Customer master_system internal no assignment to the customer

dear friends,
for the creation of customer master system system automatically assign an internal no for each and every time in a sequence i.e., for example 1,2,3.....like wise. but after processing the system for some time system not assigning the immediate no of the previous customer master no. it is skipping some nos between these two customer masters even thouh i have not created any other customers btween those two. my question is why the system skipping the customer nos, what is the purpose of it.plese resolve the problem and thank you.

System should not skip like that . either system should give some message ,showing some problem .
The main purpose of assigning internal number range is that system should give numbers in a serial order only (for example 1,2,3 etc)

    after 4.6C the Internal Number Range was changed into external Number Range due to technical requirements.                                                                               
    As the error messages due to posting manual into the affected  number ranges could not be hindered in this case with ERP2005 the desicion was made to rechange to internal number range. Note 890976 describe what to do here.

    Hi,
    As usual you need to build a role by yourself based on your requirements. In case of Odata services there are two different TADIR services that needs to be added. One corresponds to authorization to execute logic on backend server and the other one to access service on front end server. You can get specific services by tracing one call using ST01. For Fiori apps from SAP you get role templates. You can use them for inspiration.

  • Assignment of the asset during the equipment creation

    Hello everyone,
    I am currently working on the PM-AA interface which consists in linking the asset field (ITOB-ANLNR) of an equipment with the asset number given in the purchase order. The goods receipt (MIGO) creates automatically an equipment (thanks to the serial number profile of the materiel).
    As the purchase order contains the asset, I expected that the system would put this value in the corresponding field of the equipment.
    In the customizing, we have made the following changes :
    - equipment is modified synchronously with tha asset modification
    - the assignment of master data fields of assets and equipment includes the asset fields itself
    - the serial number profile is assigned to the material and allow the creation of the equipment during the goods receipt.
    Has someone already experienced this case? What do I have to do to have the asset number saved in the equipment during its creation?

    Thanks for you answer.
    I've already checked these customizing aspects but tjey are not saisfying enough : my customer wants the equipment to be created at the goods receipts in order to save the serial number registered during the reception.
    Furthermore, I'm not sure of the process if I create the equipment formerly : will it take into account the material and serial number that are given during the reception of the goods? And how does the system react with more than one equipment?

  • Incorrect Sales order line item assignment to the Planned order

    Hi,
    I am creating a sales order & then MRP run to get planned orders.
    The sales order has one assembly line item, which is a configurable material. Inside the configuration of the assembly, I maintain some components. After saving it explodes and the same components reflect below line items of the assebly in sales order.
    Now if I run MRP there is a requirement for the component and so the planned order is created for the component. But If I open the planned order & see inside its Assignment view, there is correct sales order number, but the line item its showing is that of Assembly and not of the component. Why ? Is there any wrong in configuration or any wrong in planning type ?
    I checked correct Item category is used.
    MRP Type - PD
    Correct requirement type is used in procurement view.
    I think what ever is comming is standard SAP functionality. But I am not sure.
    The client is saying, thie is wrong and because of this the warehouse guy is picking the wrong material (As the line number is wrong).
    Please suggest here.

                  We assign the Ordet type(Production order/ Planned order/ Network) to the requirment class to let the system know that for the material which has this requirment class , system chould create a Planned/ Procustion order. When you assign this normally system should create it automatically based on the settings. Requirment class comes from the requirment type which comes from the Item category and MRP type(*Genarally). Also check if there is any startegy Group assigned to the material in the material master and also the MRP group. Check the strtegy group defualts in the transaction "OPPS"(rEQUIRMENT TYPE /class FOR CUstome requirments). The best thing you could do is make the screen shots of the assembly header and the component's requirment classes and tell the business that based on this sytem is creating the planned order.And also check the plant parameters and the MRP group parameters in "OPPQ" and "OPPR" respectively. Kindly please let me know if you need any more infromation on this.

    I am getting the error while trying to create a complaint (In-house repair) transaction.
    No date profile assigned to the transaction/item category
    Message no. CRM_BILLING015
    System Response
    Billing dates cannot be maintained.
    Procedure
    Assign a date profile to the transaction type or item category in Customizing.
    Make sure that this date profile contains all the necessary date types:
    BILL_DATE
    INVCR_DATE
    date profiles are assigned to both transaction type and Item category. mentioned date rules are in place in standard configuration itself. still the problem persist.
    Please help me to resolve the issue. Your help will be highly appreciated.

  • CS-No configurable material can be assigned to the order

    Can someone please assist me with the following problem? I am creating a Refurbishment Order in Customer Service using an Equipment created by an action in VMS.  The material maintained in the Equipment is a configuration material and I get an error "No configurable material can be assigned to the order" when I use this equipment to create the order.

