CRpojects Structure GUIDs

hi,
Can anybody help me to get GUIDs of document folder created under each of CPR objects i.e Phase, task, etc. I would like to get GUIDs to assign documents with help of function module.
Pramod

Hi if u want to get guids of the sub objects..
use
BAPI_BUS2172_GET_SUBOBJECTS (for project level)
BAPI_BUS2173_GET_SUBOBJECTS (for phase level)
BAPI_BUS2175_GET_SUBOBJECTS (for task level)
Hope it helps u.......

  • How can a structured frame be used for translating books to foreign languages?

    I keep reading about how a structured approach can improve the translation process (from english to foreign languages), however, i can't seem to find specifics about a particular method or tutorials about how to go about it (specifically). My question is, how (specifically) can structured framemaker be used for translation from english to foreign languages?  Links to tutorials on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    @Ian Proudfood
    A well organized XML based project will definitely save translation costs. There are many advantages to the XML approach to translation management including:
    Almost zero DTP rework costs - make the EDD/Template do all of the work!
    Translation is application version independent - no need to wait for the Translation Memory/CMS system vendor to support the latest version of FrameMaker.
    »... a well organized XML based project will definitively save translation costs.« – I have read sentences like this from a lot of consultants. And I have consulted/supported a lot of customers after those consultants left the stage. I always hear more or less the same from all of those clients. No question, I hear a lot of arguments for working with XML in tech doc, most of the arguments you mention included. Most of the tech writers are happy with the new structured FrameMaker and enjoy writing. And, cross your heart: Finally there's no alternative to XML in the long term if you take your tech writer job seriously. No question – working with pure XML in a professional information architecture in a structured, guiding editing environment like FrameMaker is cool, fun, faster and produces more open, more accessible, more reusable, more reliable, more consistent, in a nutshell: more valuable data.
    But what I have never ever heard, and I'm talking about several hundred companies, is: We save more money on translation now. You might imagine that this is surprising me since many years. This is why I always ask: Did you save any costs in your translation projects? Surprisingly the answer is always: No. Actually some – no, wait: many – tell me, that their translation agency even charges more now, because they have a lot of new costs:
    Costs, to customize their translation memory system to the clients custom xml,
    costs to follow badly or not documented changes in the client's xml structure (DTD/Schema changes) in the TMS,
    costs because of more engineering work like
    valididating xml in advance,
    fixing invalid xml exports,
    fixing invalid translations due to – sometimes massively – increased amount of tag errors because of tagging differences of "old" (legacy mif) and "new" (xml) tags,
    dealing with just too big XML files that need to be carefully split, so that the TMS has a chance to read it, or alternatively:
    "glue" the ten-thousand xml "snippets" to more handy chunks,
    project managers and translators that need to do additional checks, validations, verifyings - and often not knowing what to do with those cryptic error messages, meaning additional support costs
    Of course, many if no all of these and many other problems I did not mention here can be solved. And many are not exactly system immanent problems but communication problems (like introducing or renaming elements/attributes but not documenting this and not communicating this to the translation service provider) or would apply to any system change (e.g. also when switching from Word to Frame). However, I do not know of any single translation company on this planet (and I know virtually thousands of them from countries all over the world) that reduced the price per word for just a single pence, just because the client switched over from Word/Quark/FrameMaker/InDesign/Whatever to XML.
    Just ask your translation service provider: Will you charge me less per word if I send you XML instead of MIF? I would really be surprised to hear a "yes". And frankly, if you have ever compared a professional FrameMaker document with the same document in xml format in a professional system like Trados: There is actually no difference that would justify any price difference. The text is the same, the amount of words identical, the number of tags is identical, it even looks identical in the translation system (I can post screenshots if you like). From the translation perspective there is no single reason why a translator should charge a single pence less.
    So, it's a modern myth, that switching to xml reduces translation costs. That might be true, if you come from a really medieval documentation szenario with MS Word or the like, with manual formatting without any styles and so on (I see tech docs every day where even the TOC is typed in manually!!!) and swith from there to a modern structured xml authoring in combination with other supporting tools like authoring memory / authoring assistance, controlled language, translation memory and terminology managent and control, snippet based content management and so on. That will increase the consistency and quality of your data, which will reduce translation costs in the long term. But the truth is: This has nothing to do with XML per se, but with professional writing and professional management.
    So, what's left in the money saving story? No more DTP in the target languages? I always hear, that with XML and FrameMaker you do not have to "format" the translated document. The truth is: If you have a professionally formatted (unstructured) document, you don't have to take care of it, too. Modern tools like Trados keep 100% of the formatting 100% correct in the translated document. If the underlying template is intelligent enough to take account of text amount changes due to longer translations, and if you don't have too many local formatting overrides, the DTP is actually zero and can be reduced to a few mintes/hours for "flying" of the document to check out for unexpeted problems wich can occure in both structured and unstructured documents.
    Just to give some numbers on this: We are processing every day technical documentations for a quite big company. A typical documentation from them is about 250 pages in unstructured FrameMaker 9 (source language is English). Until now they were resistent to all my XML pushing. The Documentation is based on a straight, simple template (with our help "reduced to the max") and there are no formatting overrides (a script automatically checks this). The post translation Quality Assurance effort is - depending on the target language - usually something between 1 to 4 hours – that's a few seconds per page for the languages where already a lot of past Quality Assurance Steps went back into the Translation Memories and up to a minute per page for more "problematic" languages).
    So, again: XML will not save you a single pence on translations. But it might help you to produce more open, more accessible, more reusable, more reliable, more consistent, in a nutshell: more valuable data. But if you already have properly set up (ustructured) FrameMaker Documents and already work with a professional translation memory system, you will be quite disappointed to learn, that the impressive money saving promises you recently saw on that great PowerPoint slides melt down to a few bucks over a couple of years.
    Kind regards,
    Stefan Gentz

