[CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE] Cannot generate Sales Areas

HI CRM experts,
Can you please help us with this problem? We are trying to generate 11 Sales Areas from R3 to CRM using txn CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE. 6 of them were generated successfully but the other 5 were not and has a red icon under Generated column.
Can you please let us know what to check or how to correct this problem?
Hoping for your kind assistance. Thanks!
Best regards,
Mike

Hi Experts,
I think i know the cause of this issue. hope you can help me figure out the solution.
From what i understand, the logic of this CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE is that it checks the R/3 sites in SMOEAC and it selects one ECC system (not sure if it's alphabetically or by date of creation) and displays the sales areas maintained in that ECC system.  THe problem is that the CRM system is connected to several ECC systems and i want it to select the sales area from another ECC system, not the one it is currently pulling from.
Do you know how to debug/change the ECC system it pulls sales area data from?
Thanks. Appreciate all your help.
Regards,
Katrina

  • Access restriction based on Sales Units / Sales Area

    Hi all,
I am looking into the access restriction functionality on business roles.
One of our customers has a requirement to separate data between their different sales organisations. One sales organisation should not see customers, opportunities of the other sales organisation and vice versa.
In the access restriction I see that the access context defines on which elements you can set the access restriction.
For customers and opportunities the possibilities are: Employee or Territory.
Setting the access restriction on Employees is not a solid solution for me (when the employees are changed in the org model, the access restriction is influenced on several business roles..)
So what if we do not use territory management / if the territory management setup differs from the actual sales areas / sales units?
So my main questions are: can we set access restriction based on Sales Units? (we will setup integration with SAP ERP which means we cannot enter sales areas for prospects...). And can we influence the access context or do we need developments for that?
    Kind regards,
    Jasper

We plan to enhance the access restrictions based on sales organization and distribution channel in a future release.
If you setup territory management, we offer sales office and sales group including sales organization as attributes to define a territory if you are connected with SAP ERP.

  • Cannot generate .chm; no images are compiling.

Thank you in advance for any help.  Here is the situation:  I am using RoboHelp HTML, ver. 8 and have a project that I cannot generate a .chm file for.  Each time I try it runs through the compiler, the output shows .htm files but no image files are included in the compiling process and I end up with a "Fatal Error:  Unexpected error from Microsoft HTML compiler" message.
To generate the file I am going to:  File, Generate, Primary Layout (Microsoft HTML Help).  When I try to open the .chm file I get a message that says "Cannot open the file:  mk:@MSITStore:C|(the directory I saved it to).
There are broken links which haven't been fixed yet but we would like to be able to still generate a .chm file so content can be reviewed.  Is it possible to have a successful .chm file compiled if you have broken links?
Thank you again for any help!

    Hi,
I can't say I have a solution to your problem but I have run into similar situations. Unfortunately, I don't seem to have documented them anywhere...thus I will have to rely on my sketchy memory.
First though, I will respond with two points I am quite certain about:
    - Having broken links in your project should not cause any generation problems other than the obvious missing links in the output CHM.
    - You do not see any images in the compiling process because there is a problem earlier on in the html compilation part.
In my case, I had a project with a multi-level folder hierarchy. With longer filenames totalling a very large number of total characters in the full path, the project would take a very long time to build and, ultimately, I would end up with a "Fatal Error". IF you have a project with even a single instance of a very long full path, this could be the source of the problem. Keep in mind that during the compilation process the full file path is lengthened by the addition of the temporary folder in which the product is built, by default, in the !SSL! folder. My solution was to simply generate to an output folder at the top level e.g. C:\Output. It may, however, be the case that you would have to shorten some of your file/folder names.
In other cases, I could not find a culprit per se, but ended up deleting the .cpd, which is known to sometimes become corrupt. Upon opening the project again, a fresh .cpd was built and the project ran without issue.
Obviously, if you try either of these suggestions, I highly recommend ensuring you have a backup if one does not already exist on a version control system.

