CS5 library HTML instances not getting updated (and font options are limited)

Having the following problems using FW CS5/Mac:
1. Heading1 instances (created from Common Library -> HTML) are not reflecting updates to library item in Document Library.
To replicate: Drag a Heading1 element from the common library to document. Create a few more instances of it in the document, using the one in your Document Library. Now edit the library version. The instances on the page stay the same, they don't reflect updates.
2. Symbol Properties for HTML elements has very limited options for Font. 'Heading1' has only Arial or Arial Black. 'Link' has those, plus Comic Sans (and Arial is listed twice). There is nowhere else to customize symbols.
3. Also, my Layers panel randomly disappears, even though Window->Layers is still checked. I have to restart to get it back. Cursor also sometimes disappears and requires restart. Seems to happen whenever I add a Link (from Common Library).
Are there workarounds for these? If they are documented bugs, is there a patch?

You can try editing the JSF file for the symbol - that's what controls the symbol properties. I'm not a coder, but I found that putting your preferred font at the beginning of the font list in the JSF list will solve the problem.
For example, I first saved a copy of the original script, then moved the Times Roman family to the beginning of the list and saved this version as the original script name. These scripts are found in the Fireworks application folder, inside Configuration > Common Library > HTML.
I restarted FW and when I dragged the H1 instance onto the canvas, it displayed Times immeditately.
Unfortunately, it deleted that family from the combo list, simply renaming it Arial - Helvetica - san-serif and placing it at the top of the list. So now I have 3 Arials - lol. The first one indicates the current font chosen (or it's supposed to) and the other two list my true Arial font family and the Times font family (renamed as Arial) Haven't figure out how to fix that yet.
This change doesn't affect the preview image either, but there must be a way to alter it by editing the true symbol.

Not getting updates and horrible customer service

I ordered service on 3/26 for 3-bureau monitoring service and received my report and scores. Since then, I've had 2 major things happen to my credit reports. A 90% UTI credit card (nearly 4k) was paid off, and posted to all 3 of my credit reports as $0 balance, and a collection has fallen off of my Transunion report. I have confirmed on all of reports that the events took place through fresh credit pulls from other means. I call up today to find out why my I'm not being alerted to the changes and the customer service agent said that she doesn't know when alerts are suppose to happen. She then said I don't get them right away and I have to wait a few days for them to pop up, and I have to wait until the credit bureaus send the information to myFico before I'm alerted and it could take days. This doesn't make sense, the point of alerts is to notify me immediately when a change occurs so that I can take corrective action if something's wrong with my report and to keep up with my scores. This is the way it worked when I paid for SW a couple years ago. I purchased this so as I apply for some loans with HPs and pay off my bills I can keep track of my score and be notified when the HPs happen and keep an eye out for identity theft. Obviously according the customer service agent, this is not how the system works, so I'm lost at why I would pay $25/mo for the service. Additionally, the customer service agent was rude and unprofessional, has no clue how the system works, and is a detriment to your company. I cancelled my account, and she made it well known that she was perfectly fine with that. Apparently, you guys don't want my business.

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.
Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions.
To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe".
Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

HTML file not getting updated

Hi All,
I have defined an html file under mimes->components as the source for an IFrame. The application worked fine for the first time, but any changes made in the html file were not reflected in the application. Finally I deleted the html file, rebuild the project, deployed application again, but still it runs with the first result. Can someone please help me on this?

sound like a caching problem.
On client side, for sure you know how to empty the cache on IE?!
On server side, VisualAdmin - Server - Services - HTTP Provider - Clear Cache (on Dev systems, I would generally suggest to switch off server side caching).

there is option to add new template but option to delete and Update are disable. (Localized Templates Region)
How to enable them. (Is there any setup required for this?)

Hi,
Since 'Standard Purchase Order Stylesheet' is a standard Template, you will not abe able to delete or update it.
If you need to customize it, You need to copy it to another template and upload your custom style sheet.
Then you need to attach this custom template to standard PO using the following navigation:
a) Purchasing SuperUser -> Setup -> Pruchasing -> Document Types ->(It will open a new OAF window)
b) Click 'Update' Icon on 'Purchase Order Standard''
c) Change 'Document Type Layout' and select your Custom template.