  • Enhance extract structure

    Hi folks ,
            Is there any how to enhance extract structure guide avaialable ? , if so pls give me the short cut.  else If u can share the steps to add a new field from a r3 table to existing extract structure for Plant Maintenance DS it will be great .
             with regards
      siv.

    Hi Sri,
    take a look to this thread:
    /community [original link is broken]
    however, if you are referring to the 2LIS_17_..., you can add fields from the business content in this way:
    LBWE
    click on 'maintenance' for your extractor
    transport from the right side the fields you need to (red light)
    click on '2LIS_17_... to remove or add some flag to the new fields and to generate the datasource (yellow light)
    click on the update control to active the extract structure (green light)...
    if you have to add some fields that are not available from the business content, please follow the previous link and use one of the two procedures described...then you have to fill this field by the specific user exit for BW transactional flow..
    If you want some more info, let me know, but don't forget to assign some points by clickin'on the yellow star for each reply to the contributors that help you !!!
    It's a way to say thanks!!
    Bye,

  • Naming conventions in EP

    Hi all,
    we are currently in the process of preparing for Buisness Package certification in Enterprise Portal.
    While going through the Test Plan provided by SAP describing the guidelines and the naming conventions.
    Is there any thing that should be especially noted when we do the naming of EP folders and other EP components.Any help on these naming conventions is welcome.
    Regards
    Rohit.

    Hi Rohit,
    Please refer to the Vendor Structuring Guide (a.k.a. How to Certify Portal Content document) for more information on the naming conventions. You should have received this together with the test plan.
    If you cannot locate this document, please contact your assigned integration consultant and/or complete and return the project registration document as much as you can so that the consultant can get back to you with any corrections that might be necessary.
    Regards,
    Mustafa.

