pay off the old money owed on the card. Also, its showing a $25 monthly payment. Any suggestions?

  • Any way to switch apps that used an old apple ID on the phone cause I can't update them since it won't let me change my new bank card visa details on that account which is the whole reason I made a new acc so i could download apps again.

Some of my apps are used on my old apple ID but then I lost my bank card visa had to get a new one then the transactions went thru that I made on my old apple ID and now it asks me to update my billing info cause I had got a new card and I tried doing that but it wouldn't accept my security code (the three numbers on the back of the card so I had to make a new account and that new account accepted the new card just fine so it wasn't the cards problem and now I can't update my apps used on the old APPLE ID because it wants me to pay off the transactions I made on that account but I can't pay it off cause it wont accept my new card.. So i don't know what to do. Can't just delete the apps cause one of em has a bunch of my music on it and te other that needs updating is too big of a file to redownload since I have no Internet now and the iPhone only lets you download 20mb or lower apps without wifi

  • Tracking of due dates in case of letter of credit and bank guarantee

    Hi
In case of letter of credit and bank guarantee can a track be kept in sap for bill negotiated and due (means the vendor has claimed payment but payment from us to our bank is not due) ,
negotiated and due(means our payment is due)
and bills negotiated and overdue (means payment from our side to our bank is overdue)
how is it possible plz explain in detail as i have never worked ob LC and BG.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
Thanks for the answer I will try to explain my requirement .
In case of import and exports Letter of credit and bank guarantee are opened with the bank. There can be amendments also after its creation in terms , amount or validity period. Then it is negotiated and retired.
An example : A letter of credit is opened on 1st Jan. The goods are shipped on 7th Jan .Credit term given by our bank (in case of import) is 1 month which is counted from the shipment date and it expires on 7th feb. The vendor negotiates the bill on 15th jan.
The requirement is to get a report of u2018negotiated and dueu2019 and u2018negotiated and overdueu2019category.
Like from 15th Jan to 7th Feb the bill negotiated by the vendor comes under u2018negotiated and dueu2019 category and after that it comes under u2018negotiated and overdueu2019category.
List of letter of credits established , negotiated , retired and balance if any.
Letter of credit wise u2013 Bank charges paid. i.e at the time of opening , amendment , negotiation and retirement.
Same in case of bank guarantee also.
Plz explain me how can this be tracked and how to configure this.

  • My location service is not working from the day one the response is that (cannot able to determine the location) .What can i need to do to see my location in maps and other application even the location services is enabled in the settings?

From the day one the response is that (cannot able to determine the location) while using ios5.1 .What can i need to do to see my location in maps and other application even the location services is enabled in the settings?.Which means that is there is any problem in my ipad ? currently running on IOS 6.

Your location is determined from a location database which contains the MAC addresses of routers and their physical location. A MAC address is a unique number which is built-in to all network devices when manufactured. The database is built and updated by actually driving around and mapping router locations.
Since you just moved the location of your router has not been updated in the database and when you use Maps you will see your old location.
If you go outside your house you can be correctly located because your iPod sees other routers which are in the location database. Note that you do not need to be connected to a router for your iPod to see it and obtain its MAC address.

Switched computers due to a crash. I authorised the new one. It won't let me play songs in my library that were purchased from I-tunes. Please help.

All content that you download from iTunes is tied to the account that downloaded it, and it can't be transferred to or merged with another account - so you will need to authorise that old account on that computer if you want to use its content.
If you still have access to the email accoun then you can try getting the password reset via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password
If you don't have access to the email account then you could try contacting iTunes support and see if they can help you get access to the account : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

If my banks records don't match my credit card info, how do I fix that?

If you have a Mac (don't know about Windows), you can disable automatic syncing in iTunes > Preferences > Devices:
That way, you can manually do it by plugging in the device and launching iTunes.

    Hi Jez224,
This article will tell you how to change the email address associated with your Apple ID -
    Change your Apple ID
The following section is particularly important -
You can change your Apple ID to any address, except an address used by another Apple ID. You can change the address of any Apple ID, except an Apple ID that ends with @icloud.com, @me.com, or @mac.com.