  • Sales Area Data Cannot be Cleared after deletion

    Hi All!
We are installing CRM 5.0 by following the SAP Best Practice. However, while creating organizational structure in CRM, we did not replicate the sales area data from R/3. Instead we created the org. structure manually in CRM. So we decided to delete the manually created org. units and download from R/3. Everything went fine until the point when we tried to assign the sales area data to a new BP (Organization). Every item in the list says 'Not found' but the new ones replicated from R/3 is not on the list.
It sounds to me that some buffer in CRM that contains the sales area data is not cleared. I ran the ABAP program 'HRBCI_ATTRIBUTE.....' but it didn't help.
    Any sugguestion/advice?
    Thanks,
    Leon

Try turning on buffering for Scenarion Sales in the table T77OMATTR. This should help solve you issue.

  • Extend Sales area data of a BP via copy

    Hi,
Is there any functionality in SAP CRM 2007 to extend the Sales area data for a BP via copying.
Example: BP 'A' has been created for Sales area 'AB' and the relevant fields have been populated. Later on the BP 'A' needs to be extended to Sales area 'CD', 'EF' and 'GH'. Since only a few fields differ in the different Sales areas a copy of Sales area 'AB' to 'CD', 'EF' and 'GH' is requested. Is that possible?
In ECC this is possible but I cannot find the similar functionality in CRM.
    Thanks for your help!
    BR,
    //Anders

You can use AET to extend the sales area data of BP.  However, it wont add the fields automatically in GUI, But the generated fields are available in the relevant DB tables.
BP GUI transaction is no more supported . Im not sure why you want to work on GUI.

  • ISA ERP Sales Order takes wrong sales area

    Hi experts!!
I am facing a very strange issue:
I have configured my eshop(B2B scenario, ERP edition) for 1000 10 10 sales area. So far everything was fine until some customers were extended to 1000 20 20 sales area, and now SOME sales orders for those customers that were extended are created from the eshop to 1000 20 20 sales area. I cannot find any difference between sales areas. But the second one is NOWHERE in Internet Sales Configuration.
    Please Help!!!

Instead of using an external breakpoint, you can use "generate test data" described in Note 517767.
That is much easier than with a breakpoint...and you can use it in future for other analysis of BAPI's too.
Both ways are possible, but in my point of view its easier with test datas at the transaction SE37.
    Best regards,
    Toni

  • Error while posting Customer with Multiple sales areas using DEBMAS05.

    Dear experts,
We are generating IDOCS vis SAP DS for posting Customer master. The message type used is DEBMAS and basic type is DEBMAS05.  we have a requirement to create 1 customer with multiple sales areas. However, we are ending up with a strange error:  "Fill all required fields SAPMF02D 0111 ADDR1_DATA-NAME1". Despite the IDOC going into status 51, the customer gets created and the 1st sales area too. the 2nd sales area however is not created!  The IDOC data definitely contains Name1, otherwise the customer would not have been created in the first place.
As the error message is related to the Address data, I also explored upon exploring this erorr further on the lines of Central Address management where in the ADRMAS and DEBMAS have to be passed together(IDOC Serialiization).  OSS Note (384462)  provides further details about this. One Important point from the note is:
"As you have to specify the logical name of the sending system among other things, SAP is not able to make any default settings in the standard systems. When you use the serialization groups delivered as a standard by SAP, the address objects are imported before the master objects. Thus the sequence address data before master objects must only be adhered to if one of the following points applies to your application:
Such fields are set as required entry fields that are only provided by the BAS in the Customizing of the customer or vendor master.
For your customers, contact persons exist to which a private address or a different business address is assigned.".
This is not the case in our situation, as we do not have required entry fields in customizing that are only provided by the BAS, so the error is all the more confusing and I am not too sure what the cause is.
If someone have experienced the same issue before and have found a solution to it, kindly help out.