  • Guide for structure setup for jd edwards enterprise one

    Hi all
    I am trying to do some setup (on test environment) for jd edwards enterpriseone. I have downloaded implementation guides like financial management, general accounting, account payable, account receivable etc.
    I have red that I have to create a date pattern, a company, business unit(one of them should be balance sheet business unit) etc.
    I am looking for some guide which can explain to me clearly which is the setup structure in jd edwards.
    So if I make a parallelism with EBS, in E-Business Suite 11g is stated the the first is the Organization, above we have the GRE Legal Entity (setup of books composed of calendar, currency and chart of accounts) ect until inventory units.
    I want some guide which explain also the logic of jdee1. So why the company need business units, which is the difference of BS units with the other ones etc.
    So basically some guide to explain these thing in detail. I have downloaded several guides like the Complete Reference, Security, different implementation guides etc etc but still not being able to find the information that I need.
    Thank you and best regards

  • A possible guide to organisational structure in Aperture

    My take is that one should first think of an ‘exclusive’ organisational structure, ie, a structure that is unambiguous, that says this picture should be here and not anywhere else, and implement that structure using projects and blue folders. Such a structure could be based on, eg, holiday locations, type of events and the events themselves, or customers.
    Secondly, one should think about how else one wants to access ones images and use albums for that (and group with folders when necessary). This often can be done via topical criteria (eg., people vs landscapes). Using keywords and other metadata in conjunction with search and smart albums falls into the same category. To a certain extent this topical structure can and will be identical with the 'exclusive' one.
    A lot of people choose the date as an unambiguous criteria. That is a somewhat lazy and unimaginative way (but it naturally works). But I think it is worth to make the effort to create a more descriptive structure

    And then there's "The DAM Book", which a lot of photographers adhere to. This book's whole reason for being is to present an organization for storing digital assets.
    However, I suspect a lot of us have developed a "modified" version of that gospel.

