Cumulation type in routing

Hi Gurus,
I don't see exactly what is the difference between cumulation type 1 and 2 in the routing when there are suboperations.  I don't see any differences in routing nor in order itself.  Could you help me please ???
Regards

Dear,
This is basically summarise the sub operatyion std value to main operation which take say 4 hrs nw/o sub operation
Say sub operation 1 takes 2 hrs, Sub operation 2 takes 3 hrs, then  commulation type
0     No summarization takes place i.e,. operation has its own hrs
1     Summarization in task list and order i.e. tiotal operation hrs 2+3 hrs
2     Summarization in order - in routing it is 4 hrs ...it is operation hrs and in order it is 5 hrs
Make sure that you do the following
select the operation which has sub operation then follow the Menu path -->summarrise std values...
you will see above result in operation std value.

    Hi Sandeep,
    It is possible..
For that you need to go to the Tcode - PE51_CHECKTAB.
    1. You need to specify the Table name in the Tables Tab.
    2. Correspondinly you need to specify the fields of the table in the Fields tab.
    3. then come to the tab F4 Help ID, where you can define Subroutine. The subroutine coding has to be done in the program you specify in the column Program Name  for the form. then the code will be effective while you are in PE51.
Eg. if it is for the form CEDT(Remuneration Statement), you need to code in the exit RPCEDSZ9 and the program HINCEDT0(For India).

  • Filtering External Type 1 routes between OSPF areas

Hello. I have a situation where I have two different telco's providing Metro Ethernet services to my site. Both providers will be sending me routes as OSPF external type 1's. I want to prevent the ISP's routers from peering with one another. One way I was thinking of accomplishing this is by making the connection to ISP1 under OSPF area 1 and to ISP2 area 2.
Is there a way I can filter the LSA's so no information is transferred between the two ISP routers in the two areas? Specifically, I don't want the type 5 LSA's generated by each ISP router to be sent to the other ISP router.
    Thanks

    Mike
I do not think that configuring two areas will do what you need. But I think that you could achieve this by configuring separate OSPF processes. When you have separate processes they do not share information automatically. You must redistribute routes from one process to another and you can control what routes are redistributed.
Finding the optimum solution would require more knowledge of your environment and your complete requirements than we have. But I syspect that something like this will work for you:
configure ospf 1 and put the connection from ISP 1 into it. configure ospf 2 and put the connection from ISP 2 into it. configure ospf 99 (or whatever number you like) and put the connections from your network into that process. Then you can redistribute from 1 and 2 into 99 but not redistribute between 1 and 2. And if you need to advertise your routes to the ISPs then you probably need to redistribute from 99 into 1 and 2.

  • Shipment Type and Route cost relevance on Shipment

A route is created and the stage is marked as cost relevant. The route may be used for prepay or collect inco terms.
The shipment type defined as collect is not cost relevant.
A shipment is created and the shipment cost is not cost relevant based on shipment type, but the overall status is "Not Processed" when it is created because of the route stage. The desired status is 'Not Relevant".
What is the correct way to handle this?
Is it necessary to create two routes for same stage: one for prepay and one for collect?

A route should be created to support the different shipment type

  • Iphone wifi no longer works with one type of router...

    Hello all,
I have been looking at other posts but have not found any resolution. My iphone 3g has always worked on my home wifi but stopped two weeks ago or so. It works fine on other peoples routers and my imac and powerbook pick up the wifi fine.
I found that other people using the wcg200 gateway modem/router with comcast are all of the sudden having the same issue.
Does anyone know of a fix? I hate to think we all have to go out and purchase a new piece of equipment when it was working fine for so long. Any help would be great.
    Thanks in advance

Thanks for the tips! I tried it all but none of it worked.
It seems to be everyone with a wcg200 can't get wifi to work. I have had the phone
for 6 months now and it worked great till about 2 weeks ago or so. Nothing seems to work. Again,
it works fine with other peoples wifi and my other computers work fine with it.
Maybe someone can make this a pet project. I read that comcast updated the ROM on this model without telling us. If that caused it, can anyone think of how to make it work again? I am lost and I hate to have to buy a new modem/router if there is a way to fix this issue.
    Thanks again

  • MASS activity type in router

I'm hoping someone has any ideas if CA85N can really MASS change activity types. I have been testing the transaction in our test client and have entered the material, plant, work center in the selection criteria and then in the change tab I have entered the new activity type and click the copy button.
However, the system keeps giving me errors that there isn't an activity type for standard value for setup. But I'm not changing setup, I'm trying to change labor.
I also get another error "consistency check is not successful when changing operation 0004. But for this one material I'm not changing operation 0004. I'm changing operation 0030.