Hi CRM Gurus,
Need some help on Web User Management functionality.
Sub: Contact person Relationship data not getting updated when we change the company (to wich contact person belong to) in ISA CRM 5.0 Web User Management.
we are currently on CRM ISA 5.0 and using Web User Managment for our B2B scenario. New creation of users is working fine. But when we want to change the company (Sold to pary) for the existing contact person, the relationship data in CRM is not getting updated and the below are the details.
Contact person No: XXXX (has a Relationship: "Is contac person for YYYY company in CRM)
Company/Sold to Party: YYYY (has a relationship "Has contact person XXXX in CRM).
When I chage the contact person's (XXXX) company from YYYY to ZZZZ,
- Relationships of the new assignment for ZZZZ in CRM not getting updated.
- Old Records in YYYY is not getting deleted (i.e. relationships.
- There is No relationship data appear in XXXX.
Appreciate any inputs on the same.

I'd suggest you running a session trace / ABAP debugging to see if some information is not getting passed from the Java stack onto the ABAP stack. An alternate move would be to create a new OSS customer message.

Fields not getting updated in FBL3N and FBL5N

Hi
I have introduced new fields like material number, quantity sales document number, etc in through FBL3N --> Settings --> List special fields.
Also i added one more field in 'sort key' as sales document number. I updated sort key in customer master and GL master (i.e. reconcliation account of customer A/c)
But inspite of doing this, i can see those fields after change layout. But these fields are still empty. I do not know why its empty.
When i changed sort key to sales document number, sales delivery number is coming instead of sales document number in assignment field.
Please help

Even though there are various fields available in FBL5N or FBL3N, all the fields are not updated for all the transactions. Based on transaction to transaction, fields get updated and mostly these are SAP standards. If you want certain fields, you need to develop Z reports accordingly.
For example when GR is posted, system does not update PO number in Purchase order field. But alternatively it is updated in REFKEY1 field. Similarly when billing is done, it does not update material code in FI tables so it does not appear in FBL5N.
Regarding Sort key, check with your SD consultant, what copy control it is used. In finance, assignment field is updated based on copy control used in SD.

SystemWideClassABPWP in RZ20 not getting updated

Hi All,
We need some help from you.
We have shortlisted the monitoring contexts in RZ20 around which we would like to configure our alerts in the system.
But just one concern, here in the monitoring tree under the monitoring tree Background, we have shortlisted SystemWideClassABPWP which tell the System Wide Class A Background Work Process across the instances.
But, we noticed that the value for this particular parameter is not getting updated (value 5 in the below screenshot).
The SystemWideClassABPWP and SystemWideTotalBPWP show inactive. This also seems to be non-modifiable (as per the legend in rz20)
Any clue as to how to activate them and update them with the latest value.

Thanks a lot for your reply. But we find that these parameters are not getting updated and so we do not see the log like Green 06.03.2008 , 20:03:31 besides them (for other )
One more thing is we have 2 application servers (1 central instance & other application instance) with each having 5 work process for A priority jobs and 20 work processes for other jobs. So these parameters should show the values as
SystemWideClassABPWP - 10
SystemWideTotalBPWP - 40
But this is not the case. Also, when the operation mode changes these values are not getting updated.
Request your kind help in this regard.

Information in the case folder is not getting updated in Oracle Credit Mgt

I have created an SO and an Invoice for this SO for a particular customer. Now, when I create a credit application and a case folder in OCM for this customer, Fields like Receivables Balance, Credit Exposure, Days Sales Outstanding etc. in the case folder are not getting updated. These fields are not getting updated even after refreshing the case folder. It means that the information from the 'Receivables Responsibility is not getting updated in the case folder.
I have already run the 'Initialize credit Summaries' concurrent program after creating the Sales Order and Invoice.
PS: The case folder gets updated only when I set the Profile Option: "AR: Allow summary table refresh" to Yes and then running the "Refresh AR Transactions Summary Tables" concurrent program. But once this program runs the Profile Option again becomes 'No' (Which is a Standard functionality).
So this is a manual way to update the case folder. My requirement is that the case folder should get updated automatically and no manual intervention should be required.