  • Guide: Optimizing Your Windows XP/Vista Notebook

    purpose:
    to build a highly optimized, personalized, faster, smaller and more secure OS installation using windows xp (can use vista also but this guide will not cover it in any detail)
    plus i was bored to tears
    information:
    this is a somewhat advanced guide not meant for those unfamilure with the tools and techniques used here
    the basics of this guide can be applied to most/all windows xp/vista notebooks and desktops, not just Lenovo, however in my case i run windows xp pro on a T60 (8743) with an add-on graphics card (similar to a T60p i assume) and this guide will be geared toward this config.
    many alterations can be made, so it is very general in nature and should not be taken literally
    this is my personal machine and i am not on a private network. you may have to adjust as necessary.
    disclaimer:
    it ain't my fault
    what will you gain:
    * a highly customized OS
    * faster boot times
    * more free disk space
    * a lighter, snappier feeling OS
    * a more secure OS
    * a more stable OS
    * more free RAM
    * less problems (or maybe more if you're not careful)
    with all due respect to Lenovo, i have found that the less Lenovo software i install the fewer glitches i have and the faster things run. this is often the case for various other hardware vendors that supply proprietary software which is often not needed, or not all of which is needed.
    what you will need: (all free, except for possibly the OS):
    * a windows xp/vista installation disk. though you may be able to do this using your i386 directory (perhaps on the recovery partition), a full, non-OEM disk is preferred.
    * SP2 and SP3 (it is my understanding that either SP1 or SP2 should be installed before installing SP3, though i have built installations with SP3 only).
    * dotNet runtime
    * nLite (or vLite for vista) - http://www.nliteos.com/
    * Ryan's Windows XP Post-SP3 Update Pack - http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/
    * Ryan's integration tool - http://integrator.siginetsoftware.com/index.php?download
    * all current drivers for your hardware
    please read any license agreements for the above (for instance, nLite is not to be used for commercial applications)
    also visit the nLite and RyanVM forums as there's a ton of helpful info there, add-on packs, etc., and please consider donating to them both if you like the software. both are great guys. i wouldn't bother running windows anymore without nLite. from Nuhi's page (his english is not the best):
    Have you ever wanted to remove Windows components like Media Player, Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, MSN Explorer, Messenger...
    How about not even to install them with Windows ?
    nLite is a tool for pre-installation Windows configuration and component removal at your choice. Optional bootable image ready for burning on media or testing in virtual machines.
    With nLite you will be able to have Windows installation which on install does not include, or even contain on media, the unwanted components.
    Features
    * Service Pack Integration
    * Component Removal
    * Unattended Setup
    * Driver Integration *
    * Hotfixes Integration **
    * Tweaks
    * Services Configuration
    * Patches ***
    * Bootable ISO creation
    basic build procedure:
    * install the dotNet runtime
    * install nLite (or vLite for vista)
    * create a directory structure something like:
    c:\nlite\source\
    c:\nlite\working\
    c:\nlite\sp\
    c:\nlite\hotfix\
    * download Ryan's post SP3 update pack and dump it in c:\nlite\hotfix\
    * download Ryan's integration tool and dump in c:\nlite\hotfix\
    note that you can use nLite to integrate service packs and hotfix's, but i prefer Ryan's tool as i have had problems in the past using nLite to integrate Ryan's post SP update cabs, though this happened during the earlier beta days of nLite.
    * download xp SP2 and SP3 service packs and dump in c:\nlite\sp\
    * copy contents of windows installation disk to c:\nlite\source\
    * using Ryan's integrator, set update pack path to c:\nlite\sp\WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe, windows source to c:\nlite\source\, and destination to c:\nlite\working\ and start integration
    * using Ryan's integrator, set update pack path to c:\nlite\sp\WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ENU.exe set windows source to c:\nlite\working\ and destination to c:\nlite\working\ and integrate SP3. after SP3 is integrated, if you want to save the windows installation for the next time you install, copy it elsewhere before moving on.
    *  using Ryan's integrator set source to c:\nlite\hotfix\ (where you dumped Ryan's post SP3 update cab) and destination to c:\nlite\working\ and run it.
    * start nLite and set the windows installation path to c:\nlite\working\
    make sure that, in the "version" box, that SP3 is written, otherwise you've made an error earlier.
    IMPORTANT: when using nLite be very careful and move slowly, making sure to READ ALL DESCRIPTIONS and explore all options -- it's easy to skip or screw up something if you're not very careful.
    rule of thumb: don't remove something if you don't know what it is or what the implications might be
    * following the wizard, select your options. i would suggest the following:
    remove components
    unattended
    options
    patches
    tweaks
    build ISO
    in the case of my thinkpad my hard drive will not be recognized by windows unless i integrate the driver for the SATA controller using nLite OR enter BIOS setup and put the controller in compatibility mode so i can install the driver from windows (after which BIOS needs to be changed again).  integrating drivers will require extra reading on your part and is beyond what i wish to get into here, so, to make things easy if you're not comfortable doing this, just put your controller in compatibility mode if necessary and install the driver from within windows.
    * following the wizard and hitting "next" as necessary, if you've selected the options above, nLite will pop-up a compatibility options window where you want to select what components you really need (prevents you from removing dependancies later).
    * in the next step you'll remove unwanted components - the part i enjoy most.  be careful what you remove! stuff in red is important. this is what i typically remove, give or take:
    Accessibility Options
    Briefcase
    ClipBook Viewer
    Defragmenter (replaced with JKDefragGUI)
    Games
    Internet Games
    Paint
    Pinball
    Screensavers (useful only for very old CRT monitors)
    WordPad (replaced with PSPad)
    Keyboards (i remove all - nLite will keep default for your language)
    ActiveX for streaming video (depends on IE which i remove parts of)
    AOL ART Image Format Support (depends on IE which i remove parts of)
    Images and Backgrounds (desktop eye candy)
    Luna desktop theme (cartoonish desktop theme)
    Media Center
    Mouse Cursors
    Movie Maker
    Music Samples