    Hi,
Activity Type will for a Work Center and not for the Standard Value Key. Hence when you are trying to change the activity type system will try to modify for the standard values for Setup / Operation / Labour etc. In your case I think you have not entered any activity type for the Setup, hence it is showing that error.
I suggest you to go tcode : CR02/CR03 and check in the costing tab whether you have maintained the activity type for Setup or not.
    Hopw this will help you.

    Hai mangalraj,
Thanks for your reply. In case of the formulas which we use in work centre. The values for calculating the formulas in case of Capacity and scheduling will they come from Operations assigned to the workcentre timings. In case of costing will they come from the activity type specified for them?
    Is this right?
Can you please correct me if i m wrong?

  • Type of router I've never seen before

hi - Not really a help question, just a wondering question.
We got contracted to upgrade some routers at a local gov't building, and they had these 3com netbuilder remote office devices, and from what we have surmised is that these devices operate at layer2. Almost act like a switch over a T1 line. Have any of you ever encounter such a device?
Site A hosts the DHCP server and Remote Side B recieves its ip address over the T1 link.
They told us when they bought these(about 8 years ago) they just unboxed them hooked them up and turn them on and did no configurating at all.

Sounds like some NETBuilder Remote Office or SuperStack II NETBuilder routers running 3Com's Boundary Routing system architecture. I used to work with these in a previous life, B.C. ("Before Cisco")
Specific port configuration options and protocol sets would determine the three-digit model number. And the model number would be embedded in the 3Com part number. For example, part number 3C8221B would be a NETBuilder Remote Office 221 Boundary router with Ethernet LAN interface. (3C8221C would be a SuperStack II NETBuilder 221 - same thing, different name.)
Boundary Routing would centralize the routing complexity and support staff at a single site, with a full-blown 3Com router there (NBRO or SS2NB 227/327/427/527 or NETBuilder II) handling things. This made for easy plug-and-play installations at the remote sites.
Essentially fancy WAN bridges, like Scott said.

  • Spanning-Tree Port Type Edge & Router

I am wondering if a switch trunk port that is facing a router that is connected with subinterface can be classified as an edge port in the eyes of Spanning-Tree.
    Thanks.

    Ricardo
You should configure the switchport as "spanning-tree portfast trunk"
As Glen says that is assuming you are not connecting to a switch module on the router.

