CUCIMOC 8.0 Error "Start converstation capability is not available"

I've got a user that I'm trying to setup CUCIMOC 8.0 for. We're using the latest CUCIMOC client release, Office Communicator 2008 R2 at the latest CU level, and Call Manager 7.1. I've got everything setup for the user identically to how other (working) CUCIMOC users on our CM are setup. The user is able to login to the CUCIMOC client, and is able to use his phone to make calls, but when he tries to use the softphone he gets the error message:
"Failed to start converstation. Start conversation capability is not available."
Digging further, when looking at this device in CUCM Admin, the softphone device shows up as Active and Trusted, but doesn't show a registration.
Looking further, in the Core client log from his machine, I get the error below (indicating the softphone isn't able to register):

Try the following-
1) Uninstall local antivirus/firewall
2) disable all network adapters except the one being used
3) update hardware driver such as video and audio
4) uninstall cucimoc and re-install using local admin permission
Also try the latest version cuci-lync 8.5.2 (it is compatible with OCS 2007 R2 and up)

We are running CUCM 7.1.5.32900-2 and Presence 8.5.2.10000-49.
When some of the users highlight numbers and call them using click to call (The click to call that comes as a part of CUPC), they are getting the following error box...

Our users typically have 7941 phones that are associated with their user. They are not using softphone.
Has anyone else come across this error, and what was the culprit?

Problem After a secure profile is enabled for a user, the user cannot place or receive calls. The user might see the following error message multiple times:
Failed to start conversation
The user can use the instant messaging features.
This problem occurs if a secure profile is enabled for the user in Cisco Unified Communications Manager while either of the following is true:
•The user is signed in to Cisco Unified Personal Communicator.
•The cucsf.exe process is running on the computer of the user, that is, Cisco Unified Personal Communicator is running, but the user has not signed in.
Ask the user to sign out of Cisco Unified Personal Communicator, then sign in again.

Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Pro PC with Windows 7 - error mess "Adobe PDF Printer - not available" Help?

Just loaded my old Acrobat 7.0 Professional on new PC with Windows 7 - Error message "Adobe PDF Priner not available. Therefore do not have option of Adobe printer when using Word.
Any ideas as to what - if anythjing I can do?

Technically acrobat 7 not not designed for windows 7 OS. You can try to install the pdf printer manually but it's not guaranteed :
Click the Windows "Start" menu, select "Control Panel," choose "Hardware and Sound," click the "Add a Printer" link under Devices and Printers.
Click "Next" and select "Local Printer Attached to This Computer."
Remove the check from "Automatically Detect and Install My Plug and Play Printer" and click "Next."
Select "My Documents\\*.pdf (Adobe PDF)" in the port selection drop-down menu and click "Next."
Select the "Have Disk" option and click the "Browse" button to open a dialog box.
Select the "AdobePDF.inf" file located in the AdobePDF folder in your Program Files directory under "Adobe" | "Acrobat 9.0" | "Acrobat" | "Xtras."
Select the first item on the list of Adobe PDF Converter options and click "Next."
Type "Adobe PDF" in the field for a printer name and click "Next."
Wait for two minutes for the system to process the drivers and click "Finish" to close the Add a Printer wizard.

I need urgent help!!
I'm trying to start Oracle 8.1.6 i on Solaris 8. But there are lot of error:
1. During initialising the database with dbassist, the error Code Error Codes: ORA 01034-"ORACLE not available" and ORA-01012-"not logged on" were shown.
2. I'm trying to start Oracle 8i on Sun Solaris 8 by typing svrmgrl-connect interal-startup. But the following was shown on by screen:

I have a VM Machine with OEL 4.5 and have oracle 11g release 2 installed but do not have database created.
on the command prompt I am getting error message
ORA-01034: Oracle Not available

Session ID: 0 Serial Number: 0
is it because I have not created the database... ?
if yes can some one please guide me how I can create database...

It is A Good Thing (tm) that you actually copied and pasted the entire error message. Some here seem to think "it doesn't work" is an actionable error message. However, for future reference, error messages are the result of something happening. They are far more meaningful if you were to also copy and paste the command that triggered the error.

Learning how to look things up in the documentation is time well spent investing in your career. To that end, you should drop everything else you are doing and do the following:
Go to tahiti.oracle.com.
Drill down to your product and version.
BOOKMARK THAT LOCATION
Spend a few minutes just getting familiar with what is available here. Take special note of the "books" and "search" tabs. Under the "books" tab (for 10.x) or the "Master Book List" link (for 11.x) you will find the complete documentation library.
Spend a few minutes just getting familiar with what kind of documentation is available there by simply browsing the titles under the "Books" tab.
Open the Reference Manual and spend a few minutes looking through the table of contents to get familiar with what kind of information is available there.
Do the same with the SQL Reference Manual.
Do the same with the Utilities manual.
You don't have to read the above in depth. They are reference manuals. Just get familiar with what is there to be referenced. Ninety percent of the questions asked on this forum can be answered in less than 5 minutes by simply searching one of the above manuals.
Then set yourself a plan to dig deeper.
- Read a chapter a day from the Concepts Manual.
- Take a look in your alert log. One of the first things listed at startup is the initialization parms with non-default values. Read up on each one of them (listed in your alert log) in the Reference Manual.
- Take a look at your listener.ora, tnsnames.ora, and sqlnet.ora files. Go to the Network Administrators manual and read up on everything you see in those files.
- When you have finished reading the Concepts Manual, do it again.