    Old CDPlayer and Sound Recorder (replaced in part by foobar2000)
    Speech Support
    Tablet PC
    Windows Media Player (replaced by foobar2000, VLC and Satsuki codec pack)
    Windows Media Player 6.4 (replaced by foobar2000, VLC and Satsuki codec pack)
    Windows Picture and Fax Viewer (replaced by XnView)
    Windows Sounds (unneeded sound themes)
    Communication tools (phone dialer, hyperterminal, etc., some replaed by better 3rd part s/w)
    FrontPage Extensions
    Internet Connection Wizard (not needed to create a connection)
    Internet Explorer (i keep the core (there's 2 options for removing this; one to remove parts but keep basic functionality and another to remove the core, which i suggest keeping) as it's functionality is needed by many applications - removing this will remove the "Program Files\Internet Explorer" directory, but you can still browse the web using windows explorer (file manager) if need be. i replace with Firefox)
    Internet Information Services (IIS) (i use Apache (WAMP) for web development)
    IP Conferencing
    MSN Explorer (partially replaced with Miranda IM)
    Netmeeting
    Outlook Express (replaced with Thunderbird)
    Peer-to-Peer (only for MS networks, nothing to do with P2P)
    Share Creation Wizard
    Synchronization Manager
    Vector Graphics Rendering (VML) (depends on IE i think, which i remove parts of)
    Web Folders
    Windows Messenger (replaced with Miranda IM
    .NET Framework (i don't install this at all)
    Blaster/Nachi removal tool
    Color Schemes (predefined desktop color schemes)
    Desktop Cleanup Wizard (replaced with CCleaner)
    Disk Cleanup (replaced with CCleaner)
    File and Settings Wizard (used to transfer settings between 2 computers)
    File System Encryption (try TrueCrypt or AxCrypt - note that MS encryption is propritary and, as such, should not be trusted)
    Help and Support (huge space hog)
    IExpress Wizard
    Manual Install and Upgrade (ability to upgrade OS, which is always a bad idea (better to install clean))
    MS Agent (used for annoying animated paperclip in MS office)
    Out of Box Experience (OOBE) (do NOT remove unless you have a VLK)
    Remote Installation Services (RIS)
    Search Assistant (annoying animated dog in search window)
    Security Center (replaced with Comodo firewall)
    Service Pack Messages
    Shell Media Handler
    Tour (useless windows tour)
    User account pictures
    Web View
    Zip Folders (replaced with IZArc and Universal Extractor)
    Automatic Updates (hardly needed once attack vectors are removed)
    Beep Driver (annoying beep, such as when you press too many keys at once)
    Error Reporting (automitic error reporting to MS - i suppose vista is the result?)
    IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service (replaced with ImgBurn)
    Remote Registry
    Secondary Logon
    System Restore Service (bloated nonsense used for restoring viruses to their orgional state - better to reinstall)
    Languages (i remove all - nLite will keep your default language)
    as should be apparent from the above, security is already enhanced since many attack vectors were removed (OE, WMP, MSN, remote registry, system restore, etc., etc., etc.).
    missing functionality is replaced by better, more functinal and more secure software
    * for the "unattended setup" step, you can select many options, change default paths (Program Files), disable hibernate, configure network adapters and much more.
    * next is "options" where you are presented with many more choices.
    * next is "patches". here i would highly suggest turning off SFC (windows file protection) as this is an incredible annoyance for many people and will greatly increase the time required for your installation.  furthermore, malicious folks and vendors that write drivers know how to get around this nonsense anyway.
    * next is "tweaks" and then you'll finish up by building your installation. i typically cut the size of a default windows xp install by about 50%, but i'm a bit agressive with what i remove.  also some of that space is used by 3rd party software to replace the components removed.
    * if you are comfortable with virtual machine software, that'd be the way to test your shiny new installation ISO. if not, then get ready to take the plunge
    when installed an nLite OS on my thinkpad for the first time (a day or 2 after i got it), i did a test install first - i kept the recovery partition in tact. once i got comfortable with installing the drivers and got everything working, i un-hid and formatted the recovery partition -- gone! you may want to do the same, though speaking from expierence i can tell you that it's rather trivial to get everything working on my T60 (though i do not have nor did i want a fingerprint reader, i would doubt it would be an issue to get working).
    * once windows is up and running, there will be allot of broken stuff
    some of the "Fn" keys will not work, some will (because the hardware is configured in BIOS). you'll need to install the drivers for the items that you want to work, and this is another area where i depart from the norm. here's some things i don't install and the reasons why (whenever possible, any hardware below is disabled in BIOS or device manager):
    * easy eject utility - not needed/i don't use it anyway
    * hotkey driver - bloated and sometimes buggy software that may corrupt OGL and DX full-screen display (games) and cause stop errors (BSOD)
    * trackpoint - i don't use it, though it works anyway with limited functionality if not disabled in BIOS/device manager
    * trusted platform module - yeah, well i don't trust it
    * away manager -  don't use it/lighter weight alternitives available
    * keyboard customizer - not needed/i don't use it
    * scroll lock indicator - not needed/i don't use it
    * software installer - bloated mess/not needed (subscribe to the Lenovo RSS feed to be made aware of updates)
    * thinkpad configuration package - i'll configure it myself, thanks
    * thinkvantage access connectkions - bloated mess/slows boot time/not needed (better and lighter weight alternitives * available if you need this functionality)
    * ultra-nav wizard - not needed
    * bluetooth - i install the microsoft bluetooth stack (which is smaller and simpler) and have noticably less lag with bluetooth devices resuming from a standby state (mouse in particular)
    * display drivers - i use the highly acclaimed and optimized Omega drivers.
    for the drivers i do install, i install only the drivers, NOT the software (in other words i do not run the installer). i do this by extracting the installer using IZArc or Universal Extractor and using device manager to point the hardware to the extracted *.inf files.  for me, there is only one device that comes up "unknown device" before drivers are installed (i forget which).  the rest are named, so it's easy to tell what path to give them for the drivers. installing drivers for the unknown device is then simple a process of elimination, or you can use software to help identify the device.
    ::: the end :::
    hack it 'till it BREAKS!

