Hi Lava,
Inorder to uncheck the Send Notification checkbox while loading the page you have to write the script targeting the class Contact(600) and target as Loaded.
Include below lines in your custom script (contact onload Script)
doc.getFieldMetadata("SEND_NOTIFICATION").set(doc,FALSE);
You can create it in On create Script also.

How can I supply path for exportAsText( ) / importTextData( ) / saveAs( )

How can I reference/provide a path for JavaScript commands that will point the user to an appropriate directory on either a local drive or network?
More specifically ... I have a button that Exports Data as a text file from a pdf form (AcroForm) by simply running:
this.exportAsText();
This brings up a Export Form Data as ... dialog box, but how can I supply the path so it will guide the user to the appropriate directory?
Upon determining this step, am I right in assuming that it would apply the same way to:
this.importTextData()
this.saveAs()

As the documentation states, you can specify the path with the cPath parameter but you must satisfy the security restrictions listed in the documentation (can only be executed from an elevated security context, must be a safe path, etc.).
It's all covered in the Doc.exportAsText() section of the JS API Reference.

In E-Sourcing application can a supplier contact delegate his responsibilities on a particular RFP to his/her internal peers?
Like we add users/collaborators on the sourcing document from buy side, can the supplier add users on the document at sell side?

By default both the contacts will be allowed to view the RFX unlike auction( beacuse auction is having feature access type bidder page)
In case the requirment is only one can submit the firm responses, other person is only allowed to prepare the responses then check the scurity profile "change proposal state" is not allowed.

Can Apple supply replacement DVD drives (IDE) for 2008 Mac Pros?

I have tried to find replacements for two faulty internal Superdrives on-line, with no luck.
Today I went into my local Apple Store and was advised to call with my serial number.
After calling & waiting I was told I needed to be put through to the technical department.
That turned out to be the Applcare line.
My Applecare expired a while ago & the office was closed anyway.
I haven't been able to find out directly from Apple if they can still supply replacement drives, does anyone here know (anyone actually got some)?
Please help me clear the junk of my desk and rid me of tatty plastic Samsung drives....

yeah, I think you nailed it there. technically Apple does still provide service for the 2008 Mac pro's but you'd have to take it in and wait. Your mileage may vary-As you (and I) have found out, it'd be cheaper and easier just to go out, buy a new drive, and install the darn thing yourself. Besides, Optiarc (the original drive makers) aren't in business anymore, and....yeah....you'll probably find E sata DVD drives 97% of the time, so probably go with that. I bought from MCE tech... an Atapi Blu Ray drive, which I had to buy because my superdrive bit the dust, and a new DVD burner would have cost at least 50, so, I figured why not. In a pinch, you can use an ATAPI/IDE dvd burner from a PC with no problem. Just plug 'er right in, and make sure the jumper is set to 'cable select' .. as for Pioneer, I know that OWC has the Pioneer blu-ray drive, but I haven't been able to find any plain Pioneer DVD burners, at least not around here.
So, i guess in answer to your question: technically, yes, but you'd have to bring in your mac pro and pay their prices.

Customer is a supplier

One of our customers has few customers who are also suppliers to him. I know there is a report in AR ' Customer Supplier Netting Report'.
Is there any work around where by I can reduce manual work?
Can I have separte clearing a/c for these customer a/c and I use same a/c for the same suppliers at Payables?

Hi,
Yes you can definitely use the work around -
You must however remember that you cannot use the customer account in Payables, but you can choose the supplier account in receivables.
Please define a different transaction type wherein you can choose the supplier account for receivable account in place of normal receivable accounts. This is basically for better control over such supplier cum customer vendors.
However still the customer or supplier balances will not be reduced as far as AR /AP is concerned. One can see the effect only in GL of all debit and credit entried so this account. Hence one must definitely run the transfer to GL program to see the exact balance.

I shoot tethered using a LR "watched folder" for auto import. Why would I do that when LR5 supports tethering with all my Canon DSLR cameras?
I use the free Canon EOS Utility, which supports live view mode and ability to change camera and flash settings on my system monitor. Lightroom currently only provides a remote shutter release and visual indication of the camera settings........and nothing else!

Customer can't start software, need advice

I have customer running Win2K that can't seem to launch our app.
batch file loads Main.class
Main.class checks for dongle and exp date once both are confirmed valid the following code launches our app

I just sent the user a batch file that bypassed the dongle check to see if we could get it to launch
I used
java -XX:-CodeForP6 -cp c:\App\jar\Application.jar; MainScreen
So I'll let you know what the results are.

Shared Members in Custom can have different aggregation weight?

I have created a Flow dimension to track the cash flow movements. Under TotalFlows, I have the different movements (OpBalance, CloBalance, Variation, Gain, Loss), all with aggregation weight of 1. But I have to create an additional structure (sibling of TotalFlows), called TotalFlows2, with shared members (OpBalance, CloBalance...) but with aggregation weight of zero.
Can I used the Shared Member with different aggregation weight? Or should I rename them (for ex., TF2_OpBalance)?

Absolutely use the shared member and set the aggregation weight to zero in your duplicate structure, this is the key benefit to custom dimensions.

Set Metadata for custom fields on Supplier (BUPA)

I have to add a new field to BASIC DATA view of Supplier. I have appended the field in the required structures. Now, I need to set the properties of field to make it as visible and enable.
How can we set these properties? Is it through implementing Implicit Enhancement points in method, /SAPSRM/IF_PDO_META_CONSUMER~GET_FIELD_METADATA of class, /SAPSRM/CL_PDO_META_MO_SUPP or is there any other way to set metada instead of using enhancement spot? Kindly guide me.

How can I supply elements of an array to the New-ADUser Class. Or can I do this another way?

Hi, I want to write a function to create a new user, and I want to keep it as simple as possible.
For example, I want to be able to call the function like.
CreateNewUser John Doe
The function itself will need to pass the value of the name, in this example John Doe into an array. And then I want to be able to reference that array for everything else.
e.g
Function CreateNewUser($fname,$lname)
[string[]]]$objName = $fname,$lname
New-ADUser -name $objname -givenname $objname[0] -surname $objname[1]
I hope you get the idea. Is this possible, am I doing it right, and is there a better way of doing this?

If you are just trying to make it look a bit cleaner you can use splatting so new-aduser isn't incredibly long...here is an example.

The splatting will definitely help, but I think what the OP is really looking for is a wrapper to make the command line really simple. I have a function I use called Copy-AdUser that does several things internally to support our business needs. The command
line is simple:
Copy-AdUser -Instance gwashing -GivenName Abraham -SurName Lincoln -Title President -Location 'White House'
Now you may not need to copy an existing user, but the ideas are the same. You can accept basic information about the user as parameter values and then in the guts of the function you can calculate all the other attributes, group membership, etc. The function

Please note this is probably not ready for you to use. You can change any of the internal logic to support naming schemes and paths that your organization uses. Also, there is a call to a function at the bottom that creates a home folder and sets permissions
on that folder. I haven't included that function so this part will error out.

What is the amplitude of the output of the amplifier? Both full scale signal and expected noise in the absence of a signal. What is the frequency range or bandwidth of the amplifier? Is the noise bandwidth significantly different from the signal bandwidth?
Do you have a DAQ device? If so, which one?
What is to be done with the data after it is acquired? Display, save to file, control something?
What interaction with the software will the user have? What inputs does the user need to enter? Is there data to be read from a file (test parameters for different amplifier models for example)? What outputs will be presented to the user? Raw data measurements, Pass/Fail indications, other...?
