CSM issue when using bridge mode

I have 2 CSM installed on 2 6509 each,and configured as bridge mode.One is acting active,another is standby.I know that client and server vlan have to use same IP,but I'm confused that the IP on standby CSM,does it need to differ from active CSM vlan IP or not?

yes the ip adresses of the vlans on both CSM have to be different as you would have dupplicate IP-Adresses in any other case (not talking of the same IP-Adress in vlan1 and vlan2 configured in bridged mode). You should use the alias command to make the gateway redundant (only if this is needed in your scenario). In regards of the VIP-Adresses they have to be the same for failover purpose. I guess you know that you need the failover vlan too.

I'm having some difficulty with text alignment/border issues when using a custom TableCellRenderer. I'm using a JPanel with GroupLayout (although I've also tried others like FlowLayout), and I can't seem to get label text within the JPanel to align properly with the other cells in the table. The text inside my 'panel' cell is shifted downward. If I use the code from the DefaultTableCellRenderer to set the border when the cell receives focus, the problem gets worse as the text shifts when the new border is applied to the panel upon cell selection. 1) When first run, the text in the custom renderer column is shifted downward slightly.
2) Once a cell in the column is selected, it shifts down even farther.

1) LayoutManagers need to take the border into account so the label is placed at (1,1) while labels just start at (0,0) of the cell rect. Also the layout manager tend not to shrink component below their minimum size. Setting the labels minimum size to (0,0) seems to get the same effect in your example. Doing the same for maximum size helps if you set the row height for the JTable larger. Easier might be to use BorderLayout which ignores min/max for center (and min/max height for west/east, etc).
2) DefaultTableCellRenderer uses a 1px border if the UI no focus border is null, you don't.
3) Include a setDefaultCloseOperation is a SSCCE please. I think I've got a hunderd test programs running now :P.

Both USER_1 and USER_2 have an UDT (actually a nested table):

Bluetooth issues when using smartwatch on the z1s

I'm having some Bluetooth issues when using my smartwatch. I usually use my z1s with my car radio via Bluetooth to listen to music and for making calls. Now that I got a sony smartwatch I always got problems with the calls. It looks like that the Bluetooth turns off during the call when I'm using the smartwatch. I already tried by deleting and pairing again the z1s, but nothing works. Not sure if maybe the z1s does not support the smartwatch and the care radio Bluetooth connection at the same time. However it works fine when playing music! The problem is just with the calls. This never happens before I got the smartwatch.

I have the Tmobile Z1s and a SW2 and have the same issues with multiple devices:
1) Bose Soundlink Mini
2) Sony MBR-100
3) My car's bluetooth
4) Ford Sync
5) Sony SBH20
6) Motorola S305
If the phone connects to the A2DB device, it will typically play fine for several minutes. Then, audio will drop out. If I do nothing, after several minutes my watch will vibrate to show it has disconnected. Sometimes audio then comes back, and sometimes it doesn't.
Sometimes my phone will not connect to my car. Then, if I can get it to connect, it will only allow for phone audio, not media audio.
This issue has been on (2) Z1s's with the SW2. The first I returned due to touch screen issues, which the second one also has. All of the devices above worked perfectly fine with my Xperia Z, Galaxy S2, HTC One, etc. The Xperia Z and the SW2 never had any problems.
Honestly, this phone has been incredibly frustrating. If the upcoming updates for either the SW2 or Z1S don't fix this issue, I'm going to return it and get something else.

When do I use bridge mode

Using SNL Server with Airport extreme and static IP. If I am to setup my own DNS do I need to swich to bridge mode?

Bridge Mode turns off both the DHCP and NAT services on an AirPort router.
If two routers were both trying to assign IP addresses to network devices using DHCP, there would likely be address conflicts on the network.
You only want one router handling DHCP and NAT service on a network. Other routers should be configured in Bridge Mode to function correctly on the network.

Does AirPort get static IP or iMac when in Bridge Mode?

