Good day!
Often in log of my CSS 11503 is appeared next error messages:

What does it mean? How I can see about what kind of flows there are these messages? Is it serious error or I can ignore it?

this is a level 6 message [info], so you can ignore it.
If this was serious you would get a level 1 or 2 or 3.
You should set your logging level back to 4.
Too much logging is useless.
It can only create confusion.

Basically I want to replace the Ajax Control Toolkit Slider in favor of the Component One Studio for iPhone Slider for better mobile/desktop consistency (the ajax slider doesn't work well with iPhone). I created a simple page that works on every browser and platform (iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows) except Firefox, which fails on every platform. I have already tried disabling all plugins (safe mode) and clearing cache, I have also tried this with different versions of Firefox on different platforms. I posted this error on the Component One forum but since this only occurs with Firefox I believe this is a Firefox issue.
I searched for this error on the forums and Google but didn’t get any results:

Visit the same URL with IE, Chrome or Safari and there is no error. If I click [OK] the page loads normally enough for me. Is there some JavaScript or CSS line I can put in the page to make Firefox ignore the error? If so that would be great because even if there is a fix put into Firefox itself there will be those millions of users out there that will not upgrade.

CSS Validation Errors

We have converted a coded script which has passed the html5 validation and wil be used in MUSE..
However the following errors during the CSS validation errors have arisen.

For Muse to produce the code that works on all browsers, proprietary CSS properties are needed. Until all browsers follow exactly the CSS standard and do not use their proprietary properties, we won't be able to avoid this.
On the other hand, we try our best for the HTML code to be successfully validated.

CSS burn error - device not supported

I am getting a "This device does not support copy generation management..." error while burning a disc that is checked for CSS. Have tried this on my macpro tower, macbook pro, and even my old G4.
By "device" do they mean the physical DVD drive/burner, and if so, anybody know a list of what burners ARE compatible?

Thats correct. CSS can only be applied to DVD-VIDEO discs which are pressed at replication plants. Although DVD-R/+R do contain the folders neccesary to playback, they are no the same format as DVD-VIDEO.
Now you can output DDP images which would contain the info required by a replication plant.

CSS Daemon error !!

I am having problems connecting from RMAN to the database (Oracle 10.2.0.3 running on CRS , AIX 5.3).
When i am trying to connect it shows following errors.

Sorry for the late answer, may this work-around should help you out of that issue. it applies to Version: 10.1.0.2 to 10.2.0.4
Cause
The hidden directory '/var/tmp/.oracle' was removed while instances & the CRS stack were up and running. Typically this directory contains a number of "special" socket files that are used by local clients to connect via the IPC protocol (sqlnet) to various Oracle processes including the TNS listener, the CSS, CRS & EVM daemons or even the database instance. These files are created when the "listening" process starts.
Solution
The only way to re-create these special files is to restart (instance, listener, CRS). In a RAC environment this requires the shutdown & restart of the entire CRS stack.
As these special files are required to communicate with the various CRS daemons, it most likely will not be possible to stop (and restart) the CRS stack using the following commands as user root - but it won't hurt to try it anyway:
10gR1:
# /etc/init.d./init.crs stop
# /etc/init.d./init.crs start
10gR2:
# $ORA_CRS_HOME/bin/crsctl stop crs
# $ORA_CRS_HOME/bin/crsctl start crs
If the above fails to successfully stop the CRS stack, a system reboot will be inevitable.
As for deleting files from temporary directory via a cronjob:
the directory '/var/tmp/.oracle' (on some platform /tmp/.oracle) should be excluded from such jobs. The files in this directory on occupy a few bytes and generally do not need to be cleaned up.
A good practice for deleting files is to check if the file is still being opened by a process, most Unix platforms have a 'fuser' command which returns the process IDs of such processes.

"Jigsaw" CSS Validator Error Messages, Code Not Found

As much as I would push users to that site, there are some parts of the Spry 1.0 framework that cause this type of error to occur. What Adobe did was include "hacks", for lack of a better term, to make the Spry as compatible as they could in older versions of IE. They did this knowing that the code would note validate. It appears with some other Spry items as well. I do not believe the 2.0 Spry Widgets (in the Widget Browser) have this same code validation issue.
The only validation error on that page that I would worry about is the one on your index.htm with the ul.nav a, ul.nav a:visited background attribute. The hex color can be written shorthand (3 characters) or full length (6 characters). Yours currently is C6580 which is one number short.

Site CSS cache error in DW

The probelm is : I have added a website A in my DW, it is OK. But when I use DW edit any other HTML page from site B, the page review in DW shows the A site CSS.
I think it maybe the CSS cache by the site A, How do I clear them?