    *bookmarked for desection*
    I already see flaws, like turning off remote registry for example. Remote registry only has very limited access, and you can change the access, but why would you? You can see what it has access to by going into Control Panel > Administative Tools > Local Security Policy > > Local Polices > Security Options, then scroll a little more than half-way, and it's under the Network access box.
    There are so many crack pot guides out there, that the only good advice is to look where they looked, and if you don't get it, and don't go though all of it, LEAVE IT ALONE! It only makes servicing the box at a later time a HUGE pain, and if it's in a business, it'll just be reimaged.
    Keep this guy's disclaimer in mind at all times. Just do the easy ones to start, like run CCleaner, it basically does everything for you, and doesn't cause any errors (or as far as I know, and I use it just about every other day)
    Currently Just passed the CompTIA A+ 601 with flying colours! =D

    Dear Luke,
    I am not able to see that navigation icons within an org chart box - The org unit that is displayed on clicking the orgchart does have branches in SAP but i am not able to see these navigation icons that lead me to these branches.

  • IPC in CRM 7.0: New customer field in item communication structure

    Hi Experts,
    I tried to enhance the IPC according to the known manual.
    I created a new item related z-field in the item communication structure which I fill in the BadI IF_EX_CRM_COND_COM_BADI with a Char(1) value:
        IF cs_acs_i_com-zfield IS INITIAL.
          LOOP AT ls_prc_agrmnts_wrk-price_agreements_crm ASSIGNING <price>.
            CASE <price>-kschl.
              WHEN 'ZFRE'.
                cs_acs_i_com-zfield = 'B'.
    I also did the customizing for that new formula which is a requirement. There I added two attributes to the implementation:
    -ITEM_GUID     Item GUID
    -ZFIELD     Z-Field
    and also two attributes to the formula:
    -ITEM_GUID     CRM_ITEM_GUID
    -ZFIELD     ZFIELD
    I use this requirement in my pricing procedure and uploaded the jar file. My java code looks as follows:
    import com.sap.spe.condmgnt.finding.userexit.RequirementAdapter;
    import com.sap.spe.condmgnt.customizing.IAccess;
    import com.sap.spe.condmgnt.customizing.IStep;
    import com.sap.spe.condmgnt.finding.userexit.IConditionFindingManagerUserExit;
    import com.sap.spe.base.logging.UserexitLogger;
    public class ZFreiStBLP extends RequirementAdapter {
         private static UserexitLogger userexitlogger =
              new UserexitLogger(ZFreiStBLP.class);
         public boolean checkRequirement(IConditionFindingManagerUserExit item,
                   IStep step, IAccess access) {
              String item_guid = item.getAttributeValue("ITEM_GUID");
              userexitlogger.writeLogDebug("Item: "
                        + item_guid);
                   String zfield = item.getAttributeValue("ZFIELD");
                   userexitlogger.writeLogDebug("ZFIELD: "
                             + zfield );
                   if (pauschale != "B"){
                        return pauschale.equals("");
                        }else
                        {     return pauschale.equals("X");
    In SM53 i can see the logs, but the problem is that obviously only the standard field ITEM_GUID is available in the Java. Means, that for my z-field I never get a value although the BadI is called an the value is written to the communication structure.
    Does anybody has an idea, why I do not get the value of that zfield in my java code?
    Thanks a lot!
    Regards,
    Mireille