I have found the cause and solution to this problem.
This error ”Fill all required fields SAPMF02D 0111 ADDR1_DATA-NAME1” and other similar errors like “Fill all required fields SAPMF02D 0111 ADDR1_DATA-SORT1“ which occurrs during the IDOC posting when there are more than one sales area or company code occurs when the customer number range is set up for Internal numbering. This means, that the number gets generated only at the time of save and upon debugging the IDOC, we found out that after creating the customer and the first sales area/company code record, the segment E1KNA1M is cleared completely! This is the reason, it throws an error which points to a mandatory KNA1 field as missing. (Like NAME1, SORT1 etc.)
This was resolved by splitting the IDOC into 2.
The solution is to First post only the KNA1 segment and create the customer.
In the second step, pass the IDOC with all other segments along with E1KNA1M, but pass only KUNNR in E1KNA1M and the rest of the fields in E1KNA1M as “/”:  you would have got the KUNNR after the first step.
Important note: This requirement to split the IDOCs does not occur when the customer number is known upfront. (Meaning cases where the customer number is externally generated) I also tested this and created a customer with external numbering and I was able to post more than 1 sales area with the same IDOC.
I noticed multiple threads with the same issue, but none of it had a concrete answer. I hope this information will be useful for anyone facing similar problems.
    Cheers
    Venkat

  • The BEx Analyzer cannot generate VBA code due to the security settings

    Hello experts,
when I try to open a query in BEx Analyser I get this error message for each Item of the Query:
    Diagnosis
The BEx Analyzer cannot generate VBA code due to the security settings.
    System Response
    VBA code is not generated.
    Procedure
Choose Tools -> Macro -> Security.
On the Trusted Publishers tab page, select Trust access to Visual Basic project.

Close the BEx Analyzer and continue working as before.
Access to Visual Basic project is only needed when generating VBA code.
This only takes place in design mode or when 3.x workbooks are upgraded.
Of course I did exactly what was recommanded in the "procedure-section" of this error message. But BEx ist still not working!
I use SAP NetWeaver 7.0 together with MS Excel 2007

    Hello experts,
I am an additional person interested in the way this issue was solved.
I confirm that the issue is coming from the SP2 of Microsoft Office (I have another environnement without the SP2 and everything works well), and I am in a situation where I can't remove the update.

  • Need to Create Customer Master Data under Multiple Sales Areas

    Hi Gurus,
My requirement is to create a customer under multiple sales areas by processing the Inbound Idoc function module "IDOC_INPUT_DEBITOR"( After generating Outbound Idoc and outbound is processed successfully).
But, when I am trying to send the multiple sales areas information in segment "E1KNVVM". It is creating the customer under first sales area filled in first E1KNVVM segment and it is giving error that "Fill all required fields SAPMF02D 0111 ADDR1_DATA-NAME1" and it is not creating the customer under other sales areas.
Following are the details of the Outbound Idoc which I have processed.
            Idoc Basic type : DEBMAS06
            Message          : DEBMAS
I have filled required fields in E1KNA1M and E1KNVVM segments. But filled E1KNVVM segments  twice with different sales area data.
Please help in solving this problem?

is it really just one IDOC?
I have never seen that SAP just does a part of one IDOC.
the structure of DEBMAS ist like this:
    E1KNA1M
    --E1KNVVM
    E1KNVPM
    E1KNVDM
    E1KNVIM
    --E1KNB1M
which means for your example it should be like this
    E1KNA1M
    --E1KNVVM
    E1KNVPM
    E1KNVDM
    E1KNVIM
    --E1KNVVM
    E1KNVPM
    E1KNVDM
    E1KNVIM
    --E1KNB1M
and in this case I am very certain that it would never just process and create the part for one sales area.
Maybe your customer already exists from ealier tests with just one sales area.
Display your IDOC in WE02 or WE05 and make sure you have a value in name1 field

  • "sold-to party" role "sales area"

    Hi,
I'm working at VAR Solution Manager 7.0 SP17.
When I create a support message from satelllite system or workcenter this support message is created successfully but when I open it at crm_dno_monitor I get two errors:
Pricing data for partner 323 could not be read.
    Enter a Currency
    About detail error:
    Diagnosis
The attempt to read the pricing data for the current, valid business partner from the customer master was unsuccessful.
The access was carried out with sales organization 'O 50000721', distribution channel '' and division ''
If you have maintained a sales area conversion in R/3 that must be loaded per download into the CRM System (tables SMOTVTA and SMOTVKOS), this sales area is converted before the actual access.
    System Response
The document is incorrect until the pricing data can be determined.
    Procedure
The pricing view is probably missing for your business partner in the customer master. Maintain this data. To do this, you can call up transaction BP for maintaining the business partner. In the locator select your business partner and load it by double-clicking. Choose the "sold-to party" role. Press the "sales area" button and choose the sales area given above. Maintain the incorrect data in the billing data screen.
I know the error reason but I don't know how to solve it. About errors:
BP 323 is the sold-to party so if I go to TA bp->323->sold-to party role->button "sales area data" -> Sales area->Sales Organization any value appears. The same to Distribution Channel field
I know that this error is generated by ppoma_crm configuration so at this TA my conf is:

