Custom Lifecycle / History reporting needed.
We would like to be able to report on machine name and User name to see the history of a pc or user. Example: Employee leaves company and lawsuit requires us to attempt to find all PCs this user has ever logged into, what software they had, etc.....
Thats just an example, perhaps an extreme one, but we would like to be able to track use the data we have to report the entire life of a pc. Does anyone have any unique reports that they can share?
We are also planning to dive deeper into getting value from ZCM, I would love to hear what other custom reporting you have done in your environment to ease your day to day tasks.

We are currently keeping all data and we have an excess amount to carve into reports. We are working on that end now. We have reports built for specific needs but nothin as advanced as a life cycle report. We had mentioned the idea to a Novell contact and started working out the ideas but he in no longer with Novell after the restructure they had.

Is it possible to run a program so the system will record already posted transactions?

Workflow history report best practice
Hi.
How do you recommend to make custom workflow history report(s)?
For example, let's think of the most simple document approval process: initiator uploaded document, manager reviews the document, if approved - document is marked as approved, if not - document should be modified by initiator. In real life
review can be done by group, business flow will be much more complicated, some tasks will be assigned to other users, etc.
Now, I need to show feedback received from users in a short, readable format. Let's say we need to know:
1) when review was made
2) who made it (name, position, email)
3) review outcome (approved/rejected/custom)
4) review comment
So, nothing unusual here.
I see the following options:
Make a view from different sources: workflow history list, workflow tasks list, current library. For me it sounds crazy.
Write necessary data into workflow history list and don't write there anything else. This option doesn't support multiple reports.
Write all data into workflow history list and then somehow filter its data. Again sounds crazy.
Write data into custom SharePoint list and then make views based on it. Looks flexible. But, probably, every workflow will need separated list.
Write data into external SQL database, then somehow show in SharePoint. The most flexible, can store practically any amount of data, apply any kind of transformation. But data is not in SharePoint directly, some data connection/sync issues might
occur.
What will you recommend?
BTW, there is additional question: all this logging creates so much "noise" in workflow diagram - I write some information on regular basis after some events and that requires adding multiple activities every time: set workflow status, update
item (set some custom status), write workflow history and write into some external data store. 3-4 repeating events - how can I "group" them into something like 1 activity?Hi,
I would suggest you use the custom list option.
With SharePoint OOTB List, we can take use of the available features provided to manage data conveniently.
Also, as a data source, we can also generate different kinds of reports from SharePoint List using other reporting products such as Excel.
For the second question, I would suggest you open a single thread for it to let others in this forum easier to focus on one question in one single thread.

Customer payment history in CM report

does anyone know the extent of customer payment history included in the CM report, provided that the customer is marked for "Record payment history"? Is it a certain number of months or a certain number of payments? Can you change it to a different number of months/payments for one company code?

in my case I have 10 payments and 63 invoices (the clearing document is the same for all 73 documents).
One of 10 payments is linked to 6 invoices (I gather it from the text field SGTXT), so BSAD-REBZG of the payment contain only one invoice number, not 6.
Furthermore, I have invoices paid by more than one payment (partial payments) so I'm unable to reconstruct the story.
Do you have any other suggestions to solve my problem?

Due date analysis
Payment history
Overdue items
DSO analysis

Bookings Per Participant Report - Need Active Employees Only
When I run the standard Bookings Per Participant LSO_RHXBUCH0 report, it gives me everyone who ever completed the selected Course or Course Type within the search parameters (completion within a date range, for a specific organizational unit, etc.). I need to get the report to find only employees who are currently Active, but have not been able to do so. The Selection options screen with the status field seems to only allow limiting the Planning status of objects like the org unit or course type, but not the employee's status.
Does anyone know of any course history report by participant in SAP that will allow me to specify the report should show only Active employees in the results?

New selection criteria of Sales Employee/Buyer is part of enhancements of Aging Reports in SAP Business One 8.8 release.
When you generate the aging report in v8.8:
u2022 You can group the report by customer or sales employee in the customer receivables aging report, and by vendor or buyer in the vendor liabilities aging report.
u2022 You can specify more flexible time interval. For the time interval Days, 4 new fields are added for you to specify the duration.
u2022 You can hide the Future Remit column on the report by choosing Ignore Future Remit.
u2022 When the aging report has been generated, you can view multicustomer/multivendor detailed information in the aging report window. There is no need to double-click each customer/vendor row to view the details.

End user need a report to show stock movement trasaction and it's coresponding stock balance.
In MB51, we can see all the stock movements against one material, is there any way a report could show stocks' corresponding iventory balance under diffierent invenotory category (unrestriced,QC, Return and block) for each movement trasaction ?
Report needed like below
SLoc , MoveType , Material document, posting date, qty, unrestic bal, QC balance, return Balance, Blked Bal.

The report S_ALR_87012174 uses the logical databse DDF which does not have this field of PO number (BSTKD) given in the sales order, as it is the customer purcchase order nu,ber for the sales application.
This it is not availble for the data source, so the report can not be enhanced for that.
You ned to create a custom report for the same, if needed this desperatly.

I've got a error msg when try to generate a report using Cisco history report tool:
Error | An Exceptional Error occurred. Application exiting. Check the log file for error 5022
It only happens when choose report template: ICD_Contact_Service_Queue_Activity_by_CSQ_en_us.
User tried samething on other PC, it working fine.
only on user' own PC and only choose this report, error appears.
user runing windows 7 and do not have crystal report installed
tried reinstalled the software, doesn't work.
