Customer extended to wrong sales area

Hi,
We have 3 sales area,
Sale area one :- 1000-10-20
Sale area two :- 1000-10-30
Sale area three :- 1000-10-40
Customer is created in sales area one, we want to extend this customer to sales area two but by mistake it has been extended to sales area three. I want the customer only in sales area one and two and not in three.i.e in XD02 after entering the customer code, company code, after clicking customer's sales area only sales area one and two should be visible. How can I correct this.
In similar way some of the views are been added in material master. How can I correct this.
Vipin

Hello
You can use transaction VD06, but what you will do is you will only set a flag for deletion
Deletion process is not that easy, because you could potentially have some documents created for that customer. so if system will allow you to delete completely, that it will create inconsistencies. If you want to delete the customer master data completely you will need to work with archiving process.
Its better you only block the customer (please use VD05 for it)

can i view & analysis the customer report asper the sales area wise how?

    Hi,
If you are talking about FBL3N or any other FI customer subledger report, then Yes and No.  If you have customers extended to multiple sales area, then no, if there is a one to one relationship with the sales area then yes.
    Cheers.

  • Customer not maintained in sales area

when i create sales order system is throwing a error message
    like
customer not maintained in sales area....
in va01, after entering sold to party i am getting this error....
what should be configuration setting for setting this right.... kindly advise

    Hello,
As told by Venkat, you are required to maintain the Sales Area data.
By seeing the error there is something that you are missing in Configuration.
Go to XD02 and extend your customer. You only must have created two segments. Extend the customer to sales are segment.

  • "Copy Control" for different customer and also different sales area

    Hi, expert.
I would like to copy sales order from one to the others. However, I would like to change only "Partner Information and its sales area". For "Item Data", I would like to keep it same as original document.  <b>For example</b>,
    Sales Order1:  Customer ID = "1111111" and Sales area = "1000/10/10".
I would like to copy to Sales Order2:
    Sales Order2:  Customer ID = "1111112" and Sales area = "2000/20/20".
<u>P.S</u> "Sales Organization 1000 assigned to company code 1000. And Sales Organization 2000 assigned to company code 2000"
I have tried to do combination between different "Data transfer routines and Copy requirements". However, I am still not get my solution
    Everyone please share idea.
    Thank you,

    Dear John,
Actually, I have tried with copy requirement 2.However, it works for copying a different customer with the same sales area as original. Yes, I may need to ask developer to solve my solution. But I would like to keep it to be the last choice. I tried to search "How to copy document between inter-company businees"; but the I still not get what my custome's want.  Anyways, thank you very much for sharing idea.

    Hi Ghanesh,
Below are a few helpful links on how to use MASS.

If you are using this tool for the first time, i would not suggest directly using it on Production.  Use it few times on Test client for making yourself familiar with this tool. It is a very powerful tool and changes made from this cannot be undone.
You can also use LSMW to run mass data.  Few links for LSMW are as below:

    Lalit

    hi lalit,
in SHDB you choose to record the BDC jus like in LSMW. here it wud be mm01 and xd01. then with the help of your abaper you can make changes like defining frields as constants and all. the abaper will create a t-code and will alos provide the format in which the data will go to the text file.

  • How to delete the master data of a Customer created in a SALES AREA?

    Hi All,
I've deleted a Customer (master data) by t.code OBR2. But it exists again in its SALES AREA.
Could anyone tell me how to delete it in the sales area too?
    Thanks

    Hi,
I dont think you can delete a customer. you can market it for deletion in XD06.
for deleting customer master data you have to setup an archiving project.
    Also check the similar thread

    Hope it helps you.

  • Restrict the creation of customer master records at sales area level

I know that you can supress fields at the company code and sales area level in customer master, but, is there a way in configuration to restrict the creation of a customer master record at the company code and sales area levels?  Only the general data level is needed for this customer account group.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    Hi
Create the Customer Master without entering the Company Code and sales Area. The system will allow and ask you to fill only the General Data.
The other way is that Create a Account Group and suppress its all Fields of Accounting View and Sales Area View, so that for that account group you will have to maitain only the General view.

  • Requirement: Customer account Group wise Sale area Allowed

    HI
My client Requirement is Based on the account group system will allow few sales areas at the time of creating the Customer master
Is it possible in SAP if Yes please guide what are settings required
if No how to achieve this requirement
    Regards,
    Prasanna

    Hi
As of my understanding we use account group for:
    1. Controlling Number Range
    2. Controlling fields (Display, Hide , Mandatory)
    3. Partner Functions.
Now to control the Account Group for Sales Area  might not be possible (Please do check at your end).
Here is a suggestion , if the master's are created by different user's try controlling it through Authorizations.
And , use the number range as a criteria to identify the as like, Domestic customer no range 110001--1199999
    Export customer no range 220001--2299999.
And also you can use the sale office and sale group from the Authorization control point of view , reporting point of view.
    Thanks...................Rishi

  • Custom fields to the sales area tab of customer master data

    Hi Guys,
i have one requirement, where i need to add Zfields to the Sales tab in sales area data of customer master. Can somebody give me steps how to do it? do we need to do screen programming or just appending KNVV so that functional consultants can do configuration based on account group?
    help would be appreciated
    Thanks in advance
    Siva

    Hi,
.First in IMG - Enterprice Structure - Definition
Create the Organisational Units you want to use
2.Then In Enterprise structure - assignment
Setup the sales areas you want to use in SD
Then go to XD01/ VD01 and create a new customer to whom you want to sell goods & service thr a particular sales area which you have already set up in IMG.
YOu can create a customer master for only those sales areas which you have created in Step 2 above.
Then create a sales document type VOV8 and then assign sales document type to sales area in which you want to use.
    IMG-Sales & distributin-sales-sales document-sales doc header
Do all other assignments like item category determination, schedule line category, pricing procedure determination etc
and then you can cretae a sales document using the particular sales area.