I purchased Adobe XI for a year.  I am charged monthly on my credit card.  The software only allows one print file to pdf  after that it has a pop up marketing screen asking me to purchase it again.  If I reboot I can get another print out of it.  After an hour of trying to reach somone on tech support I ran across this forum.  Any help out there?

In the pop-up screen, have you tried licensing it and signing in? Signing in is crucial, so it knows what you paid for.

  • First Goodwill Letter - SETF

Hi everyone -  I will be writing my first goodwill letter and have several examples to pull from but wanted to get some advice from you since you guys know the ins and outs of doing this.   I traded in my car the day of my payment due date on 6/29, and although I realize now I should've went ahead and paid that payment, since this was my first time trading in I assumed the process was rather quick.  I traded it in at a Toyota dealership and the loan was through Southeast Toyota Finance.  Just some backstory, I bought the car in 2012 and in early 2013, unfortunately my longstanding job of 10 years went out of business and I struggled paying it.  I kept in touch with them but I got 2 months behind twice and 30 days behind several times over the course of about 6-8 months.  I finally got another really good job and quickly caught back up in late 2013 and have since paid it on time, every single month without fail.  The late payments really wrecked my credit since I didn't have many credit lines but paying on time for such a long period has helped tremendously.  I was about to break 600 (which for me was a great feat coming from the low 400s) when I traded it in on 6/29. However, the process was not quick and unfortunately, the dealership didn't get the payoff to them until last week.  I kept on them 2-3 times a week.  Granted, the cosigner was sent paperwork to sign off on their portion but the dealership just took their time doing everything.  So needless to say, even though I kept in touch with SETF on my end, they reported at least one late payment, maybe two.  I'm pulling my reports now to see but under myfico, my scores took a huge hit from that.  Which is such a bummer.  Lesson learned that next time, I will just pay the payments until I know it's been paid off.  But the payoff amount included those 2 payments from the dealership so it would've been paid twice in my eyes, but maybe I just don't understand it enough.   So here I am with late payments again and I'm hoping with a goodwill letter, they will take them off after seeing that I've been paying on time for almost 2 years.  I was just looking on their website at the contact info and I can either mail it to a general PO Box address or email them.  Any suggestions? Thanks!

When trading in a financed car, I've called the Creditors and asked them to hold my payment for that month. Gave me time to see if I needed to pay that or if my trade in value was enough to pay off the entire balance, it would without any lapses. Used on Lexus w Cap1 Auto - no missed payments car paid in full during last payment month. Talking a week later than actual billing date. as for GW, one that has worked for me was sincere, friendly, short and to the point and most of all polite. You're now asking a favor and they have you by the short and curlies. "I lost my job and steady income in 2012, but as you can see from after that event, I have made timely payments as I understand the need to hold up financial responsibility" you got this. Go get em.

  • Fed up with Credit One...

I had worse words to use but this is a public forum...  Well, here is my problem: 1. Got this card in October 14, during my rebuild days. Initial limit was 300 and then increased to 500 in Mar 15.2. Statement date is 11th of every month. However, to ease my payment dates, got the payment date changed to 1st of every month.3. Last statement was generated in June 11th. Till now, there are no new statements. Have tried calling them thrice but they don't understand the problem !!4. Calling Credit One is a painful process. Go through the automated system then press 0 and.....the great operator asks details from the scratch - my full card number, social, DoB, etc etc...after I pass that phase, I'm told the standard answer "you're subscribed for online statements only".5. This happened 3 times and in the last call I lost my cool and told the cust serv agent to stop BS'ing and let me know when will my statement be generated. Was kept on hold for 15 minutes and I finally hung up. Now, I need suggestions on: 1. Should I close the card? I'm carrying $25 balance on the 500 limit. No big deal in paying it out.2. As this is one of my oldest cards (still 9 months old, as I've 10 month credit history), closing will impact my score? I do have another card slightly older than this.3. Is there way, other than snail mail, to complain to Creditone on their lousy customer service? Thanks in advance to all the contributors for helping me in my credit journey

Shred it and mail it back to them with a nice middle finger (not literally of course). I am so glad I never activated my card when I was approved by them. No CCC should ever make you jump through hoops just to have a few simple questions answered....not to mention Credit One is a joke!