  • Yosemite Messages Screen Sharing Router Type: Port Restricted

I want to do Screen Sharing via Messages as newly enabled in Yosemite (through Messages...not the Buddy List).  Unfortunately, it fails.  I run Connection Doctor under Video in Messages and see that I have an issue with the message "Router Type: Port Restricted".  I would like to see "Full Cone".
What do I need to do?
I am on AT&T U-Verse running a Motorola NVG589 modem. I have the wireless disabled on the NVG589.  The NVG589 is connected via ethernet to my Apple Airport Time Capsule (the tower model that is 802.11ac).  The Airport Time Capsule is set up in Bridge Mode - so as not to create Double NAT but to offer 802.11ac wifi speeds and to provide Time Machine backups.
I have connected directly to the NVG589 modem and gotten the same "Router Type: Port Restricted" message.  I assume I must open a port/ports on the NVG589. If so...what are those ports?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi,
The Messages app in all versions up to Mavericks only Screen Shares with AIM to AIM and Jabber to Jabber contacts as well as Bonjour connections on your LAN.
It is based on those accounts that do Video and Audio Chats within the app.
The iMessages invokes FaceTime to do Video and will not do Screen Sharing.
However as you say there is this info:-
    Share a conversation —
    and your screen.
Now you can share your screen with the person you’re chatting with. Then you can go from iMessage conversation to screen sharing with just a click. You can easily do things like collaborate on a presentation with a colleague, browse the web with a friend, or select airplane seats with your spouse. And Messages automatically initiates an audio chat when you start a screen sharing session, so you can talk things through while you’re at it.
On checking the icon to Screen Share does appear in iMessages conversation Details option
Notice the slightly diminished ("greyed out") quality to the Screen Sharing icon.
It appears it only works to other Macs.
The Buddies menu also has the option greyed out.
    Routers
My Network Status looks like this.
The Bandwidth Limit is set in Messages > Preferences > Video/Audio pane > Bandwidth Limit.
Setting it to 500kbps is over what it needs to do 4 Way Video chat as Host.
When it is a really fast connection to a much slower Buddy it can help  and also with higher speeds come higher variances which and cause havoc.
There are four main type of Router  type as this refers to them.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_address_translation#Methods_of_port_transla tion
Port Restricted is just as effective as Full Cone.
I have had it show up this way on a  Thompson-Alcatel 510v4 when I was first On line in iChat 2 and Netgear device I forget the number of, a Sagem Fast2504 from Sky my current internet provider when I had DLS and the current Fibre Hub that they supply.
I have UPnP set as the method to open the ports needed.
This allows the computer (apps) to tell the router which ports to open.
They will also close after periods on Non use.
Router that do UPnP advertise the fact.
You can reduce the number of devices that happens through (Hops). The default setting is normally 4.  Router to computer counts as 1 Ethernet hubs don't count. But large LANs with more routers (Subnets to LANs) will count as more Hops.
    Ports.
Most devices have the first 1024 port open (there are 65355 in total).
These lower numbered port handle things like Web Browsing on port 80.
FTP on port 21 and 22
Some Outgoing Mail servers on port 25
Secure web connection on port 443
    and so on.
Messages and FaceTime Video chats use ports above this.
These are the one you tend to have to allow.
Video uses 5678 to send invites then moves to port 16402  (or one from a group of 10 ports below this)

  • Having issue in Payroll function P0014 with Payment model in Info type 0014

    Hi All,
I configured payment model for bi-weekly payroll area.
Payment  model is configured in a way that deduction/payment only happen in first pay period of a month in IT0014.
Position 5 in table T549X payment in first pay period of 2011.. partial in Dec 2010 and in Jan 2011.
Position 6 in table T549X Pay period 2 --> should not be any deduction/payment
Position 7 in table T549X Payment in third pay period
Position 8 in table T549X Pay period --> should not be any deduction/payment
Position 9 in table T549X Payment in 5th pay period
I checked logic of payroll function P0014
In perform "chck_last_pay" which is specific to P0014 or W0014
In Pay period 1 function reads pay period which is greater than 1 in this case it is 2
    LOOP AT T549z WHERE ( pabrp > $pabrp AND pabrj = $pabrj )
                        OR ( pabrj > $pabrj ).       "#EC PORTABLE
    period = $i549z-pabrp(2) + 4.   Pay period 2 +4 = 6
In 6th position of table T549X PP02 exist ; there should not be any payment/deduction
ASSIGN COMPONENT period OF STRUCTURE t549x TO <period>.
so after exiting from this perform payroll function checks CRT there is no monthly payment so deduction happen .
However becasue of above loop and read statement in perform chck_last_pay there is no deduction/payment from PP03.
So I want to know how can I resolve this issue, any suggestion or idea.
    Thanks

Hi Payment model is attached to premium wage type specific to company.
    I only found difference.
If following values are not matched then system do not calculate deduction as it supposed to do.
    T549R-ZEINH <> T54C2-ZEINH
If following 2 values are matched then deduction payment model works at it suppose to work.
    in my case
    In table T549R
For Bi weekly payroll area Period parameter (PERMO) is 04
and time unit (ZEINH) is also set to 04.
    However in table T54C2
    Cumulation type (CUMTY) is M
and its time unit is (ZEINH) is 01
    In table T549W
    Model is ZPBI
    Date modifier is 00
    Period parameter (PERMO) is 04
    Cumulation type PPERM  is M
any suggestion what should I do in this case.
    Thanks,

  • Why do I need a hardwire for my WRVS4400N wireless router?