    Hello Vinod,
    I have customised complete pricing procedure but in the Quotation order we are not getting NET VALUE.
    When i come accrossed with BBP_CHECK_CND_CUST In my findings i found parameter IPC_ON is missing.
    I am waiting for the reply from BASIS.
    Is there any functional customisation required for IPC let me know.

  • Custom KM UI Command -- ClassNotFoundException. How to structure project?

    Hi,
    I'm tired of trying around, so I'm coming here, in hopes that someone can help me (I'm sure there is) :). I'm trying to create two commands (Archive and Push to topnews). The first command will put a resource to a predefined location, whils the second will take an existing document from one folder and replace it with the currently selected resource. The code for doing this is ok, but I cannot display the commands on the context menu!
    I've created a separate layout set with a custom ResourceRenderer with a custom resource command group where my commands are defined in addition to several other, standard ones. The commands have been defined as:
    <package>.<classname> for both "Java class" and "Bundle file" attributes of the UICommand in addition to the properties file with my label and tooltip.
    I'm getting a ClassDefNotFound error no matter what I do. Even if I put it in the src.api or src.core folder I get this error in the trace. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to structure the PAR file as I think I maybe missing something here...
    In advance, thanks
    Hans Petter

    Hi Hans,
       In order to isolate this problem, you can use this example: "Implementing Flexible UI One-Step-Screenflow".
    from:
    Guide to examples:

    You can download this project, deploy and test this command. I have created commands using this example.

    Modules for LIS : SD,MM, PP,QM.
    Deltas for LIS:
    After setting up the LIS environment, 2 transparent tables and 1 extract structure is generated for this particular info structure. Within transaction SE11 you can view the tables u2018SnnnBIW1u2019, u2018SnnnBIW2u2019 and the structure u2018SnnnBIWSu2019 and the InfoStructure itself u201ASnnnu2018
    The tables S5nnnBIW1 & SnnnnBIW2 are used to assist the delta update process within BW.
    Extract structure u2018SnnnnBIWCu2019 is used as an interface structure between OLTP InfoStructure and BW
    The OLTP system has automatically created an entry in the control table u2018TMCBIWu2019. Within transaction u2018SE16u2019 youu2019ll see, that for your particular InfoStructure the field u2018BIW activeu2019 has the value u2018Xu2019 and the field u2018BIW statusu2019 is filled with value u20181u2019 (refers to table SnnnBIW1).

  • How to change the default structure when exporting data in CSV format?

    Hello,
    can some one tell us how to change the default structure in CRM when exporting lists in CSV format (with Option "Always use unformatted list format (CSV) for download" ? Because we want to add a new structure for our own -is it possible ?
    If it is possible where can we find these structure ? In the blueprint customizing ?
    Thank you very much,
    Christian