  • Failing to determine sales area in sales order for many BP's(Sold-To Party)

    Hi Experts
In SAP CRM version 4.0, when I enter the Sold-to party (BP) in the sales order transaction, for some it determines the sale area automatically and for most of the BP's it is not determining.
The Determination rule is organizational Model.
The determination rule used is 91000141 (ZORGMAN_RA = Organization based on BP and trans.)
Under Container tab in this determination rule, using simulate Rule resolution button, for some BP, it find the agent with green light when I place a BP in the Container element value field but for many BP's, it shows as No agent found.
Org. data profile used is ZORGPROF_RA (Mandatory are sales Org, Dist. Ch, Sales Off.) and has set the above determination rule.
In the Organizational model, the General attributes are country, currency, dist. Ch & division.
So, Why Org determination is working for some BP and not for all.. I've checked each field in BP transaction comparing those BP where the org detrmination is automatic with those where it is not determining...but not able to find a clue also to trace it.
we are introducting a sales order block in BP (under sales tab) for some specific Sold-To party and in webshop when these Sold-to party are tried to place an order then an error message will show that this "Sold-To party has a  sales area block".
To achieve this, first the org determination should work automatically for all BP's otherwise for those BP which cannot detrmine the sales area in the sales order transaction will allow to place order (which should not be in our case)
Can any one throw some light in this case..please do ask if you need more clarification in my question.
    Thank & Regards
    Pravin Babu

    Hello Maggie
    Thanks for your reply.
I found the cause of the failure, in not determining  the sales area  automatically in sales transaction for some BP's.
It is due to the BP settings, under sales area view, under organization tab, by pressing 'Choose sale area" button, I can see the sales Organization has uncheck for 'sales'  but it is check for all others - shipping, billing, partner, status, Organization.
It is due to -> no data mainatined for the BP under Sales tab, after mainatianing it, I can see the check by pressing the 'choose sale area under organization tab.
Now, in Order transaction, the sale area is determined automatically when I enter the BP.
So this was the reason that some BP's was able to determine the sales area automatically but not for others in the sales transaction.

  • Generate Sales Orders in mass based on Marketing Campaign (CRM 6.0)

    Hi Support,
I want to generate sales orders in mass through marketing campaign
I have done the following customizing :
    - create a new transaction type used for the Template : sales order template ZSOT and assign to it template type "D"
    - assign item categories to this new transaction type ZSOT
    - enter as communication medium for the channel : the sales order ZSOM that I want to be created in mass (based on the Template)
    - copy control between the 2 transactions : ZSOT and ZSOM
    - copy control between the item categories
    - Then I create in the Web Client UI, a sales order template ZSOT with material and quantity
    - Then I create a marketing campaign and choose as communication medium the sales order and assign the sales order template ZSOT previously created
    - I assign a Target Group to the Campaign
    - I release the campaign
    - I start it to execute it
=> I obtain the message : "To generate sales orders products and quantities have to be assigned."
However the Sales Order Template contains a product and a product quantity
Any idea how to solve the issue ? Is there any step missing on my customizing
    Thanks for your help !

    Dear Thomas,
I have the same problem which you have explained in your thread and i have done the same settings that are mentioned by you.
Even i have tried all the possibilities to get rid of this error but i am unable to resolve this problem.
As per your inputs i have inputted the product in a Campaign but there is no option for entering quantity.
The error i am repeatedly getting is "*To generate sales orders products and quantities have to be assigned* upon executing the campaign.
    I appreciate your earliest reply.
    Many many thanks in advance.

  • Sales Area Data of BP unavoidable?