I am not very technically inclined.  Plug and play is my way.  So when I got my first router (a linksys) i plugged in the ethernet cables and voila!-----internet access as well as connectivity for my xbox 360, ps3 and Wii.  The people rejoiced.
Times change.  I was happy with my last Linksys hard-wired router, so when I finally got tired of all the wires laying around I went Linksys wireless.  BEST BUY told me the best wireless/hardwire router around is the WRVS4400N.  With this router I can have my 2 360's wireless as well as my pc.  The Wii and PS3 along with my wife's computer are hardwired.  There is also a hardwire going from the router to the Comcast cable modem.  Plug and play this, that and the other thing and voila!-----internet and gaming galore!  Once again, the people rejoiced.
That is, until, I decided to make my wife's computer wireless.  The people rebelled.  Once my wife's pc went wireless (like my two 360's and pc),  I lost all connectivity.  No logging on to the playstation network, XBOX live, Wii surfing, and no internet access.  After many hours of turning off this, resetting that and plugging/unplugging the other thing, we finally figured out how to keep the people happy--one of the pc's has to be hard-wired to allow everything else to work (internet access, gaming, etc.).
So the people are happy, but the king is not as his kingdom is bound by the tyranny of one ethernet cable.  Not to mention the fact that his wireless signal is unsecured.
This makes no sense to me.  Why do I need one of the pc's to be hard-wired just to get everything else to work?

Trying to download firmware from this go_____ed company is like trying to pull teeth!  I mean, w_f?!  Are they trying to lose customers?
I found answer ID 4030 and under step 2 it told me "to go to the Linksys download page, click here and verify the model and version number of your Linksys product."  I clicked on the link and that took me to "Support and Services."  I entered my model number where appropriate and that took me to some kind of small business section!  Small business?!?!?  I'm a bloody home user, not some f____ng businessman!!!!!
Anyway, I click on this link:  Cisco Small Business (Linksys Business Series) software and firmware downloads (I know it says Small business, but where else was I supposed to go?  I mean, this is where Support and Services sent me).  That link took me to Support>Download Software.
Under "Support>Download Software>Select a Software Product Category" I clicked on the Router Software link (which had a padlock icon next to it).  They wanted me to login again.  So I try, but I keep getting repeated (and erroneous) login errors telling me I entered my username and password incorrectly.  I checked my username and password many times.  No problems with my username or password.  Thus, a dead end there.
I went to the "Support>Download Software>Software Search" and entered the model number of my router.  I clicked on this link:  Download Software for Cisco WRVS4400N Wireless-N Gigabit Security Router - VPN V1.0 & V1.1 : wrvs440....  Guess what?  They wanted me to login AGAIN!!!!!  So I try, but I get the same login error messages I got before!!!!!  Je___ _______ ____st!  Another dead end!
I am at my wits end here.  Getting some kind of firmware for my router to work properly should not be this f____ng difficult!  I don't even know how to access my router's web user interface!
Any other suggestions before I finally say goodbye to Linksys/CISCO?  Because I mean after this b______t experience, the next time I need some type of router or modem or something along those lines, I'm gonna think twice about going to Linksys/CISCO.
P.S.  Sorry about my edited language, but if you had to go through what I did, I believe you'd be just as frustrated as I am.  I spent around $250.00 for this router and it doesn't even work right!!!!!

  • Can't get older mac to connect to wireless router

I have an older G4 mac, which had an Airport wireless snow type of router. I've currently upgrade to an iMac with an Airport Extreme router. I can't get the old G4 to 'see' the Airport Extreme Network, so I can use the other computer to check email and get on the internet. Do I have to load in the same Airport software on both machines? Any help will be appreciated.

