Custom Title Window?

I'm new to Flex, Java, Javascript, and ActionScript so please be
very detailed with your response and give code examples
I am wanting to make a fully custom title window that will
blend with my site's design.. I know I can change the colors of the
current title window but I need to be able to add gradients and
thing I've created in Photoshop to it... Can someone please tell me
in full detail or link me to a tutorial that shows me exactly how I
can accomplish this please?

How to tell Terminal to Do Script in specified Custom Titled window

I'm writing a script that needs to create and name multiple terminal windows. And later in the script revisit those windows and do an individual script in each one.
Here's a very simplified version of the script to show what I'm trying to do. This should Create 2 new terminal windows called "Name_1" and "Name_2." Then later in the script revisit them and run individual scripts "Blah_1" and "Blah_2" in the appropriate windows. But I'm getting an error when I try to call up a window by it's custom name.
And yes, I'm aware that "Blah_1" doesn't achieve anything. It's just a placeholder until I get the actual script written.

Terminal windows have different properties than tabs, and the name/title can also be modified depending on the preferences. When you create a new window, a new tab will be created in it - the custom title property of the tab will affect the name of the window. Depending on your other settings, something like the following should work:

Here is the code of the Button in the skin class of spark title window.

So first change the default height and width from 15 to 32. Then in the Button Skin class i.e. spark.skins.spark.TitleWindowCloseButtonSkin change paths to modify the cross symbol.

Problem with the Titler WIndow

Hello,
I don't know how it happened but the titler window is saparate in 2 windows : one with the title by it self and the other one with tools and buttons.
How is it possible to have only one window again ?

Though I would expect it to be in Eddie's link, you only need to go to Window (in the Toolbar at the top of the GUI), choose Workspaces, and then choose one of the default Workspaces listed, or any Custom Workspaces that you might have created. Hint: once you get a Workspace set up the way you like it, do save it as a Custom Workspace. Can save a lot of time later. I have about a dozen, plus the ones that ship/install with PrPro and use them for different tasks.

I believe the issue is that you are not actually searching against the result source you made in step #1.
It's not enough to make a result source, you have to tell the search results web part to use it.
Try this:
1. Go to the Pages library of Search Center
2. Create a new Search Results page
3. Edit the page, then edit the search results web part
4. Change the source for the search results web part to your source
5. Add the page to your Search Center navigation
6. Run the search on that page

Dispatching an event while closing a title window

my app requires some data to be refreshed whenever a new data is submitted
the new data is submitted in a form that opens in a seperate title windiw and i want to dispatch some sort of an event or indication which can be listened to in my main program so that data can be refreshed as soon as the window is closed .....
the close event doesnt work because i close my title window manually at the submission of data , without clicking on the close button , ... I tried making a custom event and dispatching but doesnt seem to work out .... I am quite a beginner so please help me out with this ....

Title Window - Colors Panel

I seem to have lost my colors panel in the title window.
The first time I tried TITLER, I couldn't find the colors panel to change text colors, any colors, etc. I then found it was behind the panel that TITLE opened in. OK, fine. There it was, behind it.
Now, the colors panel is not behind it nor anywhere to be found. I even asked my dog if he maybe thought it was a bone and buried it (LOL-he just scratched and went to sleep).
Where oh where did that color panel go, ohhhh, where oh where can it be?

Nope, tried that then looked everywhere, undocked windows, everywhere - no colors panel. WOW - CS5 is just a learning workhorse.
With luck, an employee might show up and advise. That would be great customer service!

Logic Pro 9 Says Not For ReSale On Title Window

Everytime i open logic pro 9 it always say not for resale on title windows I put the right serial key in. I purchased it from the Apple Store. Please help its annoying.

Yes, but you had a pirated version before the legit (proper) one you purchased correct?
The App store version does not require or ask for a serial number unless you've had a another version of the program installed.
The App store version is reading the preferences/install files of the previous version, even though you may have deleted the previous Logic application the preference/install files are still there.
Delete the User Preferences
You can resolve many issues by restoring Logic Pro back to its original settings. This will not impact your song files. To reset your Logic Pro user preference settings to their original state, do the following:

Type ~/Library/Preferences in the "Go to the folder" field.
Press the Go button.

I got this fixed,
I disabled the tabbing on the window opening the title window, this happens to be my main app.
After calling the popup manager I simply call.
Application.application.tabChildren = false;
Then I created a custom event for the cancel.
Add event listners to the popups then on event I simply re-enable tabbing

the problem started when my computer screen broke from something falling on it, the screen was replaced but the people that fixed it for me told me there may be some hard disk issues when a problem like this happens, they ran their own checks and found nothing and i was given my laptop back, then when i tried to use it, i found this problem. everything else works fine.
i have shutdown and re-started my computer multiple times and i have also re-started finder multiple times, both having no effect
i have also done a few other things to find that my apple.com.finder.plist and apple.com.sidebar.plist are both missing, and are not re-creating themselves, i have found no way to bring them back either.

there is an app called daisydisk on mac app store which will help you see exactly where the memory is focused and consumed try using that app and see which folders are using more memory

How can I add a custom title to multiple ALV reports selected by layout?

Greetings and good day, everyone!
Within the past week or so, I posted a question asking the best way to create a program that would generate multiple ALV reports. I got some great ideas, and I've actually coded up a few simple demos based on your feedback -- thank you!
Here's the issue I'm running into: Many of you suggested that I put all report records into one table, and create a field that I could use to filter on later to determine which fields I want to display for the report. For example, if I have 3 different reports, I put all the fields for all 3 reports into a table. I then add a "report key" field. As I put records into the report table for report 1, I code "01" into the "report key" field. I do the same for reports 2 and 3, assigning each a "report key" of "02" and "03", respectively.
I then set up layouts in the ALV for each of the three reports, using the filter option to only pull records with the "report key" value for that particular report. This all works wonderfully! However, I seem to have lost the ability to show a custom title for each layout. I can create a generic TITLEBAR (like "Reporting Center") but I don't know how to reset the grid's title when a layout is selected. I was hoping that SAP might use the layout description as the title on each page, but it doesn't -- it uses the TITLEBAR text.
Any ideas? I think this might be the best way to program multiple ALV reports, but if I can't display the right report title for a particular layout, I'll probably have to go back to my other alternative of putting each report in its own container/screen, and having a button to access each report from the application toolbar.

I don't have any Selection Screen radio buttons for the user to select a particular report; in my case, they specify some needed criteria by the program in the Selection Screen, the program goes off and does a fair bit of processing/updating, and then displays the ALV reports when finished. They don't want to choose one particular report to view ahead of time; they want to have all 3 (in my case) there to see what processed correctly, what was eligible to process but kicked out with errors, and what failed some matching checks done up front (this layout includes additional fields from the input file so they can see what didn't match up against R/3).
So, while I do like the code example you presented, I don't think it's going to help me in my case.

Using a repeater to pass content to a title window

Hi I have a repeater that has a button and the button open a title window component from flex
So far I use the name property of the button to pass the title from the repeater to the title of the titlewindow
here it is:
Vimeo is the name of the repeater

so far I can open it with the names from the list.
Also I have an html inside of the title window and I want to set its location from the parameters of the repeater
so here is when it start to be hard to imagine a way to retrieve that information from the repeater and pass it to
the location.