I have ATT Uverse/2-wire3800hgv RG for years. I got a new iMac and AirPort Extreme that I put into bridge mode so the 3800hgv passes out the IP addresses. I use this 2-Wire RG for my Windows computers wireless/uverse and the AirPort for my iPad and iMac wireless....works great for a day or 3 days or 1 hour, then whenever my iMac wakes from sleep, I get the message "another device is using the same IP address" which it is not because it worked fine 1 munute and not the next. If I unplug the AirPort and re-start, it works again on my iMac. The airport wireless keeps working fine (my Ipad connects to the AP wireless), it's just the 2-wire RG thinks only the iMac has a conflicted IP address and wont let it connect to the internet until I re-start the APE. Is this an iMac or APE or 2-Wire issue, not that I'm trying to assign blame, just figure out how to fix it.
Is there a way to assign the iMac a static IP? Or is it the AirPort that gets a "static IP"?

Forgot to mention that the iMac has two IDs. One is an AirPort ID and other is an Ethernet ID (or MAC Address).
If you only plan to use the iMac to connect using wireless, then the 2-Wire gateway will need to be set up to provide the "static IP" address using the AirPort ID.
If you plan to connect using Ethernet, then you will need to setup a separate "static IP" address on the 2-Wire using the Ethernet ID of the iMac.
To find the AirPort ID and Ethernet ID of your iMac, open System Preferences (gear icon on the dock) and then open Network
Click on AirPort on the left, then click Advanced at the lower right. The AirPort ID for the iMac is at the bottom of the page.
Back at the main Network window, click on Ethernet on the left, click Advanced, then click on the Ethernet tab to see the Ethernet ID of the iMac.
When the AirPort Extreme is in bridge mode, it simply passes through the information from the "main" router on your network, which is the 2-Wire device.

Exclaimer manager signature does not update sent items for outlook 2013 clients when using cached mode

I have Signature Manager Exchange Edition 2.0.3.0 installed on the hub servers.
I have enabled Sent Items update.
some clients are not getting signature update in the sent items of outlook while using cached mode.
from OWA, and MS Outlook when connected online, the signature is updated in the sent items.
I have two CAS servers and two mailbox servers. all with Exchange 2013 SP1
I tested each CAS server for the URLs of Autodiscover and EWS, with no errors or warnings.
I also test Autodiscover through
https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com . I go successful result.
Outlook clients are updated to the latest version 15.0.4701.1000
for outlook clients; I deleted outlook profile, deleted outlook folder in the user profile, re-created the outlook profile, with no luck.
from Exclaimer event logs on the Hub servers. the sent items update is successfully updating clients. below is the screenshot of an event for one email message which is successfully updated from exclaimer but it did not update on the client outlook while
using cached mode.
Since the issue is with multiple users, I am searching for a centralized solution

Outlook 2010 -Mailbox Cleanup wizard does not start when using cached mode

We are using Outlook 2010 with Exchange 2003 server.
Currently all users are using online mode, but for some problem, I need to persuade the users to change to use cached mode.
Recently we find that when user
mailbox reaches its size limit and try to send an email message in Outlook 2010 that is in cached mode, the email message stays in the
Outbox and the Mailbox Cleanup wizard does not start. It just prompts
for "send and receive error". As most of the user would not look for what the error is referring and just call IT to fix. Even worst is, they didn't realize that the mail is still in outbox.
I find the KB2544027 describing this issue but was not available and suggest to install 2596485.

Based on my research from the internal resource, this issue has been fixed in build 14.0.6126.5000 or less. I suppose that the hotfix not available because it has been involved in the release.
I’d like to confirm your Office 2010 build number so that we can conduct a deeper analysis on this issue.
In addition, make sure you have installed the latest update for Office 2010.

Using "bridge mode" to extend a network question

I had been using my TC as my only wireless router. I recently obtained FiOS service and they provided me with a router that is working just fine. That router is in the basement. The house is wired for internet so I connected the TC upstairs thinking I could use it to extend the signal.
I put it in bridge mode but even when I'm in the same room my connecting devices don't show a very strong wireless signal. I'm wondering if I've set it up correctly.
I noticed when I go into the airport utility that wireless mode is turned off. Is this correct for what I'm trying to do?
If I turn on the option to "extend a wireless network) I'm not sure if I'm supposed to enter the name of the network currently assigned to my other router. A password is pre-filled in there it looks like but perhaps that from when I used to the TC by itself.
Under the "internet" tab, I have "connection sharing" set to "off-bridge mode." I think that's correct, yes?