  • ISA ERP Sales Order takes wrong sales area

    Hi experts!!
I am facing a very strange issue:
I have configured my eshop(B2B scenario, ERP edition) for 1000 10 10 sales area. So far everything was fine until some customers were extended to 1000 20 20 sales area, and now SOME sales orders for those customers that were extended are created from the eshop to 1000 20 20 sales area. I cannot find any difference between sales areas. But the second one is NOWHERE in Internet Sales Configuration.
    Please Help!!!

Instead of using an external breakpoint, you can use "generate test data" described in Note 517767.
That is much easier than with a breakpoint...and you can use it in future for other analysis of BAPI's too.
Both ways are possible, but in my point of view its easier with test datas at the transaction SE37.
    Best regards,
    Toni

  • Customer Master Record and Sales Area

    Hi All,
I'm new to SAP SD and so would appreciate some help.
A Customer Master Record may exist for many sales areas.  Does this mean many sales area within one Sales Organizational right??

Welcome to the forum.  As a new member, I would like to inform you that there are certain rules and regulations applicable to this forum which you can find to your right screen where it has also been indicated that posting basic / repeated query is not allowed.
Please AVIOD  posting queries like this.  Since you have indicated that you are new to SD, it would be better if you test in SAP and see whether system is allowing or not so that you will learn on your own.

  • Problem : Customer Master, LSMW, RFBIDE00, Sales Area

I'm having a problem loading customer data using LSMW, RFBIDE00 & tcode XD01. I can successfully load Sold To customers (account group Z0001), but have a problem trying to load ship-to (Z0002).
The problem I have is that the batch input session created by RFBIDE00 is giving an error saying that "No batch input data for screen SAPMF02D 0310". I have checked in the display converted data and all the required fields for the screen are getting populated in BKNVV structure. Also i check the internal table before RFBIDE00 does the BDC insert statment. The internal table FT has all the required data(FNAM and FVAL) for program SAPMF02D screen 0310, but still when i process the session it is giving an error saying that no input for "No batch input data for screen SAPMF02D 0310".
I have noticed that few people had similar problems a while ago, but i could find any reply which offers a solution.
    We're running 4.7 and LSMW version 4.0.
    Thanks for your help,
    Venkat

    Abdul and Sharath,
Thanks for your reply. I have checked the entries in the internal table FT and it does have BDC data for screen 310 and also it has the correct sequence. For some reason, the values are not getting transferred to screen 310 during call transaction. I have no problems in creating the customer manually using the same data as in LSMW internal table FT and also i tried recording transaction XD01 with the same data, again no issue there also.
    Thanks for your replies.

  • Sales Area per doc and cross div per sales doc

    Hello Experts,
We know that a sales doc is tied to a Sales Area.
But a Customer can be extended to n Sales Areas.
So, please confirm is it true that a customer extended to n Sales Areas can only buy from 1 sales area per sales doc.
    Another related question:
Cross division sales is where a sales doc allows a customer to order products from n divisions.
But Sales doc is tied to Sales Area.
    So, where is the logic?
What is so specifial about div 00 that makes it cross division? Where is the setting for this div 00 that makes it cross-division?
    regards
    M Russo

    Hi
For better understanding of your first question regarding sales area, please read the IMG activity documentation for the customizing step "Assign sales areas to sales document types".
I guess you can find your answer for the second question regarding cross divisions is as given below:
Reference division for document types (by sales area)
Specifies a division as a reference for sales document types.
    Use
You can share sales document type data between different divisions. You define sales document types in a central division and then use it as a reference division. Each division to which you assign the reference can use the same sales document types defined in the reference division. The sales document types are maintained centrally in the reference division.
    Procedure
If all sales document types are allowed for all divisions, leave the field blank. Otherwise, enter the division you want to use as a reference.
    Example
    Division Reference division
    01 01
    02 01
    03 01
    04 04
In this example, only divisions 01 and 04 have sales document types defined. Divisions 01, 02, and 03 share the sales document types defined for division 01. Division 04 has its own sales document types. When you create a sales order in division 03, the system checks the sales document type against the types defined for division 01. You do not maintain sales document types in divisions 02 and 03, since they are never used.

  • Customer not extended to sales area

    Hi experts,
Even though I have extended a particular customer to the given sales area, division and distribution channel, when I run the program I still get the error saying "Customer not extended to sales area" . What could be the reason for this? I am a ABAPER. I am new to SD transactions.I have checked in xd02. the customer has been extended. Where else should I check?
    Please explain in detail
    Regards
    kalyan

    HI,
Which program are yout trying to run?
How did you extend the customer? If through XD01 then try going into XD02/XD03 and enter customer and click on customer sales areas. You should be able to see the sales area that you have extended the customer into !