    Dear Tiaan,
    We have exactly the same issue. Apparently SAP has blocked this posibility. The SAP solution doens't support configurable materials on Service Orders goes for 4.6, 4.7 and 6.0. To my understanding this is a very big miss in the SAP solution. I hope that we by listing it here can inform SAP that it makes no business sence not to be able to provide service on configurables materials. We will most likely go for a modification in the source, since SAP doesn't support this.

    Hey Hi,
    IF you are familiar with authorizations in PFCG trabsaction you are finaliar with S_DEVELOP if not ask the authorization team on your project.
    Basically this authorization object handles the read/write etc authorization related to devlopment objects. If you implement Adobe forms you will probably develop your own forms or at least copy the SAP forms to customer namespace.
    For Adobe you will therefore have 2 custom development objects (1 for the form and 1 for the interface that is automatically generated). The end-user shoulf have at least READ access to these objects. If not the portal will trow an error on this.
    To determine the tech names of the objects find the form and related interface in transaction SFP. These should be inserted in the object S_DEVELOP in the role for the end users.
    You may want to consider to put the value Z* in the object which will give authorization for all the custom developed objects.
    If you can't find the object reply again and i will send a screenshot.
    Finally, make use of the splended transaction ST01!! It will make your life a lot more easy in portal! It traces all the authorizations needed and missing for any user you specify. After activating the trace and running a portal scenario the log will tell you want went OK and what not on an authorization object level.

  • Automatic Tasks are assigning to the user even the Vacation rule Enabled

    I have enabled a Vacation rule in bpm/workspace.
    But I can see all the tasks assigned in the inbox for that user.
    Then I have enabled the Customized rule as the vacation rule and tried to reassign the tasks to an another user.
    That is also not happening. Tasks are assigning to the other user.
    Our ECM version is 11.1.1.6.0
    Went through all the documentations and couldn't find the solution..

    do you mean the instances that were previously assigned to the user are still there in the user's queue?
    Vacation rules let you reassign or delegate tasks assigned to a user once the vacation period begins.  If work items are already in their queue before the vacation rule goes into effect, they remain in the person's queue.  It's up to the user to reassign or delegate the existing work item instances that were already in their queue.
    New instances that arrive once the rule goes into effect however, should be automatically reassigned (or delegated depending on the vacation rule's radio button selected) to the other person.

    It looks like the iPhone is locked to a carrier that is not the one you are trying to use.
    You need to determine which carrier it is locked to and then contact them to see if they are willing to authorise the unlocking of your iPhone.  As ManSinha mentioned, many carriers will only authorised the unlock if requested by the customer who had the contract with them for this iPhone.
    Remember that only the carrier who owns the lock on your Iphone can authorise Apple to unlock the iPhone in their servers.  You need to contact the carrier or have the previous owner of the iPhone request the unlocking.

    we have some tasks coming from our back- end system. When a certain task needs to be substituted to a colleague, no problem ... for one task. When we wish to assign him a second task, we get following message :

    Is substitution only limited to one task per person? What would be a workaround? It's possible to create for each combination of tasks a definition in the back- end which is available from the substition drop down list, but this is not what our customer would like to see.

  • PA-Hiring Error- No Valid Interval Found (Internal Number Assignment)

    Hello,
    Iam facing this issue at the time of hiring (IT0000). The internal number range (01) is maintained in transaction code PA04 from
    00000001 to 90000000     and ext check box is NOT checked.  In NUMKR , the return value of the feature is also 01 .
    Now the weird thing is i get this so called error " No Valid Interval Found (Internal Number Assignment)" but if i ignore the error and hit enter / save , it lets me save IT0000 and moves on to the next infotype in infogroup.
    has anyone faced this before? what could be the possible solution here? Any help would be greatly appreciated

    If you have BuilEmp object, then you can get BP_NUMBER using the relation BuilEmpToHeaderRel.
    for ex:

    We are using a CRM 7.0 system. We want to create a new Business Partner using LSMW. We chose IDoc basic type CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M03 to perform it. We want to create it with internal number assignment (we don't have BP ID or BP GUID). Unfortunatelly, when we leave PARTNER_NO and PARTNER_GUID fields empty, we get an error message that we should supply at least BP ID or BP GUID. So what values should we enter in order to create a BP with internal number assignment?
    Please put attention that we also don't want to enter any alternative external number because we don't want the end user to see after in the WebUI.

    Hello,
    Standard CRM PC UI application offers three options when you push 'New' button: 'Person', 'Organization' and 'Group' (combobox appears). In your case, 'Person' should be selected.
    p.s. If you don't see combobox mentioned above, it could be security issue.