Table not getting updated

Hi
I'm having a problem with updating an item which is not a database item.
I have about 8 fields , Items 1-7 belong to table A and item 8 belongs to table B
I have block level triggers like post-insert, pre-update and pre-delete to take care of the insert, update and delete which are all working fine.
Except when I update Item 8 ONLY , table B does not get updated and I get the message frm-40401 - No Changes To Save
I'm not able to figure out what else is needed. Pls help.

There may be a better answer, but try setting the Lock Record property to Yes on the non-base-table item.
If that doesn't work, in the item's when-validate-item trigger, set one of the first seven items values to itself:
:Blk.Itm1 := :Blk.Itm1;
This will cause the record status to be CHANGED, so the record update will take place.

Download list not getting updated

Whenever I download anything, it gets downloaded with bar properly showing up, but after the download it just gets wiped off from the list. The download list do not gets updated and the last entry is stuck on May 21st.
There are other problems as well. I do not get any suggestions while filling forms. Firefox do not suggests me passwords anymore, though I can see passwords through preferences -> security -> show passwords.

You need to add the development system in the Development system tab, the test system under the Quality Assurance and the production system under the Production system of your logical component which is currently being used by your maintenance cycle and once again generate the CTS project and accordingly adjust the tasklist manually.

File does not get updated in document library

I'm encountering weird behavior which I hope you can suggest on how to further troubleshoot. There are some document libraries that whenever I upload a new version of a file, the file's contents do not get updated (when I open the file after check-in,
it still shows the old content) but the Modified By and Modified fields get updated.
Remote Blob Storage is turned on for our site; could it be RBS-related? However, only a few document libraries exhibit this kind of behavior.

There's no particular pattern in the differences between libraries exhibiting the behavior and those that do not. If it matters, the Style Library is experiencing this kind of behavior. We also have a document library renamed to "Images" (its URL
is /Images) that also exhibits this behavior. I also tried disabling and enabling versioning, still the same behavior. I even tried deleting the file and reuploading with the same file name, still the same behavior!

You should get your keyboard checked as it's repeating on a lot of keys and makes you look silly.
There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

First, you do not have a 3G if you could upgrade it to 6.1.3, because 4.2.1 is the last version that will work on the 3G. So you either have a 3GS or you somehow hacked the phone to install an incompatible version. You can check the model you have by entering your serial number here: https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do
Assuming you have a 3GS the most likely reason for your problem is you have a gray market phone that was hacked or jailbroken to unlock it. When you upgraded it you removed the hack, so the phone is now locked to its original carrier.

You didn't buy an 'unlocked' iPhone 3GS - you bought a 'hacked' one.
Updating to iOS 5 removed the hack and the unofficial unlock.
All you can do is try to find out which network the phone is locked to and ask them if they can unlock it properly.
Otherwise, sell it or throw it away and buy an officially unlocked phone from an official source.

VTP (revision numbers) and one client not getting updates

Hello.
Somewhere along the line one of our switches (3750x) got messed up. Once they were finally configured about 6 months ago we never touched them again.
I noticed yesterday when I created a new vlan it was not getting populated to one of our switches. For some reason I did not notice that the domain name on the switch not receiving updates was not our domain.
So I switched the domain on this switch to the correct domain and it still does not show any updates and also has a revision # of 7.
So on this switch I then unplugged all trunk ports and did "vtp mode transparent". I then switched it back to "vtp mode client vlan".
It still showed revision 7.
So I tried "vtp domain bogus" and "vtp mode transparent" and then did "vtp domain mydomain" and "vtp mode client vlan".
It still showed revision 7.

I am at a loss as to how to fix this problem other than rebuilding the switch. I have a vtp server at revision 10 and two other switches also at revision 10 that are getting updates from the vtp server. Only one switch is not. Please note that this one switch that is not working at some point did since it has all the vlans we created on our initial installation.