    There is a workaround to move from 1.5 version to the older 1.4 version. But this could be specific to the browser setting the JRE version.
    Excerpts from sun docs:
    However, a user can still run older versions. To do so, launch the Java Plug-in Control Panel for the older version, then (re)select the browser in the Browser tab.
    Example:
    Assume you are running on Microsoft Windows with Microsoft Internet Explorer, have first installed version 1.4.2, then version 5.0, and you want to run 1.4.2.
    Go to the j2re1.4.2\bin directory where JRE 1.4.2 was installed. On a Windows default installation, this would be here: C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2\bin
    Double-click the jpicpl32.exe file located there. It will launch the control panel for 1.4.2.
    Select the Browser tab. Microsoft Internet Explorer might still appear to be set (checked). However, when 5.0 was installed, the registration of the 1.4.2 JRE with Internet Explorer was overwritten by the 5.0 JRE.
    If Microsoft Internet Explorer is shown as checked, uncheck it and click Apply. You will see a confirmation dialog stating that browser settings have changed.
    Check Microsoft Internet Explorer and click Apply. You should see a confirmation dialog.
    Restart the browser. It should now use the 1.4.2 JRE for conventional APPLET tags.
    Details are here
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/guide/deployment/deployment-guide/jcp.html
    My system (Windows XP) has the version 1.5_09 set as the default. However i just installed JRE 1.5_06 and would like to revert back to _06 as the default JRE..
    Will update if i find more information

  • Adding new key figure in Info structure

    Hi all,
    I am in a need to add a new key figure to our info structure here in my company.
    The way I understand it is, it would be best to create a NEW info structure and copy all existing key figure and characteristic and then insert my new key figure into this and rewrite the macro if required.
    So my question is
    1. How to determine which info structure is currently in use in my company? If i check in MC89 - the key figures match what is in Info structure S076. So is it safe to assume that we are using standard S&OP in my company? Is that a correct way to identify the currently used info structure?
    2. For our KMAT, when i open a planned order I see that there in another info structure (not S076) under configuration tab. So can we have diff info structure in use at a same time ?
    Please guide.
    Thanks,

    Hi Nisha,
    1. First of all, How would I determine which info structure is being used at this time in my company?
    I need to know this so that when I am creating my own custom (S500 - S999) info structure, i can copy the existing KFs and Characteristics and add them to my info structure and then Add a specific key figure on top of that.
    Info structures are nothing but tables so in se16 you can check which are Info structures are having update values.
    Yes you can add the specific key figure on existing self defined info structure in MC22 after that you need to generate it.
    2. Can multiple info structure be in 'use' at the same time in any scenario?
    For self defined info structure are application specific you can not have multiple info structure for same scenario. If you take the example of flexible planning with self defined info structure then you can transfer the demand from only one info structure.

  • Passing a structure from Java to PL/SQL Procedure

    Environment: Oracle DB, Tomcat/Apache
    How do we pass a structure (Table Record Type) from Java to a PL/SQL Stored Procedure?
    We are doing JSP-->JavaClass/Bean to communicate to DB. We have an existing PL/SQL packages/Procedure to insert records into table (These procedures have record types as in/out parameters). So is there a way to call these from Java?
    Thanks in advance.
    Ramesh

    Oracle9 i JDBC Developers Guide and Reference(page 21-16):
    It is not feasible for Oracle JDBC drivers to support calling arguments or return
    values of the PL/SQL RECORD, BOOLEAN, or table with non-scalar element types.
    However, Oracle JDBC drivers support PL/SQL index-by table of scalar element
    types. For a complete description of this, see "Accessing PL/SQL Index-by Tables"
    on page 16-21.
    As a workaround to PL/SQL RECORD, BOOLEAN, or non-scalar table types, create
    wrapper procedures that handle the data as types supported by JDBC. For example,
    to wrap a stored procedure that uses PL/SQL booleans, create a stored procedure
    that takes a character or number from JDBC and passes it to the original procedure
    as BOOLEAN or, for an output parameter, accepts a BOOLEAN argument from the
    original procedure and passes it as a CHAR or NUMBER to JDBC. Similarly, to wrap a
    stored procedure that uses PL/SQL records, create a stored procedure that handles
    a record in its individual components (such as CHAR and NUMBER) or in a structured
    object type. To wrap a stored procedure that uses PL/SQL tables, break the data
    into components or perhaps use Oracle collection types.