Bridge mode is the correct setting for Connection Sharing on your TC, but you need to configure your wireless on the TC to "Create a wireless network" with the exact same name (SSID), security and password that the FIOS router is using. This will, in effect, expand your network. Your laptop will automatically connect to the device with the strongest signal as you move around the house. This is known as a "roaming" network, and it is the basic network design behind most commercial wireless installations.
The "extend a wireless network" setting is only used if you have another Apple "n" router as your main base station and you want to expand the network using wireless only, not ethernet. The "extend" setting would not be compatible with any of the FIOS routers, so you would not be able to use this setting on your network.

JVM crash when using debug mode in eclipse

I get a SIGSEGV every time I use debug mode in Eclipse. Sometimes after a few breakpoints, sometimes when I start the debug view.
Have Eclipse helios and JRE 6.0_21-b06 but have also tried 1.6.0_03-b05 with same result.

get a SIGSEGV every time I use debug mode in EclipseSo if you create a hello world program and then debug it, it crashes?
If yes then the causes would be
1. The VM(s) binaries are corrupted. Plural as it depends on how you run Eclipse.
2. Something else installed on your system at the OS level (or at least always running) is corrupt or is corrupting the OS.
3. A hardware failure.

[SOLVED] kwin crash when using OpenGL mode after upgrading to 4.7

I have a Ideapad Y460 (Graphic: ATi Mobility Radeon 5650). Recent days I upgrade my KDE from 4.7RC (4.6.95) to 4.7 (4.7.00) and also Catalyst from 11.6 to 11.7.
Update:
The problem has been solved. I used [kde-unsupported] source and kdebase-workspace package in that source contains OpenGL ES support while Catalyst doesn't support it. Thank @csslayer.
But when I use OpenGL mode, kwin crashed. I run
kwin --replace
to start kwin, then the Desktop Effect shows:
OpenGL compositing (the default) has crashed KWin in the past.
This was most likely due to a driver bug.
If you think that you have meanwhile upgraded to a stable driver,
you can reset this protection but be aware that this might result in an immediate crash!
Alternatively, you might want to use the XRender backend instead.
And there is a re-enable button. But the systemsettings window crashed when I pushed it.
I checked ~/.xsessiong-error and it shows this:
X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3
Major opcode: 20 (X_GetProperty)
Resource id: 0x1c0015a
I downgrade Catalyst but the problem still exists while KDE4.7 RC run well on my laptop. So I'm not sure whether it is caused by kwin or by Catalyst 11.7 or other packages.

I found an solution. Go to Settings/Mail, Contact, Calendar/Fetch new data and than enable Push and choose to fetch hourly or every 30 minutes. In this case your iPad will stay connected to wifi even when smart cover is closed. If you select Manualy than wifi connection will be terminated when in sleep mode.

Items in shared mailbox are not visible when using cached mode in Outlook 2013

Hi all,
When using Outlook 2013 working with the users own mailbox works great, but when a user connects an additional mailbox to its mailbox, this mailbox is shown correctly, but it contains no items. The folder list is shown correctly, but there are no items to be
seen.
These users (I have seen it with 3 different users and 2 shared mailboxes already) have full access to these mailboxes (Exchange 2010), but somehow the items aren't shown... When these users turn off cached mode, it works fine and when they use Outlook 2010
it also works fine, but using Outlook 2013 with cached mode will only show their own items and not the items in an additional shared mailbox.
What is the cause of all this?

I saw that Outlook 2013 by default caches everything and that's what I wanted. I tested however adding this regkey to see what happened and after that the email shows up in the mailboxes... Somehow the mail from shared mailboxes doesn't want to be
cached...
Does anyone know what this could be? I want everything to be cached, also the shared mailboxes but somehow this doesn't work and it does when using Outlook 2010....

Smartform font spacing Issue when using SAP printer name

Hi Friends,
I am facing some spacing issues when printing a form using SAP printer name. If I use LOCL then the output comes perfectly but when I use the SAP printer name the space between characters are getting widened and so the alignment of each column goes wayward. I suspect it could be due to the device type but not sure which seeting controls this. There is a similar problem in the logo as well. When using LOCL the logo comes out good but when using the printer name the quality is not good and becomes pixelised. Have any of you faced similar issues? Can you provide some guidance or pointers for the solution.
Device type of LOCL : ZSAPWIN
Device type of SAP printer name : ZHPLJ5
CPI is defined in smartform as 10.

Hi,
This problem occurs because the printer driver for both the printers are different,
I suggest you use Local printer only or configure any other printer with printer diver in SAP as SAPWIN.