    Hi
i'm workin in a CRM system that has been permanently disconnected from the ERP because of a spind off/management buy out
I wanted to make standard transaction type CMIC (individual contract) in CRM usable, very very basic, without pricing functionality and any extras, just a manual amount of money to be edited in a product position and that's it.
I get the error message that the currency is not there and that the sales area data of the BP is not accessable. I get these messages before providing an item oder material number. Just after providing the sold-to-party and pressing enter. No difference if i work in WebUI or in SAP GUI  CRMD_ORDER
A check shows of the BP in role CRM000 sold-to-prty shows that indeed there is no sales area maintained and no sales area data accessible / all the fields are greyed out
A check in the customizing shows one distribution channel and even a division but i think the data is corrupt, the sales area choosing fields in the BP are white without content, the BPs dont have any sales area data, all fields are greyed out. So there is no way to write any sales area data into the BP, it would be needed for hundreds of BPs anyway so this is not the way.
Now the system insists on the currency in the transaction type CMIC. The currency is copied from the sales area data from the BP. It cannot be provided manually. I will have to find a way to achieve this. I just saw, that it is the same with transaction type TA, so i guess all the sales transactions will have that problem in common
What can i do? I checked the org units in the transaction. They do have an attribute 'Currency' that is filled 'EUR' but the system doesn't care
The weird thing is that opportunities (with the same BPs and the same product) can be created without errors - and there EUR is provided as currency in the item by default...?
    Any ideas
    Thx

If you are a functional consultant
Once the transaction's org determination is done, you can always check the information from the Header Organization tab. This is you know already. If you want to know the Sales Areas a Business Partner (sold-to) is maintained, then go the BP maintenance (Transactio BP ), select the appropriate role - in your case sold-to role of the BP. If you are already not in the Sales Area then click the Sales Area Data button in the toolbar. Then click Choose sales area button in the Sales Area section.Inthe popup, if you click the Maintained Sales Areas, you will see the actual Sales areas the customer has been extended to.
I am sure you know the above facts too. Well,
If you are a technical consultant
The Sales Org details of the transaction can be erad using the function module CRM_ORGMAN_READ-xxx There are more than one FM to read depending upon where you want to read that from - like from the order buffer (good in BAdIs when creating / chaning the order) or fromthe DB. Pick one you want.
To read the Sales area of a sold to BP, the data is available in the table CRMM_BUT_FRG0080 You can get the maintained sales area information for a given BP.  You can also use the function module CRM_BUPA_FRG0080_READ
If this is not what you wanted, then you must rephrase your question for me to understand.

  • Unable to generate Sales Report of Business Partner  by State-XL Reporter

We are not able to generate Sales Report of Business Partner  by State using XL Reporter.
The issue is that we can not access the Bill to State for BPs, or for that matter the Ship-to State.  We can access Bill T street, block, city, country u2013 everything except state.
There is a CRD State, but for sales reports this is useless.  Can someone advise on this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Srini

You can get around this by creating a UDF and formatted search to populate it.
The XL Report can then be created, but, watch out on upgrade - XL Reports with UDF's are not easy on upgrade, especially where the UDF will be a run parameter. I often have to re-write after upgrade, so store a base one without the parameter setting

  • How to Generate sales orders with custom Fields using BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CREATEMULTI

    Hi,
I need to generate sales orders with custom fields on table CRMD_ORDERADM_H using BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CREATEMULTI, after changing the structure BAPI_TE_CRMD_ORDERADM_H, and feed the  EXTENSIONIN table of the BAPI with data, the order is created, but any value on custom fields.
After debuging, I saw that the BAPI search for structure conversion in table CRMC_OBJECTS_GEN, but we haven't entry with BAPI_TE_CRMD_ORDERADM_H in this table. is that the problem ?, Is there any way to fix it?
    Best Regards,
    Salah.

That depends on where do you have the customer fields, check the table CRMD_CUSTOMER_H, if your custom fields are there, you need to use the changing parameter CUSTOMER_HEAD, I guess your already checked that one, right? but there's no custom fields, well...AET/EEWB doesn't enhance the strcuture of the BAPI, so you should do it manually, check the note following note for further details.
988410 - FAQ: User-defined fields in the BAPI
If you don't have access to the SAP Marketplace, in resume you should create an append on the structure BAPIBUS20001_CUSTOMER_H and include the following strcutrue CI_EEW_CUSTOMER_H