CSS timeout error Oracle applicaton.

Hi,
your ar using one-arm mode. This meanse you use only 1 VLAN for client and server traffic.
The problem is that traffic passing the CSS should also return via the CSS.
In one-arm mode this is not the case because the default-gateway of your servers is the upstream router and not the CSS.
In other words, you need to force the servers to send the traffic back to the CSS instead of directly to the router.
This can be accomplished by using source NAT. THis way, the server thinks the traffic was sourced by the CSS, sending te response back to the CSS instead of the router.
You need to configure a source group. In your case, it would look something like this:
group NAT_GRP-IPCC
vip address 10.20.19.X
add destination service http-ora03m
add destination service http-ora04m
active
group NAT_HTTPS-ORACLE
vip address 10.20.19.Y
add destination service https-ora03m
add destination service https-ora04m

The VIP Addresses in the group are the addresses that will be used to replace the original source address. Note that per group the VIP address should be unique, zo replace the 3 letters with 3 different numbers.
Note that by doing this, you will lose the original source IP Address. This means that you will not be able to account the sources that have accessed your database.

CSS initialization error

Whenever I boot up I get an error message that says "the CSS.exe initialisaion process could not operate on this occasion" plus the Rescue and Recovery backup process fails each week. Any ideas? Ive gone into the R&R and client security solution programs and tried to see if there is a setting error but cant see one. Any clues? I have a ThinkPad X60s 1704-56G.

There was a connectivity issue between Essbase & workspace.
The workspace server IP had changed but the server on which essbase was installed had different entry in hosts file.
Due to this it was not able to connect to workspace.
Just wanted to share this incase anyone else faces the same issue.

If your software supports an encrypted access protocol such as SSH, Cisco recommends that you enable only that protocol and disable Telnet access when you want to use the SSH server. In order to enable the SSH Daemon (SSHD), you need an SSHD server license, which enables SSHD functionality on both the Standard and Enhanced versions of CSS software. Issue the sshd commands.
SSH version 1 support started in 4.01. SSH version 2 support started in 5.20.

by using keepalive, the CSS can automatically detect if a server is dead or alive. Only servers that are 'alive' can receive new connections.
So the CSS automatically removed the 'dead' servers from the list and add them back when they become alive.

DW 8.0.2 + CF8 + Saving CSS file = Error

I have recently installed CF8 and it's running alongside of
CF7. Running Dreamweaver 8.0.2 which I believe is the latest patch.
This scenario has happened several times today...
I have a CSS file open along with a couple other files. The
CSS file is stored in
c:\coldfusion8\wwwroot\siteFolder\cssFolder\file.css. I am running
CF8 locally in Developer mode. I have my web root shared so that a
backup server can access the files each evening, however, I deleted
that share when troubleshooting this problem and it didn't help.
Ok... with the CSS file open I hit CTRL + S. An error
appeared from Dreamweaver saying approximately...
"A sharing violation has occurred with
c:\coldfusion8\wwwroot\siteFolder\cssFolder\file.css"
At that point, I can save the file under a new name. After
doing so, I can not delete the 'old' filename because I get a
similar/same sharing violation error.
Here are the things I tried....
Closing all browsers (primarily using FF2.0.6)
Closing/restarting Dreamweaver
Reboot
The only thing that helped was a reboot. After the reboot, I
was able to edit/test my CSS file for awhile but the error
eventually came back. So... I decided to try restarting the CF8
Application Server service from my MMC. Restarting the service
temporarily fixes the problem. I'm able to save my CSS again.
Unfortunately, the error keeps coming back and I have to restart
CF8 periodically.
Anybody got any advice?

I have been experiencing this problem too with ColdFusion 8
and Dreamweaver 8. Following the suggestion below and also clicking
on the 'Clear Template Cache Now' button, every time I see the
sharing violation error, it allows me to save the file again.
I am sharing this with you guys, since it has been really
frustrating for me having to restart ColdFusion every time this
problem occurred. At least by checking off the 'Save class files'
option and clicking on the 'Clear Template Cache Now' button, every
time I need it, I can avoid having to restart the service.
I hope Adobe can fix this problem, because I love ColdFusion
8, but this problem is really annoying and unproductive.

CSS Save Error

Hi everyone,
Ever since I installed CS4 and I try to right-click and "Save
All" I get a pop-up window stating "UpdateLinks?" and no matter
whether I choose yes or no, it is immediately followed by another
pop-up that states "file:\\siteabc\www\xyz.css contains an invalid
path"
The above happens both with existing sites that worked ok in
DW8/ CS3 and with new sites I am creating in CS4.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