Error message "iTunes Helper Resources not available" and saving to wrong Drive

I am trying to upgrade iTunes to 10.7 on my PC but I keep getting the error message "iTunes Helper Resources not available". Diagnostics take me a support page which talks about not being able to see the device in iTunes - but I can see the device without problems.
I thought I would try reinstalling iTunes from the webpage and it downloaded to my PC fine but when I went to setup, it showed me it is saving to a DVD drive - not my Hard drive. It also won't let me change the location for the file. I have no idea how that's happened as I obviously don't use the DVD drive as a USB (although the PC see's it as one) and I've never chosen it as the location for iTunes in the 7-8 years that I've been using it.
I then thought I'd try uninstalling it and reinstalling it (to the correct drive) but again, it comes up that the DVD drive is invalid and won't uninstall iTunes.
So I'm stuck and haven't been able to find anything helpful on the support pages or in iTunes Help.

Try the following user tip. (Probably, the section on clearing the installation database might be best given that you've currently got a drive on the problematic letter at the moment.)

Business Package for Assets 50.3.1: Error in Source. Message not available

Just deployed the Business Package for Assets 50.3.1 on Portal version 7 with SP8, when running the Assets detail, my assets iviews always display: "Error in Source. Message not available."
even all other iviews on the same page still work as expected.
has anyone got the similar problem before? please help!!!

When logged on to R/3, choose the following from the menu:
System > Status...
In screen area "SAP System data" click on the button next to "Component version".
Look for the component named only "PI", and check wether it exixts and what release it is, it should be at least 2003_1_XXX (where XXX represents your R/3 Appl version).
Also, check that you have the component "WP-PI" installed with the release 600_XXX (where XXX corresponds to your SAP Basis release).
I know I needed to check/install these two when I configured the Assets package.

MSS iView Error "Error in Source. Message not available"

After installing MSS 60.1.5 (System = HP-UX 11.11 ORACLE 9.2.0.5. SAP EP 6.0 ON WEB AS 6.20)
and trying to use the the iViews in the MyBudget workset we are getting the following errors:
Using iView Chritical Variance on My cost centers and assets monitor we are getting the error Error in Source. Message not available.
Using iView Critical Line Items on My Cost Centers we are getting the error An error occurred in the SAP system10 The specified SAP system could not be found null SAP_R3_Financials.
We have made system allias for our system oursystem = SAP_R3_Financials and the user we are using have accesse to the portal as well as the backend system.
When creating normal SAP transaction iViews we have no problem accessing the backend system from the Portal.
Any good ideas will be appriciated.

What organizer on your computer are you sychronizing with (Microsoft® Outlook® for example)? Do you get this message specifically when trying to perform a synchronization or a backup?

Receiving error - The requested resource is not available

I am trying to deploy a new Project (WebApplication1) in NB5.0. I started with a very simple index.jsp and a small NewServlet. NB5.0 builds the project successfully. When I try to run, it opens a URL - http://localhost:8080/WebApplication1/WebApplication1, but then displays an error message - "The requested resource (/WebApplication1/WebApplication1) is not available." When I try to access - http://localhost:8080/WebApplication1/index.jsp, it loads the JSP successfully and also takes me to the servlet. Does anyone know why is the URL - http://localhost:8080/WebApplication1/WebApplication1 not pointing to index.jsp? I have index.jsp as welcome-page in web.xml.

In the Projects tab, right click WebApplication1 and then choose properties in the very end. In the Project Properties window, click the run in the left panel, check the context path in the right panel. Make sure it's /WebApplication1/WebApplication1 (default should be WebApplication1, I think).
Then open web.xml to make sure the welcome page is added as index.jsp.

Cannot start PC: Optimized dst not available

Hi everyone,
I have a HP pavilion dm4. It works perfectly yesterday and tonight, it does not want to start.
I've launched the startup test and run-in test and the last failed. I've got the following error:
Memory Test: Passed
Smart check Passed
Short dst: passed
Optimized dst: not available
Failure id: 9SMUG4-0007k1-XD6U3G-C0EB03

You can try to boot the unit in last known good configuration mode by choosing from the Advanced boot options by tapping F8 on boot. If that does not work then you might have to reinstall the operating system using the HP restore discs.

I write the some asp code to save the word file from client machine to server machine , and convert it into the html file.
it working fine when i debug the code into the visual studio but when i deploy code on iis it give me a error 'This command is not available because no document is open' , while i try to save file into html format.
lot of time i try this give all the security full access to iis user and other things .
can any one help me. i fully frustrated from this problem.
my need only upload the word document from client to server machine and convert it into the word document.