On my G4, I have the software installed which I used when setting up my other wireless router, the snow M8440. Could this be the problem?
Yes. Let's take a step back. You can use any computer to configure your new Airport Extreme, but first be sure you have installed the Airport Utility program from the link I posted above. The earlier version of Airport Utility you used for your Snow Airport doesn't have the necessary features to configure your new Airport Extreme.
The only reason to keep the old Airport Utility program would be to configure your old Snow Airport Base Station, which you're not using any more. So put it aside.
Since you're having trouble getting your G4 to connect at all, it makes sense to use your new iMac to configure your new AirPort Extreme. So let's use it for now.
The ability to use the dual band feature of the new Extreme is described starting on page 20 of the following: Apple Airport Networks (early 2009). The document is very lengthy but don't let that bother you - Apple's Airport base stations are extremely versatile and the manual gets very detailed, but most of it won't concern you.
I made a wireless network named Airport Extreme on my iMac.
The way you worded this concerned me, so at the risk of sounding Presidential, "let me be clear"
Technically, you don't want to create a wireless network on your iMac - the wireless network with which you want to connect is created by your Extreme, and you use Airport Utility to make that happen.
Your Airport icons on all your computers should look like one of these:
    If it looks like this:
then you have created a "computer to computer network". You don't want that.
Next: the passage of the Apple Airport Networks manual above also describes how to set up your Airport Network's wireless security...
I click on the Airport Extreme, the next window comes up with Wireless Security: WEP password. I type in my password I used to set up the Airport Extreme network, and get the following error message: There was an error joining the Airport network "Airport Extreme". ...
I advocate using no security at first, to eliminate one roadblock when first configuring a network. After everything works, set up WPA or WPA2 Personal. I'm reasonably sure your G4 supports it. The older WEP protocol is no longer considered secure - it amounts to "feel-good" security.
I trust this gets things pointed in the right direction. If you're still stuck write back and we'll get you un-stuck. Your G4 will work with your new Extreme.

  • How to use a Westell 7500 as a router-switch ?

I have an extra Verizon Westell 7500 DSL modem router (A90-750015-07). How do I turn it into a router-switch that will take an ethernet (not DSL) network feed (with internet access) and distribute it among a few devices and put those devices into some kind of sub-network so they see each other? I'm not using technical terms here - please teach me.
My wife is going to rent a small temporary office that provides internet access via a socket in the wall. Let's assume it's a typical RJ-45 ethernet socket. The internet speed might actually be pretty good - maybe 30Mbs down and very fast up. The total internet capacity is shared with other temporary offices in the facility, but let's assume we'll have enough for our needs.
If the only thing I bring is a single computer, I could use a J-45 ethernet cable to plug its network card directly into this socket and be done. But I'll be bringing at least two computers and a small printer/scanner. Both computers will need to share the internet access, and both computers and the printer/scanner will need to "see" each other. (Just like at home.)
So, if I plug the extra Westell 7500 into the network wall socket and then my PCs and printer into the Westell, I should get what I need here, yes? How do I do this exactly, step-by-step?
I have experimented at home and have maybe 10% success. At home, I don't have an ethernet socket in the wall, but I do have my current (not Westell) modem-router, and it has an unused LAN socket, which I am pretending is the office's ethernet socket. I connected a test computer to the Westell 7500 and logged onto the Westell 7500's embedded server (192.168.1.1), changed its VersaPort from "LAN ethernet port" to "WAN uplink port", connected the newer modem-router's unused LAN socket to the Westell 7500's E1/Uplink socket with a J45 cable, went to the Westell 7500's "Advanced" page and ran "Detect WAN Configuration". That changed the Westell 7500's "WAN uplink port Settings Protocal" from PPPoE to Routed IP. The Westell 7500 now also says its "Broadband Connection Type" is "Routed Bridge".
The test computer connected to the Westell 7500 shows it is connected to the Westell 7500, but it cannot connect all the way through to the internet. At the start, the newer modem-router shows the Westell is connected to it, and the newer modem-router has given the Westell a DHCP address of 192.168.1.5. But after a few minutes, the newer modem-router doesn't show the Westell any more. If I re-run Detect WAN Configuration on the Westell 7500, it says "Automatic Protocol Detecion is in progress" but then "DHCP server was found ... PPPoE server not found", and then the newer modem-router shows the Westell 7500 again as 192.168.1.5. But the test computer does not have internet access.
What exactly should I do with the additional settings in the Westell 7500 to make this work?
If there's a great web site to explain this to me, please point me there.
    Thanks.
